• Robert (4/5): - Das Management war so freundlich, dass sie bereit waren mir einen Großteil der vorausbezahlten Buchungskoten zurückzuzahlen. Ich bin nach einer Nacht wieder ausgezogen. Ich hatte den Fehler gemacht, mir nur den Übernachtungspreis anzuschauen. Jedoch steht eindeutig in der Beschreibung, dass die Toilette auf dem Flur ist. Ebenfalls die Gemeinschaftsdusche. Selber falsch gebucht! Tja, sag nichts dazu!

• Paul (1/5): I am amazed that you would advertise rooms that is misleading and NOT fit for purpose. - The manager was understanding that we were not happy with the accommodation. • Pungent smell in the hallway, bedroom and bathroom areas. • Misleading and deceptive advertising. The room listed online is spacious, clean, airy, and includes a wardrobe with drawers and a chair. • The actual room is small and narrow and less airy than the room advertised. There is no wardrobe with drawers to store clothes neatly and there is no chair in the room. Paint is peeling from the walls indicating it hasn’t been painted for years, and the walls feel dirty to touch. The old carpet tiles have a funny odor whilst the roller blind is separated at the bottom. In addition, the window is dirty on the outside and appears not to be cleaned for a while. • The pictures of the bathroom online are shown when it was originally renovated. However, it is in a poor state now with cheap rectifications carried out over the years. This is evident by the repairs to the bathroom sink on the wall and the floor. The window is filthy and dust is evident at the upper wall tiles edge. It is not fit for purpose. • Regarding the bath area, this was when my son and I realized that we wouldn’t be staying here for three nights as it too did have a pungent smell and is also due for renovation. Note: The pictures on your website attached were taken from my camera and therefore are blurry. Please refer to your website for your pictures

Comfy beds, nice linen, poofy pillows, AC room, Both times I have stayed the room has faced the street, and room is oddly/extremely "soundproof" from the traffic outside, quiet for sleeping-in-relaxing and dark with the blind shut, shared bathrooms are kept very well, shampoo and bodywash station, "in-shower" provided, beer's cold, staff are friendly, security staff on-hand for assurance also, parking is easy, Pool tables, big screens in lounge area. Train station right out front. Plenty of food places nearby. Central location to many things I needed to get to. Love the place. Hard to be picky when all was so great. Specifically with the Hotel, once a month it wouldn't hurt to have the windows all professionally cleaned inside and out. You want to look though a clean glass window. "All the windows" and the room windows. Just a suggestion.

The aircorn, the water was falling in night as it disturbed my sleep. I really did not like the room as it didn't met my expectations.

• Michael (5/5): See you never Toongabie Hotel - The location made it easy to get to the inner city by train. There were plenty of shops close by and some great Indian, Sri Lankan and Malay eateries. The overpowering stench of cigarettes hit you the moment you walked into the building. Walls were chipped and scratched. There was paint peeling on the walls and ceiling. There were no cooking or meal prep facilities. The reality definitely did match what was offered.

• annette (1/5): Relieved to leave! - The location of the accommodation to public transport ! The first thing was the smell in the room, the dirty tissues under the bed in room 12, no air con remote in room 12, the hotel gave us the remote for the bar area and told us to keep it, but then went in the room when we was out to take it back. Room 11 the blind was filthy and the rooms both smelt like they hadn't been opened or even stayed in in years, room 11 had no towels and we didn't find this out until we got back at 11pm from our event, without a single would around this place we could not get a towel, it would be handy if they had a rack in the bathroom with towels and floor mats on them to be able to use, instead 2 towels had been folded up on the floor and you put the provided bath mat on top of that! When i finally was able to shower - the next afternoon, the floor of the cubicle was disgusting (i took videos) i wiped my towel over the grime and it was full of dirt, hair and god knows what else. The most disgusting place i have ever experienced

• paul (7/5): Pub style accommodation that delivers exactly what it says. - As long as you know it's pub accommodation, with shared bathroom, its fine. room was okay and clean, bed good, tv and aircon and fridge good. no issues. bathroom and shower is good, despite it being MANY years old. no complaints there. oh and the staff were excellent at explaining it all. access is tricky, from the front there is no carpark, and the location can be a little confusing.

• Andrew (9/5): Night (the start) of our lives - All staff involved with checking in were fantastic - polite, friendly, explained facilities clearly and the room was everything we needed for a clean and quiet place to sleep for the night. Only tiny thing ended up being the best was too soft but omg I feel lame mentioning it. My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic weekend we couldn't have had without this awesome pub accommodation! Bed was a little too soft. Really comfortable until wake up. Petty whinging really

Not to mention the staff where rude and not really interested in patrons and there safety or well being. One of the worst experience I've had in a motel never again! Not recommended

It felt old and poorly maintained, which made the whole stay unpleasant. Cleanliness and comfort are the basics, and unfortunately, this place failed on both. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to anyone looking for a restful or quality stay

Plugs mostly doesn't work and located at uncomfortable places. Cannot do self check in. Check in closes on Sunday at 9:30 although in booking.com states 11:30.

It felt quite clean and put together well. The stairs with no other access sucked a little. And only one shower in the shared accomodation made it a little hard to leave on time for our app
