Guest Reviews
- Quevillon (10/5): - Quiet and very clean Nothing
- RANDY (10/5): A very quiet, cozy and comfortable stay with a great breakfast and helpful host. - Location, comfortable furnishings, quiet, and very accommodating. Possibly the driveway leading to parking area could be smoothed out (perhaps paved).
- Karen (10/5): A great place to stay. - A lovely oasis in Campbellford. Kim is exceptional in making one feel at home in this special B&B. Nothing.
- Yvonne (5/5): Lovely place but won’t return as the noise from other tenants was just too much - Super location and the rooms were lovely The other tenants were loud at night and didn’t seem to care that there were other people in the home
- Daria (10/5): -
- Krystal (10/5): 100% would recommend for a cozy bed and breakfast :) - Kimberly was excellent in communicating regarding our stay - always made sure to double check with dietary preferences and welcoming to her kitchen to make you feel at home.
- Sharon (9/5): Special spot - Lovely comfortable bnb with a delicious breakfast and friendly staff. No complaints!
- Kathryn (9/5): Lovely period place - A lovely vintage house with some antique furniture. Great breakfast and the host was most welcoming. Great location close to some fabulous restaurants in a lovely small town.
- Jodi (10/5): -
- Angela (10/5): Perfect Inn, Perfect Stay, BEST Homemade Breakfasts! - Amazing Historic Inn right in the heart of the town of Campbellford. Walking distance to grocery store, pubs, drug store and the main part of town.
The Homemade Breakfasts by Kimberly were AMAZING. She would ask what time you wanted breakfast and it would be ready for you as soon as you came down to the fine dining table, already set up for breakfast.
The beds were super comfortable as was the bedding.
This charming home is a MUST stay if you want to be in Campbellford. Kimberly is the best host. Everything was great

- Dianne (10/5): - The Emilyville Inn is a gorgeous old home. The wide plank pine floors and antique furniture were impressive. Kimberly, our hostess, was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival.
She showed us around before taking us to our room, which was just lovely. We had a great night's sleep and a wonderful "full" breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend a stay here. Thank you, Kimberly!
- Lorraine (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Emilyville Inn. Our host, Kimberly, was friendly and very helpful. She made an amazing breakfast and shared some interesting stories about the history of the house and the town on Campbellford. An easy walk to explore the town. Wish we.could have stayed longer!
- Barb (10/5): - Wonderful time, lovely breakfast. Kimberley went out of her way to make our visit amazing.
- Doug (8/5): - The stay was great, much too noisy as 30 feet off busy main road hwy. 50-38.
Her...Kimberlys courteous manner was exceptional. She made a huge breakfast the next morning.
Would recommend but bring earplugs for bedtime.
- Christopher (10/5): - We were treated like royalty. Breakfast was fantastic.
- Cobina (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was generous and delicious.
- Victoria (9/5): Super B&B en route to Ottawa/Toronto - Our hostess made our stay - she communicated really well with us; made us a super breakfast and shared
interesting information about the area. It's a small b&b, with each room being themed - ours was the African room and decorated with some African items. So a bit different in a nice way.
Theres a good circular walk right from the front door which takes you alongside the water, across a suspension bridge and into the Ferris Provincial Park if you fancy a leg stretch. I'm a light sleeper so was glad of ear plugs as the road to front does start to get busy in the morning.
- Sandee (8/5): Really appreciated the location, communication and flexible timing. - Really appreciated her communication. Breakfast was fine.
- Ryan (10/5): - My wife and I stayed there for a night in the Honeymoon room. Amenities were great, Kimberly was extremely welcoming and accomodating. She texted ahead of our stay to ask about our meal preferences, and was available and replied promptly to any questions we had. Our room was clean and private. There was a nice little rooftop patio that we very much enjoyed hanging out on to end our evening. The home itself is charming and beautiful. The breakfast was far beyond our expectations. Amazing meal- and we will try our best to recreate those potatoes! If we are ever in that area again we will certainly be staying at Emilyville Inn. Had an amazing stay,

- Mcmillan (8/5): Still well worthy of our recommendation as great accomodation. - Almost everything. As a senior lady, I was a bit intimidated by the bathtub - no grab bars to help climb in and out and the glass half door was a barrier.
Would have liked more tabletop space to put things and some hooks or a line over the top to hang hand laundry.
- Tiziano (8/5): Very good - 3xcellent breakfast. Family atmosphere
1 bedroom and 1 living room available for me only. Free access to the kitchen At my arrival I waited for a while to talk with tha manager, who arrived later

You have to be careful when getting in and out of the shower/bath it’s not made for short people
- Cathryn (10/5): - We really loved this place. It’s an old house with plenty of character. We were impressed with the hot water on demand and wall air conditioner/heating unit…and unlike many other places we’ve stayed, it was quiet!
The house itself is on a fairly busy road, which we are not used to. We just made sure we had ear plugs to deal with the traffic (something you probably would never notice if the city is your home.
It’s well within strolling distance to the downtown area (enjoyed the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning) and stocked up on pastries, chocolate and cheese before coming home. We were offered choices for breakfasts (nothing to complain about there!) and dinner at Antonia’s was amazing.
Our host, Kimberly, could not have been more welcoming and anxious to ensure we had a good stay.
We would gladly come back!
