- Jeffrey (10/5): Great location in heart of Cavendish - We had an Executive 2 bedroom unit with porch overlooking lawn and playground. Well equipped with pine touches. Even though low season it was warm out first days so used A/C which worked good, then last day cool out so electric heat made toasty. Parking right on lawn beside cottage. Only 3 minute drive to beautiful Cavendish Cliffs lookout to see sunset. 8 minute drive to village of North Rustico for grocery store and restaurants. Nice boardwalk along harbour. Friendly receptionist. Central to explore the island. Happy with our stay.
- Orshy (2/5): - We couldn't stay the full booking, multiple eves, because the quality of the matress was unbearable and they could not offer different rooms with an adequate or different type of hard matress. We woke up in pain and were refunded for upcoming nights. I do not recommend to try. Overall, the quality of the rooms are poor, broken doors, full of spiders, toilet facing the bed 4 feet sway and tp dispenser in your rib. Disappointing. Sad decor and poor vibe.

- Kate (4/5): - Not at all the experience I had last year. This year, there were bugs in the room (gnats, earwigs, spiders, other beetles). The sheets were stained on one side. The floor and bed moved when other guests walked around outside. The bed itself was noticeably old, with one end being a crater while the other end firm. Walls were so thin you could hear people doing the nasty and folks were smoking outside my door. The pool wasn't open a single day I was there despite the weather being more than good for swimming (multiple 25+ days). Won't be staying here again.

- Karen (6/5): - Our cabin needs some TLC. The floors need leveling big time. It was bad. They need better beds and pillows. Updated cooking pots and pans also.
- Barry (4/5): - Our cabin was in poor condition. There was terrible lightning and very cold. We could not get heat from the electric units. Contacted the front desk guests services twice with questions and looking for help. Left voice mail and neither time recieved a response.
- Melissa (10/5): - Location was perfect. Very quiet and beautiful property. The PEI Welcome center is right across the street. The National Park beaches and Dune land is 5 minutes down the road. We rented an E Bike from Cavendish for the whole day. The trails we're endless, off road safe and right by the beach. We found our new home 🏡

Only negative was very low water pressure in kitchen. Also tiny soaps in bathroom. Make sure you bring your own.

- Jayne (6/5): Great location but cottage needs a refurb - These cottages are in a great location, however they could do with a bit of tlc. I appreciate these are old, but we found the cottage we were in to be worn, old beds, very slanty flooring, lights not working and very old appliances. But it did the job for a few nights once we got used to the quirks.

Would recommend requesting a separate cottage. Everything else was great. The convenience of having the kitchen & bbq was great! Overall a good stay!

- Roger (10/5): - Nice cottage complex with two clean large pools. There is a ful Kitchen (with a small fridge) and a bbq for cooking. A drip coffee maker with filters but Byo coffee. The ac was noisy but worked well which was important during the 35degree heat wave. You can walk 1km to the cliffs on a safe path to see the sunset . Bike trails to the beach are close. Lots for kids to do so the evenings were nice and quiet as the kids were tired out. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would come back but choose a 2 bedroom cottage instead of an economy one bedroom as this was very small. But it was all that was left when i booked a month ago.
- Shimako (10/5): - The place is a bit old but super clean. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to cook, but even the basic room had a little kitchenette with dishes and cookware, which was nice. The Cavendish Information Centre is right across the street, and Green Gables and the Oceanview Lookout are both just a short walk away.
- Jaime (8/5): - Our cottage was suitable for what we were looking for in PEI. It was very close to everything in Cavendish. The cottages are old and outdated but very clean. We stayed during the heat wave and the AC unit struggled to keep our space cool which did make for a tough time to sleep at night after being in the heat all day. A better AC or additional fans to help circulate the air would have been nice. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would return to this location on future visits to the island.
- Melissa (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay here—it was so peaceful and quiet. The cabin itself was stunning, spacious, and in such a perfect location for walking to so many different spots in Cavendish. The only downside was that housekeeping seemed non-existent during our three-night stay. We ran out of basics like toilet paper and soap and had to go to the front desk to restock. For a short trip it wasn’t a huge deal, but it did feel a little off. That said, this was such a small inconvenience compared to everything else. The property’s beauty, the tranquility, and the comfort of the cabin far outweighed it. We would definitely stay again!

- Nicole (8/5): - Great cottage for a few days getaway. We loved having a fridge, stove and coffee maker. It was clean and towels and toilet paper delivered every day. There was an air conditioner for the lower level but it was much too hot upstairs. Only one of the three of us could sleep upstairs. I would highly recommend putting a heat pump upstairs. The heat wave didn’t help either. Otherwise, great stay.

The porches are falling off the cabins, there are raised and broken cement around pool which is a hazard, and the playgrounds are unsafe and falling apart. for a "Family-Friendly" facility, it is very much lacking in the safety aspects to ensure children are safe playing there. Pictures also do NOT Match the rooms booked. Update needed to ensure customers know what they are purchasing!!!! My cabin was MUCH smaller and a lot less amenities and features then I thought I booked as per pictures and description on the site!! VERY MISLEADING!!!!

A woman who checked us in and a man who helped with extra coffee and batteries for a dead remote. I did meet Gloria? Upon checkout. She said they would be more than happy to have us back and we will be back soon.

- Monica (8/5): - The room we were given was in a motel type building. It was clean but very dated. The beds were okay, on the firm side. The towels were so thin and some had the stitched side removed so it was frayed top and bottom and literally looked like what you would use for rags. The bathroom door if you locked it was very hard to get unlocked to get out and the hot water was pretty non existent. But the property was very close to everything we wanted to see and staff were friendly. The room did have AC which was amazing since it was over 30 degrees the whole time there.

- Richard (10/5): - Perfect location for our visit to Prince Edward Island. Cavendish is a great town with lots to do, and our cottage was conveniently located to everything. Cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious. Floor of the cottage was slightly slanted, but that was barely noticeable. Nice pool area as well on warmer days. Within walking distance of a nice seafood restaurant and a Tim Hortons (for breakfast coffee and donuts), and about a minute drive to the Green Gables Estate. We came to PEI to bike ride, and Shining Watters is about a 2 minute ride to one of the best coastal trails on the island (and short drives to other points along the Confederation Trail.) Loved it!

Limited Parking (if the place was fully booked and if you had a pick up) but not impossible. 1 pool was closed and the play area could be updated a bit We never asked anyone but was not shampoo in the shower. There was hand soap. Perfect cabin with stove, fridge, dishwasher and table. Was very well equipped to stay. They state walking distance to ocean....its a bit of a walk but all that being said, very nice place. Very close to anything you'd want to do (by car) and very clean. I would recommend this place.
- Ashley (6/5): Nice Holiday cabin. - Check in was quick and easy. However when we got to our cabin the key didn’t work. Went back to the office and got another one, that one worked but barely, it was very finicky. The inside of the cabin is slightly outdated but it was clean and plenty of room, the bedrooms were a good size. The bathroom was also a good size. The biggest complaint we had was the issue with the hot water. When showering the water would go from the temperature you set to luke warm then boiling hot. Definitely not safe to let a child shower unattended. It was very frustrating. The playground is run down, the pool was very nice. The BBQ was clean and ready to use.

- Margaret (6/5): - We stayed in a duplex cottage which was ok, but did not having parking beside it. Had to park our vehicle on the grass across the driveway. Also the decking was older and my granddaughter ended up with at least ten splinters in her feet and hands. She’s 3 so wasn’t an issue with crawling on the deck, she just walked barefoot a few times before we realized . Staff were super nice at check-in .

- Allan (8/5): - I stayed in the motel portion for 2 nights. A couple of things that made life a little interesting were the non standard set of four steps leading up to the deck and entrance door. There was also no shampoo in the room and only those little soaps. Good job I bring my own. On a plus the pool was open the first day I was there, the water was awesome. For some reaso it wasn't open the second day, however the weather was nice but not as nice as the day before. The beds were good as well as the decor. AC unit was a bit noisy but worked well. I would come again but use a cabin.

Stayed in ING102 hot water on shower did not work. Also no designated place to smoke weed on the entire property, so wasn’t allowed, which was fine for me. But which could be an issue for someone who needs it for medical reasons.

- SanJaska (4/5): - We were booked for shining waters cabins 1 room it said. But it was a 4 unit motel at the Ingleside INN… with rock hard beds, TV didn’t work at all, and pool was closed.
- Alice (8/5): - The water was lukewarm, the heating and laundromat were not worked and the blanket was too thin, so it was cold when I slept. Anyway, it’s bearable for the environment, but it's a pity that the strong smell of detergent on the blanket is so full that my head hurts.
