- Noel (8/5): Great value for money - Pool staff room size and good value for money and nice breakfast Gym room could be a little cleaner
- Nojus (7/5): -
- Patricia (9/5): -
- murphy963 (10/5): - The pools and the breakfast Nothing
- lynnsR2212CE (10/5): AUTUMN RELAXATION - We decided on a Fly and Flop holiday and this location hit the mark. About an hour and a half from Catania airport (private taxi included in holiday package) it was just right for us. We went for 10 days in mid-October so the hotel was not full (it closes end Oct) and there was plenty of room round the pools and loungers for everyone. The well kept gardens make this a peaceful and tranquil location 2 minutes walk from the long, sandy beach. All of the staff were most attentive to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The buffet breakfast catered for all tastes and the one evening meal we had there offered a varied selection. Otherwise, we ate out at the two restaurants within 5 minutes walk or the eateries in the town which is about 15 minutes walk.
We took a couple of day excursions to Syracuse and Castella di Donnafugata (plus Montalbano's home) and enjoyed both. A car was hired to go to Agrigento, about 2.5 hours away.
We found October to be a good time for a holiday in this lovely corner of Sicily, not too hot (about 23/24 degrees) and not crowded at all.
It is a place we would return to.
- Zammit (9/5): Mostly satisfied - The ambience was excellent, the room was always clean, sheets and towels changed regularly and everyone was ready to help. The one thing that bothered me most was during breakfast, seeing waitresses waiting by the tables to remove the empty plates as soon as you put down the fork.
- Rhys_H24 (10/5): Above and Beyond service - I am writing this review on behalf of my "octogenarian" Mother who recently stayed 10 nights at the hotel.
The hotel provided fantastic booking confirmation and best price when we booked for my mother months in advance. The airport is a long distance away and the hotel organised the best and most efficient taxi quote directly for my mother. This service and the taxi driver was excellent.
On the day of my mother leaving to Sicily, she unfortunately dropped her purse in the vehicle at Manchester Airport (purse was found and all fine) However whilst my mother had cash on her, she holds no other cards and is not reliant on her mobile phone.
Whilst my mother was flying, I contacted the hotel and Gianmarco, and his team answered all the issues and assured us there would be no issues, They took the card details and ensured every day , my mother was asked is she okay for money, do they need to draw her any money from the card held against room etc, they made a very awkward and uncomfortable situation so much better in that my Mother loved the trip even more.
My mother stayed half board, and commented that the food was amazing and plentiful. The quality and flavour of the food was spectacular in her own words. The staff could not be more obliging and helpful.
My mother said the walking was tough as a few KM's from the local town, which she managed most days despite her age, but she loved visiting the historic sites and the hotel staff made a difference which means the world to us. We are grateful.
- Scillieri (10/5): Overall I liked the resort and highly recommend it. I look forward to returning. - Breakfast was very good. Some of the staff were excellent, namely Agata (housekeeping staff). Some members at reception desk were very helpful and professional, unfortunately I don't recall their names. The rooms and grounds were excellent. The pools were excellent. Location was perfect. Dinner was bad and overpriced. Majority of reception staffed seemed like I was disturbing them when I was asking them questions. These same staff members did not help me on some specific questions such as "where can I get a bus?"

- mavgri (6/5): October2025 - Lovely hotel and pools but filthy rooms never swept or mopped bed changed once in 8 days.Man on reception extremely rude . Hotel drinks very expensive
- mariavY1469LV (10/5): A great stay - Stayed at Acacia Marina for the 1st time with my family this summer. The hotel was more than what I expected. Lovely staff, we were greeted with a welcome drink on arrival which was a lovely touch. The hotel and rooms are lovely, clean with beautiful views. We had a nice double room on the 2nd floor. They are effectively 2 hotels in one. The Acacia Marina is more for families and the Acacia Palace for over 12's. The hotels are interconnected and all can use both pools. They have a lovely wellness centre offering a welcome massage too which was nice. The reception staff were on hand to answer any questions and help us with car hire for a day and booking excursions. In the evening, a short walk across the road to lungo mare. For a beautiful sunset, head to the port. it's a great base to visit the nearby Ragusa. Ibla, Modica and Noto. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
- Scotland2468 (8/5): Good hotel - Rooms: I recommend paying a little extra for a partial seaview.
We had a very large room with large balcony with the view to the garden and the sea. Tea and coffee facilities and a nice shower. Perfect.
Some standard rooms especially at ground level had horrible balconies and view only to concrete at the back of the hotel.
Cleaner: they don't clean really. They make your bed, replenish towels, loo paper and coffee/ tea and that's it.
They didn't change the bedding for the week we stayed.
I had sand on the floor and in the bed for the whole week.
Breakfast: nice all round but no fruit salad nor fresh orange juice.
Nice swimming pool but so busy. Despite being the 3rd week of September we sometimes couldn't get a lounger in the sun.
Paid once €10 for the beach lounger but, as I only stay a couple of hours, I found it too expensive so I just then went to the normal/public beach directly on the sand.
The hotel should not charge for the beach and more people would get to the beach, freeing up loungers around the pool.
- ClaireA1924 (8/5): Don’t forget your wallet - Just returned after 11 nights in this hotel, room 503, split level with sitting room downstairs with terrace area, upstairs bathroom and bedroom with large balcony. A good space but had a problem with ants, the staff were quick to address the situation but in the end we had to buy sprays to use ourselves.
Good points of this hotel - lovely pool areas, well maintained gardens, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Close proximity to a gorgeous beach (not beachfront as advertised). Lovely breakfast with a good variety of cold food, the hot food was limited to eggs, bacon and tomatoes.
Negative points - bar prices are ridiculous €11.50 for a Bacardi & Coke (they offer a bottle of Bacardi for €60!!!!!!). A bit of a walk into town so anyone with mobility issues would need a taxi (€15). Cleaning of our room was practically non existent, same pile of dead ants in the sitting room when we arrived were still there when we left, upstairs balcony was never swept or mopped during our stay.
Overall we had a good stay here but would not return, the area is worth a visit for a few days at most, other parts of Sicily have more to offer.
Ps. 90 minutes transfer time from airport.

- Cheshunt_11 (10/5): A Quiet and Relaxing Break - We chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing. There is no organised entertainment. The pools are well maintained and the staff are always on hand to help. There is a good choice for breakfast and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I have to mention the wellness area who offer facials and massages, a great way to relax. The hotel is conveniently positioned for the beach and for a walk in to town. The beach is lovely, sandy and safe for swimming. There are plenty of restaurants in town, mostly specialising in seafood. There are no places nearby suitable for excursions, just come here to relax. I recommend flying in to Catania. Palermo is a four hour transfer.
- Riccardo (10/5): -
- Bruno (10/5): - La ubicación, piscinas, desayuno y habitación
- Zoe (10/5): - Beautiful place amazing breakfast
- Angelo (9/5): - Ottima la colazione e attenzione per i cibi glutenfree. Qualche prodotto da forno in più per i celiaci.
- Duers (10/5): - A woderful stay in this beautiful hotel. the location of the hotel is excellent just a few minutes away from the promanade and the lovley sandy beach. Part of the sandy beach is private for guests only. and one can have sunbeds and umbrella and there is a snack bar very close by. The beautiful gadens are well mantained and the 3 swimmig pools and jacuzzi are kept very clean.
The staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome rooms big and spacius and a sumptious breakfast. Will definily go back agai 10out of 10 for this fantastic hotel.
- Charles (9/5): wonderful we enjoyed it - this is a beautiful hotel andt i would definitly stay there again bed was a bit hard for my liking, breakfast not 5 star
- Emma (10/5): Enjoyed our short stay will definitely go back. - Excellent breakfast close to main road
we had a lovely enjoyable stay --staff are extremely helpfull and do thie best to make sue you have an enjoyable stay.Lovely prive beach with sunbeds and umbrella just a few minutes down the road. That they only serve food between 2 pm and 2.30 pm nothing till dinner say like a small sandwich or a snack.
- BaggyandBella (8/5): A great place to relax and recharge - The hotel
Acacia Marina and Acacia Palace are both part of the same hotel, but are separate buildings accommodation wise. Guests at both hotels have access to both pools and other facilities such as the hotel restaurant, hotel stretch of beach and bar (based in reception). All guests check in at the same reception. The hotel is a 1.5-2 hour journey from Catania airport, depending on which route your driver takes. The welcome cocktail at the hotel is delicious as are other drinks from the bar. The hotel is decorated stylishly and the planting throughout is beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is best suited to couples. It’s great for relaxing and is peaceful during the day. There were a couple of families there but mainly it was couples there during our stay.
Rooms
We stayed on the 3rd floor with lateral sea views and were very happy with our rooms. They were lovely and clean. Maria cleaned our rooms daily and she was very thorough and efficient. Rooms were cleaned early in the day which meant we were able to go for a nap in the afternoon! The air conditioning in the rooms is efficient and very welcome. Balconies each have a washing line which is useful.
One downside is that there’s little sound proofing between the rooms unfortunately so you might hear guests in neighbouring rooms. There’s also a venue nearby that plays loud music a few nights each week with loud bass that can be heard from inside the hotel rooms into the early hours. My noise cancelling headphones were a blessing in helping me get to sleep on those nights. There’s no long mirror in the rooms we stayed in, or a mirror over the dressing table/desk. Some rooms have a shower over a bath and others have just a shower. The TV offers a few English language news channels but you can’t cast content to the TV’s in the room I.e. I couldn’t stream any content from my phone using the TV in the room.
The facilities
All areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained. Some of the facilities incur an additional cost - use of the safe in your room is €2 per day. Use of the hotel’s section of the beach is €10 per room per half day which provides you with an umbrella and two sun beds. If you want another umbrella because there’s more than two people then it’ll cost you more. It’s €20 for a full day for 2 people. Occupants from each room need their own ticket for the beach from reception if they want their own sun umbrella. The sea is crystal clear and the beach is sandy so it was lovely but we found the loungers were so close together that it wasn’t relaxing at the beach. It was noisy and people were smoking which we found unpleasant as non-smokers. The umbrellas are fixed in place so one of the loungers will be in sun and one in shade. We preferred to all be in the shade so the beach set up didn’t work for us. The way the hotel owned beach operates wasn’t explained well by the hotel at all, so that could be improved. The beach arrangements felt inflexible. We found the hotel pool to be a much more peaceful and relaxing environment. There is a free public section of beach right next to the hotel section of beach. The beach gets very busy on the weekend.
Eating and drinking at the hotel
Dinner at the hotel is a buffet style offering at €35 per head which doesn’t include drinks. We found it to be pricey compared to what you can get if you walk down towards the marina (Head down the road from the hotel then right) so we only ate dinner in the hotel one night. The hotel is located a short, mainly flat walk from the centre of Marina di Ragusa where you’ll find shops and restaurants. We loved the Marina area because it felt safe. People of all ages were enjoying the Marina together, locals and tourists. It feels very safe. The pavements and roads surfaces surrounding the hotel are patchy and cracked so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues in my opinion.
Lunch at the hotel is served in the bar area. A folded wrap with a filling is €10 per serving and is very tasty but when you add on drinks it adds up quickly so we made use of the supermarket which is 100m down the road. They sell ready prepared sandwiches or bamboo cutlery if you want to make your own lunch in your room. Hotel rooms do have a small fridge so it’s worth buying drinks and potentially lunch too. We bought plenty of drinks at the bar but supplemented with drinks from the supermarket to ensure we were properly hydrated.
Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. It’s a buffet. The granola is delicious. Tip - look for paler pastries as the dark coloured ones are a little dry.
Costs
With the tourist tax, use of the safe’s in two rooms and the food and drink we put on our tab over 11 days we spent €529 for 3 adults.
Day trips costs from around €90 per person per day upwards which we thought was expensive. Due to the distance of the hotel from other areas there can be lengthy travel time for trips. For this reason we found the hotel to be better suited for those who plan to stay at the hotel to lounge by the pool each day and relax. The hotel is close to the Marina but not much else on Sicily so whilst we really enjoyed our stay, it’s not somewhere we’re likely to visit twice as we’ve seen it all during our one stay.
I read reviews before I stayed and it’s clear the hotel has taken onboard comments from reviews and is continually improving. We really enjoyed our stay.
- hb14810 (8/5): Highly recommend! - We have just returned from a week’s stay at the Acacia Marina. It was a lovely hotel in a peaceful, traditional Italian town. There is not much to do in the town, which we were fully aware of and happy with, but you may want to consider this if you enjoy a more lively holiday.
We had a superior room which was a great size, with a nice balcony and a comfortable bed. The room had lots of storage which was fantastic. The AC in the room was AMAZING which was so needing in the Italian heat.
We had access to two pools, with plenty of loungers available every day, and a lifeguard on duty during the day. Although I loved the pools, I would say that towards the end of my stay, I began to notice that the slabs and stairs to the larger pool were quite dirty and didn’t seem to be cleaned. I did see the actual pool being cleaned each night though. At times, the loungers could also be uncomfortable as you couldn’t adjust the back height- you could only move the back from completely flat to up.
The private beach was great - €20 for a day (2 loungers & an umbrella). You could get drinks at the nearby beach club and bring them to your loungers.
Breakfast had lots of options - lots of cold foods, and eggs made fresh to your taste. We ate lunch in the hotel once, and this was delicious and reasonably priced. Drinks at the hotel bar were pricey, and more expensive than local bars and restaurants, but high-quality branded spirits were always used in the cocktails. The bar staff were lovely.
We also treated ourselves to a couples massage in the hotel spa which was fantastic and only €130 for a 55 minute massage each, which I thought was reasonable.
I would highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again if returning to Sicily.
- jaimemF5214DH (6/5): Nice little break - Hotel and area was lovely. Very pretty overlooking the sea . Breakfast was nice, lots of cakes. Evening meal was average. Lots of fish. Food very dry. No beans with breakfast and no options of sauce for lunch/dinner. Pool was lovely, very relaxing. Ideal if your looking to relax and a short break. Not ideal for families with young children, no entertainment. Within walking distance to beach and marina with lots of bars and restaurants, around 10 minute on foot.
- Alessio (10/5): Exceptional -
- kevinmP2736KM (6/5): Good hotel in plesant but isolated resort - Acacia Palace is a decent hotel in a lovely but relatively isolated resort of Ragusa di Marina. Situated on Sicily's south eastern coast, it sits on a sequence of peaceful beaches that run for miles, backed by restaurants, beach bars and eateries etc..
It is reasonably priced; beers, coffees etc to be had for €3/5..fine meals for two with wine at €30/40 per head. There are cafes and food stalls which are cheaper. Great if you love fish. I'd say it's essentially an resort that is mostly a for locals and people from the mainland, who have, or rent, holidays homes.
The Hotel is well presented with a plate glass and cool white bar/restaurant/reception area looking out on neat, well maintained garden and landscaping with two pools; one a small(12 meters or so) infinity pool & and a more jagged geometric pool based on 25m, I'd say.
There is a large second restaurant and seating area where a breakfast buffet is served and when we were there, an evening one as well, on four of the seven nights.
The buffets are OK, plenty of choice but not as good as the 'four course' meals served in the smaller restaurant on the first three nights, which were among the best holiday meals I'd been served.
The restaurant staff were lovely and genuinely concerned to make sure you had the best time.
The rooms were airy and comfortable, plenty of storage etc.
But, as I say it is relatively isolated place. If 7 days on the same beach and hotel pool suits, great, but if you want to get out and about to see attractions on this fascinating and history laden island,I'd pick somewhere closer to Syracuse, Catania or Palermo.
Sicily is bigger than you think..5,000 sq km's larger than Wales.. and it's public transport system outside these places is rubbish, there are hardly any buses or rail lines and what you get is infrequent. Taxis are thin on the ground and expensive.. a twenty minute drive to the nearby town of Scicli(very nice)..there was no bus... was €60 return and it took and hour to get one.
The hotel don't market excursions very well, and what they do will cost you... a trip to the Valley of Temples, over two hours in a mini bus or van ..with guide €95, Syracuse, ride only 90mins and €65.
Overall happy with my week, will definitely return to Sicily but somewhere else..what i saw on my day trip to Syracuse was amazing!
- GoPlaces43571913472 (6/5): Very quiet, great if you want to just relax by the pool. - Very secluded, nothing much to do, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you just want a peaceful experience.
No entertainment or private beach, the pool is a good size and well serviced.
I didn’t think the it was particularly good value for money, the room was adequate, the meals were a la carte which had a choice or 3 starters and 3 main course which one on each course was vegetarian and the first course was normally something with pasta. You will also find that if you stay for over a week the menu rotates and repeats itself. The courses were reasonable but not good value for money. I would advise B&B as we found a lot of people ate out even though they were on half board. The drinks are a bit pricey from the bar.
I can’t fault the service the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. A special mention to Florentino, Natalie and Vanessa who really looked after us. The cleanliness was good however there was room for improvement in the apartment.
There are no amenities, entertainment or activities.
- Karl (8/5): Very good - very good breakfast, perfect location and friendly staff. Hot tubs were not working all the time due to malfunction. Also this hotel should have it's own car as taxis were not always available.
- Duncan (8/5): Very good -
- Berezniak (9/5): Superb -
- triptriphooray23 (6/5): Pretty hotel, very small. - This review is based on our experience and comparative to other hotels we have stayed at.
Best Thing About This Hotel:
I really liked the granola selection and wide variety of seeds/ nuts.
Good Features:
Pretty outdoor areas with beautiful flowers (especially the jasmine)
Good pool facilities- 2 pools, showers, sunbeds, jacuzzi
Lovely large beds with ample pillows
Restaurant staff and servers all very polite and conversational
Majority of staff speak English very well
Walk in shower
Rooms cleaned well/ tidied daily
Selection of toiletries and fluffy white towels provided in rooms
Buffet food- although the chef will make a dish each evening and eggs each morning if you are happy to wait.
Poor Features:
The showerhead in our room needed replacing as was mouldy and rusty
Some maintenance issues- loose tiles, broken stair tiles with jagged edges, bathroom door sticking, etc
Lack of significant variety in food and wasn't labelled well- especially for dietary requirements like vegan/ vegetarian
Every small thing has a cost- the safe, the 'private' beach, water
Only get one pool towel per holiday (for beach use as well)- yuk!
No mini bar, or water given in rooms
No little extras/ gestures like in other hotels (such as daily water, fruit, etc)
The woman on customer service SCREAMED at my husband when he asked for water and a blanket (there's no duvet in the rooms, only a sheet). It was VERY shocking. She told him to go to a supermarket. Then took 4 hours to get a blanket delivered to the room- and he had to go ask again. She couldn't have been more unhelpful or volatile. We thought it was a culture thing, but no one else behaved in this manner.... and as a paying guest, i'd rather go somewhere where the staff do not do this.
Would I return to this hotel? An easy no, thanks to being screamed at.
Other information:
There are two airports in Sicily- both have a long transfer to this hotel- but Catania is closest.
Ragusa Ibla is the nearest big old town (20 min bus) and is a wonderful trip to make. Check bus times because they change seasonally. Taxi is about 35 euros.
The local beach is about a minute away and is STUNNING, with golden sand and no pebbles. There are a few water sport options.
There are cheaper sunbed options if you walk towards the town. The hotel charges 20 euros a day, for this you get an area on the beach set out for the hotel. It has a toilet (ish!), a showerhead, sunbeds with parasol and a lifeguard. But it is not their private beach.
The hotel is small, so offers small choice compared to other hotels you may have stayed at. Lots of repetition- with leftover dinner coming out at breakfast, etc. Not all food is labelled easily, so lots of questions/guessing.
There are lots of local restaurants, shops, cafes, tour bookings, etc towards the harbour- about a 10 minute walk to the right or the seafront.
A large supermarket is 2 mins away from the hotel.
Lots of mosquitoes- especially by any still water (ie, the hotel pool)
Be prepared for all the cake- it even dominates breakfast!
Shops and cafes began to shut down on 1st October
For us, it was still hot end of september (mid 20's)
- Robert (9/5): A really pleasant experience all round - Breakfasts were outstanding - a huge variety, with something for everyone. There were pretty good choices for the buffet dinners as well and these changed every evening. The desserts were absolutely out of this world. Two excellent swimming pools to choose from. The nearest beach with its fine golden sand and bar/restaurant was only a few minutes walk away. You could also eat at any of several local restaurants a bit further away, still within walking distance. The grounds of the hotel are breathtakingly Mediterranean and tropical - wonderfully scented. Plenty of public areas in which to relax with a drink. The only problem with the buffet dinners was that the system used for keeping the food hot was fairly useless, so when you selected your meal it was already lukewarm or even cold.
The music that was being played all day around the hotel was pretty weak and slushy. Some might call it "romantic" but it was definitely not rock'n'roll! Even when a song was recognisable, it was rarely the original version. The music played in the bar in the evening was marginally better.
- Ri (9/5): Superb -
- Izabela (10/5): Great place - Beautiful hotel, great pool, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Very tasty breakfast
- Val (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): Overall, it was great but the rooms were a little tired looking. - Pool area was great. Breakfast was good. The staff at breakfast and at the bar were wonderful - very friendly. The quality of the rooms didn’t match the photos on Booking.com.
- M6195HSjohnb (10/5): Lovely Hotel and Resort - Transfer although booked shared coach with TUI was just us so effectively private on a mini bus, still took over 90 mins, would naturally be longer on a bus either multiple drop offs.
Acacia Palace and Acacia Marina same reception not sure you can say they are different hotels, just parts of the same one.
Wi-Fi free and a good signal.
Safe- man has to come and enable it. About €2 a day payable on checkout.
Air con quiet and effective.
Plugs! Our normal European ones didn’t fit. Hotel very kindly provided an adapter to fit between the socket and our adapter.
Drinks in Hotel - This is their Achilles heel. Really expensive. Once or twice a day the staff will ask if you want a drink. Did it once 3/4 pint of beer €7 and an iced coffee came with a €2 additional service charge. For balance supermarket “MD” 5 min walk very cheap, can of beer €.79, bottle of wine (no idea of what it is like) €1.40 There is also a fridge in the room….
Sunbeds - no issues at any time of the day. They also have an adjustable canopy, which was lovely in the heat and something we’ve not seen before.
Private beach area costs about €20 for two beds and a brolley. Payable on checkout. There is a toilet for users of the private hotel area.
English - all English speakers in hotel front of house staff, go into the resort, maybe not the case.
Excursions - Fantastic!
We went on the Noto / Marzameni / Portopalo trip, wanting to see more of the island. Booked via the hotel, with only hotel guests on our trip, we went first to Noto, met by a guide with approx 45 minute tour of the city, with another 30 plus minutes on your own. Quick stop at Marzameni, 20 mins, not sure why this is on the itinerary and then an even shorter stop at the the very southernmost part of the island the very pretty Portopalo. Half day trip start at 0800 and dropped back the the hotel by 1400, we thought the €65 was worth it.
Night trip to Scicli beautiful town about 25 minutes away.
Bus to Ragusa
Hotel will tell you were the stop is, just 200m off the main square. Worth a visit but be warned lots of steps! 5€ return per adult for the 30 min trip.
Outside the hotel
Restaurants- good menus scan using QR code, and pay inside they don’t come to you, found this out on night two thinking don’t they want our money!
Scooters
I’ve not been on a scooter in 50 years, but gave it a bash here. Use the Elerent app and then hop on to take you into the centre or beyond. Great fun!
In summary my wife wanted an authentic Italian experience. This ticks all the boxes. Want a hotel and resort not full of Brits wanting the UK experience then this is perfect. Highly recommend.
Tip learn some Italian and familiarise yourself with Google Translate.
- rosentel (8/5): Helpful staff, good location - We arrived late in the evening not feeling chirpy due to a delayed flight and aggravation at Catania airport car hire. We were welcomed by a cheerful lady who explained all the details of the hotel and gave us a map of the area. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice, there's seating areas outside as well as tables within. There's an excellent use of mirrors giving a feeling of space to the room and hallways. Our room was well equipped with everything that we needed, the bed was a good size and comfortable. We had a large bathroom with shower, bidet etc the washbasin was big with a large mirror above. We had plenty of storage space with large sliding door wardrobes and ample cupboards. We had a balcony complete with a table and chairs, plus a great view towards the sea. There's a family swimming pool as well as one for adults only both with ample sunbeds and sunshades. The bar has a good selection of beverages, the staff are very friendly and efficient, they also circulate around the pool taking orders for drinks during the afternoon. There's secure parking with an electric coded gate, all in all we had a very comfortable two week stay here.
- Gerard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (6/5): Clean but there was also a power outage - Clean and peaceful environment great for relaxing. Friendly staff and spacious pools. You can only get food within certain hours, so do not sleep through breakfast. The electricity went in the town but the hotel does not have ots own generator. No aircon, lights, and we could not charge our devices for 11 hours. My partner sleeps with a CPAP machine for medical reasons and was unable to do so due to the power outage. We were told by locals these power outages happen regularly but don't usually last as long.
- Salvatore (8/5): Very good - Very close to the beach Nothing
- Norman (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valentina (9/5): Amazing hotel. Friendly staff and great location! -
- Giovanni (8/5): Nice place to stay in Marina di Ragusa - The breakfast was amazing, the pool too, the position and the courtesy of the staff It might happen as it was a ground floor room, we found a cockroach in the wardrobe… for an hotel where you pay will it was not expected.
Furthermore the service to get the extra food was not included (I’m not complaining to pay the food but the fact you had to pay just to bring a coffee).
The entrance to the private beach was not included, you had to pay extra money
- Dave (9/5): Superb - Nice comfortable room, lovely friendly staff, perfect quiet location An extra charge to change the pool towels
And charge to use the beach
- Davide (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Very good and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family - Lovely setting, room and facilities The coffee at breakfast. Even more of a shame as the rest of the breakfast was fantastic
- Josianne (10/5): It was perfect they welcome us with welcome drink .breakfast with lots of choice of food 😊 - Every thing it was perfect Noting
- hilarysT6224GU (10/5): Fabulous hotel - We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this fabulous hotel. We stayed in a superior room with limited seats views and couldn't fault it. The whole hotel was very well kept. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. In particular Florentine. The food was amazing and we were very lucky in that we were treated to a 4 course a la cart menu every evening. The pools were kept very well maintained if a tad cold. The surrounding area was only just opening up as it was just the start of the season. But that was just a bonus for us as it wasn't too busy. The beach was just across the road from the hotel and there was a leisurely 20 minute walk to the main town and the marina where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed ourselves and will hopefully be back soon. Many thanks
- Rafferty (9/5): As a solo traveller for a few days while attending a wedding, the rooms, breakfast and adult pool area all excellent - From the moment you arrived the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is right beside the beach and Marina Di Ragusa main square is a lovely 10 minute walk down the promenade
- Dominic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (9/5): Was a good relaxing holiday - Location is central walking distance to the beach and main square
- Daniele (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (10/5): Great location and hotel! - Great location, close to beach and not far from historic old town. Lady on reception was very helpful, courteous and professional. Very large swimming pool which is also well maintained.
- Paul (10/5): The resort was so complete. We almost didn’t visit the town of Marina di Ragusa. - The stay was spectacular! The staff pay attention in the minimum details from the orchids on the tables to the large breakfast selection. The swimming pool is really clean and a lot of fun. The ambiance was so beautiful we forgot where we were. The variety of trees and flowers made us feel like we were in a fairytale. Safe secured parking was a bonus.
- Vittoria (10/5): Exceptional - A simply beautiful location with great facilities and staff. It is highly recommended.
- Ivan (9/5): Superb -
- 249garyc (8/5): Good hotel and well located - We had a late summer 10 day stay here and it was very relaxing.
The room was reasonably large and the bed nice. Shower over the bath only had a small screen and it did spray about a bit. Air con was effective but not very powerful, fortunately the hotel (unlike most) already have a keycard in the slot so it can be left running 24hrs which means returning to a cool room.
Pool area was nice and clean and when we were there, very relaxed. The hot tubs were a nice touch and the lifeguard/attendant always on the ball checking and cleaning things.
As it was very late season, the hotel was quiet and this gave it a very relaxed feel, while the main bar was closed, the reception bar was nicely appointed and the service from the staff was friendly and fun.
Breakfast was a buffet style with a call order for omelettes, bacon etc and nice, but like most Italian hotels, the juices are sweetened.
Location was about perfect. The private beach is a two minute walk away and the beach itself was clean and had gently shelving sand so ideal for kids. Town is a 10 minute walk and as long as your visit is before the 'farewell to summer' event, all the restaurants were open, though they do like their fish :)
Overall, a relaxing stay and if I went back, I would stay here.
- Michael (9/5): Great hotel with great service . - Stay was perfect and this is definately the best place to stay in Marina di Ragusa. Room was large and very comfortable, breakfast was great and hotel pools were a great place to relax. Staff was super helful and friendly all thoughout our stay. Hotel is meters away from a beautiful beach
Not the cheapest option but well wort the additional cost. In my opinion the best place to stay in Marina di Ragusa Lunch time menu was very basic
- Rob (8/5): Very good -
- Pauline (8/5): we really enjoyed our stay - We liked the pool and the close proximity to the beach. The breakfast was good too. when we arrived the toilet bowl was dirty but when we called up the reception and told them about it, they immediately took care of it.
