• John (8/5): - The property itself was gorgeous, with an amazing view. The pond in the middle with ducks, lizards and chicken was pretty cool, and it takes a matter of seconds to get to the beach. But to get back to the shops is about $20 -24 per person, taxis don’t take into account groups. There were a few minor issues the pool wasn’t cleaned and had bugs floating on top, on the weekend it looked like the pool was drained of several feet of water, and had slime build up on the sides of the pool. There was limited choices for food in the immediate area 2 amazing restaurants (sea salt and Sudi’s) food was amazing. The two smaller bars are good. But the hours of operation are concerning the 2 bars were basically shut down by 8’ish the 2 restaurants close at 10. And a little seaweed build up in areas but nothing unexpected
• Betty (10/5): Favorite Virgin Islands resort - I loved this resort. We stayed on all three US Virgin Islands on this trip, and this resort was my favorite. The beach was beautiful and clean, I really enjoyed having a coffee shop and restaurants on the property.

Perfect amount of space for my family great location, steps away from the beach as well as fine dining. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! The gated parking lot gave great assurance. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
• Brittany (10/5): - This was probably the most beautiful resort I’ve ever stayed at. Walking into the unit was a wonderful surprise. The space was huge! The decor was very thoughtful and the amenities of the kitchen were top level. It felt like home and cozy.

The property was immaculate and spacious. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and the on-site restaurants/bars were perfect for a casual meal. Gorgeous beach and very close to Red Hook. We would definitely stay here again!

• Thomas (10/5): - This was a fantastic, updated condo and location for our stay. Having 2, full bathrooms is a big plus and the condo is nice and modern. Communication from the property management company was great and, when we found a broken coffee maker, they had it replaced within an hour. The beach is great and it's nice to have a beach restaurant and bar around the corner to walk to.

A little more attention to the main yard, grass,flowers and other plants need alot . i'm sure you have plans, the yard has great opprtunity, put something in it like art or sculptures that reflect the area.

I wish there were more activities to do in the vicinity, but its okay! Taxis are available right on the spot to take you anywhere you need. :) Would come back in a heartbeat.

• Jeffrey Ross (8/5): - The interior of the unit itself is quite nice, the bedroom is of a good size with a decent bed. The bathrooms are average size but clean with ample hot water. The in suite laundry is also a nice feature and worked fine. That said, it needs to have some dishes replaced as there was only a single wine and glass and only 2 coffee cups. There was drip coffee maker and 2 pod type.coffee makers but the drip maker did not work. If you like to have your coffee in the morning make sure you purchase in a compatable format. While the property is but a 2 minute walk from a very nice beach that has exclusive use beach chairs for residents and tennants, there is no view from the unit to the beach or ocean. Also we found the outdoor.patio area to be a bit disappointing as it was at the rear of the unit with no chairs or table, and it looked right on to the parking lot. There are several very nice restaurants in close.proximity. A couple you could walk to and others.were little.more tham a 5 minute drive away. All said, the place served our purposes, was clean and in a decent location on one of the better beaches on the island.

Goerty jumped right on the problem and had a repairman scheduled to come out immediately. It was great to have amenities on site so we didn’t have to worry about driving or getting a taxi. Chairs are available. Pool could use upgrade. Concierge person was awesome, very friendly with all of our questions. Snorkeling was great, lots of fish and sea turtles. Hidden secret and no solicitation of junk and weed. Very family oriented and relaxing. Great beach!!! Sea salt restaurant right next to place, great food and a bar, pizza place, and coffee shop. Sapphire marine is right around corner for excursions. Definitely going back can’t wait to see the improvements to the outside. Thank you for a great time and celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary

• Randy (10/5): - Such a great experience upon arrival. Concierge, Gorety met us in the parking lot. She provided a tour of the property and was available if needed. The outside of the property may be a turn off due age and simply the weather can be tough on the exterior; however you open the door and this place was amazing - nice upgrades throughout. The walk to the beach is 2 min - take your coolers, backpack cooler if you have one. The restaurants have amazing food - from good ole burgers to Chilean Sea Bass…

The proximity to the beach is awesome . Wish there was more of a variety of restaurants on site, the food at the bar was served in brown paper bags and not very good for the cost.

• Amanda (2/5): Bed bugs!!!!!! - Start off with positive, beautiful beach. Now the bad, where to begin. Put us in the wrong wrong and then asked that we leave our room for the day so they could clean it at the same time they were cleaning the correct room. I refused since I paid for a room that day. Paid for ocean front, the fist room we were put in was the farthest from ocean front, couldn’t see it from the h it at all. Now for the worst part, bed bugs!!!! We left covered in bites. I’ve contacted the property and sent pictures and received zero response. So disappointing.

• martin a (10/5): - The outside looks a little aged but the inside is updated and perfect. Lots of hot water, the new refrigerator is better than ours at home and the AC works great. The baths are fully modern and are equipped with most all the toiletries you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and the view out the back is beautiful.
• Joseph (6/5): - We liked the location of the property at the beach and how close it was to the ferry. However, the unit we stayed in was very disappointing! It was not clean at all The shower in the on-suite didn’t work and the toilet in the main house barely worked. There was thick layers of dust on every fixture and around the bathroom exhaust fans. The dish washer we didn’t use because it didn’t look to be in good condition and to top it all off….THE PLACE HAS ROACHES!!! The 4 and half days we were there, we killed 7 roaches and that was in addition to the dead ones that the previous tenants stomped but left on the floors. The bed linen and pillow cases were thin and dingy (needed to be replaced) Basically, the place was tidied up and not cleaned. They also need to regularly spray every corner with pesticides. Regardless of what you may hear, it’s not an Island thing! We’ve stayed at other Islands 3 different times and this is the only time we’ve had to deal with roaches. We definitely would look elsewhere if we decide to visit again.

We loved having the Sapphire beach bar and coffee shop close by and also being super close to the Red Hook shopping area! We can't wait to come back and stay here again!

• Connie (6/5): - The beach is beautiful! The scenery is spectacular. The gardens are beautiful. I had contact with the front desk when I checked in and they were great. The unit I stayed in had not been updated since constructed in the 60s or 70s, the air conditioning did not work...at all. Luckily, I don't mind a little heat and usually there was a sea breeze blowing in through the windows and it cooled off at night. But, let's face it, I wasn't here for the accommodations, it was the beach I was after and the beach delivered!
• Dana (10/5): - Crystal cove is a great place to stay. The condo C9 is very outdated. I would recommend staying @ sapphire beach however not this condo.
• Cara (10/5): - This property was great. It is right on the beach. There is a beach bar and 2 restaurants on the property. There is also a coffee/ breakfast shop right there. They serve ice cream too! You get free beach chairs at the beach when you give your condo number. The staff was very nice. Only complaints would be that there isn't a working washer/dryer in the unit. Prior comments stated it was replaced but it wasn't. However, the cleaning staff did offer to do my laundry. Also, a vacuum cleaner would be nice to clean up sand in unit. There was a broom but that doesn't really do a good job. And the pull out couches need new mattresses. A small cooler would have been nice for the days we ventured to other beaches such as Magens Bay, which was gorgeous. The condo has pretty much everything you would need. A beach blanket, rafts, tennis rackets, coffee maker (kerig and standard), pots, pans, utensils, extra pillows, etc. The master king bed was great with a foam mattress. I slept great! The condo itself was close to Red Hook where there is a grocery store and a bunch of restaurants. The food is pricey on the island. We rented a car and drove to a Kmart where we could get some cheaper food items (pasta, cereal, etc.) They drive on the left side which was scary at first but after a few trips out and about, it felt ok. There aren't any highways and the island is very laid back, so it was fine. We took the car ferry to St.Johns one of the days. That was fun. Overall, a nice vacation.

• Kathleen (10/5): - Adele and Bernie were fabulous front desk sales representatives. I knew I could always call them with anything I was needing. I planned this trip for my sister who has walking disabilities and everything was perfect because of the great communication I had with these two women.
• Carol Jean (10/5): - This villa is immaculate and up to date with new amenities and comfortable furnishings. The property manager met us and gave us a personal tour even though we were later than expected for check in due to a rental car agency issue. The beach is steps from the villa and very beautiful. There are places on the property, near the villa, to get drinks, excellent pizza, and breakfast as well as lunch items. The resort saves Beach chairs for the villa occupants. It’s a six minute drive to a high end grocer and the ferry boat terminal to St. John. Ut was a lovely and convenient place to stay. You can’t go wrong here if staying in St. Thomas for loveliness and convenience. We would highly recommend a rental car if you stay here. Too hard to walk to get groceries. Highly recommend.

Villa is very nicely appointed, very clean with lovely decor. It is part of a complex without lobby or concierge service so we used the nearby Sapphire Bay Bar for dining and as an easy place to get taxi service. Swimming pool is very salty, located behind condos with no beach view and tired looking and salt pond in middle of complex was covered in algae and needed some attention.But overall had a good week.

Everything was clean, beach was at walking distance, private and safe, The kids love it, you can snorkel in there, we were able to see several tropical fish and two rays. We rent a car (always recommended), taxis are expensive and not easy available. However, ferry was less than a mile, the same for the grocery stores and restaurants and Coral World with Coki beach (excellent for snorkel) were close by as well. We hope we can return. Communication was very fluid for directions and questions about the area. Kudos to Xaverie and Paul for their good work.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - While the front desk staff were friendly, the wifi did not work in the room. The tv was attached to the wifi, so in addition to not having wifi, we did not have tv. When we alerted the front desk to this, they did nothing for 24 hours. When I again alerted them to this, I was given a password for a router that was not in our room. The signal was weak and would not allow us to use the tv.

• Joseph M (10/5): - My family of four stayed here and enjoyed the space including the two bathrooms. It was nice to have a king bed and the kids enjoyed the sofa beds. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a toaster. The hosts were great and very accommodating and answered all of our questions. The unit was clean and in a perfect location. Some bathroom fixtures were a little loose but worked well. We were thrilled with the condition of the unit and the grounds which were like a tropical garden. We would gladly return and stay in the same unit without hesitation.
• Susan (8/5): - We've stayed at Crystal Cove several times. The location is perfect. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the beach bar has great drinks and food. Some rooms are a little dated but I have always found them clean and comfortable. The outside of the property is well maintained and safe. The office staff is very friendly and attentive. Laundry is on site if not in your unit. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

• Krissy (10/5): - Crystal Cove Villas is a clean, safe place to stay without all the bells and whistles. The decor is dated, but it wasn’t a big deal to us since we we were exploring most days. There is a coffee shop/bakery (7a-2p) and beach bar (11a-6p) on site. There’s also a pool and tennis court that we didn’t use. The best part about this property, however, is it’s proximity to Sapphire Beach! We’ve stayed here before in 2019 and the seaweed was cleaned daily…that wasn’t the case this time. We understand that the pandemic may play a role in this though not sure. We like the area and may try to the condominiums next door during our next visit.
• Linda (6/5): - This is my third stay at Crystal Cove and it was disappointing due to the condition of our apartment we stayed in C9 and it was very run down and not cleaned before our visit. The staff at Crystal Cove is very nice and the beach Sapphire Beach is amazing but the owner with the condo that we stayed in needs to put a couple dollars into it ….(ceiling fan and lights didn’t work in my bedroom extension cords everywhere, outlet hanging out the wall) we will not stay at that unit again if we even stay at Crystal Cove…. at all it’s really a shame because I love that place.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The place was alright. The buildings were kind of run down and the pool was useless but it was just alright. I will say that you will want to bring antkiller because there are plenty of ants in and around the kitchen area. The dishwasher could be the first dishwasher ever made. It doesn't work and it just takes up precious space. Also, do not look up into the stove vent. It is VERY disturbing. I'm pretty sure the Queen Ant resides in that vent. The people that work there are not rude but they are not friendly. Looking back at it all, I would have spent the extra money and booked my stay at Margaritville.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - The room I was given was outdated and dirty. Floors were horrible and the kitchen was from 1900s. Everything in that room was old and worth the cost. You are only paying for being near a beach.
• William (4/5): Don't count on your reservation - Family and I booked a 2 bedroom condo 4 months in advance. Briefly before arrival, we received an email saying the 2 bedroom was not available, despite the earlier confirmation of the reservation. Everywhere else on St. Thomas was booked, so we were stuck with a one bedroom and a futon. We complained to Hotels.com - apparently the "guaranteed" reservation doesn't mean anything as they indicated that they contacted the facility and the facility had declined to address the matter. Very disappointed in Hotels.com and this property. Aside from the property's failure to honor the reservation and Hotels.com's failure to address the matter, the property is very dated. The grounds are well kept and pretty, and they do provide beach towels, BUT the units are dated and very dumpy inside. Although the beach is close, seaweed is a major problem, so it's not a good place to swim or snorkel. Red hook is close, but it's a long drive to Charlotte Amalie. In short, if you are spending the time and money to get to the Caribbean, pick a different place and consider a different booking site as well.
• sandra (8/5): Beautiful resort!! - We love our stay everything was great, clean, we had everything we needed, the pool was beautiful and big, the only thing that was not so good was the beach, but we went to other beaches and enjoyed it, the front desk staff were friendly and so sweet!!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Ver Nice Condo - This was a one bedroom condo which felt like home. Condo was updated, in building A. We had a nice view of the beach and we were walking distance to two restaurants. Taxis were available by the property. I did not give a perfect score because the beach had a lot of seaweed.
