Nous avons eu de fortes odeurs d'égout tout au long de notre séjour, et il n'y a pas de volets, le logement donnant sur une terrasse partagée, cela peut manquer d'intimité et nous avons été réveillés tôt par le soleil.

Bon petit déjeuner avec plusieurs terrasses avec vue sur la mer, et mention spéciale à l’employée en charge du petit déjeuner ! Globalement, l’ambiance des chambres est assez vieillotte. Le mobilier et le équipements commencent à être vétustes. La literie n’est pas folle. Le ménage de la chambre a été fait sommairement le 2eme jour du séjour. Le personnel pourrait être encore plus accueillant et chaleureux.

Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική, καθώς βρίσκεται στον κεντρικό δρόμο και σε γλιτώνει από την ταλαιπωρία με σκαλιά ή δύσβατα μονοπάτια. Το δωμάτιο, αν και μικρό γενικά, θεωρώ πως ήταν αρκετά καλό για την τιμή του. Διέθετε και ένα μικρό μπαλκονάκι, πολύ cozy για να πιεις τον καφέ σου με θέα. Επειδή το δωμάτιο έβλεπε στον πίσω κήπο, ο οποίος είναι κοντά στον χώρο του πρωινού, υπήρχε λίγη φασαρία τις πρωινές ώρες, χωρίς όμως να γίνεται απαραίτητα ενοχλητική. Το θετικό με αυτό, βέβαια, ήταν πως ήμασταν δίπλα στο πρωινό. Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν εξαιρετική από την πρώτη στιγμή. Η κυρία στη reception μας συνόδευσε μέχρι το δωμάτιο και μας πρότεινε δραστηριότητες και μέρη που θα μπορούσαμε να επισκεφτούμε. Γενικώς, θα έλεγα πως είναι μια πολύ καλή επιλογή, ειδικά αν το ζητούμενο είναι κάτι πρακτικό, με επαρκείς παροχές σε λογική τιμή

If you are looking for a place to relax and restore, I high - The hotel is beautifully restored, with views out to the ocean and windows that let you wake to the sounds of the sea. We were in a spectacular room in the mansion. I found such a lovely space very hard to leave on the day of departure. Highly recommend, just beautiful. We were a group with one party in a separate building. That does mean the other side of the town, not next door! There are also about 50 steps down to the mansion with steps of varying heights. You have to climb these and then walk across town for breakfast. For the weak knee’d people who don’t do well before coffee and breakfast it is a daunting experience every morning!!

- Gerald (8/5): Our next visit to Monemvasia will include a stay here. - The hotel is in Monemvasia, the oldest surviving fortress-town in Greece. The tourist industry has made a revival of the town possible, with houses being restored and (in some cases) converted into hotels. The town is a wonderful maze of small alleys and passageways, opening into beautiful views across the Laconian Gulf. The upper city is an impressive archeological site. I’m unfortunately taller than the population for which this town was built. 😁 I always had to watch and remember to duck.

- JQ (6/5): Perfect village but dark accommodation - There are 3 different buildings belonging to the same hotel. This one (Stellaki building) is close to the entrance of the village although difficult for people with mobility problems. The village is amazing. The most recent building of the hotel (at the very end of the village – Malvasia building) is used for the breakfast which was very good, with a nice atmosphere. The room were we stayed was rather dark and not really comfortable for a stay in the winter. Maybe in the summer, when it is really hot, it may be comfortable but definitely not in the cold months. Reasonable comfort but nothing really cosy. Complicated distribution of room, living room and bathroom (this one with some steps down and very low door). If we knew it was so dark we would have paid a bit more and stayed in the most recent Malvasia building at the end of the village. The second night we had toilet flush noises the whole night from the room above which didn’t let us sleep.

- 9c6e6cd7321271da8435e7b53a559fdb (8/5): A very pretty town - Breakfast was superb. The position is great even .though it rained almost all the time we stayed. The town is lovely though we were there when it was very quiet, I am not sure how nice it would be if it was crowded The room was a lot smaller than the pictures suggest, not a problem if you could use the small terrace but cramped if 2 people are trying to get comfortable. The worst thing was the sachets of Nescafe! A small investment in either a cafetière or a pod machine would be good.

- yaiza (9/5): Repetiríamos sin pensarlo - Las vistas desde la terraza eran muy bonitas, la cama es muy cómoda y el desayuno es variado y con productos de buena calidad y del país Si hay que decir algo es que hay que entrar al pueblo y llegar casi al final con unas calles empedradas que son algo molestas para la maleta, pero no hay otra si quieres alojarte dentro de Monemvasia

- Andreas (9/5): Sehr gemütlich direkt in der Altstadt - Liegt super inmitten der Altstadt (Burg) von Malvasia. An sich top Aussicht - bei uns war im April leider das Wetter dermassen schlecht, dass man kaum vor die Tür kam. Zum glück hatten eir einen Kamin im zimmer und konnten es uns gemütlich machen. Rezeption übersieht man schnell (Achtung Beschreibung aufmerksam lesen) . Auf Grund der Lage in der Altstadt mit den Koffern etwas anstrengend.
- Jennifer (10/5): Lovely historic stay - Amazing view, such a historic hotel! Nice bed, amenities, shower. We also LOVED the breakfast. The breakfast room had amazing views! They can’t control this, but the walk up from the parking area is long 🤣

- Henrik (10/5): - Had an apartment with a balcony right on the wall towards the sea. Spacious, good quality and atmosphere. Main hotel is at the other end of the city, but it is a short walk through the city which you have to see anyway
