Propreté impeccable, plage à proximité. Nous avons fait de belles rencontres et nous espérons vraiment revenir l'année prochaine !! Attendez vous à vivre à "la Dominicaine", tout est simple, chaleureux et agréable !! Nous ne sommes pas dans un hôtel comme à Punta Cana, mais personnellement c'est ce que nous apprécions !! The Hotel provides lounging chairs and tables for their guest . They have drinks and food service brought to you in the beach area , it’s very safe because they have their own security people that cater to the guests and very attentive. You also have the pool if you wish not to go to the beach. It’s a small hotel the hotel has 100% constant cleaning by the maids . The breakfast is included . The breakfast is limited to any style eggs , toast, fruit, coffee juice only. You can order eggs and ham . The rooms were ok , in my room the tv had a screen problem you could only see have of the TV . It was brought to their attention there is a $100 us deposit for any room damage that they charge you CC but when it’s time check out and everything is ok please make sure you get the reversal of credit on your card on the deposit and the receipt to avoid any problems . Other then that everyone in the hotel and other guests very nice the staff professional, helpful on many ways. The hotel is inexpensive so for the money it was fine , safe, clean oh!! The hotel is a restaurant so they offer food for pay reasonable prices and the food was delicious. I had fried chicken with plantains and shrimp with spaghetti food was tasty and delicious 👍 Don’t really have any complaints because to be a small hotel It was very accommodating for the price , safe and the staff the food was good . Only hiccup was the tv in my room had lines couldn’t see the screen they need to change it. Other then that I recommend you go if you are on a budget and want to go to the famous Boca Chica beach in Santo Domingo one of the finest beaches in the Dominican Republic where you can walk one mile or more in in the beach and the water level is at your waist and the waters are crystal clear blue with white sand and always calm like a pool with no waves👍 it’s a pool beach for sure . You will love and your family too 🇩🇴❤️🇩🇴❤️🇩🇴❤️🇩🇴

- claire (8/5): Le calme, la beauté du site avec vu sur la mer, la plage directe sur le site, les employés avenants - Le petit déjeuné était très bien, il ne manquait que du bacon de temps en temps on aurait aimé mais c'était quand même très bien. Les employés étaient supers agréables et professionnels comme Octavio, Alberto, Junior etc nous avons reçu un service impeccable, c'était la 3eme fois que nous allions à votre établissement et ça s'améliore d'une fois à l'autre, nous pensons bien y retourner. Tout est très propre partout. Partout où nous allons dans les hôtels en République Dominicaine, l'eau en bouteille est fournie gratuitement, avant dans votre hôtel Zapata c'était inclus mais maintenant nous devons payer les bouteilles d'eau 50 pesos tandis qu'elle se vendent 25 pesos en ville, de plus ce n'est pas indiqué à nulle part, vous devriez indiquer vos prix pour l'eau et les liqueurs sur le réfrigérateur, ce n'est pas réellement un question de prix mais vos clients devraient le savoir puisqu'on pense que c'est gratuit. Dans les salles de bain en général il manque de tablettes pour placer nos choses personnelles.

The staff was amazing, very friendly, and helpful. Special shoutout to Roberto, one of the owners, for making our stay easy and smooth. Also love the food .. they fried fish was amazing .. Honestly, not much. Everything was great overall and the experience was very positive.

- David (10/5): Excellent beach resort - The hotel managers speak perfect English. The room is as clean and had one of the best showers I have seen in a hotel with very hot water. You are on the beach and there is a good restaurant 100 feet from the hotel. Boca chica has protected shore so you can wade out 100 yards easily. It is a safe beach area. I wish I had stayed longer. Very crowded on weekends but Monday to Thursday is amazing

The breakfast was great, and the dinner, made to order, offered nice options to choose from. We also loved that the prices were very reasonable. The owner, Marta, is incredibly kind and helpful. She is always ready to assist — whether it’s exchanging money, helping with transportation, or giving advice on where to go. Her support made our stay even more enjoyable. - Isidra Berenice (2/5): Pésima.TOTALMENTE DESAGRADABLE - Solo el servicio de algunos empleados: Hansel y otro joven que sirve en el Bar. Es higiénico el lugar. Está al frente de la Playa Primero en la página no dice que hay que dejar un depósito de 6 mil pesos por habitación ( Reservé 2). Este depósito lo perdí porque mi Banco NUNCA vió reflejado el Depósito, que tal vez quedó enganchado y los del Banco del Hotel dicen que sí salió de la cuenta. Pero la dueña del Hotel cuando averigua con su Banco pone que se hizo la transferencia el 16/10/25, le explico que llegué el 18 y salí el 19 y por lo tanto la transferencia fue el 19 y no el 16, por lo que me hastíó tanto averiguar y no conseguir nada, porque me pareció que si hacía la reclamación con la fecha correcta, tal vez obtengo mi dinero... pero lo perdí ( 12,000). Tampoco me había sucedido que me pidieran depósito en ningún sitio anteriormente, que han Sido mucho mejores. Estas habitaciónes son mucho más pequeñas que en otros sitios a los que había ido ( tengo 7 años tomando alojamientos con Booking), y llenas de muchas restricciones. Además uno tiene que acostarse muy temprano. Antes de la 9:00 pm. el vigilante comenzó a apagar las luces y tuvimos que acostarnos, al ratito lo escuchamos en el Pasillo como para comprobar que todos estuviéramos encerrados ( como si fuera un Internado de Monjas), cabe señalar que cuando apagó las luces, estaba yo con mis hijos, y la esposa de uno de ellos, conversando amenamente. Pero antes ( más o menos 2 horas) cuando ordenamos algo para cenar...estaban apagadas las luces y tuve que encender la Linterna del celular, hasta que la dueña al ver lo que hice, les dijo que enciendan la luz. Tampoco me gustó que los dueños ( a veces ambos, o solo la Sra. ), siempre están cerca como si estuvieran vigilando, a parte de lo poco amables que son Tampoco me gustó, que en la tarde, para que limpien la Piscina, hay que anunciar que uno la quiere usar. De lo contrario pareció que no lo hacen por costumbre. Este Hotel JAMÁS se lo recomendaría a nadie: mejor el Calypso que tiene muy muy buen servicio, el Neptuno o algún otro en Juan Dolio. Más de una Estrella no le doy

I only have 3 suggestions: 1- to put a handle on the pool. 2- to have more "criollo" menu options. 3- to keep a good amount of Coke Zero available. The place felt like I was visiting my old relatives' house. So cozy, perfectly decorated and the cleanliness was impecable! I'll definitely stay there my next trip to DR.

- Silvia (10/5): Serene , safe and perfect for anyone looking to really relax - I loved that the property was right on the beach. The hotel has tables and chairs as soon as you walk out to the beach and if you ask them they’ll bring out beach beds for you. The property is older but it’s well maintained and definitely gives you old school island vibes. With old paintings and wooden sculptures it reminded me of my grandmothers house growing up. If I could change one thing I just wish the menu was a bit more diverse and had more options. But the few options they do have are delicious my daughters were obsessed with the shrimp pasta. On our last night I had the tilapia and it was probably the best fish I ever had.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Juneteenth stay - The location of the stay was perfect, literally steps from the beach--we were thankful for that. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff is A-1. The only problem I can say there is with the place, is the size of the beds. If you're on the smaller side, you have nothing to worry about. But if you're on the bigger side and plan on sharing a bed, you better choose a bigger bed

- Delmar (10/5): The best - The place was excellent, great location off the beach I mean 100 ft from your room. It was clean, staff was amazing making sure your time there was pleasant and wonderful. Even the water in shower was hot. It’s nothing I can say bad about this place. The manager speaks fluent English and keep the place clean. If I’m ever back in Boca Chica this is my home away from home. If It’s not the Sheraton or Hilton. But it’s very clean and staff was great. But you not paying Sheraton or Hilton money either.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - We always come here at least twice a year. The location is great, best beach in Boca Chica, next to the public beach which is usually pretty empty. The new owners are going strong on improving the property. 👍 It's a great place, the staff is awesome, rooms are clean. We live in NJ and Santo Domingo, when we are on the island we make sure to visit. Muy Bien 👍

- Tairys (10/5): Cant wait to go back. - Excellent location and the staff is amazing, the facilities are not what you go there for so don’t expect 5 stars but maybe 3 stars establishment. But there is a fabulous restaurant and beach club next door that makes it all worth it and the hotel beach is unbelievable.

- Sergei (9/5): Superb - Great location - beach front. Friendly staff always ready to help, for instance, bringing the sun lounger right to the beach :) The attached photo made on the hotel beach territory. Rooms with windows to the street could be noisy. Definitely take the see view rooms.

- billbO6803JV (10/5): CHARMING, COMFORTABLE, island authentic, beach front! - We spent a week working / VolunTouring with a local NGO "Cambiando Vidas," building a home for the needy. Looking for a beach hotel to kick-back & RELAX, for a few days, ... and found THIS GEM! Right on the water! Small, family-run hotel. Super clean! Super nice & friendly staff. Nice little (basic) breakfast included. Lots of patio seating and loung chairs for both sun and shade, as needed. Convenient walk to shops and restaurants and only 20 minutes to/from the airport. It is NOT luxurious but it was really QUITE CHARMING, COMFORTABLE and INVITING! Lodging was Very Economically priced. Many THANKS to the staff for a wonderfully RELAXING few days! p.s. we had one of the small suites (top floor) overlooking the hotel's grounds and beach area with a walkout balcony.
- Victor (2/5): - Horrible stay. Receptionist was not friendly. Went there with my elderly mother and we were placed on the third floor. Sink had a leak, shower curtain was too short, so the water from the shower got everywhere. Outdated windows, you can hear eveyone talking and laughing in the pool area and street. Music was blasting in the neighborhood until late. There’s a dog that barked the whole night. My mother brush her teeth and got sick. We stayed in other hotels in the area and this did not happen. The water smelled and tasted horrible, I’m lucky I did not get sick. Regret staying here.

La playa esta atras de la propiedad, durante el dia en los restaurantes esta lleno de gente, lamentablemente mucha basura en la arena. El area no es muy lindo. El hotel lo recomiento totalmente.

- Clay (7/5): Clea room in a great spot at a good price. - Clean, good AC, great location, nice staff, everything you need for a beachfront hotel on a beautiful beach. Sink and shower were below par. Everything Wales was great.
- Jabo8 (6/5): Gr8 Beach access - Located right off the beach, staff was friendly and accommodating. My mejor issue was the sparse breakfast selections. Despite asking for soft scrambled eggs Always hard. Ham and eggs meager ham. No jam or jelly. POS system sometimes would accept card other only cash
- Aida (10/5): - the best part of this property is its beach. From all the options at Boca Chica, this beach appears to be the cleanest, wide, walkable beach. We love the beach. The property also is clean and well kept. The local street area is somewhat rundown but we had no safety issues. We paid extra for a balcony facing the beach and a larger room and we were very happy that we did so. We asked the service to clean our room each day and that kept the bathroom smell down. The complementary breakfast was very good, and other meals can be cooked for a fee. The food was good. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
