• Louise (7/5): - The location was perfect for us, as we were there to for a concert at rhe Royal concert hall. Literally a one minute walk across the road. The bed was comfy enough, it was nice and quiet, and breakfast was included. The shower was terrible, it took ages to get even a wee bit warm, and then it was so temperamental. Luckily I suppose, it never got scalding hot, but it did turn freezing instantly every now and again. The restaurant only had 2 vegetarian options, and they were fairly random ones at that, but luckily there's hundreds of other restaurants all around, so we only ate there on the first night.

Lots of sockets including usb ports. That is especially welcome near the bed. twIn room but beds were queens so very comfortable. Good breakfast with plenty of variety and freshly made waffles. Great location Nothing if I was picky I would say a bottle of mineral water in the room is very nice

• eBayAnorak (7/5): Would stay again but not on third floor - Location just opposite Newcastle railway station. Nice rooms, big TV and comfortable bed. Noise from the gym waking me at 6am every morning. I don't get to sleep until around 2amand then being awoken by the clanging from the weight machine at that early hour wasn't a good thing for work the next day. Staff apologised and said they'd pass the information back but nothing offered by way of a voucher or refund. So don't stay in the early 300's of the rooms.

• Jayne (8/5): Good hotel, great location - Staff friendly and helpful and allowed us an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The breakfast offer was varied and plentiful. Good bathroom products - separate hair shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, handwash, and handcream. Comfy bed. Great central location. Maybe a couple of extra coffee sachets for those who like a strong coffee! Our view from the window of the air conditioning units and delivery yard wasn't the prettiest, but nevertheless, we had a decent stay.

• Fiona (8/5): - Huge and comfy room, free breakfast with loads of great choices, super central location close to everything (especially the train station across the road), great and friendly staff, and I was able to unexpectedly check in really early! Fantastic! My room keycard didn't work at first but the receptionist very quickly fixed it. I stayed on a Saturday night so there was noise from nearby bars/clubs - thankfully not enough to keep me awake. I'd absolutely stay here again.

• Dawn (10/5): - The staff are very good. Polite and attentive. Breakfast was tasty. Location of the hotel was ideal for us. Could of done with a pulldown seat in the bathroom to give you somewhere to sit while getting dry after a shower. A bit better range of bar food in the evening would be nice, as not everyone has the time or energy to go out looking for somewhere to eat.

The fact that they could not supply a second chair (of any kind) for our room, meaning one of us had always to sit on the bed. For a five night stay?! Not good enough.

Breakfast was good enough choices Bed base made of wood & managed to hit leg on it twice. It would of been nice to have selection of fresh fruit at breakfast not tinned. The hotel room could have been cleaned everyday as the bins in the room didn't get cleared after we checked out.
