• MATHEW (4/5): Not worth the money! - Nice place. Second time there. It is not really a Beach Hotel. The we arrived there was only lukewarm water. The next day, only cold water.
• CONOR (4/5): Not the place I knew... - Most disappointed on my second stay here. Booked because last time (6 months ago) was a great place to stay plus excellent service and reataurant. Sadly, lacks atmosphere, menu totally scaled back, service when had, good, but invariably hard to get. Place definitely is needing attention as seems management are letting what attracted me to this place, erode fast. Doubt i shall return here again! Real shame!

• Rosemary (6/5): Sprucing up necessary - The staff were very friendly, jolly and efficient. Service was very good. However, the room(s) need some sprucing up, the bedsheets were old and overused, needing to be replaced like yesterday. The bed was clean but the mattress had seen better days and there was water leaking from the ceiling when the shower was opened.

• Najib (10/5): Great place to stay - It is a great peaceful and beautiful place Very good and clean rooms All staff there are very helpful and professional I had a great amazing time there in a deluxe room . Mattress was good but not excellent but the housekeepers were very helpful to take care of any complain Breakfast was good with many food options but all these options were not the best I recommend highly this hotel in spite my little negative things about it
• Tsai Tong (8/5): - The hotel was within walking distance to the beautiful Bamburi Beach. The rooms were clean and AC worked wonderfully. Mosquito net was also provided. Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel made the trip memorable. Wifi was not the most stable but the staff did troubleshoot quickly and helped out. Breakfast had lots of variety yet quality can be improved.

Meinen Urlaub vom 14.11.21 bis 02.12.21 habe ich im ihrem Hotel sehr genossen Angefangen vom frühen Check-In bis zum Check-Out Besonders gefiel mir: Das herzliche Auftreten des gesamten Kahama`s Team. Angefangen von der Managerin, die jeden Tag durch das Hotel ging auf alle Details achtete und notfalls sofort für Abhilfe sorgte wenn etwas nicht in Ordnung war, zudem begrüßte sie die Gäste die sie auf ihrem Rundgang traf. Ihre Bürotür stand für jeden offen, dafür meinen Respekt. Die Damen von der Rezeption immer lächelnd und hilfsbereit, jeder Zeit ansprechbar und wenn es ein Problem gab wurde sofort Abhilfe geleistet. Meinen Respekt dafür!Das Team von der Frühstückscrew: ihr Tag begann recht früh damit die Gäste ab 7:00h morgens frühstücken konnten, Extrawünsche wurden erfüllt, das Frühstück war reichhaltig, frisch und abwechslungsreich. Auch hier für meinen Respektfür die tolle Arbeit.Die Poolboys sorgten für die Sauberkeit des Pools, der Anlage und den Gärten der Anlage immer Tip Top, zusätzlich zu sauberen Handtüchern auf den Liegen und dabei immer freundlich. Meinen Respekt auch hierfür.Das Hauskeeping: Tägliche Reinigung des Zimmers, immer frische Handtücher und als ich mal krank war, haben sie zusätzlich zu ihrer Arbeit nach mir geschaut, ob es mir gut geht.Meinen absoluten Respekt dafür. Nicht zu vergessen das Team der Sicherheitsleute, sehr engagiert, freundlich, hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich zu jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt. Meinen Repekt und Dankbarkeit

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war gut, teilweise wurde sogar noch ein 2. mal am Tag gewischt, falls man Witterungsbedingt den Boden verschmutzt hat. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch immer um Lösungen bemüht. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, mal tropft es da dann klemmt es hier... darauf könnte im allgemeinen mehr Wert gelegt werden
• Lars Ole (8/5): En afrikansk oase - Mindre lokalt ejet hotel i swahili stil. Virkeligt pænt og rent. Flot værelse i swahilistil. Imødekommende, smilende og meget sødt personale. Har en politik om at hjælpe unge fra lokalområdet til et job og de gør det godt. Vi boede der i 5 dage og tog så på safari i 3 dage. Da vi kom tilbage for en enkelt overnatning mere, var det ligesom at komme hjem til sin familie igen. Vi tog videre og senere manglede vi transport og kontaktede hotellet igen for at høre om de kunne hjælpe os. Det kunne de selvfølgelig. Hotellet ligger 3 minutters gang fra stranden og lige udenfor porten er det rigtige afrika på godt og ondt. Fattige mennesker i små hytter men vi følte os trygge alligevel. Selve hotellet har et højt sikkerheds niveau med port vagter døgnet rundt. Dejligt poolområde og en bar/ restaurant på grunden. Kan larme lidt fra fodboldkamp i tv eller på visse aftener livemusik. Vi boede der i julen og julemorgen havde julemanden været der og hængt en julesok på vores dør med små træfigurer med vores navne udskåret i og lidt guf. Vi blev helt rørte men sådan var de bare hele tiden. God morgenbuffet fra tidligt om morgenen og ellers mad og drikke til absolut rimelige priser. Det var vores første uge på en 3 ugers rundrejse på kenya kysten og vi nød det meget. Meget ægte kenya oplevelse.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - I have been many times to this hotel over the past 8 years but on this occasion it was not up to its previous good standard. The safe in the room could not lock and I reported it everyday and each time the answer was the technician is off today it will be fixed tomorrow. As you know tomorrow never comes, equally the safe was not fixed for the duration of my stay. The light in the bathroom above the wash basin took 5 days to be fixed (needed a new bulb). The wash basin was not emptying and overflowed if you did not watch it and turn off the taps. Just cleaning your teeth was enough to cause overflow. That was still not fixed when I left. Overall a disappointing experience after all my good times at this hotel
• Mathieu (8/5): Good value for money - We stopped at this hotel late at night and the staff was very welcoming. They helped us with our luggage and made sure that our room was perfect. I recommend this hotel for a quick stop in Mombasa before heading to Diani Beach.
• Andrus (6/5): - Hotel was good, but the service in the bar/restaurant bad. We got our food order in average after 1 hour waiting time. The food was not good as well. Live music in the other hand in the bar was very good.

• Christian (10/5): - Das Hotel hat alles was man braucht. Auf dem zimmer einen safe,ventilator,aircon,riesiges bett mit moskitonetz,kühlschrank,tv und natürlich bad mit großer Dusche. Zum Shopping Center ist es nicht weit und der Strand ist in der nähe. Super abendprogramm mit größtenteils leckerem essen und reichlicher Auswahl an Getränken zu einem akzeptablen Preis in der angrenzenden sportsbar die auch viele Sportveranstaltungen wie Fußball, golf,rugby usw. zeigt.

Lots of cool artwork in the hotel, that had a resort feel. Also, the sports bar next door serves great food, with a fun staff, and great music.

• Dom (10/5): Awesome place - The hotel has a relaxed vibe, no rules or regulations so you're made to feel at home as soon as you arrive. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help. Rooms are clean and modern and the mbusi choma (goat) is fresh and delicious. Easily the best place that I've stayed at on the coast and I'll definitely be heading there again when I'm back in Kenya. And to top it all off the rates are reasonable. Kamaha rocks 🤘🇰🇪🇰🇪
• Julia (10/5): Great place but beware of some of the employees - It was excellent except for when the fan stopped working in my room. The employee told me it would be the next day before it could get fixed. She didnt even try to check batteries in the remote. When i asked to be moved to another room she started grabbing all my stuff and throwing it in my suitcase!!! Because of all the confusion, an african mask i purchased was left behind☹
• Jon Paul (6/5): Nice but too loud! - Kasama Hotel really isn't a bad hotel. The air con works, the staff are friendly, there is even hot water. You can tell I spend a lot of time on africa, I do t ask for much! The problem here is the bar that is just near to the hotel. Some evenings it can be very loud, especially Sunday night! They really need to decide which business to give priority to. Sleeping guests or the few people in the sports bar listening to loud music.
• Isabelle (10/5): A home away from home - From the moment we arrived at Kahama, the staff made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much effort, from taking time to give tips on local sights and restaurants, escorting us to nearby restaurants at night, responsive on room service, and generally being available for anything we might need. The hotel has a relaxed vibe, without the hassle you find at the beach front hotels. It is decorated with lovely local furniture, comfortable rooms, and charming and helpful staff, and is just a short walk to the beach. There's also a great band that plays in the bar which is a must-see sight of Mombasa. Also a huge clean pool, where you can swim at night. We'll definitely be returning.
• Eric (6/5): Dégradation des prestations - Climatisation en panne à l'arrivée ! Plus de 2 heures pour régler le problème ! Chambre trop lumineuse la nuit à cause du couloir restant allumé toute la nuit et de l'imposte qui laisse passer cette lumière. De plus les rideaux ne sont pas assez opaques.

• Rainer (10/5): Beste Adresse in Bamburi - Hotel mit bestem Preis-/Leitungsverhältnis am Bamburi-Beach. Supernettes Personal, alles sauber, gutes Frühstück, gutes Restaurant, schöne Zimmer. Und nur paar Schritte (150 Meter) bis zum Strand. Sehr empfehlenswert.
• Hisham (8/5): the hotel is about 300 m from the beach - very good experience. enjoyed it and would go there again. the hotel rooms are well priced. I went around searching other hotels in the area and came to a conclusion that it is good value for money. The food at the restaurant was not good but the breakfast was good. in fact, the food at Bamburi beach is overpriced and I have not enjoyed food there. It seems to me that they are used to dealing with one-time customers and no repeaters. the only food I enjoyed was at Masai restaurant, not far from Nakumat, where we had grilled ribs. Use uber for your travel in Mombasa, taxis are very expensive.

• Alexander (8/5): Prisvärt och mysigt hotell - Jag och min flickvän stannade här och hade det jättebra och prisvärt. Supermysigt hotell och stranden är en kort promenad bort. Finns bra wifi i rummet och AC som uppskattades väldigt mycket. Rekommenderas!
• Al (10/5): Lively evenings quiet days - If you want to combine listening to live music at night with days at the beach that are quiet, this is the place to stay. It's only 5 minutes from the beach and the rooms are bigger and cheaper than the beach side hotels. It has been renovated so it is comfortable. The coffee and toast at breakfast is excellent but for those that want something more lavish, I recommend a short walk to the beach facing Il Covo Italian restaurant
• Anders (8/5): Prisvärt hotel vid Bamburi Beach - Positiv överraskning. Rummet var rent och prydligt. WiFi fungerade utmärkt och kassaskåpet i rummet var också i funktion vilket sällan händer i Afrika. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Poolen var stor med bekväma solsängar och parasoller.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Kahama at Xmas - always enjoy my stays at the kahama though the xmas prices were a bit over the top for this place; good points are the staff, location and the bar; rooms are big and usually everything works though you may need to wait for the hot water to arrive; wifi (as usual) was inconsistent at best and weak when it finally connected; bar is a chill place with lots of sports screens, need to make it clear to staff if you really want a "cold" beer, chicken was overcooked; the noise from the bar or pool may bother some; taxi from airport around KES2,000

• Malcolm (10/5): A really pleaserable stay - The staff could not be more helpful. The only thing lacking was the kettle in the room, they even sorted that out and is now available for future guests. The most noticeable thing on arrival was how clean the swimming pool was, this was reflected throughout the hotel. For a budget priced hotel I could not have been happier.
• Ali (6/5): Close to activities spots - Nice hotel in general if you are looking for moving around and going to other places, though it has no direct access to the beach, yet it is close to national parks and marina, very friendly staff with comfort rooms
