• Robin (6/5): - The staff member left the property and wasn’t available for 3pm check in but returned quickly after I called. She was very apologetic and friendly - mistakes happen but this was inconvenient for us due to our timelines. Room is very basic but clean. There is no coffee in the rooms FYI. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

• Tom (2/5): - Where I parked had drug smoking packaging in the area. The motel carpets were filthly, and the pool wasn't operational. The staff was friendly and helpful. On our 12,000km trip from NB to AB and return, this was the most expensive motel we stayed in, and also the dirtiest carpets, but I must also say that the bedding was clean.

• Carrie (8/5): - The room was clean and new. Good location. No elevator to get to the second floor. No ice machine, you have to go the office and she gives you a small bag from her freezer. They have a picnic table and some chairs in the parking lot to sit which was nice.

You can only get it from Tim Horton's, which is close. And you cannot get a Georgian College discount unless you book directly with the motel. Everything else is great!

• ROCHELLE (8/5): - We didn’t understand the the “new wing” when booking. When we arrived at the location it reminded us of the motel featured in the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho. Fortunately my wife was a little more observant than I, and she saw another building to the left which it turns out was the new two storey wing. My suggestion would be to include two storey wing to avoid such comparisons for future guests. The night staff was cooperative but the phone in the room had no dial tone. The beds were super comfortable as well as cirque comforters however the TV was mounted high on the ceiling satisfactory for a one night stay.

There was garbage accumulated at the end of the Hallway and that was creating fruit flies in my room, i booked 4 nights and they were short staff and couldnt clean my room

The walls are paper thin and the room next door was so loud well past 3 am. If it wasn’t a snow storm outside I would have left. Room was clean.

• Brian (6/5): - We booked through Expedia, Travellers Inn new wing is a renovated multistory building in the heart of Owen Sound. The old motel is next door, didn't look appealing at all. The new wing building has renovated rooms, but we noticed a few nuisances. The walls have minimal soundproofing as you can hear contractors voices through the wall, we had to turn on TV to block it out. The bulbs were burned out in bathroom, someone else's hairs in the bed, while sheets were crisp and clean. The ventilation system is the old wall mounted heat pump/AC and it was noisy. No continental breakfast, the owner has an attached restaurant next door. Overall, it's economy $100 a night off season, but I would expect more for the money. There is no incentive to go back, or recommend. No pool, it's a safe place to sleep for one night only if you really need a place to stay.
