• Lynne (6/5): Would recommend for the beer, restaurant and friendly staff. The hotel room felt drab and in need of an update but was - The main draw was the brewery and restaurant on site. Good beer, food and friendly staff. The room felt outdated. Probably not a good idea to put the AC unit above the side of the bed - I cracked my head on it when I got up in the night.

• Linda (1/5): they need disabled parking for inn guest not just for pub patrons - The problem we had was parking My husband is.disabled and there was no disabled parking spots for inn.guests There was no parking available any where around the inn. As a result we were unable to stay and return home. Very disappointing

• Andreas (7/5): Rude Receptionist - Rooms and location was great Well the the receptionist was rude and I show her the reservation that was fully paid and she said , she had to charge us because it was not paid. I insisted showing her the reservation and said if u guys are staying here until have to pay it as it doesn't show on system. So as we where traveling from Mexico and our first night in Canada we had to pay again and next day the manager showed up and said they will give us money back and it been 6 days and still show on my credit card.

• Patricia (4/5): What Do You Expect for Friday the 13. - I like the location, the dry sauna and the bef was clean and comfortable. The place needs a lot of renovations. The carpets are dirty the room was dingy. The hot water was warm, knobs missing on drawers, not what you would expect for over $200 a night

• Colin (9/5): Stayed many times; will stay many times more - my home away from home. - The rooms are great but the pub downstairs makes the stay so comfortable - friendly staff in the hotel and pub ensure a great stay every time (I've stayed here many many times)and the menu in the pub is full of excellent choices. I wish there was a lvl 2 EV charging station nearby, but that's not the hotel's fault :)
• E (8/5): So cute and cozy! - The room and restaurant were just like the description and pictures, and all amenities were available (yay mini fridge!). Loved that continental breakfast and the sauna were included! Street parking made it easy to come and go, and the location is prime if you too enjoy a post-dinner stroll about town.

• Gilda (7/5): It's not bad, they can improve it, if they want to. - The location was great, the size of the room was good for the 2 of us. We like the brewery restaurant, food was good. The room was clean. They offer the basic to stay. The thing that bothered me most was the A/C–heater noise. We couldn’t leave it on all night, and it was very cold. When we had to turn it on in the middle of the night, we couldn’t sleep until we turned it off again, and it took a long time to heat the room. Another issue was that the bed wasn’t very comfortable. The shower pressure was also weak. Water kept leaking from the faucet, which reduced the pressure to the showerhead. They said they offer a continental breakfast until 10:30, but before 10:00 the table was already cleaned and empty. I would say it’s just a place to sleep, if you can. It looks like a place that could be really nice, but it feels like management has given up. When you only take money from a business and stop investing in it, it starts to decline.

• dkuhrt (8/5): Ideal location to stay on our last day of our Whistler ski trip - location of Inn in same buiding as brewery/pub/eatery and away from downtown and the highway. Wall between rooms could be better soundproofed. Could hear conversation in next room. heat pump in room noisy. We turned it off so we could sleep. Also adjusted it from cooling to heat. Odd that it was still set for fall in December. Cold air came in where heat pump pipe goes outside. Needs to be caulked or stuffed with TP.

• Heike (9/5): Our two night stay at the Howe Sound Inn & Brewing Company in Squamish was overall excellent. - The Howe Sound Inn & Brewing Company is located near the head of Howe Sound and the mouth of the Squamish River at the corner of Cleveland Ave. and Vancouver St. From this location it was easy to access public parks - Spa'kw'us Feather Park and Skwelwil'em Squamish Estuary Wildlife Management Area - as well as the town centre with its shops and restaraunts. The associated brew pub has a great menu and a good selection of Howe Sound beer on tap. We were able to make it to the Watershed Grill and Backcountry Brewery. Hiked in Alice Lake Provincial Park. Overall, It was a great relaxing weekend. N/A

• Violet (7/5): A great location! - Squamish BC is beautiful, and therefore the location was in a prime spot where you could walk downtown to restaurants and cafés and shops. I particularly booked this hotel because of the location, but I also like the sauna which was not working, the elevator was not working, and the breakfast was one of those breakfasts that you help yourself to dry cereal, some fruit, and baked goods. I find personally (my opinion) in the mountains if they offered a nice hot breakfast of say just bread and eggs. It would do so much better for business rapport.

We went to the onsite restaurant for appetizers and pre dinner drinks, then returned at our reservation time for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the restaurant. Service was great, with very friendly staff and all the food was super tasty!

• Stephanie (6/5): Stay at Howe Sound Inn for the Location and Views But... - The location is perfect in downtown Squamish. Easy to walk to everything with amazing views. This is the validation for the price paid. Super hot showers and very clean facilities. The new heating systems are loud and make it difficult to sleep. (And generally I can sleep through anything) The bathrooms are just ok and could use a refresh. The rooms are not great at blocking sound and we were yelled at by our neighbours for just talking in the room. Considering the inn is in a brewery, there aren't many common areas to congregate unless you want to pay more. This was funny because they did advertise that board games were available to rent but there wasn't really anywhere to play them. The brewery itself is just ok. There are definitely better options for drinks and food in Squamish and area.

They look to have been there a while so we decided not to touch them. ) There were also no sheets on the daybed in the window seat but our babies with us in this trip were 4-legged and didn’t care. All this to say the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and it’s kind of a novelty to have the restaurant downstairs be an actual brewery. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not fancy, but kind of fun

The Inn is conveniently located, and parking was abundant. We wish the room had been more brightly lit, and that there was more substance to the continental breakfast. That said, we would choose to stay at Howe Sound Inn and Brewing Company again.

• Alexander (4/5): Disappointing hotel at the price - The hotel is in a good location with free parking opposite. We were in room 1 which is next to the bar area. This was really noisy until closing time with loud music and TVs. We could have taken part in the pub quiz from our bed. The rooms are adequate but dated, the shower makes a terrible loud noise when running. The bed was however comfortable Breakfast was very poor, something you'd expect from a backpackers 20 years ago. At £200 a night this was a very poor hotel, we wouldn't come back or recommend, a refund would be more appropriate
• M (2/5): Overpriced with cold showers. - The location. There was only one temperature in the shower: cold! You might get 10% off at the restaurant but you get way better and more food for a fraction of the price at the food truck a few meters away. The breakfast is also a joke. We had better breakfast at motels that didn't even cost half as much.. In summary, very overpriced kind of run down and definitely not a recommendation.

Continental Breakfast was disappointing. At least pot of coffee with real cream or tea with real milk would have been nice.
• Janelle (6/5): - The hotel is well located, walking distance to a lot of great cafes and breweries. The bed was super comfortable, and the addition of the AC is a great touch. There were some more disappointing things. For one, there was no bathroom fan which was surprising. Our bathroom door also did not close. The most disappointing thing was the single flush toilet, using 14L per flush. For a property that prides themself on being eco friendly (ie. only cleaning rooms and towels when requested) this is kind of surprising. We would strongly suggest you consider this.
