• kawtar (5/5): - La carte de notre chambre a cessé de fonctionner. Après l’avoir signalé à la réception, on m’a remis une seconde carte, mais elle ne marchait pas non plus. Heureusement, mon mari était à l’intérieur et a pu ouvrir la porte. Cet incident est survenu la veille de notre départ, ce qui a limité les désagréments.

• Latifa (9/5): Prima verblijf - Wij komen nu voor de tweede keer. Het is een rustig en veilig hotel. De omgeving is ook heel veilig. Het restaurant heeft geen menu kaart dus de prijs is een verassing.
• Redouane (2/5): Verschrikkelijk - Niks eigenlijk… Het is een heel oud hotel, alles is eraan kapot en moest in mijn incheckdag 3x van kamers wisselen omdat dan de airco het niet deed of de douche deur die aan de binnenzijde niet meer openging of dat de raam in de kamer niet meer dichtging……

• emmet (8/5): - Very helpful and friendly man at reception. Fast check in and check out. Hotel is very convenient for small airport nearby. Relaxed place, breakfast ok if very repetitive. Wifi good, shower good, nice balcony area, comfortable bed. Swimming pool seems to be more decorative than useable, i might not be correct here. Room a bit jaded and tired, light switches and furniture needs some attention.

The room is very small, the bathroom is small, and the TV is out of order Finally, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone ... Very bad experience...

• Josee (6/5): - First, the staff was amazing and very very friendly. If you needed help, they were extremely quick in responding. That was the best part of the stay. The bfast was ok tasting. As for the rest, the hotel and especially the rooms needs an upgrade. There wasn’t one piece of furniture in the room that wasn’t visibly distressed.
• Abdellatif Guelzim et Hakima (10/5): - This hotel is simply the best in Tetouan. The ammenities and services are second to none and the staff is just amazing. I highly recommend Mr. Jamal at the front desk. He is very polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. He definitely knows the true meaning of customer service and he goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are satisfied. Great job guys, keep up the great work!

Complete hot breakfast which is convenient and save you from searching for a place to eat before starting your day. There is space to conduct business meetings. Very welcoming pool, n ground parking which is a luxury in Morocco, clean and modern. All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommend.
• SylviaS4 (4/5): I Was Disapponted - I made the mistake of thinking SOMEONE at this hotel would be able to assist in a little English. I am in someone else's country so I can't complain about the language barrier, but not one person at this hotel seemed to even care to try to be able to help me with ANYTHING! We were there for 2 days and asked for tissue, it never came. The front desk person acknowledged they knew what we were asking for, but nothing. The air did not work and no one could help with that either. We did notice there was a wedding going on ALL the time there so I believe this is more of a conference or event type hotel. We had better luck getting people in the Medina to help over people in this hotel. We are coming back later this year for a week and I had 3 rooms booked, but will be cancelling those as soon as I can let the rest of my party know. Location is the only good thing.
• Traveller5386 (8/5): Decent hotel with friendly staff - We stayed as a group visiting family in Tetouan and chose the hotel for its location. The rooms were clean, quiet, had air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable with firm mattresses. A few things were not working (e.g. fridge, hairdryer, shower not draining). However, the staff were helpful and promptly sent a technician to fix them, or offered a change of room. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of pastries, bread, scrambled and boiled eggs and fruit. Standard breakfast drinks of tea, coffee and juice were on offer. The swimming pool was a nice addition to our stay, although the water was quite cold as the pool's position meant it did not receive much sunlight.
• surreyfull (6/5): Sunshine hotel - Average size rooms with great showers. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Really nice deep swimming pool! Buffet breakfast; average selection. 10 minute drive to Tetouan centre and 1 hour 30 minutes to Chefchaouen.
• howardd20 (10/5): A Hotel I keep Returning to. - Have been using The Chams Hotel for many years now and can honestly say that I will be using it again in the future. Its a charming hotel with very friendly staff. Has a delightful pool and garden and the food is good. Happy to recommend it.
• cazgilbert (8/5): Good quality Moroccan Hotel with great staff - The best part of my recent stay at Hotel-Chams were the staff. From the security guy, the porter who carried my suitcase, the reception staff, restaurant staff and the lady who cleaned my room, they were all extremely pleasant and helpful. They couldn't do enough for me. The first night in my room with two what looked like three ft 6 inches beds was pretty well sleepless as the bed was as stiff as a board. I asked reception the following morning if they had a softer mattress or another room and they immediately brought another three foot mattress and then the base to the room. The cleaning lady mopped the floor so everything was freshly done. The second mattress was just okay as it was another orthopaedic mattress and I am used to memory latex. My room was near the lift which was also a distraction and there was a building site outside my bedroom window and work started at 8 am which is reasonable enough. But when you have been wakened up at 4.30 am by people talking and then at 7.30 am by someone phoning the wrong room, a little bit longer in bed for a weary traveller would have been enjoyable. Most of this is not the hotel's fault, but if I stayed there again, I would ask for a room as far away from the lift as possible. The lift is excellent but it was the people using it that didn't consider other hotel guests. The hotel has recently been refurbished and it has been very well done. There were a number of business conferences when I was there so maybe that is the way this company wants to go in the future. The breakfasts were fine with a good choice, self service and the waiting staff extremely helpful. Freshly squeezed orange juice was as delicious as I remember from previous visits to Morocco. We had dinner one evening and although we arrived terribly late, the staff accommodated us and were extremely helpful. The three course set menu at around 18 euros, had choices to suit every palate, and came excellently presented. The food was very good. The hotel has a swimming pool, adult and children's section although it is not heated and it was far too cold when I was there for anyone to use it. I wanted to say that if they would like to encourage Western tourists, they should provide a kettle, and coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms, but the language was too difficult and i didn't make any recommendations to them. There is a fridge in the room and you are supplied with bottled water each day. There is also a tv in the room, but the only English speaking channel is BBC world news. Overall this is a refurbished hotel and they have made a good job, except for the steps along one corridor towards the swimming pool. They have put a sort of ramp in as an alternative to walking down the few steps but when you come off the second ramp the floor unexpectedly slopes. Security in Morocco has been stepped up greatly since I was there about two years ago. There are great changes at Tangiers airport. Hotel-Chams have an x-ray system such as you would see in airports, that you have to walk through each time you exit and enter the hotel. There is also 24 hour security outside the hotel.
• samirk381 (6/5): Not bad ! - I have spent one night at " Chams Hotel " based on a recommendation from a friend. Frankly speaking the hotel is OK.I will start with the positive points , the staff is very friendly and welcoming.The check-in procedure is excellent and really fast, I had to wait less than 5 minutes before getting my room card. The lobby is good and relatively spacey and of course clean. There is very nice paint on the hallway that takes you to the rooms and also you can find the same inside the room. Now what I really didn't like in the hotel is the following : - Room lighting is bad , the LED white light in the ceiling is not a good choice. - The wooden desk in the room was recently painted I guess and it seems that they forgot to add a wax layer to it , you can feel that the table is sticky when you touch it. - Soap bracket inside the bathroom is broken ! - The air conditioning (heating) is very very noisy and makes you feel nervous. - Worst of all is the terrible smell of fish barbecue coming from the restaurant ( or kitchen ) inside the room ... That was really awful.. I opened the door to trace the smell and found out that the corridor was filled with a bad odor and fume from the barbecue. - They gave me 2 remote controls upon check-in and both had flat batteries. - The mattress is not good !! My advice is not to stay on the ground floor or you will really suffer from bad odor coming from the restaurant.
• 911hania (6/5): Not too bad - we been there for three nights the hotel not too bad but they need some more professional staff , the food quality good the hotel rooms big but need more professional furniture , the toilets ok but not so fantastic decoration , what ever the hotel not too bad .
