Food at both restaurants was tasty. I had access to the ORO lounge because I was in a suite but that wasn’t worth much. You get 2 free drinks and nibbles before dinner. Breakfast had a vast variety of food. Would love to go back again.

- TAL (8/5): Mixed experience - The hotel is beautiful, spacious, and welcoming, with a lovely touch of chocolates waiting in our room and a fantastic view of the pier. However, there were some drawbacks. The hotel has three pools, which was great, but it would have been better if one was adults-only for a quieter experience, and a cool water bottle would have been appreciated. Half board dinner doesn’t include any drinks, including water! The breakfast service was disappointing, to say the least; we had to ask employees to serve us items like cheese, vegetables, and dessert (instead of helping ourselves), which felt quite demeaning. Additionally, we ordered crepes that never arrived, and a vegetarian omelet came with turkey bacon, which was a significant issue for us. Also, dirty plates were never cleared off our table. We also upgraded our room at an extra cost to enjoy the tea time offered, but when we saw we were unable to use it, we asked to do so on our checkout day - and were denied. This was particularly disappointing as we were celebrating our honeymoon, and could have easily been overlooked. Lastly, we requested a late checkout, but the staff didn't even check the possibility and simply said the hotel was fully booked. It would have been nice if they had checked before denying us. We were also overcharged at check out - we had paid for a half board, but were charged for dinner by mistake. We explained this to the hotel concierge, and they asked for a couple of hours to clear this up.

There was one issue which they tried to resolve but had no luck. The room smelled every bad along with the bathroom. It was to point where it was unbearable. They did use air fresheners but wasn't much effective. Besides that everything was really nice.

We were initially given a room on the 2nd floor with no view , that had it’s own patio .Which was surrounded by a 10ft concrete wall. No sunlight could get in . The bedding and furniture are dated. We had to wait 30 mins on a taxi. They tried to force expensive “ hotel” taxi’s on us . £50 each for breakfast, so we declined and took a taxi to Dubai Mall.

- Ahmad (10/5): Great hotel - Overall amazing hotel but I will start with bad things I stayed 8 nights they upgraded me with terrace with 4 walls no view at all I was expecting nice upgrade like other hotels when u stay 8 nights Last 3 nights there was construction noise from 9 morning till 5 pm couldn't sleep nor take a nap the receptionist didn't believe me till I recorded the noise with videos after that they offered me another room with better view but it was too late I had one night remaining so I refused The pools are so nice but there is no sun from 3pm and above so if u want enjoy the sun go from 10 am till 3pm Standard rooms are without sofa they put 2 single armchair instead which is bad u can't relax only on ur bed TV not smart can't connect ur mobile to watch movies or YouTube Food in the pool is average The good things about this hotel is Room is nice decorated with nice bathrooms and Versace aminities Valet people are fast Pool people are fast and got nice drinks and coconuts Nice dj near the adult pool every day Receptionist are respectful Gym was good and 24 hours Room service fast and got delicious food Location is good House keeping were excellent no mistakes Coffe machine in the room

- Ramzi (6/5): - Ok. I had never heard of this hotel prior to staying this stay. It was an overnight stay that was necessitated by the storm that shut down Dubai Airport. My wife knew or the hotel because it is a feature in a reality tv ahow called Dubai Bling. In any event, the lobby of the hotel is spectacular, as was the view from the upgraded room we got. It overlooked the Creek. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful...but that is a standard in a 5* hotel in Dubai or anywhere in the Middle East, for that matter. Why did I give it a 3* having said what i just did? Well, the rooms were old. They have an old style. They felt old and felt like they needed to be upgraded. Dont get me wrong, they were clean. The room we were given was spacious and had a lovely Creek view. But it did not have that consistent feeling that is young, vibrant and fresh that characterises Dubai. We also happened to have dinner in the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Frankly, the restaurant decor was awful. The chairs were coated in what was undoubtedly rich curtain-style thick fabric in a kind of 1970s bad taste. For as fresh and impressive as the lobby looked, the rest of the hotel had that rundown look. It's not a property I would stay in again, Dubai Bling or not. I suppose its depth of character is consistent with the fickleness of that reality show.
