Its a cute place for a couple to just relax easy access to the city restraunts night clubs bars malls coffee shops shopping ect If you cant handle road traffic then its quite busy around these parts you'll find that throughout most the city here unless in the bay areas or resorts.oh ya if your tall showers are built for phillipino

- Kenneth (7/5): Our 2 day stay - The staff was great. They worked hard to make you comfortable. The appliances in the first room was poor. The shower had no pressure. After changing rooms it was better. There was alot of noise and loud in the hallways at night.

- ROBERT (10/5): Great budget hotel - Room was so clean. I like the wooden floor it makes the room look elegant. Staff always cleaning the p-way and always available to render service. The hotel is walking distance to SM downtown and Harbor point. A lot of bars and restaurant around the area. Since you are situated in the middle of bars and resto expect loud music till 2 am. It can be heard inside your room but itās tolerable. We will coming back.

And all of the staff, from front desk, to housekeeping, to the front door security: everyone was kind, helpful, and accomodating.

The ONE particular receptionist who insisted that I pay more than what booking . com confirmed amount of my stay . Even blaming it on booking .com for not being consistent with the price , although I told him that I am a booking.com client for long time . The price of the extra bed was clearly written on the back of the room door ,but he still insisted on more money for it . Traveling with tired kids and handicapped husband , I didnāt argued , we wanted to rest for he will not let us check in unless I agree with the price he wants and not the booking . com Very dishonest person
- Willie (4/5): Disappointing - I like the location of the Hotel, it's close by everything From the moment I entered my room it started to go bad, I couldn't find the 1 & only electrical socket, so the front desk sent someone up , after he showed me where it was, my 3 prong electrical cord would not fit into there old 2 prong socket. So I asked for an adapter once that was put on the socket was so loose you could not get it to work. So we had to play with wires for a few minutes until we made enough contact to get power. I asked if this looses power again what should I do. They said you can plug your computer & cell phone into the bathroom socket that works fine, I couldn't believe what she had just said. Also my TV was on but no sound was coming out, the tech tried several things but to no avail finally he started to jiggle the wires & that worked so he said if it continues to lose the sound just keep jigging the wires until the sound comes back. My air-conditioner was making noise but as the days went along it was start getting louder & louder by the last 2 days if I wanted to hear what was been said on TV I had to turn off the air conditioner until it got to hot in the room then I would put it back on. Finally my solution was just to go check into another hotel which I did

- Pilar (6/5): I give credit to the service of the staff BUT Never again. - The location , it is close to shops , restaurants and stores . The free private parking for it is necessary as the hotel is located in the Main Street . No elevator . The dishonesty of the receptionist in the price says a lot to of the image of the hotel. I was at first charged 18,300 pesos , I showed the price booking .com charged me , it is 5,000 less from what heās asking . then he said ā he will verify it again , so from 18,300 , it became 12,000 something . ( nice try !) I asked for an extra bed , the price list written on the door is 450 pesos , he insisted on charging for 750 , saying that the price has changed since LAST YEAR and that he will have the price list changed . The fact that he continued to cheat on price is not only frustrating but awfully disgusting , not a good image for the hotel . We were exhausted from the driving and with a little child with us hungry and tired , I decided not to argue but told him that Iāll let booking .com knows this , he replied ā sometimes booking .com is not clear with their prices ā Iām not sure if this is how the hotel management trained the receptionist but Iāll make sure that the owner will know this . As I have mentioned, I didnāt argue due to the exhausted little child and my family but it doesnāt mean that Iāll let this receptionist get away with this . The bathroom floor towel still has marks of dirty feet from the previous guests. . Iād advice the management to tell the one cleaning the rooms ( males ) to at least close the door when they just iron the bedsheet & cover instead of replacing it . I happened to see it as I walked by to go to my family ās room . Have I seen this before checking in , I would have not stayed .

Front desk, Gretch, was great and very informative of activities in the area and went above and beyond to assist me with transportation and was probably one of the best front desk employees I have ever dealt with. Will definitely visit again.

- Edleen (10/5): My overall experience has been nothing but wonderful. - This boutique of a hotel is a hidden gem in the busy and buzzing town of Olongapo City. The location of the hotel cannot be any more perfect if you are looking to explore the city, as it is near many of the landmarks in Olongapo. A few of my favorite things at Subic Residencias is that the cleanliness of the place is incomparable! I have stayed at plenty of upscale hotels in SBMA, and let me tell you, they cannot compare to the high standard of cleanliness that SR delivers. Another great thing about this hotel is the amazing, professional, and friendly staff. Check-in experience is always a breeze, and any additional needs of their guests are always attended to. Lastly, the safety and security of the building is superb. There is a dedicated security guard who is always on watch and the front desk staff is always present as well. Overall, it is always a pleasure to stay at this hidden gem of a place.

Iām sorry but if you are going to advertise on an international website you need to met an international standard. This means you need to provide a toilet that is usable to western standards.

- Justin (2/5): - When I arrived at the hotel I smelled the aroma of incense and a slight mildew smell. After unpacking my things and falling asleep, I awoke the next morning extremely congested. I then attempted to take a shower and did not have hot water. I then decided I would check out upon my return from work. When I returned from work that evening my room had been cleaned and I began packing my things and went to check out. When I got to the front desk, they asked why I was checking out and I just explained I would rather not complain and there was nothing they could do to change my mind about checking out. The person at the front desk was polite, but mentioned something about being unable to check me out because I booked through Expedia. When I arrived at my new hotel I tried to deal with the online chat room to cancel the rest of the remaining week reservation. I could never get a response from the online chat room on Expedia's website or find a direct customer service number on their website. After a few days, I googled how to contact Expediaās customer service only to find some unhappy Expedia customers on this search, but found a number. After going through the cancellation process and being on the phone for almost an hour the customer service person said the manager at the hotel was not present and they would have to get back to me in a couple of days. 2 days later I received an e-mail denying my cancellation and charging me for another week at the hotel that I did not stay.

The staffs were very accommodating and pleasant. When we got back from roaming around the city, weād got to find a place where to park our car, unfortunately we were able to park our car far across the hotel.

Rooms are so spacious and the interiors are very fashionable, chic and trendy. The staffs are very polite and helpful. One downside of this hotel is they don't offer breakfast anyway, there are a number of restaurants around the area. Faustino E. Oguan Jr.
- istheman (2/5): Terrible - Terrible No lock box safe in room. On July 8 I had to report to hotel and police that $4,200 U.S. dollars stolen from my room in addition to room cleaners eating our snack food. Stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years without any previous problems. Hotel did not timely provide police with cctv recordings claiming they have been erased over. Other than local hotel manager no senior hotel management ever contacted me. Crime remains un-solved stay at your own riskš¢
