Guest Reviews
- Stacy (10/5): Very nice facility. Great staff - The place was very clean. The room was cold and i couldn’t put the radiator on. I traveled with my blanket. So i was warm
- Manzano (10/5): -
- Denise (1/5): Couldn’t wait to leave. - Price and location ok. It was 30 degrees outside and the rooms had no heat. Hot water heating system. It was freezing. When we checked out, the staff person said that the boiler was off/not working. No heat and sub freezing temperatures
- Anne (6/5): -
- Birutė (9/5): - Everything ok
- Russell (1/5): Didn't stay. No heat. Asked for refund. - N/A No heat in mid-Spring Minnesota. Standoff'ish reception. Nobody at front desk.
- Charlotte (3/5): Will NOT use this facility again! - Lower level was good. The bed was comfortable. The floors were clean. Supposed to be a non-smoking room but reeked of smoke! Only one bath towel for two guests. Heater only ran for a minute at a time and took forever to warm up. First key to open building entrance did not work.
- Ken (4/5): - Most was good , didn't need frills Room temperature was very 🥶
No Able to control heat at all very disappointing 😞
- Daniel (6/5): -
- judi (6/5): -
- Groover (7/5): -
- Cain (1/5): Never stayed - Nothing was not allowed to stay
- Yuchen (9/5): - The front desk staff was extremely warm. Communicating with her was very pleasant. I checked in at midnight, but she still actively helped me. The blanket is a bit thin, and the air conditioning doesn't seem to work very conveniently. I didn't pay much attention, you might need to communicate the situation with the front desk
- Davonte (2/5): -
- Patricia (7/5): - The room was perfect for the price
- Randall (8/5): I would stay again at this motel. - Staff very nice. Everything was fine.
- Stacy (9/5): Great-would definitely recommend to others if you want a reasonable place to get a good night's rest - I was traveling for testing at Mayo and just wanted an inexpensive place to stay overnight for a two day test. The hotel and room was clean and quiet and staff very friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find and located close to Walmart, Menards, Culvers and other shopping places and eating places.
Also liked the fact that you could check into the hotel by noon if needed which was great - as I wasn't feeling well after morning tests and able to check in and able to take a nap as the room was very quiet.
Got a great value for the price I paid and would definitely stay here again if I will be in the Rochester area. Be aware there is no breakfast but you will save money on the upfront cost of the hotel. The room had a medium sized fridge and microwave so we just bought supplies at Walmart close by for our breakfast and supper.
- Scott (10/5): Peaceful - Clean quiet nice clerk inexpensive It was all good
- calvindkunene (9/5): - Easy check-in

- calvindkunene (10/5): - Quite, easy check-in, location, parking I really don't have any
- Arthur (8/5): Red Carpet is a good basic facility - While an older facility, it was very well maintained, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The only other patrons we heard were talking in the hallway as the passed our room. There was no noise from rooms on either side of us or from occupants above. Check in was quick, and we were offered rooms either on the firs or second floor. The entrances were secured 24/7. Parking was ample. Plenty of choice of restaurants on Broadway near the motel. It was a good value. Total!y OK

- El (6/5): -
- Jeremy (1/5): Never again will we stay with anyone affiliated with that hotel - Price was affordable Manager was extremely rude from the beginning. Upon checkout she called my wife a liar for not being a mayor patient! That was the whole reason we were in town! Extremely terrible service from the top down.

- Lisa (10/5): -
- Mathieu (8/5): - Personnel tres agréable. Excellent rapport qualité prix!
- Shannon (6/5): -
- Steve (10/5): - The major downfalls were the room was kinda musty smelling from the air conditioner fan not being left on between guests and the refrigerator was not cold so i could not refreez my ice packs for my cooler, and there is no air movement in the halls it was like a sauna
- Juza (8/5): -
- DENNIS (4/5): - Air conditioner was either off or on by a light switch.
- Parah (7/5): -
- Daniel (6/5): - The pillows suck
- Veronica (10/5): Surgery at Mayo Clinic - If you’re traveling to Mayo Clinic this is the best place to stay. It’s clean quiet and great AC and cable channels it’s 10 out of 10
- Amber (9/5): - Always a good stay Door handle broken and would come in room to clean but wouldn't restock cups or change out towels
- Shamso (10/5): Wedding trip - Quite and comfort
- Tracey (5/5): Passable -
- Glen (8/5): Acceptable but not extraordinary. - Location to Mayo Clinic Hallway smelled damp and moldy.
- Dean (7/5): Good - It serve my purpose
- Steven (10/5): Large Room, Clean - Needed a place to stay for the MX races. After looking at reviews I chose the Red Carpet. Very nice lady checked us in. Very large double queen room was reserved. Went to room, and had to turn on AC(no problem). We out and had a late dinner and room was cooled down when we got back. Shower had plenty of hot water for the next morning. If, you want a CLEAN, CHEAP place to stay this is it.
- Mark (8/5): - Older place but clean. right price for me
- Fleurette (6/5): Basic place. - Very basic. Looked like an old place that was renovated but hallways smelly and hot. No air in lobby, no breakfast or coffee. Rooms had air conditioner but you can't adjust it, just use an on/off switch or call desk for adjustments. Steep stairs to lobby. Pretty clean, good fridge and microwave. No vending machines, just ice.
- Alex (7/5): Good -
- Rinehart (5/5): Passable -
- Scott (8/5): Good value, will stay again in future. -

- Deutsch (8/5): Very good - Staff was friendly and efficient. I was there for work so I didn't spend much time in my room. The only issue I had was the sink stopper didn't work. No other problems.
- Heinkel (5/5): Passable - close to hospital really small rooms
- Jaycie (10/5): post op vacation - the staff member that checked me in was was amazing. and answered questions . way to go to her nothing everything was amazing
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I really enjoy it. It's really quite around here an the people are really nice here
- Doug (6/5): - not as clean as I would expect.
- Greg (8/5): - Friendly
- Saucier (10/5): Definity worth the price! - Looks can be deceiving as this place looks like a little shanty town motel BUT was so impressed with the beds they were like sleeping on a cloud! I've stayed at many hotels and the beds are always so hard I never get good sleep even at expensive hotels beds are terrible. When and if I need to stay in Rochester again I will definitely be staying here!! The rooms were very clean also! There wasn't anything I didn't like. I was surprised though they don't have a breakfast buffet like most hotel/motels
- Leathers (10/5): Exceptional - Small just what I needed for me. Clean
- Florin (9/5): Very good stay - Did not have breakfast Coffee maker doesn't quite work, but sort of did the job
- Graziela (10/5): - Very clean
- Hanson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janette (9/5): Superb -
- Liz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erica (3/5): Bed was hard, too thin of blankets on the bed, atmosphere was unpleasant, not cozy at all. - The shower head was better than most I’ve used. Had a wider spray. I didn’t appreciate having to use a phone to speak to the front desk. It wasn’t in plain sight. Once I was told about it I had look for it.
- Kristi (5/5): Passable - The incidental rate is the same as the room. It’s ridiculous
- Dasom (10/5): - Kind staff
- Verified traveler (4/5): Cheapest around if you don’t mind dirt & no AC - Very dirty. Fridge was not clean at all, bed & walls were very dirty. Wiped the toilet seat when I got there & a lot of the crud came off on the wipe. Super hot in there. AC was not able to be used or even the fan only mode on it. Was told to open a window. Right on the highway so it made for a loud night’s sleep. Also king size bed is in a room where the bed is touching the door frame. No room to sit on the bed if anyone needs to enter or exit the room.
- Thomas (6/5): - Heat Control not respond 2 warm 2 72Degrees
- Raymond (9/5): Superb - Everything was pretty nice I have no complaints

- David (8/5): Very good -
- Geraldine (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (10/5): Very comfortable except street noise - Price clean Street side noises
- Jennifer (4/5): - Nothing online States anything about needing a deposit however once you arrive they tell you that you have to pay the deposit that needs to be in cash and you cannot cancel your reservation or you'll lose your money so it puts you in a pretty tight spot if you're not expecting that. And they seem to charge each individual differently some are charge 50 and some are charged 100 simply based upon their choosing.
