• LoralieE (8/5): Exploring Nelson - This is a lovely place, but you can tell it is an older motel. The room was comfortable and met our needs for the four nights. Bathroom is older and showed in the tiling around the tub. It was all good.

• Judd (7/5): Easy place to acces from the ski resort with basic accommodations. This is it a 5 star place, but is affordable and loc - It is close to the road to Whitewater. The beds were comfortable, shower was hot, and mostly quiet later in the night. The BBQ was not available as it didn’t have any grates or burners in it. We had to cook our burgers in the suite which lead to the smoke detector going off and opening the windows to get the smoke out. The TV remote didn’t work. While there were pots and pans and some cooking utensils, there were no mixing bowls. Those would be helpful in a kitchen suite.

I also didn't realize there would be a stove/oven in addition to the microwave so that was a nice surprise! The shower was really nice too. We would definitely revisit in the future! • Fielding (8/5): Premium bed and linens just lacking some quiet. - The bed and sheets were first class. The flowers in the courtyard were beautiful. Very welcoming. The front desk Man was friendly and helpful. Walked me to my room. I requested a quiet room (to rest and nap) and children staying at the hotel ran around the building screaming, after 90 minutes I complained, the front desk said, “they’re just children.” The hotel was packed and they had their money.

Our room was very comfortable with a leather couch, table and chairs, huge TV and jacuzzi bathtub. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The kitchenette was very nicely equipped with everything you need for cooking. Real plates and cutlery and pots and pans. Water kettle and toaster, etc. Everything was perfect.

• Natasha (8/5): - Overall we enjoyed our Stay. Room was clean and cozy. The 'Standard room' bed size is definitely a Full and Not a Queen. We booked here with the idea that we'd be able to park in front of our room for the night so we could leave some items in the car. However there are rooms here that are tucked in the back that you can't park in front of. If we were to book again we'd call to request a room with direct packing. Ice machine has a well used scoop.. Area felt safe and is really close to downtown Nelson shopping and dining.

• Sharon (10/5): - The price is too high but the bbq area saved us $40-50 eating out (which we dislike) Comfortable king bed, and even the pillows were adequate which is very rare. Low water pressure due to site situation I guess. The jetted tub was underwhelming and not used. Staff was incredible both times we stayed, even when my hubs made me very angry leaving, the staff called later to make sure the stay was not my issue.

Small rooms for people that bring dogs, smoking room provided as well, I’m a non smoker and my pup is a hypoallergenic breed. Parking spots should be pre assigned when you get your room, as, you don’t dare to go out in the evening. Coming back you will find no parking spots.

• Bradley (10/5): - Our room was not huge and was tucked away behind the front reception area, which made it private/secluded. It had three windows which all opened to let fresh air in. The room was very clean, bedding and towels were white. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower was good. The room had glass and ceramic drinking vessels (as opposed to paper/plastic found in many other mid range hotels) We walked everywhere from this location - definitely got our steps in. Our dog was welcome at this property and everywhere else in Nelson. We will return.

• Jacquie (8/5): A gem with character - What a fantastic place, full of character. Although the hotel is aged, it is clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were awesome - gave us lots of tidbits about the area. I would highly recommend this spot. A little off the beaten path and a great place to reset after shopping and other activities.
