- Mohamed Ali (8/5): I had a good stay and I recommend this hotel. - We had a great stay at this hotel. It’s conveniently located near the city center, main attractions, restaurants, and markets. The value for money is excellent. Special thanks to Mousa at the night reception, who always greeted us with a warm smile. I had a small complaint, and it was resolved very quickly. Highly appreciated! Some maintenance is needed, like painting the walls again, fixing damage in the wall from rain and moisture, and fix the TV signal. This comment is just to help improve the hotel, because I liked everything overall.

The location is really convenient for visiting the local bazaars as well as some really nice attractions. The value for money is good but we felt disappointed with the condition of the room, we did not expect luxury but the walls were moldy and the bathroom door broken. However the thing that really bothered us was the cleaning, 3 nights and they did not change the towels or something in the room as well as when we arrived the pillows did not have cases and we asked from the House Keeping Lady.

Por lo demás bien por el precio del hotel.

- Lukman (8/5): 4 - Good Good
- Despoina (8/5): Very good - The location is really good. Close to Agia Sophia & Kapali Carsi.
The staff is friendly and they help you!
The room was basic. Tv didn’t work and very bad noise proofing. No fridge. The beds were comfortable.
We were listening everything.
We didn’t like that we couldn’t buy water or breakfast in the hotel.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - We had a fantastic stay, the hotel far exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were always attentive, professional and kind. I highly recommend it. Excellent location. If we were to return to Istanbul we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you Everything was perfect, there was nothing we didn't like.
- Paraskevi (6/5): My stay was pleasant clean and tidy rooms. Nice location.the menu very expensive without to be good - I like that was in a good location I didn't like that they asked me to pay 3€ when I done my check in. It was already paid everything through booking.
I didn't like that they didn't provide as a service not even a coffee we had to pay for everything.
And a member of staff (not all) was rude.
- Mohammad (5/5): Passable -
- Dragos_p. (9/5): Superb - The staff was friendly and the accomodation was close to the main objectives.
- Dimitrijevic (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely staff, clean hotel🇹🇷
- Okungbowa (5/5): Passable -
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Muamer (1/5): Small room - Because I selected another room than which his gived me
- Evie (6/5): Perfect for a cheap 2 night stay. - Staff very helpful. Room was ideal for a 1-2 night stay as very cheap for a good location. Bathroom facilities worked well. Wi-fi drops out quite often. Our room was located right outside the elevator so we could hear loud footsteps and voices all night.
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional - The location
The staff was very helpful and very friendly
I definitely recommend it
- Mohamed (9/5): Superb -
- Xismla (9/5): Lovely rooms, close to the mail road AND GREAT PRICE! We will visit again! - It was very near the main rode, few minutes far. The price was very affordable. The rooms are not that big but i mean for that price you can’t be mad. We had a fridge, fresh towels, the room was cleaned regularly. The staff was very kind and nice. I really don’t know why they had so bad reviews. We are very satisfied. Just a few cockroaches that we killed, but still not mad about it. The room was cleaned every day. Probably because the building is a bit old or maybe other guests brought them in the room.
- Claudiu (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was very nice and helpful, location was ok , very close to grand bazar !
- Nidzo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Riadh (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything.. worst hotel i've been in my life.. they said room with 25m² .. when i'm there i'm shocked.. small room with a view on garbage.. insects everywhere.. hotel not clean at all..
I do not recommend it.. it’s waste of money
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Giresse (8/5): Very good -
- Skeparoski (1/5): Bad - Last time here Rude stuff
- Manik (1/5): Bad -
- Abdumuslim (7/5): Good -
- Vinod (8/5): Very good - A hotel right in the heart of Beywzit , close to the tram stations and all the sights.
Eateries , shops and medical stores at a stones throw.
All in all a good combination. A teapot in the room , would have been appreciated
- Susterac (1/5): Book at your own risk. - Location and staff, although the younger boy could work on his English a little bit. They were very helpful. It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. When we first got to our room it reeked of chemicals, now don’t let that fool you into thinking it was clean. It smelled like somebody just poured bunch of chemicals together 5 minutes before we came to mask another smell and created a chemical bomb in the bathroom. We left the window open during the whole day hoping the smell would go away, when we came back to the hotel in the evening the smell was still unbearable. The toilet looked like it was never cleaned, the shower was disgusting, curtains in the room have a mid way awkward separation in them which made it unable to close all the way meaning the people working across the hotel would always have a few into the room, the beds were falling apart, one was standing on 3 legs, made you feel like you were sleeping on a boat. We had to switch rooms at night because everything was unbearable, the new room was slightly less dirty than the first one. It’s a shame for the hotel owner, they need to invest in cleaning supplies and remodel the hotel because the location is so good it would bring him more business than it now does.
- Mumin (6/5): It was my first time in Istanbul. I would also like to have a minibar, I had to pay €2 for a coffee, even though it was - the price was very reasonable,
the location was in a good place. a lot of noise can be heard from other stoves all night,
and most of those written in the advertisement were not in the hotel,
the mininari was not
there were no sandals for the bathroom,
the only thing that was in the room was shampoo for the shower and towels
- James (8/5): Central location and cheap no breakfast available though -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ioannis (6/5): Pleasant - Very close (less than 6-7minutes walking) to public transport (tram, bus, subway) and quite close (walking distance) to the main tourist spots of the city (Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi palace, Blue Mosque etc.). There were several mini markets for snacks, water etc. less than 100m away from the hotel Insufficient room cleanliness (for example at check-in 3 out of 4 beds had dirty sheets), damaged equipment (sockets, curtains, veranda chairs etc.). Necessary room renovation. Although they appeared in the room amenities, they were no TV, hair dryer, slippers, clothes rack.
- Ina (10/5): Exceptional - People there were kind and helpful and The hotel was clean
- Shabana (1/5): It was very bad experience with the property that's why we checked out second day .so we stayed only - I didn't like the property as they dump us in the room which was not equipped with facilities, the intercome was broken which was against the health and safety. There was no side table, no kettle ,no tea or coffee as complimentary . Room cleaning was zero .no cleaner visited to clean Nothing
- Dusan (8/5): Good staff, comfort but dark room - İ like the staff, despite lack of nature light an the view we are told we are going to look through room window, the crew was very hospitable. The lack of nature light and the view to sea we were told on booking appointment
- Rayan (1/5): Very bad experience - The room was very small. The blankets was not comfortable. The toilet was broken, it was a very uncomfortable stay
- Berina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Orzeszek (10/5): Better to take delux room - Nice personel, management. Deluxe room was ok.
Nice coffee, good help and support.
I like shower gel in a room. Walls in the standard room.
Pillows in my room were hard for my head 😅, not really soft.
- Dheeraj (1/5): During our 3-night stay, we were forced to switch rooms four times due to various issues including receiving the wrong r - The location. Where do I begin? We switched rooms four times during our stay of 3 nights. First change was due to incorrect type of room being given to us; we payed for a double bed and got a single. Upon complaining, they told us “hopefully it will be better tomorrow.” Second change was due to the aicon not working and the bathroom door was too big for the door frame and therefore could not close. Upon complaining, they told us “aircon is working 50/50.” The third time was to allow us to sleep in aircon, but it was a single bed (again what we didn’t pay for). The final time, they almost got it right and it was our time to leave shortly after. All of the rooms we had, the showers leaked into the bathroom making the floor drenched. If you missed the Bascilla Cistern during your trip in Istanbul, a cistern will be created in your bathroom because of this issue.
- Ayushman (3/5): You get less than what you pay for. - Location is near a tram stop and is a 15 minute walk from the Sultanahmet. We paid for 2 twin rooms with city view and AC. One of the rooms had a view of a fire escape, and the other a pile of rubble. One room was a double, and the other had non-functioning AC (in 32 degree summer heat) with intermittent electricity problems. One of the showers flooded the bathroom. Stains on the furniture. Staff wholly unhelpful (particularly man on night shift) and would not offer us either a change in room or a partial refund - claiming no other rooms were available. Additionally, they claimed that they would bring someone to fix the non-functioning AC - though a repairman never showed up. Previous reviews of this hotel are outdated - breakfast is no longer offered. Can only recommend spending a bit more to move to some hotels on the main road.
- Charbadze (7/5): I tried to express reality in my feedback. I hope you will keep it in mind. Anyway, thank you for everything. - I like location and bathroom. They tried to keep cleanliness in our room. The hotel was not crowded. It was cozy and we felf safe there. Staff were polite and attentive, but sometimes we preferred to do some things by ourselves which I will mention below. I did not like internet quality. We had it, but it was often poor. One boy from the Staff told us that we could not enter the kitchen and keep food without telling them or their accompany. It was not comfortable for us. There were not even a small table in our room, we had to sit on our beds to eat. They told us that we were not allowed to eat with our food downstairs in the cafe area. Staff did not know English well, they knew but often used google. Anyway, we did not pay much and it was almost suitable to the price we paid. Not too bad but some things surpised us a bit which I have mentioned above. Thanks, Good luck.
- Arianna (2/5): Go to Morava Hotel, instead to this one, trust me. - For the price we paid I thought the hotel was worse looking, instead, it was not so bad in terms of appearance. The AC didn’t work, it was very hot, I usually don’t use it but it was impossible to breath without. We asked the guy at the reception (through Google Transaltor, since he didn’t speak English) to change the room and he brought us in a very very small and quite dirty room in which the AC was badly working as well and in which it could be managed only through the guy phone (maybe it was the staff room?). We asked for another room but the guy told us the hotel was full. So at 1 a.m. we decide to go out and search for another hotel because it was impossible to sleep there. Fortunately right in front of Pearl hotel there is the Morava Hotel. At morava hotel we have had a great welcoming, the guy at the reception was able to speak English very well and was very kind. He found for us a very nice and clean room in which the AC worked very well. So, listen to me, Morava hotel costs double the cost of Pearl hotel but it worth it. Go to Morava hotel, not to Pearl one.
- Ayad (1/5): Bad - It’s very hot not working air conditioning and the staf very bad They were not forgiving. They were racist Turks
- Paola (5/5): Passable - Central location, close to transport and amenities. Clean room and bathroom.
Funcioning Air conditioning. Staff not speaking English, French, Spanish nor Italian.
No food nor drinks available at the hotel.
Streets around not feeling safe for a woman when dark.
Lights in the room flickering constantly. Toilet seat broken.
- Sathya (6/5): Not so bad - The price and it was close to the main attractions The neighborhood was orribile and creepy. Not so clean
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very nice and clean hotel, the staff was very helpful and available at any moment. Everything went well, highly recommended!
- Krisztina (7/5): Good -
- Mohammed (7/5): Good - The hotel was clean and the location was close to the Grand Bazaar and tram stops.
Local shops were close too. The cost of beverages at the hotel were extremely high.
The hotel is located at the bottom of a steep hill which you must climb Everytime you wish to travel to the tourist attractions.
Gent on Reception seemed angry most of the time until he was challenged and explained the hours he's working and reasons why he came across like this
Had booked 5 rooms here and it was very hot. 4 had a working AC 1 room didn't work. Room was changed but AC still didn't work. The 2 friends allocated that room were extremely dissatisfied
Felt a bit unwell on last day so requested a late checkout which ended up costing 35 Euros for 5 hours. Nearly as much as the room for 3 nights!
- Omar (7/5): Good -
- Ikram (5/5): Ok - Location was good The receptionist was not too helpful or knowledgeable. Room facilities was non functional. Shower was broken.
- Mhairi (7/5): Good -
