Guest Reviews
- Anandkumar (1/5): This is one of the oldest properties I have stayed in. The room size was very small, and no clean, - Nothing to say more, The worst Property. I stayed at this property for two nights,(16th may to 18th May) and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Even though the hotel is very expensive, it is absolutely not worth the price. I would not recommend anyone to book this property, as even a normal ₹2000 hotel would offer much better service and comfort. The food was also very bad and disappointing
- Deepthi (3/5): Not upto tonthe mark of a 5 star hotel for the charged amount - Staff courtesy Room quality and the restaurant prices were too high and portion size is very minimal
Towels were not clean and service took a lot of time. It was no where near to a 5 star hotel
- Mishra (10/5): It was a great stay with the exceptional beautiful view of the sea - The location is amazingly beautiful No pickup and drop service included even after so much amount

- abhilasha (4/5): -
- Iyer (5/5): chalta hai, good we stayed only for 1 night for the purpose of visiting the Cellular Jail - human service was good but a little overbearing taste, variety etc

- Mongia (9/5): I loved my 6 night stay in this property - Their rooms and Hospitality by the staff Food and beverages are over priced
- Edward (2/5): -
- sanjeev (4/5): - Stay was not worth for money No fresh food , complimentary breakfast was poor
- Bina (3/5): Not satisfactiry - Not ITC standard. Very poor maintenance hotel needs to be renovated.
- Sherine (1/5): - Nothing in particular The hotel rooms, the toilet, the towels the amenities were dirty... I was nauseated in the room.
- Umang (10/5): -
- Anjani (10/5): -
- Christian (1/5): Vermit and Smell: far from a 5-Star Hotel - Location next to the sea, friendly staff Not even close to a 5-Star hotel.
It was dirty with vermit eggs all over the room and the smell of paint to hide the mold in the corners. The breakfast room smelled like a barn (DISGUSTING ! You might throw up smelling it) due to probably old milk in the coffee mashine and curd stains on floor and walls.
Overall the hotel is super old and the rooms are very small and DIRTY!! It looks like the Hotel has a renovation backlog of 30-40 years they just over paint, nothing like on the pictures!!! Also be careful children can stay free but the additional bed might be additional charge!!!
If you booking port Blair go to the SeaShell Hotel next door.
- Sharad (4/5): -
- Arun J. Deori (9/5): -
- Heidi (8/5): - Friendly staff, swift check-in, lovely view from the windows and breakfast area terrace. As we did not have a balcony, we could not open our window. No outside space to dry clothes after kayak /swim
Also, would be nice to have 2 chairs, so we could both relax

- Andreas (4/5): -
- Abhishek (10/5): -
- Albert (1/5): Big disappointment - Nothing, it was appalling. Unacceptable price-quality. It's definitely not ITC level. Rooms were damp, facilities badly aged, location underwhelming, food below expectations. All in all very bad. I'm sorry for the language but it felt like a rip off.
- George Benjamin (7/5): Great location, Great staff but not great food, over priced - The staff were amazingly awesome, one of the best, attention to detail, nothing which was asked was missed out like transport, room service, Abay in resturant was very good.
Room was ok, nice but not worth for the price point, even for Christmas season. There are some exception was that reception the staff who checked me in informed that I did not have all three meals package and had to wait in the reception till it was sorted out later not great, another couple had the same issue as well during my check in process
The food was not great, though there was Full roast Turkey for Christmas, full fish fry for some odd reason was not great and Lunch and Dinner was almost same menu with minor changes, same desert.
Breakfast was good though.
- Guneet (10/5): - Location best
- Sehgal (8/5): -

- Izabela (10/5): -
- Umang (10/5): Excellent Property Amazing Service - The Property is on top of a hill amongst a lot of greenery with a good view of the water.
Food is excellent both in breakfast also dinner.
Staff is Courteous, very helpful! Only con is that the rooms are little small.
- Bharat (8/5): -
- Choksi (8/5): Special mention for Manish chef and Rajeev and Nadeem who took excellent care of us - The old trees caught your breath
Very neat and clean on the pathways
Housekeeping was excellent service Need more different restaurants
- Christopher (1/5): Terrible and overpriced. Not value for money. - The fish tank Greeting:
After travelling many hours with my family, I had reached and instead of being greeted at a hotel reception to the standard of ₹25,000 a night stay,,,
I was greeted with a toxic amount of questions on who am I, why am I here, Visa, passport, ID, age, DOB, email, address, telephone number, adhaar card, shoe size
…
It was grossly over the top, unwelcoming and unjustified.
Passport and visa should just Be sufficient to support check in.
And - they lied about upgrading my room.
- Saumitra (7/5): -
- Khan (6/5): - Location For the price, the services offered were below average. Lot of missing amenities. Expected better!

- Posco (10/5): - I was there for couple of days and overall had a great time. Food was good. Service was quick and the stay went quite smooth without any issues.
- Seervi (9/5): Damdaar - We liked all and everything but the cost of food is something high if it reduces less it would be gud to have foods inside the hotels Almost everything it's superb overalll
- Shreyas (5/5): - The property is in a good location, with good view Restaurants are bad, limited options and very average taste
Room size is quite small
- Arvindh Raj (9/5): - They were exceptionally good with their service and cleanliness. There was never a NO for anything that was requested for and the food was also excellent.
- Anna (8/5): - 1. Вкусно кормят, но дорого по сравнению со всей Индией
2. Басейн и территория красивые 1. Выходить курить нужно за территорию отеля, очень неудобно
- Suganthy (10/5): Good - Can update the hotel a lot. Room curtains are not clean & not hung properly. The lace curtains were terrible.
But the all the Staff are so good.
- Prajwal (10/5): Great location, great views and exceptional hospitality - The staff and hospitality was excellent especially Mr. Bala Murugan, Sanjana, Sneha and Ayantika
- Cyrus (9/5): Wonderful property in Port Blair. - Excellent property. Very caring staff. Would like to specially mention Baljeet Kaur who was involved so closely and with so much of attention to our requirements. She made our stay so memorable, and did it with warmth and genuine care for her guests.
- Pallavi (7/5): -
- pou (8/5): -
- Krishna (5/5): Never coming back - Great views from the room. 1. The rooms were so small. I was in one of the more expensive rooms and it was still the same case. So tiny and cramped.

- Avinash (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasmina (10/5): Exceptional - This is a beautiful property overlooking the sea.
The staff especially Sneha at the front desk and Sangeeta went out of their way to make every thing special.
The rooms were clean.Tge breakfast had plenty of choices for vegetarians and hot preparations as well.
- Amit Kumar (4/5): - Stayed at ITC Welcomhotel, Port Blair, for 2 nights. The staff was nice and the service was on time, but the overall experience was disappointing.
We were first given Room 104, which had a clogged bathroom drain. Got shifted to Room 112 – cleaner, but no view at all, even though the adjacent rooms had a great view. We asked for a better room, but nothing was available.
Amenities were very basic. The bar felt dead – I went twice and didn’t see a single guest there. Funny enough, I met other guests from the hotel at the SeaShell rooftop – seems like everyone was looking for a better vibe.
Later, I stayed at Symphony Samudra and met people who had cancelled their Welcomhotel stay to move there. This was my second visit to the Andamans, and honestly, this hotel didn’t live up to the expectations. Wouldn’t stay here again.

- Arup (10/5): Exceptional - Staffs were the best. Sangeeta, Debangshu were so helpful. Bala provided us with an upgraded rooms with a view which we liked. Too much construction renovation happening. The bed was queen sized. Would had liked king sized. Rest everything were great.
- Gokhularaj (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Nice staff Very small rooms. Not value for money. 15k per night for 8x8 room..!! And too many stairs from rooms to restaurant or other activity places
- Mandar (8/5): Very good - Lovely hotel in Port Blair
- Shalini (9/5): Superb -
- Arvind (5/5): Passable - Location and courteous staff Small rooms, cleanliness, renovation work
- Arup (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the people here. So helpful. Ayantika, Sneha, Sangeeta. Debangshu... always willing to help. With suggestions and also made our stay comfortable.
- Harsh (10/5): Exceptional - View and staff behavior we like most Beds
- Sanjay (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sanjay (8/5): Very good -
- Balachander (7/5): Good - Well located. Staff is helpful. The design is unique. The food was awful and terribly overpriced. The hotel has only a buffet option while the inroom dining is deliberately made so expensive that most would prefer the buffet. For the money that was charged, the quantity and quality was abysmal. Please fix this ! The rooms are also fairly small and even though is supposed to fit 2 adults and 2 kids features a tiny bed. I never got a replacement or an extra cot despite asking for it multiple times
- Manju (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel view and place is good but need maintenence and renovation for it to show as a star hotel... Bathroom fitting were old and broken
- Malhotra (9/5): Superb - Staff and property .
- Jayanta (10/5): A comfortable and happy stay - Location, cleanliness
- Shashikiran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarbani (9/5): A blend of comfort and class - The property is very good, impeccably clean, good staff. I loved the rooms, though we did not get the sea view rooms which were as we were told, premium ones, at much higher prices. It’s located in a very nice central area while maintaining a very exclusive and private ambiance. I liked most of the things, but the breakfast menu was a bit wanting, not exactly matching the quality of a five star facility. Same applies to the buffet menu for lunch or dinner. Also, during peak hours, it felt a bit short staffed as waiting for cleaning the tables was long. But the staffs were nice and tried their best to cater to the requirements of the guests.
- Harminder (6/5): - Was a nice hotel for port blair and one of the few with a pool in a central location. For some reason tbe pool closed at 5 everyday
- Agarwal (7/5): Good - Location was good Too much mosquitos, food was very expensive and still didn't taste good, overall - not a good value for money
- Narasimha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Narasimha (9/5): We had good time. Nevertheless the facilities needs an upgrade. Let’s say the Kids area or the heated pools. While the e - Location, staff
- Balram (5/5): Passable - Location , deck views . Staff was not polite , and need more training to be more polite ..one person even start touching me in evening while instructing me some thing . Body touching is not acceptable in many cultures , I don’t how they come working in 5 star hostel. .
Hotel pool was not clean
Rooms privacy is little compromised as one can peep in each others office
Bathroom plumbing is little old
