Room was okay, but would not have wanted to stay - Good location, staff was nice and friendly Room was small and beds uncomfortable. Room was damp and bathroom smelled of drain, didn’t want to take a shower in the bathroom as it didn’t feel very nice.

The hotel feels quite old and outdated, and the breakfast selection was rather poor and could definitely be improved.

Keep in mind that it is a 2 star hotel. On the top floor there is a terrace with a beautiful view. We will definitely come again.

• Kathleen (9/5): We love the hotel and always stay there on our visits to Malta. - Excellent location - we go for the firework festival and the hotel's roof bar is the ideal location to see the display. the staff are always lovely and very helpful and although there is some renovation work ongoing it was never noisy or disruptive. Although its not a problem for us there are lots of steps to climb to get from the hotel to the centre but there are always lots of steps in Valletta - and there's always the lift from the waterfront if you need it.

Frühstücksbuffet standard, aber Auswahl völlig ausreichend. Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Empfehlung für Kurzaufenthalt in Valletta.

There was no lounge in the hotel, but as we were expecting a roof terrace we didn't.mind. We were very disappointed, especially as we weren't told, even on arrival If we had known this, we would not have booked the hotel.

• Bryan (5/5): Location is good, but be aware of what room you book, as internal view of courtyard means no view at - Location is really good and view from outside hotel is great. The room we were given 102 had no view and the window looked out onto the road beside hotel at ground level and so was noisy until early hours of the morning. Also the window had to be kept locked for security. There was aircon in room but couldn't get to adjust it at all.

• Jean (9/5): It was a wonderful stay. If I’m lucky enough to come back to Malta, I will stay there again - The view is fantastic. I enjoyed just sitting and looking out the window. Restaurant facilities were very nicely decorated on the last day. The rooftop Terrace opened. If it isn’t too windy that’s a great spot. The bed wasn’t great. Also, the linens seemed quite worn.

Zarezerwowaliśmy hotel z najlepszym widokiem na to wydarzenie, tam dostaliśmy pokój z najlepszym widokiem... i nie mieliśmy pojęcia, że taki festiwal ma się odbyć. No ale samo wydarzenie tak gigantyczne, że nigdy czegoś takiego nie widziałem i nie będę widział.

• warren (4/5): ROOR TOP TERRACE CLOSED - The view from the maltese balcony of the harbour was very impressive The hotel advertised a roof top terrace but this was closed for construction work. They are still advertising the roof top terrace but it is not accessible.

• keith (5/5): Not a bad choice - Good location. Good size room and bathroom. Shower was good. Staff were generally helpful. Breakfast was extensive when available. Unable to cool down the room unless we opened a window and then it was very noisy. Building air con was set to heat rather than cool. Although the breakfast was advertised as running until 10am, on one day there was hardly anything left at 9.20 and everything had been cleared away by 9.35. The hotel is at the bottom of a large hill but that is typical of Valletta as a resort.

• Joke (8/5): We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het uitzicht was prachtig en personeel vriendelijk. - Locatie en het personeel waren prima. We hebben twee kamers gehad. Een kamer met twee aparte bedden was prima. Daarna kregen we een kamer met tweepersoonsbed en die vonden we erg krap. Deze kamer had wel een nieuwere badkamer maar was erg klein.
• giullianna (10/5): it was a very pleasant experience . - we liked the convenience , and the place was clean and everything well organized , the staff was really nice , and able to help all day and night , the view is stunning , all in all a great experience . the only issue was that I also picked this establishment due the rooftop facilities advetised on the page , but when we arrived they were under construction so nobody was allowed upstairs , it was a bummer , but everything else worked out greatly.

Comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. Room was a bit dated ,pokey and soulless. Not much natural light due to side window.However this is typical of many old buildings in Malta and is fine with the lights on. Could easily be spruced up with some colour and wall prints etc. We were out all day so didn't mind.

• Dominique (9/5): Excellent séjour avec une vue inoubliable - Le plus de cet établissement est incontestablement une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et la ville; ma chambre avait une petite véranda avec une table et deux fauteuils, qui permettaient de s’installer confortablement pour voir les changements de lumière, magnifiques,sur la baie. En bas de l’hôtel au niveau de la mer, ( 3 mn à pied) il y a l’embarcadère avec les navettes rapides pour aller à Gozo ou à Victoria . La chambre est spacieuse, meublée simplement avec une grande salle de bain avec une douche à l’italienne. Petit déjeuner varié, salé et sucré. Les personnes à l’accueil sont très aimables m’ont donné de bonnes adresses de restaurants. L’inconvénient majeur de cet hôtel à mon avis, et qu’il est situé à mi distance entre la mer et les rues principales de la Valette ; ces dernières étant situées en haut d’une petite falaise ; ce qui signifie qu’il faut monter pas mal de marches pour y arriver ; donc attention pour les personnes qui ont des difficultés pour se déplacer!

Staff e pulizia delle camere eccellente. Altra nota positiva è la vicinanza alla stazione centrale degli autobus, facilmente raggiungibile in 10 minuti a piedi. Colazione a buffet ottima con grande scelta e ottima qualità La camera aveva il condizionatore molto rumoroso di notte nonostante fosse spento

• Sylvia (10/5): Fabulous hotel that exceeded all expectations. - An unpretentious small Hotel in a quiet location just off the main (busy and noisy) streets overlooking the Harbour. Our "sea view" room (201) had a large enclosed, wrap around balcony which afforded us fabulous views of the Harbour and the 3 Cities opposite. The room was clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Buffet breakfast had both hot and cold options including eggs, bacon, sausages etc, was plentiful and continuously refreshed. All of the staff were peasant, polite and very helpful. We enjoyed our it so much we extended our stay and will definitely be back! Shower cubicle was a bit small and the curtain didn't contain the flow of water. Unfortunately this meant the bathroom floor got wet. Not a big issue just a bit irritating.
