Guest Reviews
- Kay (8/5): - It was good overall, except one thing. The breakfast time was different than what was described in expedia. I booked this hotel because breakfast was included and time was earlier than others like 7:30 am. But they changed the time to 8:00am. We could not eat single time there because of the other scheduled events.
- Aaron (8/5): - Nice hotel well located to sites to visit. Pleasant reception staff. Close to a large variety of eating options. Very good breakfast offerings. The bathroom was rather small. The tiles in the shower recess were very slippery when wet and there were no grab rails. The room would have benefited from a coffee machine. All in all a pleasant stay.
- Chong Myong (10/5):

- Victoria (10/5): - Great location in Prague, easy walking distance to sight see. Great restaurants and bars nearby. Staff at hotel friendly. Breakfast lovely. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Small shampoo/ body washes provided.
- CathS1 (10/5): Great 5 day stay here - We really loved this hotel in a great great location in Prague old town. Its down a cobbled street which is lively with walkers all taking a quick route to the Square and Astronomical Clock We had a great big room, which I must say was immaculately clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good with all options of cereal juice rolls breads cheeses hams fruits hot cooked food choices and sweet buns and cakes. All you could want really and very good coffee. We were out most of the day but we did notice restaurant some days very busy at lunch times, possibly groups. The jazz club downstairs is a definite must, great bar down there with terrific choices of gins in particular . Live music different each night, and its a welcoming cosy intimate place. Staff are wonderful. Really really enjoyed our stay here. Reception staff very efficient and arranged all our cab transfers to and from airport with no hassle. Good hotel.
- RUBEN (10/5): - Muy buena ubicacion
- Ann-Britt (8/5): Weekendresa - Trevligt hotell med perfekt läge mitt i gamla stan. Frukosten hade allt man behövde.
- Simona (10/5): - Ottima
- Leila (10/5): - It was a nice hotel with good service and lovely breakfast .
- Veronica (10/5): Bra hotell mitt i gamla stan! - Väldigt prisvärt hotell mitt i gamla stan!
Helt okej frukost.
- Katherine (10/5): - Great location right in the old town. There is a jazz bar downstairs that was loud on weekends but not disruptive!
- Jamie (10/5): Great place - Everything was perfect really good location big room loved the jazz bar located in the cellar breakfast was ok served till 10 am
- Frederik (10/5): Rigtig god oplevelse, vil klart anbefale andre - Virkelig god oplevelse. Placeret midt i centrum men uden nogen former for larm. Virkelig behageligt ophold, fin morgenmad til prisen. Ældre air condition men fuld funktionelt.
Jeder Zeit wieder.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fint hotel med super beliggenhed.
- atmadjil (10/5): Amazing place in the heart of Prague - I wasn't sure where to stay in Prague but U Stare Pani was eventually an amazing choice. The room was very spacious and had AC, a beautiful view over a courtyard with classic orange roofs, and was always quiet whatever the noise from the street side.
The buffet breakfast was simple yet diverse, and I especially liked the professional-grade coffee machine. Staff was very servicable and got my clothes to the laundry once (expect around 8 euros for a full bag).
I didn't recall Prague being such a small city but almost every attraction was nearby. The hotel is basically located in the heart of the old town. There is even a bicycle rental shop just under the arch you can see when stepping outside.
The restaurant was only open to group reservations, but some amazing dining places like Café Louvre (my favorite restaurant), Lehka Hlava (rare vegan) and La crème de la crème (most popular ice-cream shop?) were only 5 minutes on foot.
I will definitely stay there again next time, since it wasn't more expensive than other places while I'm sure I can have relaxing nights thanks to the quietness (ask for a courtyard room if it matters for you) and the AC.

- Y5486JUnicolasb (10/5): Nice and calm place to eat and relax - Not sure whether it was because of just beginning of the season or the weather but when we visited this restaurant it was almost empty, so we enjoyed our lunch in calm and peace. The waiter was very nice! Very pleasant prices as well. We definitely can recommend this venue.
ちなみに、At The Old Ladyとはどこにも書いてないので、
- Irina (10/5): - Excellent location. Good service.
- Marylou Alcantara (10/5): - They packed us breakfast bag to go since our flight is early.
- Jen (10/5): - Wonderful hotel! The staff were all fantastic, the rooms were beautiful and clean, the location ideal, and the prices very good! Five stars!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fabulous as usual - We have been returning to this place for years. We always have a wonderful experience. Since our last stay (pre-covid), the reception area and the restaurant have been remodeled. And the breakfast buffet selection is now even better than before. As always, the staff have been amazing. In some respects, this is a simple place, for example don't expect fancy toiletries, but the location, cleanliness and service is first class. Thank you for another fantastic stay!
- Gian Luca (10/5): - ottima posizione centralissima e strategica vicino a tutto!!!!
ottima colazione !!!!
pulizia giornaliera!!!
- AlexDSnow (10/5): Amazing location, great service!! - We stayed 3 nights at U Stare Pani, it was so convenient, within walking distance from the Old Town Plaza and the famous Charles Bridge. We had a room that overlooked the street, it was very busy all the time and very noisy, but we didnt mind, the location was perfect. The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was always delicious! And the price was affordable, I would definitely recommend this place.
Dss Frühstückbufett bietet alles was man braucht. Obst, Salat, Marmelade, Müsli, verschiedene warme Eierspeisen und warme /kalte Wurst. Gerbatener Schinken, verschiedene Brot und Brötchensorten
- AG (10/5): - Very good breakfast. Room was clean. Nice and helpful staff, she even printed my boarding pass for me. Very pleasant neighborhood, beautiful buildings everywhere. Plenty of places to eat.
- X5063WYdavidb (8/5): Good Value and very comfortable - Unassuming, very clean and with character. Close to the main square. Rooms very clean, (recently refurbished), but a bit on the small size. Breakfast buffet was simple but perfectly adequate. Didn’t get to visit the jazz bar but hear that it is very good. Great location for a visit to Prague especially if on holiday. Thoroughly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice room, nice service, well located. a bit noisy tough, given that there are bars at proximity, and for some reason among the tourists visiting Prague there is a lot of young men who like to shout a lot.
- Purdstar20 (10/5): Had A Great Stay. Top Location - Just had 4 nights At The Old Lady,
What a perfect location. Turn left for the Square, Charles Bridge, Clock etc, Turn right for the Great Shopping and Tourist Buses.
Wendy the Manager is so friendly and helpful who has her finger on the pulse of what’s happing in Prague.
Good breakfast Good Jazz Club downstairs.
Just a really good easy stay with no worries
- sergioferreiros (8/5): Good rooms, medium service. - We are a family of 5 and the hotel facilities per se were very nice. We all think that the service could be better, because in some occasions we felt that the hotel personnel were a bit rude with the answers they provided. Anyway, we would come back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What I liked about the property that the rooms were very very spacious for being a standard and economical room -never felt cramped in the room -the location was perfect, very close to the heart of things, but a block or two away so you were not in the thick of things and the noise.
The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly the morning breakfast was it ample and delicious.
- tcardona (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The front desk staff are so nice and friendly -the hotel and restaurant are very clean , our room was very spacious with lots of storage area and we went to the jazz club twice in the evenings while we were there. Highly recommend. It was quiet -we didn’t hear any of our neighbors -easy walking distance to everything !
The breakfast was included in the price of the hotel, which was very very reasonable. They offered a very nice selection of coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables , yogurt cereal, eggs, bread , pastries, meats and cheeses -it was very lovely.
- AP (6/5): - The location of the hotel is excellent. All the tourist spots are close by. Don’t expect too much of amenities in the hotel. Coffee/tea making facilities are not there in the room. The early morning coffee is quite a task to locate in the adjoining area. Room size is OK. However bathrooms are a tight fit. Staff are friendly and helpful. The approach to the hotel is through a cobbled alley. The taxi stops about 50 metres away. Be ready for a bumpy ride for your suitcases
- Sridhar (8/5): Nice hotel in a fabulous location in Old Town - We loved the hotel, cleanliness, friendly staff, fabulous location. Only issue we faced was unstable internet in our room. We brought it to their notice. It needs to be fixed with a booster as signal was very weak in our room number 32. Free WiFi works flawlessly in Prague restaurants, buses, trains. Hotel should fix this. If they do that, I would rate them 5/5.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was fab . Hotel very clean breakfast was good staff great very helpful. Location was excellent.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not Customer Friendly - We were told there would be air conditioning in our room and laundry facilities inside the hotel before we booked our room. When we arrived the air conditioning was working in the hallways of the hotel, but it was shut off in our room where it felt very hot and humid. I asked the front desk for the remote to the air conditioning unit in my room and they said they would bring it to my room. I left the room with my wife for six hours and when I returned the remote to the air conditioning was still not in my room. I asked the front desk for the remote again and they told me they would not slow me to turn on the air conditioning. I asked them if they had a laundry facility or laundry services and they told me they did not. I later saw in a cabinet in my hotel room an advertisement and price list for a laundry service at the hotel. The inside of my hotel room had either mold or mildew. Bottom line... if you come from an English speaking country they will treat you like a second class human being. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- alcathy (2/5): They took the full payment when I booked but on the site it clearly said a deposit was required. - I was so annoyed! I booked in January via hotels.com. It said it'll take a deposit for this refundable booking. They took the 3 nights payment in Euros right away. At end of Feb when I decided to stay at another hotel & cancel, took them almost 2 weeks to refund & it's refunded in Forint! (I also had to get Hotels.com to email them for my refund). As it's returned back in Forint, I lost money from the exchange. I feel they're are not upfront with their policy and I would not recommend this hotel. Beware........
- momoneyq (8/5): Perfect location - modern rooms - no frills service/breakfast - I enjoyed my stay here, excellent value for money and surprisingly very modern. The location can't be beat, it's in the centre but on a quiet medieval cobbled road. It's very near to club popo which is a very popular underground bar but you can't hear any loud noises except the jazz bar downstairs which doesn't reach into the rooms. The breakfast is very basic as expected, nice service at the front desk. Cheap minibar. There's a lift which will be handy for some people. I'd recommend this to singles, couples and small families on short trips because the rooms are a bit intimate. The size is adequate but more than 3 adults would feel tight.
- JAY (10/5): all around wonderful stay - Wendy was great
- Adventurer781903 (10/5): Wonderful! - Great location, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. Although the room was quite small, it did have Wifi and a hair dryer. I was concerned about the jazz club being too busy and noisy, but that was not an issue during my stay. If I ever return to Prague, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
- sergo_il (10/5): Outstanding hotel in a great location - This hotel is a nice and cozy place with large and comfortable rooms, perfectly clean, quiet and pleasant to stay in. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. In addition there is a nice jazz club in the basement with various of events and a restaurant.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - In a great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast!
- Marissa (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating. Location of the hotel was very convenient to everything. Although we at first had difficulty looking for the hotel since the hotel name is written in Czech, we were glad to know that it's very centrally located. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
- BorisCanada (10/5): Location is great right at the Center of historic Prague - We just spent one night at this hotel after guided tour in fabulous city of Prague. Once our tour was completed it just took few minutes to reach this hotel by walk. We were greeted by young guy at reception which was very friendly and helpful. This guy was also very friendly during checkout and help us to direct Uber driver when she had problem to reach the hotel.
Room was good size, clean. Only problem was that you you leave window open you will hear noise even in very late hours, but it is side effect of so central hotel location.
- Amanda (8/5): Great - Great location, large rooms
- dvanlaan (8/5): 'Czech' Out This Hotel! - This quaint and charming hotel is a great find in Old Town about two minutes walk to the Old Town Square and is surrounded by great bars and restaurants.
There is also a jazz bar in the basement every night but in our room we never heard the music!
Cozy and well maintained 17th century building with tons of character and with spacious rooms that are clean; well appointed, good breakfast.
- Larry (10/5): - Great hotel, close to the square and minutes to Charles Bridge. Easy walking to all attractions.
- Dee (8/5): - This hotel located in the heart of Old Town is a hidden gem. Very nice way to use a 17th century building! Even though in the center of the city it was quiet at night even with the jazz band (jazz bar in basement) playing! Rooms were large enough and there was air conditioning the first few days when it was hot. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. It’s within walking distance of most of the main sights and bars and restaurants. B'fast in the morning was pretty good. Overall for the price we paid you could not ask for better!!!!
- Laurie (6/5): Great location - At The Old Lady is a quaint small hotel. Breakfast was descent, room was small, bed was very hard. You can't beat the location, though, it was hard to find. Overall, I would give it a 3 out of 5 and a good rating
- MARIA (10/5): SECOND TIME - Second stay here - lovely vacation
- Patricia (10/5): Stay at the Old Lady - You cannot beat this location. We spent a week here and were in close walking distance to the Old Town Square, Wenceslas square and everywhere else. Signing up for day tours is right near by or in the hotel. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION (Good price also.)
Our room was so quiet we never new there were other people in the hotel until we came to breakfast and saw everyone else. You can't beat that.
Decent enough variety for the breakfast every morning.
- Sally (8/5): Good hotel in perfect location - The hotel was in a perfect location in a quiet road but the Old Town Square and bus stops only 3-5 minutes walk away. Two good restaurants very close - the Deer and the Monk, We were looked after well at the hotel which had good WiFi connection. Prague is a beautiful and clean city.
- Jack (10/5): - This hotel was excellent!! Location is perfect for having a good look at Prague!! From check in to check out we were very pleased! Would definitely stay here again!
- Robyn (8/5): In the heart of Prague
- At The Old Lady, is a lovely hotel in the very heart of Old Town, close to all attractions. Our room was spacious and clean, although my husband kept hitting his head on the sloped ceiling! (He should have learned after the first time.) The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Our only negative is the breakfast which was inedible.
- Graciela (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel, wonderful service and delicious breakfast!
- Bridget (8/5): Terrific location for quick visit - Overall hotel very nice. Perfect location. Beds and pillows a bit thin but the place is kept very nice and clean and staff is friendly. Only complaint was that we were there during a heatwave and knowing European AC we purposely left on when we went out to tour so room would be cool for sleeping. Cleaning staff turned it off and we could not get the room cool enough to sleep well that night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Location. Spacious. - Really nice if not a touch basic, modern and updated bathroom with separate WC. Ample storage and a mini fridge. Go here for the location above all else. Right in the centre of the old town.
- Phillip (8/5): - Excellent location close to the Old Town Square. Rooms have been modernised. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend for a short stay in Prague with easy access to all the main tourist sites.
- Daniel (10/5): Nice, small hotel in Prague’s Old Town - Spent 3 nights at the Old Lady. Room was comfortable, A/C worked ok, nice shower. We were on the back side so the nights were quiet. Breakfast was included and we took advantage each morning. Decent selection, but not abundant and things get picked over. The location is excellent for exploring Prague’s Old Town. The staff is friendly and helpful. We never heard any noise from the music club in the basement. Very good WiFi in the room and cafe. Great small place and we certainly recommend Dum,U Stare Pani.
- PAUL (8/5): good - We enjoyed our trip and stay at the hotel. Thank you
- Nora (10/5): - Hotel in excellent area, right in middle of old town. Jazz club in basement was an added bonus. Always a different group every night. Would recommend hotel.
- Hannah (10/5): - Excellent location and stuff! Great breakfast!
- Lynda (8/5): Great central hotel for a short break - Welcomed by helpful staff. Early check in. Spacious comfortable room. Hotel really central - near tourist spots and some great restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Thanks to U Stare Pani
- Jackie (10/5): nice place - Great location, excellent and kind staff, would stay again!
- John (6/5): Good, not great - Our stay at The Old Lady was pleasant but not particularly special. The room and bathroom were both small and the breakfast, while good, was not outstanding. One complaint was that the hotel's web site said they had laundry facilities (we were midway through a 2-week trip and needed to do laundry) but they didn't. There was also music playing in the hotel's restaurant until close to midnight, which was less than ideal. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel's location is fantastic.
- Brian and Julie (10/5): birthday trip to prague - absolutely brilliant
- Z (10/5): Great small hotel well located... - Great small hotel right in between old town and new town with a 5 min walk to the old town square or Charles bridge. Clean with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ask about location of the modern Kafka statue.
- Laura (10/5): - A charming, comfortable hotel in the heart of Old Town. The room was a bit small, but perfect for those looking to spend more time in Prague than the hotel. The continental breakfast was nice, with a variety of offerings.
- Julie (10/5): Clean hotel in a great location - This hotel is walking distance to everything! The staff for the most part was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely staff there the next time I'm in Prague.
- Misti (10/5): - We arrived early and they were able to store our bags so that we could start a tour that we had booked. Upon return, the room was ready. The staff very nice and able to accommodate requests that we had. The breakfast was good. We were told to get there early, since they do not always refill it, this was not the case this time, items were refilled when low. The shower was a little awkward (the ceiling above it came down at an angle). The location was close to the Old Town and was near many restaurant's. The overall stay was GREAT!
- Katherine (10/5): Best Surprise - Arrived late and we were being waited for since the front desk is jot 24 hours. The room was large and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Very comfortable bed - loved the pillows. Clean. Good breakfast- European with many options. Great location- very safe area 2 minute wak from Old Town Square. Lots of night life around. Staff was extremely helpful and nice.
- Kai (10/5): Perfect place right where you want to be - Great location, nice staff, big room. Quiet during the night, no outside noise. Also quiet A/C unit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Central location - Excellent room with separate foyer to bathroom. Minutes to old town square. Good breakfast included.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location, comfortable.... beware of noise - Good stay overall.... good location and helpful staff. Very noisy from pub downstairs first night so had to request to change the room. Do advise is to take a room in the back
- Kerri (10/5): Amazing location - So close to so many attractions, very friendly and helpful staff, decent room with air conditioning. Even includes parking for an extra fee and accommodated our dog at the last minute. Highly recommend!
- Marc (10/5): Great little hotel. - Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. I think the location is excellent with about a 5 minute walk from the atomic clock and maybe a 10 minute walk to the river and Jewish quarter. Subway and streetcars are also nearby. I'd stay there again. Nice breakfast included in the attached restaurant.
- Indiana Jack (8/5): A week in Prague - U Stare Pani is a charming hotel in a nearly perfect location if you want to explore the Old City of Prague. Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was hearty. Keep in mind this is a very European hotel. Platform beds, not inner-spring mattresses. A queen bed is two singles side by side. We had a small suite on the third floor (Room 35) and found it perfect for our needs. It was very quiet all but one night. Prague continues to attract a young party crowd more interested in cheap beer than the sights. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are commonplace on Friday and Saturday and can result in some drunken carousing in the streets. Several nice little restaurants/cafes along the same street.
- Heather (10/5): Perfect for Prague - Everything was perfect! I especially appreciate the staff...so helpful and made sure we were all set up for our stay before our arrival.
- Alsace (10/5): Helpful Hotel Staff - At the Old Lady was welcoming and comfortable for a solo traveler. The staff went out of their way to assist me in getting to some of the less touristy areas on my agenda, and were very warm.
- kok chuen (10/5): Love the Old Lady - Though the hotel may be a bit difficult to locate at first, it is actually very convenient yet quiet. Shower room is a little tight.
- Frederick (8/5): Good location hotel - Hotel was in a great location in the old town and within easy walking distances of most of the sights to see. Plenty of very good restaurants nearby. Room was a bit small with little space to open bags and beds were firm. Front desk was excellent, particularly Jitka who was especially helpful. Recommend a nearby restaurant V cipu and you want to order the pork knuckle.
- Tom (8/5): Convenient and clean - Brilliant location , staff v friendly ,
- Len (10/5): Lovely hotel in the centre of Old Town - Very efficient and helpful staff all with very good English. Excellent breakfast which set you up for the day. Nice size room with great shower. Staff always available. The hotel has a friendly family feel about it and we Would definately stay there again.
- Fran (10/5): Comfortable, clean hotel conveniently located. - I appreciated the helpful, warm hospitality at the main desk. The breakfast provided a nutritious start to the day. It was a convenient location for tour starts and the airport shuttle.
