The property is recently renovated and everything is new and in perfect working order. The free continental breakfast was nice also. Food 3 shopping within walking distance. No small nightstand table lamps. Only the big main lights which were a bit bright when you just want to read or get up at night.

Kelly E. (6/5): Dark and Damp - We stayed in a basement room that has not been updated yet. Room 133. It was a nice big size but it had only a fan for airflow and the room really needs a dehumidifier to absorb the water in the air from the shower and from the summer temperatures. Our clothes felt damp the next morning and our towels from the day before were not dry. There also is not a lot of light in this room. Ask for an updated room to avoid these priblems.

Adeel Samad (6/5): - We booked and paid for our room two days in advance. However, at check-in, we were asked to pay an additional $200 as a deposit. The front desk staff claimed it was mentioned in the booking details, but we double-checked our Expedia confirmation and found no mention of it. Since we had already paid for our accommodation (2 nights), we didn’t have much choice and ended up paying the deposit using my credit card. At checkout, we were told the deposit would be refunded within 3–4 days. While this was frustrating, the rest of our stay was smooth — the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of fast food options just a short 2–3 minute drive away. Would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness and location, but wish the deposit policy was more transparent at the time of booking.

David (5/5): Motel has been renovated. The little we saw was very nice. Going back to our room was disappointing. - Good/excellent. We were in the renovation section. Bathroom had a broken GFI OUTLET. Poor lighting. Heater didn’t work when needed room was damp.carpet, filthy. Wasn’t the first time when booking at other places that we were put in a dirty room because we had a service dog./ pet. We understand some dogs are undisciplined ,but there are exceptions.

Howe (8/5): This is a family business, and is community! I will return anytime I am in the area. - It was quite obvious this hard working family provided most renovations, and did a fine job. Some little quirks, such as crooked electrical outlets and bathroom light. The shelving was for very tall guests. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with crisp white sheets. The room was very clean with a clean fridge and microwave. There was not a coffee maker and the shampoo was lack luster. The lighting in the room needs to be more user friendly, perhaps more outlets allowing a bed side light. The included breakfast was very good, perhaps better than some chain motels. This is obviously family owned, and worked. The location is central to Chelmsford amenities. My husband and I will return, no regrets 👍 The room lighting was a little bright, with no dimmer and no bedside lighting (How can one enjoy a good book in the evening when you need to get out of your comfy spot to turn off the bright lights?) Some of the renovations did appear to be somewhat unprofessional ie. crooked outlets, too high shelving, wobbly/uneven refrigerator.

The rooms were nice I didn't feel like I was in a basement, beds/blankets/pullows were very comfortable. I do wish there was a coffe pot in the room but that was minor as tims and mcDs were close by. Also they were able to accommodate all our rooms together. Altho they were not pet friendly I would still def recommend this place for a place to stay.

Compare this to the motel with a 6 in its name.... night and day. I have stayed here at least 20 times over 3 years and have seen the live.. the growth, investment and pains. Bright white and one wall switch controlled all 4 wall lights. It was nice and very very bright - but when wanting to relax there was no appropriate soft lighting. There was one small lamp in the room, but it had a very bright bulb in it as well. This was my only concern. Everything else was great.

Very disappointed for the price paid. Won't stay here again - will drive an extra 20 minutes for a nicer place for not much more money.
courtney (6/5): - First off, the staff were very nice and we were met promptly upon entering the motel. We opted for a basement room, and maybe that it is why it is in the condition it is in. The paint was peeling off the walls, there were multiple holes, disturbances in the walls and the room smelled strongly of javex. There appeared to be dripping marks down the walls behind our end tables. There was a water bottle under the end table, maybe it got missed. It would have been nice to have shampoo/conditioner in the shower, however recognize not all places offer this kind of service. The drain in the bathroom sink filled up after turning on tap to brush teeth, so the drain is very clearly clogged. Probably would not stay again based on the experience in the basement room.

Donna (10/5): Pleasantly Surprised! - Was pleasantly surprised! The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had at a hotel/motel. The gentleman that checked us in was amazing! The renovations are really upgrading this small town motel! Would definitely stay here again!
Barbara (10/5): - The hotel is being upgraded and the new room was huge, very comfortable and clean. Great for families as room included 2 queen beds, a couch, and 2 chairs with plenty of open floor space for children to play.

Marcus (8/5): - The staff was very polite and accommodating. Willing to work with our schedule, and we very good with communication before our arrival. The property was still undergoing improvements, however this did not get in the way of our stay. This motel was close to gas and food amenities, and was well placed to support us along our journey.
Eric (10/5): - Rooms were up to date and clean. Tons of space and furniture. Parking right up to the door. Not your average motel it was much better!

Aaron (8/5): Yearly Tradition - The best hotel in Chelmsford with nice recent upgrades. I like that the bright outdoor lighting deters anyone from snooping around your vehicles and boats during the night.
