• Nemanja (8/5): - Die Anfahrt mit einem eigens gebuchten Transfer vom Flughafen aus, war sehr schwierig, da nicht alle Transportmittel in dieser Stadtzone zugelassen sind. Somit mussten wir umsteigen, um von einem in der Stadt zugelassenen Shuttle zum Hotel gefahren zu werden.

SO much NOISE from next door, wall Has no insulation and from street and THE LOUD praying from mosque! CANT SLEEP! The lobby and the entries building used Some sort of smell to make it smell better, but it was so strong you’ll start to have a headache. STAY AWAY
• Sumayra (10/5): Comfort elite hotel is very good value for money - The hotel is in the heart of the city and the room is not big at all but despite that we were fine to share a room with the limited space. Breakfast was ok but I would rather pay for a room only rate next time. The variety is fine for a turkish breakfast but not appealing to us in the morning. The coffee machine makes a good turkish coffee though so that's good. The metro is around the corner with really good connections to the ferry and majority of the tourist attractions. Grand bazaar is a 5 min walk away and there are good restaurants around the corner. The reception staff were very attentive and forthcoming with advise about travelling around istanbul and genuinely concerned about us if we had any issues at all. To be honest I would stay here again purely because of the staff and location of the hotel. Mehmet was fantastic and went out of his way for us. They can speak very good english which helps alot. The locals who live in the area and work in the neighbourhood are very welcoming and helpful, some were willing to close their shops to take us to the correct places when we were a little lost. The hotel is in a safe location despite being warned of pick pocketting in the area. Most places were also fine to accept card payments so we didn't need alot of liras in cash. We chose to walk to a few places and found some hidden gems along the way. I would recommend to skip the bosphorus tour and instead get the ferry to the asian side of Istanbul using an "istanbul kart".
• Margit (6/5): - Sitzgruppen vor dem Hotel laden ein, ganz toll ist es bei angenehmen Temperaturen vor dem Hotel zu sitzen und das Treiben in Istanbul zu beobachten (es ist eine Seitenstraße, daher auch ruhiger). Der Frühstücksraum ist leider im Keller und eng bestuhlt. Die Badezimmer sind geräumig und geschmackvoll. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Bedden zijn wel hard en veel lawaai dus je slaapt niet goed . De locatie is perfect en personeel receptie zijn wel vriendelijk ,behulpzaam en doen hun best.

• Szilard Zsolt (6/5): Clean rooms, close to city center. - The room was clean and had everything we needed for the city break. It was quite small, but this was mainly due to space constraints, being in the city center. There was also air conditioner. Grand bazaar is 3 minutes away and also the main attractions were just a few minutes away. Receptionists were nice. The only thing, I would complain about, is breakfast. It is served on the roof, in case of nice weather, which is quite nice. The coffee machine was not working all the time, fruit juices were not natural. There was no kind of ham, only one very suspicious mortadella-like pink thing. One day, there were doughnuts, but the waiter was the first eating one. If something was off (obvious things like bread), they did not refill until somebody complained about it.

However they need to maintain rooms more, shower was not working correctly and was not properly attached to wall, sink was leaking, lock was constantly not working ok. Overall decent and very good for its price!

• 735newtond (10/5): Mr Newton Duarte - The best choice in Istambul, amazingly friendly staff , Mehmet walked a long way to meet my taxi stuck in traffic and walked me and my bags to the hotel !!! Mehmet also was my life saviour when on a tour I found out that I had left my wallet behind at the hotel ! Called him and that was all I had to do ! He put all my tour expenses on the hotel account ! Problem solved ! ! Very modern and clean Hotel , well kept , very quiet street and great location. Close to the main street and its tram, at a walking distance to The Sultanate amazing Mosques, 2 short blocks from the incredible GRAND BAZAAR ! Very vibrant neighbourhood of shoe shops and shoe makers!! The real Istanbul one wants to Experience !!! Will recommend and certainly go back to stay ! Thank you

Please Note Family with young children: "Istanbul is a Historical place, not recommended for young children, there is nothing except for Museum, Old Mosque, ancient architecture and shopping. No entertainment for teenagers and children. Beside you have to walk too much in this city with ups and down. Too much rush on roads, traffic is worst."

• 174jusufd (10/5): Great Hotel - Hotel is near the " Grand Pazar '" or " Kapali Çarsi " that's the good point of the hotel , it is a very clean , also a food is very good , but all this thing's made perffectly and friendly staff which dont let you to be boreing. Hotel is also near the tramavey and bus stations , metro it is around 10 min by walking. I recomand to other chosing the hotel it is high standard level of hotels !
• ShaymaaHassan (8/5): Accomodation at the Comfort Elite Beyazit - Our accommodation was nice and the hotel was clean and very close to the Beyazit Tram station and the Grand Bazar Staff are friendly and nice Breakfast was served at the top floor, a nice young lady was there to help. The breakfast options were limited but are OK and when I asked them to add fresh apple they did. It is a walking distance from Sultam Ahmed area Chembrly tash station is between Beyazit station and Sultan Ahmet station. The cost for the rooms was fine. We took those photos at the hotel door
• Olivier (8/5): excellent choice for the price! - I arrived the day of the riot against the president and didn't notice nothing until we heard jets and helicopters flying right over the neighborhood, was a bit scary that night I must admit, but I still slept very well and the next morning, after the turkish people just went down the street to stop the army, the whole city was totally quiet and empty, until 10-11pm. The hotel itself is very well located, a few steps to the main road, close to the market, 10 minutes from the Blue Mosque. The bed was perfect, bathroom small but ok and there is a save in the room. Breakfast is on the terrace, on top of the building with a fabulous view over the sea.

The location couldn't be better as it is located within walking distance to most historical sights and just a few blocks from the Grand Bazaar. Tram is also nearby. The hotel offers a wonderful free Turkish breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly, especially Mehmet who goes out of his way to be accommodate us. (He also speaks good English). You can be sure we will be staying at this hotel in the future. I highly recommend it.

Hotel staff should be professional and not get too "involved" with the guests. My friend was scared because he kept asking her out and we had to check out because we were concerned for our safety. Otherwise, the rooms are very nice. Clean and spacious. Breakfast is ok as well.

• greece353 (10/5): I just stayed for 10 days in the Comfort Elite Hotels (BEYAZIT) - The staff from the lowest rank to the manager are just a pleasure to deal with. They have the ability to make the hotel your home. Good breakfasts, nice massage parlor. The rooms are not huge but very well planned with the en suite shower/toilette. Sometimes noisy with the mosque 50m away. The location is perfect. Very close to Kapali Carsi, trams and walking distance from the Ottoman relics. At the price this hotel is a must! When booking make sure to deal with Mehmet.

Room was well-appointed and clean. Breakfast buffet is very tasty with a lot of choices. I would definitely return and I would recommend it as a very nice hotel option. Short distance from tram and about a 12 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia.

• bellydancer11231940 (10/5): I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS HOTEL AND THE STAFF - I recently traveled to Istanbul and this was my second time staying at this Hotel. It is a new hotel with all the amenities, comfortable beds and pillows, clean rooms, free wi fi in rooms, etc. They offer a wonderful Turkish buffet breakfast including olives, yogurt, breads, hot and cold eggs, an array of salads, fruits and desserts and much more which is served on the upstairs terrace (weather permitting) with stunning views of the City and Marmara Sea. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar, shops and restaurants and the Beyazit tram station. Also a 10 to 15 minute walk to Hagia Sophie, Blue Mosque, Topkapi and more. I was leaving to visit Cyprus for a week and then returning to Istanbul for 2 more weeks of vacation. I had booked another hotel in the Sultanhamet area upon my return to Istanbul and after confirming my reservation with this other hotel, there was a problem with my reservation. I told Mr. Mehmet at the front desk of Comfort Elite and he got on the phone with Hotels.com. To make a long story short Mr. Mehmet said Comfort Elite only books reservations on line but he would reserve a room for me in light of my situation. He went out of his way to make sure my problem was resolved and that I was satisfied. Mr. Mehmet took what was a stressful and frustrating situation and turned it around into a positive outcome for me. I will always think of the friendly people of Istanbul and the staff at Comfort Elite and especially Mr. Mehmet who is awesome. You can be sure I will be staying at this hotel again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, staff friendly and clean - The hotel location is 2 min walk to grand bazaar, 15 min walk hagia sofia and blue mosque. They are literally opposite each other. You can get a cab to taksim square but its difficult during busy hours so best to go there first thing in the morning. The hotel is excellent & staff go out of there way to help you. There is free wifi. The breakfast is ok but you could go without. The tram and bus depot is outside hotel.
• maya (10/5): Hotel accueillan, au cœur du centre historique - En arrivant à l'hôtel, le taxi s'est trompé et nous a déposé au 2ème hôtel qui se situe à sultanAhmet. Le personnel était très accueillant et nous a expliqué qu'on a réservé à Byazit, il a tout de suite appelé qqn de l'hôtel pour nous accompagner à notre hôtel. En attendant il nous ont acceuili avec du çay (thé) pour patienter. En arrivant à notre hôtel, il nous ont accompagné jusqu'à à la chambre avec nos bagages. Chambre de taille moyenne, très propre, climatisée, eau chaude en abondant (petit détail pas de rideau dans la douche, mais sa nous a pas très derangé), ménage tous les jours (une petite remarque, les femmes de ménage n'ont pas changé les serviettes et les draps pour toutes la durée du séjours 7nuits). Petit déjeuner de 7:30 à 10:30 variété de nourriture (plusieurs sortes de fromage et des olives, tomates, gâteaux, œufs, céréales......tous les jours plus au moins la même chose mais nous avons bien mangé). Bref le séjours était très bien et je recommande cet hôtel. Une dernière remarque: le hamam ne fonctionne pas un peu déçu car j'aurai bien aimé profiter du sauna...

• Ana (8/5): Hotel muy cercano al Gran Bazár familiar sin lujos - Hotel pequeño muy familiar, sin lujos, muy céntrico (compensa la falta de lujos con la cercanía al Gran Bazar). Solo desayuno muy gusto, con poca cosa para los occidentales y en general escaso. Buen trato La habitaciones son excesivamente diminutas, no tienen que ver con lo que se ve en la foto. Solo una de la personas de hotel sabe hablar español, el resto todo en inglés. Experiencia buena pero mejorable. Si contratas a alguien para que te recoja en el hotel tiene que ser antes de las 10 puesto que cierran las calles que llevan al hotel.

• karissa (10/5): Great stay! - Location is great! Close to Grand Bazar and tram station. You are in the heart of it all! The hotel is very modern and comfortable. Slept great! However if you are sensitive to noise, there is a mosque close by where you will hear the call to prayer, but we didn't find it overly loud. We used the shuttle service and paid 30 euros one way. We missed the driver but he found us quickly after we called the hotel. If you have extra money take the shuttle, however we did the metro on the way home and it was about the same amount of time and only 8 Turkish lira and takes you directly to the airport. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.
• Wasim (10/5): Perfect Hotel - Walking Distance to everything - When booking this Hotel I was a bit unsure about the hotel, but thought I would give it a chance. After staying at this hotel I can say that this was a perfect hotel to stay in. The rooms were fantastic, nicely decorated with a large screen TV with over 500 digital channels. The hotel is walking distance to the grand bazaar and blue mosque. The staff were fantastic they made me and my family feel comfortable and showed us how to get to all the best places easily. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again when I decide to go back to Istanbul.
