• Brandon (8/5): - This location is in a great location. Step outside and there’s immediate shopping and dining. A bus and Uber hub is also right outside the door.
• Vesna (10/5): - The room was very cosy and charming. The location is excellent, inly steps away from the bustling Old Town Split. Parking at a nearby parking house was a slight challenge over the weekend, and the building does not have an elevator, but overall a great experience. I would definitely come back! I’d particularly like to thank the hosts for their hospitality. They were very helpful and professional.

• Scott (10/5): 200 steps to Diocletian's palace. Restaurants, grocery, coffee a few steps away . The Riva is a few minutes walk - Great location for the price. Very clean and modern. Spacious too. Looks like it had a complete renovation recently. There are 6 rooms total at this location. The web site pictures were accurate. The host was very helpful and gave us recommendations for restaurants etc. He was very prompt in responding to all messages. Taxi and Uber can drop you off at the door. No need to drag bags for blocks.
• James (8/5): Nice accommodation only steps from the historic section of town - Location for access to the old historic section of town was excellent. Unfortunately the location is close to a music venue that has loud music until late at night some nights.
• Ayan (9/5): - The rooms are quite big and its cleaned daily . The property is located right in the old town . All the top attractions like Marjan hill , Beaches are within the walking distance . Due to its prime location , you will hear quite a lot of noise from the streets at night .

The location was near all points of interests, the sea, restaurants and transportation.We felt safe at all hours. The concierge was available via Whatsapp very promptly and kindly helped us at odd hours when we lost our room card. The rooms are in an old building with stairs. If you have mobility issues or prefer a hotel per se, you might want to take this into consideration. We enjoyed our stay.

It is located right at the edge of the old town of Split and you just step out of the building and within 50 meters or so you are in the charming town. It was quiet although close to city activity. Very clean and spacious room. Very comfortable and modern interior. No complaints. Perfect for a short stay.

Also it’s at the edge of old town so it’s easier to get in and out of. Cabs can’t drive into old town from what I can tell. Somewhat noisy because of the bus stop around the corner
• Michael (10/5): Great location, excellent facilities, great host communication - Perfect location just next to the old town area, the room was fantastic, had everything I needed to have a great stay in Split. The area was quiet at night. There were ample excellent restaurants around for dinner and nice bakeries for morning pastries. The rainfall shower was one thing I will remember, it was really good and made a great way to end a busy day of sightseeing.

The room is modern and clean with everything you need. Highly recommend. The only complaint is that the fridge turns off when you’re not in the room so you wouldn’t be able to keep certain meat / dairy cold enough.

We were a couple staying in the Deluxe Double and it was perfect for our needs. There are no views from the spacious balcony but it was pleasant to sit out on an evening. My only addition would be a Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to music.

• Anna (8/5): Centrally located well appointed place, good internet, and super friendly host. - The location is great and the manager is very responsive to questions. I had 2 separate nights booked. The first room was very spacious and quiet. The second room was onto the busy street and not so quiet, with closed windows not a problem though. The accommodation is comfortable and easy to access and to find. It's extremely close to the city centre (1 min?) without beeing in the middle of it. I think all in all it was a very good place.

Any small issue we had she dealt with immediately even leaving us a complimentary bottle of wine. She helped with recommendations for attractions to see/ ferry timetables/ taxis etc. Room a little small for a longer stay.

• Yunong (10/5): Excellent experience - We stayed in Split for 4 nights, initially planning to stay only 3. However, Split was so beautiful that we decided to extend our stay. Valentina’s hotel has an incredible location—just a few minutes’ walk to the harbor, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and ice cream parlors nearby. You can even pop back to the room to change clothes before heading out for dinner. Everything was incredibly convenient. The room itself was perfect: plenty of hot water and excellent air conditioning. Valentina is an exceptionally nice host who provided us with great recommendations for local restaurants and travel tips. She was truly wonderful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel! If I ever return to Split, I would definitely choose this place again!

Only a short walk around the corner and you are in the midst of the beautiful city of Split. The bed was very a comfortable, the room lovely, and coming from a person who judges a hotel by the water pressure in the shower, Starlight Luxury Rooms definitely gets five stars from me! I would gladly stay here again and definitely recommend it to everyone.

It was situated right were the old town started so perfect. Spaciously room and bathroom Ther aircondition did not work as it should so the room did not get very cold, however I informed Valentina about this and she thanked me and said she would look into it. The main bed was comfortable, but the extra bed was really hard.
• Charlotte (5/5): Passable - Ended up cancelling and going some where else Location is just outside of the old town and the entrance was not very welcoming. It seemed dirty and cold. No elevator so have to carry heavy luggage up to 2nd floor
• Alexei (10/5): - The apartment is on the edge of old city but is still reachable by car to unload baggage. I got extremely lucky and found a free parking for 3 days. We had a spacious room with a fridge so we could have a breakfast in the room (there are two supermarkets and a bakery just around the corner). There is a cleaning service every day. Split in general is a fantastic place to be and we definitively be back!
• Scott (1/5): Do not stay at this property. What a terrible experience. - The location was great once you actually find the property. Our taxi driver was not familiar with the location so we walked around for 20 minutes until we found it. The staff on site for cleaning was exceptionally rude.

Good value for money. - Generally a really nice place and good deal Only ‘bad’ thing was that information about check-in procedure was unclear until a few hours before arrival. And that the communication with the staff was on both Booking.com messages and on phone (sms), which was a little confusing. And oh, finally one thing: The AC was not very efficient. It took several hours cooling down the room.

• Berit (5/5): Not safe. Third floor walkup. Would not stay again. - Good location. It is not safe. The door to the building (on the street) is open 24/7, as is the lock to the floor with apartments as it is permanently taped open. Basically your hotel room door without a security lock (easy to open for intruders) is accessible to anyone from the street. You can’t lock it from the inside. The room is located on a high third floor so it is a struggle with luggage. The decor is very dated Eastern bordello look, with purple shag carpet etc. The wifi was a struggle.

Location was perfect as it was in the vicinity of palace, restaurants, bars and shopping . This place is value for money if you consider staying in old town. We highly recommend this place.

• Lindsey (3/5): The room we had fell extremely flat. - Location was about it, I purchased this room under the impression I would have the white bed with the pink and it would be cute and comfy. Instead we got a dark room black ripped bed frame. No the same layout advertised and extremely loud from the bars. Ammenties, bed was not comfortable, no iron for clothes available, mini fridge didn't work, WiFi was a pain to connect.

• Felicia (8/5): Comfortable stay. Prompt service by staff which provided useful information for our stay, eg thing to do, where to eat a - Conveniently located just outside the old town. Hence, easy to access apartment via car. The apartments are located on the second floor, 4 flights of stairs up. Quite difficult to manage if you have large suitcases.

A little loud in the evening but once you close the windows it is absolutely fine. If you are driving by car it is a little hard to find parking but this is Split in general.

• Turnando (10/5): Close to old town! - It was centrally located to everything. The room was modern & very spacious. Valentina our host was very responsive and very helpful with a lot of tips. The checkin process was very easy. It doesn’t have a reception and requests for extra linens or pillow cases have to be done before 6pm which we didn’t know. It wasn’t a big deal. The room had darker velvet carpet which makes a little darker. Hopefully they can refresh the room with lighter colors.
• Stuart (9/5): A pleasant stay in a clean, comfortable location. - The location was great and the bed was comfortable. The entrance. The flights of stairs which were dirty and a bit creepy at night. However I guess when you are sharing space with several other properties, you may not have any control over that. We also had a problem getting online as the instructions were incorrect, but that was fixed quickly.

Recommended - Location and communication with host who provided suggestions of what to do and where to eat etc The centre of the old town can get noisy. However the property has shutters and double glazing which I suspect would have really reduced the noise if we’d realised! The host has said she’d point out to future guests . So I imagine the issue will no longer exist

• Silas (10/5): 100% will do it again - I'll address some of my main concerns before staying at this apartment: - When I booked this room I was a little worried by the possibility of noise from the streets to disturb my sleep, knowing that Split is a busy city. But I had two fantastic night sleep (Thursday and Friday), and although I could hear some noise from the street, nothing that could disturb me or preventing me of having a great night of sleep. I consider myself a person that gets disturbed very easily if there are noises at night. Granted, my stay was in October, not in August, so I cannot speak for the experience in August when streets are probably packed. - It is a second floor with no lifts. I don't have any issues with that. I can carry suitcases up the stairs. If you can't probably not for you. Stairs are wide and not a problem to climb. - Parking situation: I chose to park for free on the streets. If you look around Omiška ulica (15-20 min walk), you can find spots with some effort. Split is not an easy city to park for free. Otherwise, you can use the private parking that the hotel offers, or other parking garages in the city, but it will cost you around 25-30 euros per day. Other than the above, the apartment is flawless in my opinion. Location is unbelievable, comfort is top-notch. Hosts are great communicators, they will send you lots of tips, and you can always get in touch with them. Self check-in was super smooth. Nothing unexpected or particularly bad happened with my stay here.
