Ernest, the manager, was always making sure we were comfortable over our stay . Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Making sure we enjoyed our breakfast and made sure we comfortable. Will definitely like to go back in the future , especially on a Hot day to enjoy the pristine pool and continue my Breakfast by the Pool. The Monkeys was so stuck up. Wasn't like the friendly ones in the my area 😀

- Sasha (4/5): Not very hospitable - The manager was friendly, the location is perfect. I’ve stayed here a few times now and this was the most disappointing experience. The room I was in ‘natal fig’ didn’t lock properly from the inside - the door doesn’t close shut, the shower door doesn’t close so water falls out, there’s no hairdryer in the room and this is supposed to be a 5 star guesthouse. We were told to close the windows during the day due to monkeys, but it was okay to leave them open at night - at 8am a monkey got into the room and my partner had to usher it out. An easy fix would be bars on the window. However, the worst experience was breakfast. We were told that breakfast was from 7.30-9.30. I got there at 9.25 and was plainly ignored by staff who were preparing their own breakfast, the door to the kitchen was closed and no one acknowledged my partner or I, even as we went to give them our order sheets. We left it on the table, and walked out. When we were checking out, they asked us to eat our breakfast- which they prepared after the manager spoke to them, but this was over an hour later. We didn’t want cold breakfast, especially after being ignored earlier. Not very hospitable on Christmas Day.

The room are spacious and allows enough space for moving around and relaxing. In addition, the balcony provides an additional area to unwind. Bathroom is spacious and well kept. An extractor fan (not a must) is recommended to deal with vapour quickly when showering especially when there are a number of people using the bathroom one after the other.

The owner of the house didn’t make our stay comfortable, he was checking us not to talk at night and I asked are we making noise or talking load he says no but at night you must all sleep. He lied and said the was a car hooted out side with us while we were not there that night. He doesn’t want people to go out to the club at night while were were there got vacation weekend

- Roxy (10/5): - Super veel ruimte binnen. Verschillende zitkamers met ook nog een aparte woonkamer met tv. Ziet er allemaal heel netjes uit. Parkeren kon ook binnen de hekken. De manager gaf wel aan dat het strand waar het hotel aan ligt niet zo veilig is. Dat je beter iets verderop kan rijden omdat die bewaakt wordt.

- Hlophe (10/5): Exceptional - We booked the smallest of all Forest Manor rooms last year (2024) and indeed it was fantastic and best enough. We loved the property, the location, the pool, the lot. The service is perfect from the gentleman you get to meet, very peasant. The ladies in the kitchen, Wow, the food, the room service, the knowledge of the surrounding. We were here for 2 nights last year, 2024. Well, the property, the location, the privacy and the rooms are the best, so I upgraded this year to a more posh room and I will do the same next time until I get to the presidential suit... Nothing that I did not like.
