The cabin is really cozy and well stocked and super convenient to the Spit which includes great fishing the Salty Dawg for a great place to grab a cold one, and Captain Patty's famous clam chowder!!! The cabin could use a soup pot😁

Christopher (9/5): It was the perfect place for my first stay in Homer! - The views and the cabin layout. The propane tank was low, so maintaining heat and pressure to cook was difficult, but I made it work. Having a stove top or small oven would have been a bonus but it wasn't necessary to make the stay any better than it already was.

Nice and very friendly staff We booked for 5 people and the cabin was only prepared for four. I don't know where this went wrong, but the staff gave it's best to get us a folding bed for the 5th person. So everything ok.

Larry (10/5): Amazing view - The cabins have an amazing view of Homer and Kachemak Bay. The hot tub and fire pit are nice outdoor amenities. We've stayed there several times and will do so again next trip.
Lori (9/5): Superb - Cabins were clean, cozy and well equipped. They setup a play yard for our grandson. All was well inside the cabins. Unfortunately, there was a lot of dog feces in the grassy areas off of the back deck areas, making the area off limits to our grandchildren. Otherwise, no complaints. We enjoyed our getaway.

The only negative was the hot tub was not operational, which I was looking forward to after long workdays. The host offered the use of the hot tub at another property they manage up the road but that wasn't very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

David (9/5): Idylic cabins with great hosts. Would give it 10/10 if it wasn't for the road noise. - A whole cabin to yourself for the price of a hotel room. It's keyless entry so the host just has to program a key code for you. There's a saltwater hot tub and stunning views across the fjords to the mountains, both from the hot tub and your own patio. Great hosts, beautiful cabin with the best gas powered fireplace I've ever seen as the heating source. The only thing that could be better is if a sound barrier wall is built to protect the cabins from the road noise. Giant tractor trailers run up and down the highway all night long and they're VERY loud. Even with noise cancelling sleep phones they occasionally woke us up.

Plenty of windows to soak in the views very nicely furnished and felt like I was in somebody’s private cabin. Brand new large washer and dryer. Even had laundry detergent for us.Nice selection of coffees for us. The kitchen is well furnished. Very nice hot tub, which we enjoyed Really enjoyed the fire circle complete with a ton of well cut logs That we only booked one day!

Jason (10/5): - Enjoyed our 2 night stay at the raven cabin. Second time staying here. Wished weather was nicer but we had a great time inside. Used the hottub. Only negative was we ran out of tp but I'm sure we could have gotten more but didn't ask. Would be nice though for a spare roll in the cabin.

Carol (10/5): Best Lodging in Homer Area - Fabulous place to stay. Peaceful, clean, comfortable with spectacular ocean, mountain and volcano views. This is where we always stay when visiting Homer.

Anonymous (4/5): Rude owners that live on property - The views where nice The staff where very rude and very demanding with lots of rules and the bluff was very dangerous and the cabin didn’t have a porch light not the most relaxing stay we have ever had.

Sarah (10/5): - We were so happy with our stay in the Alaska Suites cabins. The view was amazing, the cabin was clean, and extra bonus of a wood stove (the primary heating)! We will definitely come back!
Kelsey (10/5): Beautiful family retreat - Our kids loved the popcorn and hot chocolate that was added to the welcome basket, which was an excellent touch. The cabin included its own electric fireplace that was super helpful not only to keep us warm but to try off our clothes after being in the rain touring the town. Additionally, we appreciated the access to a water hose to rinse out our coolers from sand. I wish the hot tub had a pergola type structure so that it is more enjoyable even during the Alaskan in climate weather.
Jan (9/5): Beautiful view, quiet clean cabins. Just perfect. - Beautiful view overlooking the ocean, perfect location just outside of Homer. Nice to have a firepit and picnic table to enjoy the view. Full kitchen and laundry is also a nice option. We will return when we can stay longer.

Sarahnich (10/5): We had a fantastic stay at Alaskan Suites and wish we could have stayed longer! - Everything about this stay was fantastic. The Raven cabin was in perfect shape upon our arrival, they called us to let us know our cabin was ready ahead of time, provided the door code as soon as the cabin was available, the view was fantastic, access to the hot tub/grill/fire pit were added bonuses. The beds were the most comfortable we experienced during our week in Alaska! The cabins are a few miles from the spit but a quick drive. We could have stayed longer! Overall, our family of 4 would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to spend a few days in Homer. Nothing. Everything was fantastic!

Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - The Raven cabin was absolutely gorgeous. The kids loved the bunk beds and the open area was beautiful. You will not find better views of the water and mountains, this place exceeded every expectation. The hostess gave us the code the day of arrival so that there wasn’t any waiting around and it was so clean. They also left items such as laundry detergent, dish soap, coffee, popcorn, hot cocoa and much more that made th stay perfect.

Alyssa (10/5): - This place is absolutely incredible. Wasn’t sure if I’d use the hot tub but decided to after we got here. The view from up on the hill is simply stunning. I was also laying in bed looking out the window around 11 pm and a moose walked by about 15 ft from the window. It’s clean and they are so friendly and helpful.
