- Lindsay (1/5): Do not stay here! - Proximity to Silver Dollar City. Kitchen, bed, and bathroom seemed clear enough. Liked the large master bath. Bed was comfy enough. I was expecting a rustic budget cottage with poor design choices. I was NOT expecting things to be run down so badly that it feels offensive that they are charging money. If one of these things had been broken we would have been fine. But to have ALL of them broken shows they really don’t care about giving the guest a decent experience. The AC didn’t work, the ceiling fan didn’t work in the living room, and most of the screens were severely damaged or nonexistent so we didn’t want to keep windows open. The TV was not easy to use. There were no fire pits though they had been listed as a community amenity. The fans that did work had like a half inch of dust on them that I had to clean before using. There were cobwebs everywhere. I spent a half hour cleaning before we could use the place, which is why I didn’t complain about all of these things on arrival, because they had already broken my trust and I didn’t want to be moved to a different unit with different problems and have to spend my vacation cleaning ANOTHER one of their cottages. The blinds on the windows were paper thin. A ground light shown in at night and the sun bright in the morning so I had to find a way to hang towels over them. Would have been easy for them to just hang curtains. The bathroom blinds didn’t close all the way so it creeped me out at night that someone could see in. The provided pots and pans in the kitchen are all made of very scraped up nonstick surfaces. The cottage (106) was just very disappointing and put a damper on our vacation.

- Nathan (2/5): - I would rather have camped in a tent than stay here. There were bugs everywhere in the cottage resort. Huge dead mud dobbers in the queen bed, a bunch of bugs on the floor under the bed, in the shower, in the kitchen, it was disgusting. The shower was hardly big enough for the smallest person in our group to use. The toilet didn’t flush properly and you had to hold it down until it flushed down entirely. I had to climb on the toilet to fix the light fixture above the bathroom sink because whoever screwed the lightbulbs in didn’t actually put them in. It’s a lightbulb. Not nuclear engineering. Then I almost fell over backwards when I sat down in the kitchen because one of the chairs was broken and falling apart. I didn’t notice it until I almost cracked my head open. I don’t feel like checking if the furniture will or will not end your life should be something you should worry about when booking on Expedia. Wondering if that had something to do with the inch deep hole in the floor as well.

Chipmunks under house that come out early in morning to play. You can't hear them at all but so neat to watch. Everything was good.

- Michael (6/5): - leaves in the entryway, piles of them. cereal in the floor upon entry. shower looked like it had mold in it, pots and pans were completely un-usable something was stuck to the bottom of one pot and was pealing off spatula had eggs stuck to it, we did it use any of the dishes. flooring is laminate that is separated and very worn, white refrigerator with more brown on it than white and plenty of dust on top it just simply did not have a clean feel to it, I will not recommend this property I will not stay there again. and will not recommend,
- Crouse (1/5): Will never stay again. - The location was close to SDC It is very old and outdated. The couch and chair were stained and dirty, the bathroom is tiny and the shower was super small and there was very little water pressure. There were multiple units for AC or heat and couldn’t hardly figure out what to use. The ceiling fan and lamp in the bedroom didn’t work. It was definitely not what we were expecting.

- Brittany (9/5): Peaceful place to stay - Came as a group of 4 for the 4th of July weekend and stayed in the apartment on the second floor. It was really spacious and comfy for all of us. Each room has an a/c unit that runs cold, the hot water and water pressure never gave out even as 4 of us showered twice a day. We swam in the pool a ton, used the grill, walked to the market which was fully stocked and had great prices. It was nice to start the morning off walking to the Floating Café for breakfast every morning. The staff and owner at The Cottage Resort were always friendly and helpful. The property itself is roomy we never had an issue parking the vehicles or boat when we were done for the day. We were about 10 minutes from Branson's Silver Dollar City so we took advantage of that on a couple of occasions. All in all the place is in a great location, the apartments are perfect for groups and the price just couldn't be beat. We will definitely be coming back to The Cottage Resort.

We love the location. It is close to the water and not too far from Branson. Also, pet friendly. Small kitchen area, felt cramped. The ceiling fan in the bedroom with the king bed did not work. Very small shower.
- LuAnne (10/5): - Always love going here. The owners are so nice and helpful. Love the cabins and especially the screened in porches. They have a nice pool and right across the street from Table Rock Lake. Lots of grass for your pets and a playground for the kids. This is definitely a great place to enjoy time with your family.
- Tammy (4/5): - The cottages are old as is everything in them. The living room furnishings were visibly discolored. The toilet required plunging multiple times per day. The shower is tiny which makes it quite difficult to keep the curtain inside resulting in very wet floors. There was however plenty of hot water. If you're looking for a fairly affordable fishing cabin this would do the trick Its a great location. Plenty of space for 2 adults 4 kids.

We were there late in the season, so everything was very quiet and relaxing. The Marina and Table Rock Lake was a short walk from our cottage. We will definitely stay again.
- Tara (10/5): Cozy, clean and comfy! - Quick weekend getaway for Silver Dollar City during Fall break. We had stayed at Indian Point before and loved the location. The Cottage Resort price point, availability and location was spot on. We really just needed a place to drink coffee and sleep with a shower here or there. We checked in late at the Market. Super nice staff - they were helpful before and during our stay. The cottage itself reminded me of... hmm... maybe my first apartment. A vintage first apartment. OK, so it's dated but it's a cabin near the lake. It had everything we needed for a family of 4. The heat and the AC worked well. The beds/pillows/towels were nice quality, comfy and clean. The little couch was stiff but comfy. The shower was tiny but it sufficed for a quick scrub. The most important thing is that it was clean. I walked around barefooted and my feet and socks weren't dirty. True test there! There is a cute little play area, my kids loved the see-saw. There is a firepit and a picnic area. Really, a sweet little place in the woods. We walked to the marina and had lunch one day, fed the ducks and fish. Best $2 I spent all weekend. The Market has everything you might need, in case you forgot something, plus all kinds of snacks, booze, bottled water, etc. Cute, clean place and truly - the nicest people. We would absolutely stay here again and are looking forward to another visit soon.

- Jimmy (10/5): - It had been a couple years since last stay and could tell a difference. We could see that they updated a few things and maintaining it very well. The only small issues i had was no dresser or anything to put clothes and only a few hangers. I bought some cheap hangers and left in the room. The pwners are very nice and always make sure everything is good. Very convenient to buy groceries and cook in cabin rather than going put to eat every meal. They also have a well stocked store right on property which is very useful. The best thing is being able to sit out on the screened in patio especially since it rained a few times while we were there. Highly recomend especially if a trip to Silver Dollar City is in your plans cause its right down the road. And also really close to the lake.

- JOSEPH (10/5): Quiet and comfortable - The staff keeps the property and the place you stay very clean you'll see him driving back and forth cleaning the place outside very safe when you're walking to your Apartments you can't believe your eyes how clean is inside and during the Christmas season they put a Christmas tree in front of every place I really know how to treat people definitely we will be my place to stay when I come to Branson again

- Jon (8/5): - Although the property is a bit dated, the staff is kind and easy to deal with. The room was very clean and easily accessible. Store on property is well stocked, parking is well-lit. Within walking distance from the local marina, which has a floating resturaunt. We had breakfast there and enjoyed it. We have been staying at different places on Indian Point for years, we found that we would be traveling opposite the traffic flow in both directions, no traffic jams! Silver Dollar City is right up at the top of the hill, convenient. And, yes, we will stay at The Cottage Resort again.

Easy access to Silver Dollar City. Great firepit outside. Enjoyed a wonderful campfire. A floor lamp in the living room would have been nice so that we did not have to have the overhead lights on.

- Robert (10/5): - This is a basic motel/cabin. Don't expect much, but it's close to the water, clean, and has cold air and hot water. Staff is responsive and super friendly and helpful.

- Shirley (8/5): - The area was will lighted if you like darkness to sleep like we did then you will need to bring something to darken the room. There is no shampoo you will need to bring your own. We had a very small kitchen and small shower. We did have to pick up a few things to use in the kitchen. The bed was soooo soft it made it very hard to sleep because we like hard beds. But we had a nice time and we would go back and stay there again. We now know what we will need to bring for a second trip.

- LuAnne (10/5): - Love this place. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush because everything else is provided for you. Love the screened in patio and the view. You can see the lake and lots of deer. The store is very handy and all the people working there are the best!!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Owners reside on site and are attentive to guest needs. Rustic resort is 300' from the marina which is convenient. Has a pavilion, pool, slack lines, playground, yard games and fire pit along with charcoal grills. Quiet and restful location but 15 minutes from Branson.

- Amanda (10/5): Will be visiting again!!!! - The family 2br 1bath upstairs unit was extremely clean. It has the feel of an older lake house. Very comfortable, everything you could need was stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of silverware, dishes and small appliances! We saved a bunch by reheating leftovers from the huge meals in town and saved time by having breakfast at the cottage before we headed out for the day. There is a lovely fire pit with seating near the pool area and corn hole also. A full size Jenga game and Tic tac toe game is still also available. There are grills provided at each of the cottages too!

- Kalina (10/5): Great family get-a-way - The Cottage Resort and Market was a great hidden gem. It It is close to docks, a public beach, and has a little convenience store near the rooms. We stayed near the pool and it was cozy for our family of 6. The cottage and pool were really clean, and we had no-contact towel and bathroom delivery. I loved that all the rooms were private entry, so we didn't have to wander a large indoor building to get to our rooms. (Thank you COVID). There was also plenty of swimming, biking, fishing options near our cottage.
- Tink (6/5): - My husband and I have stayed here a couple of times in the past and had a pleasant experience. Since he is deceased, I took a girlfriend (were both over 65) with me to Branson and stayed here. First of all, the air conditioning unit was set way high up on the wall (?). We had made reservations several days earlier and it was extremely hot outside. It was not turned on, so it was miserable inside for a few hours. The controls are unreachable except by climbing on a chair, etc and neither of us ladies were going to do that! Someone came to turn it on and set the controls. Of course by the next day we’re so cold, all I could was open a window to the heat to try to balance out the temp. The bathtub being a supposed jet setup had sides on it we had to hold on to the towel bar outside the tub and hike our leg way up to get out. Very dangerous! So it became sponge baths after that. Everything was clean, but this particular cottage #112# is not a good setup for older folks

- Daniel (4/5): First and Last Stay for us!!! - Was disappointed to find the refrigerator unplugged when we arrived. Cottage was advertised with a sofa sleeper or Futon wich it had but did not have any linens or blankets to put on it. No exhaust fan in the bathroom Not to mention that the bathroom was very small abd cramped. Kitchenette was small as well.

- dianna (6/5): - cottage was in a great location, office help was wonderful but when booked on line i had a choice of a 2 bedroom with either a sofa bed or a futon, i asked for the sofa bed. when i got to the cottage and seen the futon i went to office and told them they said they didnt have sofa beds anymore only futons but its still on there website!!! anyways everything was ok in the cottage except the shower is way too small
