Everything was fine for a hotel in this category. Little delighted. I have stayed previously but was in a Club room and the experience was much better.

- chorch2019 (10/5): Wonderful and helpful service - The service at the hotel is very good. I would like to commend Money, one of the senior staff on duty at the hotel. My wife slipped on a flight of stairs on the way back to the hotel and he was very helpful and personally brought up a bag of ice to our room to help alleviate the swelling on my wife’s ankle. In addition, he gave us an analgesic spray. Would definitely recommended this hotel for the location and service.

- rayontime (6/5): Behind the curve - Haven’t been back to Shenzhen in over a decade and the progress has been impressive. Unfortunate that a major hotel chain like the Hilton has not been able to keep pace. Facilities were fine and cleanliness was decent enough but the staff were unfortunately not up to the mark. Not well trained, scruffy - and at some points they were more interested in horseplay or having their own private conversations and ignoring guests. Somewhat disappointing
- NorthStar52119143441 (2/5): Hilton Futian hits rock bottom - I have stayed in multiple hotels in shenzhen some better than others unfortunately my experience with the Hilton was very poor the WiFi would not function and when asked the staff did not seem very keen to help, Besides these complications there were a couple security issues, the other guests were loud and rowdy and though the staff was informed they made no progress in terms of helping.
- WeiyiG (10/5): Super convenient location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. - I stayed here for about a week, off and off, at the end of March 2025. Location is great - Adjacent to the Shenzhen Gangxia North Subway Station, which is both the largest subway station in Shenzhen and I've also heard in the world. It's an miniature underground city with restaurants, shops, entertainment (like cat cafes!), and basically anything and everything you might want. On top of excellent subway options. I was here for work and had a complicated itinerary. Including days that I needed to access a shower in the morning since I was coming straight from the airport and going to meetings. And also needed to leave my luggage at the hotel over the weekend (after I had checked out) when I traveled to another city. The hotel was able to support all of my complicated logistics flawlessly and with the highest level of service. In particular, the concierge desk was incredible. Not only in helping me with all my luggage shenanigans. But also helping me use the Chinese shopping app Taobao so I could buy things to bring back to the US, and then taking delivery of these items and delivering them straight to my room. Thank you so much to the hotel and all of the staff, especially Frank at the concierge desk! I will definitely be staying at the Hilton Futian whenever I am in Shenzhen for business.

Management would rather you checkout of their hotel than fix problems they have. You would expect a certain level of standards when you're at a Hilton. Our stay here falls far short. We weren't allocated rooms when we checked in so had no idea what rooms we were staying in when we got back to our hotel in the evening - no room numbers were written on our slips. Hotel ran out of vouchers for the playhouse they were offering on promo causing a commotion when we turned up at the playhouse. Concierge didn't have the noggin to figure if we would like help with our luggage up to our room when we rocked up with 2 push chairs. To top it all off, we had booked a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor. When we entered the room it stank of smoke and attempts to cover it up. We have 2 young kids and we're a non-smoking household so we took it up with management. They offered us money but I'd rather be changed to another room. They had nothing and wouldn't help us as we were trying to get the kids bathed and asleep. *The cherry on top was that they told us we could check out and find another hotel! This is the Easter weekend! We booked well in advance to avoid troubles of trying to find a half decent hotel/room*
- X2619MKryang (10/5): 5 stars on everything! - Very clean and luxurious hotel. Perfect to come back to after a big day of trade shows and factory visits. Breakfast had plenty of options even for the most fussy eaters. The gym is large and very clean with new equipment and fully staffed. I wish I could have stayed longer.

- Lai-Yee (6/5): - The hotel is old and worn down, it needs some upgrades. The nearest metro station is Gangxia north , exit 13, it is very easy to find . The buffet breakfast is average. The sauna areas is also old and worn down .

We saw that same spoons and tongs were used for multiple dishes (both for halal and non halal dishes). Some of the dishes at the breakfast buffet was not labeled. Otherwise the hotel was excellent, front office staff were very nice and helpful, excellent facilities.

I have been such a royal customer to Hilton for a while, and this hotel make me feel betrayed by the name of Hilton

The common areas and rooms are tired and run down service is bad all around almost no one on the staff speak English there are much better hotel options in this city i am surprised on Hilton that they let this property become so bad. The quality of the breakfast has also gone down. I have been coming to this hotel for years this time will be the last.

In fact, it was the spiderman cleaning the external windows but the noise generated due to the amount of water pouring down the external windows was so much and so loud that we were woken up from our sleep. While we noted that there was a room notice that there will be window cleaning over 25 to 30 Sep 2024, the time specified was from 10:00 to 18:00. We were woken up around 8 am which was unacceptable. And because the management never used a window cleaning gantry, they needed to pour large amount of precious water over the window surface from the top, which generated very loud noise. This is BOTH bad for the hotel guests and the environment! For record, we actually took a video of the event and are glad to show the hotel management if necessary.

Fortunately it's just one night. >> Location (5): The hotel is close to Exit 12 of the Gangxia North MRT Station. There are some MRT lines passing through this stop so it's convenient to reach different places in Shenzhen. >> Environment (3): I feel like the hotel was quite old and it needs some upkeep. Just casually looked at the indicator light of the elevator and I saw the glue stains. I also saw old socket extensions from the inside of the breakfast restaurant. And honestly the "city view" in the room was just average - can't demand much for a hotel in the city centre. >> Service (2): As I am a member of the Hilton Honor, the male staff at the concierge did not advise the member privileges, such as the free breakfast arrangement, room upgrade and any late check-out. I did not feel like being warmly welcomed when I stepped in. Also, I used the lounge on Level 20 and there was just limited "services". I shall elaborate more later. The only merit goes to the table-cleaning lady at the breakfast hall since she kept picking up plates and was polite and sincere. >> Cleanliness (4): Other than a little stain on the carpet in the room, I consider the hotel quite clean and tidy. >> Food (2): On Saturday I visited the lounge and the food served was quite disappointing. Ham sandwich looked even worse than what we buy from convenience stores; fair quality of cakes; almost dried grapefruit; only 4 cans of drink per brand in the fridge which looked like rationing... and the coffee machine was not available. And the next day, I had the breakfast at the breakfast hall, one coffee machine was not in use and another one was not working right. A foreign lady could not make coffee but no one helped. And the "egg station" was not serving eggs. No scrambled eggs, sunny side up being served. I would say, the breakfast was acceptable but the lounge does not value for money at all. >> Facilities (3): The in-room facilities are fine. I did not use the pool and gym so I have no comments. But the problem goes to the lounge (again). On the wall it says the opening hour is 0630-2300 but the note distributed at the concierge says it's from 1200-2100. It's really a sub-standard lounge (comparing to those that I visited in other places). I would say this hotel is suitable for you if you just need a bed close to the MRT, and you do not need any food or facilities. For me myself, I guess I would choose some other hotels if I pay this sum.
- Jenniffer (10/5): - Just an observation/recommendation for the customers that are at Shenzhen for the first time without internet access. It would be helpful to have printed information of buses around the area and places to shop close to the Hotel in English. We were fortunate to have friends living close by to help us with sims cards and moving us around. The free internet sucks and couldn't connect from the room, also the A/C wasn't cooling enouph at night. Other than that everything was perfect, thanks!

Nicole, Emily, Luca, and Amy went above and beyond to make me feel right at home. Their genuine care and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience.
- Pei Ting (6/5): - The room was not ready for us to check in. We arrived around 3pm. The room was not ready. We waited until 5:30pm but still not ready. We can only go out for dinner first and when we returned at 10:30pm, it was ready. They apologized by sending a fruit plate only. They offered a late checkout but we didn’t need it. The service is really disappointing. If they kept extending the checkout time to apologize unable to checkin, it will become a vicious cycle. This is Hilton, not some random 2star hotel.

- adit3005 (6/5): Standard hilton great for business meetings - Check in smooth, high tea in executive lounge was so-so, slow in clearing tables. Gym is good, pool photo was obviously well staged. Rooms are hilton standard, room service is limited for snacks and drinks. Plenty of cabs, metro station 5 minutes wall, discovered smaller cheap eateries at back of the hotel.

- fellyjelly (6/5): Great location, poor experience - Chose this hotel due to great pricing as well as proximity to metro station and to the downtown Futian. Not our first time staying at a Hilton Hotel, we had no worries about staying here until our first night here. The lobby is filled with cigarette smoke as there is a jewelry store on the lobby floor and the staff are smoking indoors affecting the ambience and air on the hotel lobby, especially if you’re using the washroom or going to your hotel room walking to the lifts. The room was very large and so was the King bed, however we felt the bed was too hard and difficult to sleep on. It was not the “firm” kind of mattress feel but more of cardboard feeling. The pillows were a complete disappointment, they were limp and not even a little bit of cushion, the hotel cushion on the chair was even more plump than the pillows we got. we could not sleep well for the first night and started longing for our home pillows. We called reception to ask if they could send us up some pillows but they said they didn’t have any. The next night our necks were hurting due to no neck support from the pillow, so we went to reception on our way back for the 2nd night stay, they said they have pillows but aren’t like the hotel ones, but at this point we’d take anything so we said ok. The housekeeping staff that brought it up to us even said herself that the pillows here are terrible and sometimes they put multiple pillows into one case so that you can get a “real pillow” feel or add towels into it. We thanked her so much for her the solution as it got us through the night, but severely affected our happiness staying here. The hotel breakfast was also mediocre, as we stayed over Easter, there are lots of families enjoying the holiday as well, most of the food was gone even 1 hour before the end of breakfast and they were not refilling it as often as I’ve seen other hotels do so. The hygiene of the food is also questionable as the food is not properly regulated, though buffet style, we understand staff cannot monitor the food at all times but we saw adults and kids alike grabbing food from the buffet directly with their hands and eating it. (Though this is not a hotel problem of course, but it can be better regulated). Loved the location, but probably won’t stay here again.
- Cjs800 (8/5): Good option in futian - when traveling for business - Good option in Futian. Short walk to One Avenue and right next to major metro station (GangXia north). Rooms are nice. Especially like the bed linen. Everything else about the hotel is pretty much standard - nothing stands out in positive or negative way. I will definitely stay here again when for business. I would not stay here if on holiday.

And their staff need training again. I am the member, with unknown reason my whole stay were missing in the account and they also did not send me the receipts which I need to ask 2 times via email for the receipt. Until now, my staying record and the point even not yet completed to credit back. It really disappointed 😔
- Qingxiang (10/5): - Had an amazing experience staying here for 2 nights last weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even offered to upgrade my room for free. The hotel is in the center of the city and easy to get to pretty much everywhere. The room is extremely clean and comfy, I’d highly recommend this place if you ever plan to visit Shenzhen.

Hilton enjoys a prime location at the bustling commercial core of Futian district. The room is neat, clean and spacious with a nice city view. It is not a new place but maintenance is fine. Staff is courteous. Price is great especially when compared with those nearby.

- Neng Yun (4/5): Not up to Hilton Standards - Hilton only by name. This hotel is not up to Hilton standards and needs renovating. The carpets were old and smelled musky. I had to request a room without carpets after change rooms twice without satisfaction. I had to contend with a lower grade room without the smelly carpets but it was worth the sacrifice. The cleaning was also very sloopy for a five star.

- Fung Ting (8/5): Nice hotel but some facilities problems - Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, hotel breakfast is ok. Location is good. There are some improvements can be made. The hotel provided phone charging cable, but the voltage is too low, it take long time to charge one phone. We forgot to bring our own charging cable for this trip. We have several phones and tablets to charge, and it take overnight and cannot complete all charging. There is no soap provided in the bath room. All liquid soap and shampoo bottle are fixed inside of the shower room and cannot take it away. Therefore when you take a bath on the tub, you got nothing to use (you can only soaked on the bath tub with hot water, nothing else. You cannot wash your body by any detergent). All you can do is going to the shower room after. Seems like the beautiful bath tub is only for display. The hair dryer is super noisy but blowing power is weak. Cannot dry the hair even my daughter is very short hair. Therefore I give up to wash my long hair because of the bad hair dryer. Suppose I think I can ask the room service to change another hair dryer for me but it was nearly 1am in the morning… I prefer go to sleep.

I have been an HHonors Gold Member since 2012, and I have never had any complaints. Typically upon seeing that I have Gold status, the staff usually goes out of their way to make my stay extra comfortable. That’s why I’ve continued my loyalty with Hilton. However, the same cannot be said of the Shenzhen Hilton Futian. If you are expecting any form of decent customer service, throw that idea out of your head. You won’t find it here. I booked my night through Expedia instead of Hilton.com. I was not expecting to receive HHonor points for my stay, but I was expecting the normal Gold status amenities, mainly access to the executive lounge. After the front desk had agreed to granting me access, I received a call to my room saying because I didn’t book through Hilton.com they don’t recognize my status. I could have chosen to stay at any other hotel in the city but I chose Hilton specifically because I have status there. My problem was not that I was denied my status (policy is policy, I totally get it), but actually what unfolded next. I asked to speak to the general manager, Mrs. Wang. She was not only dismissive, but she was actually condescending and rude. When your job in hospitality is to ensure your guests have a smooth experience, she did the exact opposite. She used a demeaning and sarcastic tone when speaking to me. Simply awful. Avoid this hotel.

- Anu (4/5): Portion of our money was stolen from the safe - Overall hotel experience was good until we found out that the portion of our money was stolen from the safe. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and put $2,100 and couple HK dollars in the safe right after our arrival. We didn't bother to count the money when we checked out from the hotel since we believed Hilton is one of the most prestigous hotels in the world. We directly went to the airport from the hotel and on our way there my husband counted the money and found out that $300 was stolen and we had $1,800 left (we didn't open the safe nor touched the money during our stay since we had enough yuan to use in Shenzen). The hotel staff/thieves didn't steal all the money cause they knew we could complain right away. In order to avoid suspicion they stole only small portion of the money. Who would think that you can lose money from the safe especially in a hotel like Hilton. We are very dissaponted. Be aware!!!
- mark (10/5): Great place for a solo traveler. - This was on par with a 5 star hotel I stayed at in shinagawa japan, the takanawa prince hotel. This Hilton I will use on my next trip to Shenzhen! The staff at the buffet was spectacular. Most notably Heather and Kevin. Great people!

It was located in the center of Shenzhen city, and close to a lot of shops and offices. However, there were some sort of long-term constructions going when I stayed there. The unbearable noise started 6:30 am. The staffs told me the noise would continues until 11 pm at night. So if you like to be in a quiet room, this hotel might not be your best choice until the construction finished.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Dirty room - Disappointing. Previously stayed at this property & was very impressed. The room had not been vacuumed as there were some food crumbs on the floor that stayed there the entire visit. There were also food stains on carpet as well as something that had been spilled on side of bedside table. Between the bath tub & wall were dust bunnies or cigarette ashes, I couldn't really tell or want to spend the time. Definitely could have been cleaner. Comfy bed & great shower.
