- rob (3/5): Horrible angry owner screaming about everything - There were no roaches. It was quiet. It was fairly clean. The owner was a horrible angry man that doesn’t even have the common sense to look at the reservation before he decides everyone will come in and screw up his motel. He’s the only screw up. This man started screaming at “hello”. Screamed “do you smoke?” Screamed suspiciously “how many guests” I filled all that out before I got there on my work trip. I asked him why he’s so angry and he lost it and threw my I.D. At me and walked away. His wife was there and I asked her to sign me in and she did so silently. We went to our room afraid that this jerk would throw us out at any minute. Also there’s a deposit that’s never mentioned but he’s sure he knows everything. He made the whole thing suck.
- April (8/5): Good value in good central location - Good value rate. Centrally located, was quiet and clean felt safe. Across the street from restaurant which was convenient. Free parking, easy check in, accommodated special room request Older property furnishings and room could use an update. Would have liked a fridge in room but not a big deal

- TheBigShyBoy (1/5): Stay Away From This Place(Scam) - Nothing at all, I felt uncomfortable off the bat . SMDH I didn't even get to go into the room, the manager or person at the desk was so judgemental. Giving out so many rules in a rude way, I couldn't park my car in reverse. All this extra stuff that I didn't even wanna stay there anymore cause of how uncomfortable I would might be . And the fact that I was the only one there checking in only that day . Thats tells me all I need to know . Get ready to put 20 down as well . I didn't even enter my room and still didn't receive my refund for 85 dollars I paid for this room . This place is the worse place you can stay at . Never find me here again 💯

- Raul (8/5): - Nice
- Jordan (2/5): - This location should not be on Expedia. They ask for cash deposit as a hold even though i asked why it wasnt in their policies which can be considered discriminatory. The room was abyssmal and dirty. Room description says there is supposed be a fridge and there was no fridge. Would not reccomend to anyone
- Sam (2/5): Dirty - Lo
- Kevin (4/5): - - - WARNING, AVOID AT ALL COST - - - - Wish I'd read the reviews before booking. True this place was an economical choice, but there was a reason for that. On checking in, was told I had to pay a twenty dollar cash key deposit. Would've helped if this was made known beforehand so I wouldn't have had to walk almost 4 blocks looking for an ATM. Male clerk kept stressing no smoking and no guest allowed, this should've been made known when the reservation was made. Not upon arrival. Bathroom was moldy and bath towels were too small. Was in Santa Ana for a job interview, thus initially booked for only one night. Learning the interview was going to be longer than expected, I logged onto Hotels.com to book another night so I'd have someplace to keep my luggage while at the interview. To my surprise I was told I'd still have to check out at 11 and would have to come back at 3 pm, my interview was at 12 pm. I ask the lady at check-in if I can leave my luggage there since I'm going to a job interview and will be back at 3. She advised no they can't, so I end up walking around town in a business suit carrying a bunch of luggage looking crazy. Made it to the interview and explained why I was carrying around a bunch of luggage, luckily the interviewers understood.
Bottom line, just pay the extra dollars and find someplace that isn't a burden and won't hit you with a bunch of unexpected stuff.
- Eric (6/5): -
- Julia (6/5): - Bed was to stiff please do better
- Jessika (2/5): - The owner was rude and pushy. He made demands and restrictions about our stay. He told us where we could and could not park each night within the very small parking lot. He was adamant that I could not invite a friend to visit in the room. He demanded I give him $20 cash as a security deposit for the room key card. There was also absolutely no toiletries provided except a small bar of hand soap. He was very belittling toward women and made our stay incredibly uncomfortable.
- Steve (2/5): It may be cheap, but not worth it! - It was cheap true - but, towels were like hand towels. Sheet was not fitted so pulled off mattress as soon as you lifted the single blanket. Owner very surly, Made me leave at check in, go to ATM for $20 cash, for key deposit. And I killed a cockroach on the pillow next to me in middle of night. I’ll pay $10 more to go another location in the future!
- Linda (10/5): - The Inn was clean, safe and quiet for my family. The staff was open to questions or requests during our stay.
- Jim (4/5): - close to shopping eating, Room was dirty, beds were uncomfortable, no soap, no shampoo, no coffee in room/or available in office. property was rundown and in need of repairs.
- Cruz (7/5): Good -
- Steve (4/5): Not a place to bring family - Strange. Interrogated on arrival (I’m a clean cut business man). Demanded $20 cash as deposit to give me plastic key card (what if I didn’t happen to have cash with me). Room had no clothes bar, had to hang suit on shower rod. Beds sheet too small, instantly pulled out from tuck and could not get it back. The AC did work well however.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The price range was good, but they charge a $50 key deposit. Be aware if you stay.
Hotels. Com does not state this in their terms
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent if you're passing through. - At check in Lady was nice but for some reason the guy was a bit too stern.
- Rachel (4/5): - I usually don't like to post negative about the property but I want to help others to save their money. This place is not in a good shape. Housekeeping didn't do a good job cleaning the bathroom. Its dirty, mold or mildew on edge of tub. No shampoo and conditioners. The bed is not comfortable. No hot kettle in the room.No vending machine to buy a drink. I would not go back again.
- Robert (1/5): Bad -
- Khoi (1/5): Bad -
- Brynner (3/5): Poor -
- Ikner (1/5): Very dirty not like Motel 6 - I don’t like this place at all Nothing at all
- Brenda (3/5): You get what you pay for - Super close to 5 freeway No microwave, room had roaches, AC is old and outdated, no blankets just sheet and comforter. The man who checked in seemed nice but then came randomly to my door asking me to move my car and park right or else he would have my car towed. The parking spaces are super cinoacted and theres not enough room to get into and out of your car. I was in the middle of something and he would not leave until I moved my car. I felt harassed ! Plus he was yelling at me when he didn't need to. I moved my car then he left me alone.
- Lance (2/5): - This was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had. The owner was terrible and rude as hell. I was so upset by the time I left this place. All around terrible. It was also disgusting. The bed was turned upside down to cover blood and god knows what else. Just terrible.
- Carlos (10/5): Good - Close to food places, and the museum across the street Parking was tight
- RICARDO (2/5): - Please take my advice this place is not for decent people specially when traveling with you lovely family. I booked for 2 night hardly sleep for 3 hrs. and we left this place and my 2nd night in other better place I don't care for money back. Management very annoying very dirty room, shower and toilet. Only 2 queen beds, 2 old chairs tiny table and nothing else no even a telephone unit and night stands, sorry but this was my experience in Santa Travel Inn.
- Jeffrey (3/5): Poor - A very "tired" hotel. Minimal extras. No coffee. No water.
- Miguel (1/5): Don't stay here - I didn't like anything about my stay the management was awful the beds were awful they probably had bed bugs I didn't like the service I didn't like the location I didn't like the room the price and the attitude of staff
- Martha (8/5): - It was nice.
- Rochelle (6/5): Not fun - The hotel room was dirty, the mattress was dirty and they had to change out room… the place definitely needs to be deep clean.we did not sleep well.
- Pamela (1/5): We hope you to inspect property and management and refund our moneys. All of it. - We enjoyed the 24 hour restaurant 5 blocks away which we had to use because there was not any coffee available onsite. We walked into a room that was filthy, broken down and worst customer service we have ever received. We have photos and videos to show anyone interested. Because of our schedule-a wedding in afternoon, we did not have time to find a new hotel. We weren't looking for something fancy. Just clean and welcoming. Not a broken toilet paper holder with a quarter roll. Not given a blanket and told "use this side the other side is dirty". Perhaps with a working lock not taped on by electrical tape. A working refrigerator would have been thoughtful. The cherry on the top, to be told our relationship is our "personal problem" felt so wrong. (we are a married gay couple). In calling the property afterwards we found out that they would allow us to check in at 12:00 with no additional costs. They shouldn't just choose who they will charge additional costs to. That is just biased.
- Brennan (6/5): - .
- Duke (6/5): - $100 per night what I expect more? It’s nice and convenient for me. No smoking is perfect here.
- Eduardo (1/5): Bad -
- Sexybreezybaby (5/5): Passable -
- Clarissa (3/5): Good location, but stinky, moldy, and dirty. -
- Muthanna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Joan (7/5): Good -
- Diana (1/5): Bad -
- Kia (2/5): - This property should not be in operation. There is mildew in the bathroom. The tub was very dirty.
- Sovann (4/5): Disappointing -
- Flossie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Young Im (2/5): - There was broken toilet paper hanger, rotten and hole on the bath tub, no face towels, no kleenex, no shampoo and conditioner.
Got a room changing due to bugs in the room.
- Marlene (2/5): not good - customer service the room was not clean, cockroaches in the bathroom and room wall , towels are poor quality
- Geovonna (8/5): I’d likely stay again! - Our room, in particular, was in a hallway, so no light was coming into the windows in the morning, so we could easily sleep in! I liked that. The man at the counter was pretty cool. Bed was suuuper comfy and I loved the bathtub. It could have been the slightest bit cleaner, but it wasn’t disgusting. I realized as I was typing this that I did not get my deposit back for the key, so that’s a bummer. BRING $20 CASH FOR THE KEY CARD, I didn’t see that anywhere in the description.
- 婷婷 (6/5): Pleasant - Friendly staff Old leftover food in the fridge, and no shampoo or body wash only bar soap
- Joseph (7/5): Good -
- Julio (10/5): Awesome - The owners are great people i usually don’t comment but i had to this time
- 637djd (10/5): ABSOLUTELY AWESOME THANK YOU SANTA ANA TRAVEL INN - I Love this place it's been a long time since we have found some place to just relax and get excellent Service from the front desk everything is great here and we will always come back here very clean and chill
- Verified traveler (4/5): - bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on with only 2 small pillows. didn't have any toilet paper or any towels. also said in description that their was a refrigerator and their definitely wasn't so I had to throw out food. also water pressure in shower was awful
would definitely like some compensation or a refund cause that was the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel
- Jose (1/5): Bad -
- Jose (1/5): Post apocalyptic hotel from hell - I woke up alive and bed bug free They were alot but to make it simpler the bed mattress was dirty and stain, me and my boyfriend and to go to Wal mart to get need pillows because they were stain and ripped
- Kenney (1/5): Beware...place is a dump. - Nothing. We were very disappointed. I think there are bed bugs there. Room was really dirty. Did not take a shower because bathroom was so dirty. No closet. No drawers. There were holes in the bathroom door and walls. The guy I was traveling with was sure that he heard two gun shots the night we stayed. Beds were super noisy with some metallic sound. Will never stay here again.
- Landa (5/5): Passable -
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Araceli (1/5): Bad -
- Tai (9/5): Ok - The receptionist was negotiable but we paid 2 per parking and we have 4 cars so he let us pay for 2 parking and 2 free...but they need to put it on the app for parkings.. Shower too slow
- Gabriel (2/5): Very poor -
- Marroquin (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (6/5): 3 day stay - good value & location The a/c unit did not work well. Room was stuffy.
- Sportychicana67 (5/5): Passable - The staff and the comfortable bed. The owners do their best with the parking being available for their guests. Very friendly & welcoming. Not too clean. Dirty floor & questionable clean sheets & pillowcases. Also, I had a stalker upstairs for 2 days. The first night he/they were loud and it sounded like a stampede up there. I didn't realize until day 2 I was being followed everywhere I went in my room. They must have installed a camera because day 1 they were working with a drill and and pounding the floor. I'm sure they had alot to hide, so they probably wanted to make sure they wouldn't get talked about and/or caught. I guess we get what we pay for.
- Fran (5/5): I won’t be going back - It was okay, There was no soap, the towels were old and dingy
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Molina (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (1/5): Denied service even with my confirmation due to... construction???? Unclear - Nothing. I was denied service/room as they said they no longer accepted booking.com reservations. They said all their available rooms were full and the ones that you can "book" are actually under construction...WHAT?! I was turned away, they didn't even bother to help or care about my confirmation number, extremely frustrating situation to walk into.
DO NOT BOOK HERE THROUGH BOOKING.COM I was denied service/room as they said they no longer accepted booking.com reservations. - Franklin (10/5): - Perfect stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great! Easy!
- John (2/5): - Very unremarkable hotel staff was a little rude and TV didn't work when I got there really just not a fun place to say
- Christopher (10/5): - Amazing
- Ximena (8/5): Great for a budget - Decent sized room, huge bed, cleanliness I can live with.
- Raul (10/5): - I like it very clean and convenient
- James (4/5): No visitors - They allow no visitors, not even relatives can visit during the day.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was clean, Bed was very good, Management was pleasant.
I did not find shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom but may have been available at the front desk (I brought my own). There were plenty of clean towels and housekeeping is very good. I would recommend this place as a nice place to stay at and it is conveniently located to the museums (Bower Museum is across the street), etc.
- Diana (2/5): - I wouldnt book here at all this was one of my bad booking in all santa ana
- Verified traveler (8/5): My feedback for staying at Santa Ana Travel Inn - The exterior building was pretty and we are happy to be able to stay in the room facing the south. We had a bit issue stepping high to get on the beds. I also wonder if the housekeeping lady came every day.
- RitaP (2/5): - I liked the price but I guess you get what you pay for. There was nothing inviting about the room at all. It was old, rundown, mold in the shower, old dingy towels, stains on the bed. If I could I’d ask for my money back.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Place Ever... - It was horrible. There was no parking in the lot or on the street. Room was dirty and smelled horrible. There was patches in the walls. Restroom was disgusting. This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. And when mentioned to the owner she said sorry and walked away. Very disappointed.
- Glenda (10/5): - There were long black hairs in the tube area. But if was clean. Next time I will request a bottom floor.
