Guest Reviews
- Marleen123 (6/5): - Close to town. Check in was in the hotel down the road, which is fine. Gentleman was not very welcoming, I felt like I was getting a lecture.
2 Parking spots in front of the house could be used for guests, but weren't.
The room was too small for all the furniture they have put in. No need for a desk and the wardrobe took too much space from the bathroom entrance. Not a great layout.
Shower was awful, hardly any water came out and no pressure at all.
I found loads of hairs on and IN the bed. Absolutely disgusting.
I wanted to blow dry my hair, but the blow dryer was so old and dangerous. My hair got stuck in it and I actually had to rip it out. I think the previous guests had the same issue as there was a hair in it already before I used it.
Continental breakfast was ok, not much choice. I ordered scrambled eggs and it was way overcooked and hard.
Last thing to add, it is extremely noisy, everything can be heard from other rooms and we were awake for hours as someone was snoring so loud, it felt like they were in the room with us.
Will not recommend this B&B, especially for the 200 euro we paid for 1 night.
- Marion (10/5): Very relaxing . Slept very well , bed very comfortable. Breakfast very good . - Excellent service , beautiful food, very peaceful in the dining area . I would have preferred a pot of coffee instead of having to wait for a refill.
- Rebecca (7/5): -
- Steven (9/5): Excellent central spot - The Copper Kettle is the perfect central location in Killarney. It's not on the busiest main road, so there's not a lot of foot traffic, but is a just a short walk to all the pubs and sites.
Check-in and breakfast are at the Fairview, 3 doors down. Parking is across the street, 3 doors down the other direction.
The room is beautifully decorated and the towels are so soft and fluffy!
The staff is kind, the breakfast is delicious. The room is very small. There were two of us in the Standard Double Room and we had to climb over the beds in order to walk past each other. We spent most of our time exploring the city, so it wasn't a big deal.
- senny (9/5): -
- Mccarthy (9/5): Excellent - It was so central and easy We couldn’t open the window in the bathroom
- Jose (10/5): Copper Kettle is the place to visit - This hotel was ideal, great location and helpful/respectful staff... Nothing
- Donal (8/5): - Location was great. Room was very small.
- Bharath Kumar (9/5): -
- Benjamin (3/5): Don’t stay there. You’ll get more rest in your car. - Location It was freezing and couldn’t figure out how to turn heat on, fire alarm going off off at 3 am and when they came to room the guy asked my husband if he knew what the alarm was. Knocking and beating all around the place and all hours of the night.
- Eaton (9/5): - Lovely, helpful people and great location. Upgraded from our bnb to the hotel; very u expected. Nil
- Duke (10/5): Graet location, efficient check in, friendly staff, and breakfast menu provided a great choice. - efficient check in, friendly staff, and lovely menu with very good choices No issues
- Edward (9/5): Really comfortable and near all amenites - Very good Nothing
- Sam (8/5): -
- Michael (7/5): Night away in killarney - Breakfast was great, good selection& plenty of good coffee. Stayed in room 3, hair found between bed-throw & duvet.
Wasn't aware that we had to go out of the accomodation & walk down to another building for breakfast.
Parking available but away from accomodation.
We were fortunate that weather was dry.
- Radha (10/5): Lovely stay and great location. Everything was easy from check in to check out - Staff made the difference. Lovely service
- Noreen (3/5): Accommodations were adequate, but the staff was manipulative, -
- Anastasia (8/5): Rustic cosy cottage - The rustic, cozy feel. Authenticity Irish.
Location was excellent as the township is all around
The breakfast provided at the hotel was great. Having only one key to the property.
Whilst the sofa was old and blended in with the era of the cottage, it was quite uncomfortable.
- Robert (9/5): Fab place to stay in walking distance of the town. Will be back. - Everything Nothing
- Eileen (10/5): -
- James (7/5): -
- o sullivan (9/5): -

- Eimear (9/5): -
- Maggie (5/5): -
- Ugne (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): -
- Miriam (1/5): - The location was excellent The room had no window, only a skylight, which was noisy and cold. There was no soundproofing, so all noise from other guests could be heard clearly. Other guests were very noisy when returning in the early hours of the morning. It was the worst night's sleep I have had in a long time and I will not be using the facilities again.
- Tony (10/5): Staff at the Fairview Hotel took great care and their breakfast was awesome. - The room was super kitschy and great. Bathroom fit for a king. Nothing, really.
Except the weather!!
- John (10/5): -
- Megan (9/5): Great location, comfy room, nearby attractions - Upon arriving, we were offered an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi, which we took advantage of. The room was lovely, an easy quick walk to shopping and restaurants. Parking was inexpensive and easy in the the lot almost directly across the street. Breakfast was great with a selection that would suit everyone. If you are a hiker, you need to try the Gap of Dunloe. It takes about 2 hours, and the views are stunning! It's about 10 minutes from the downtown. Be sure to visit Ross Castle and the Muckross Estate and grounds. The B&B is part of the Fairview Hotel, but up the street a bit, so don't be fooled by all the pictures you see on the website. The Copper Kettle is much more humble. To have breakfast, you need to go down the street to the actual hotel. The jacuzzi, though we enjoyed it, had a few issues (hard to turn on and the metal pieces around the jets kept falling off...perhaps those issues will get fixed).
- Roseanne (1/5): -
- Veronica (10/5): -
- Elsa and Brent (5/5): Center of Town - The location was excellent, but the parking was confusing even though it was explained. The staff seemed overwhelmed and a bit disinterested in helping us sort the lodging they provided away from the main hotel. Getting a smile out of the staff was difficult.
- Laurel (6/5): -
Káva i čaj k dispozici.
- Susan (10/5): - Clean room, National Park access, breakfast delicious and staff friendly and helpful.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Wonderful cute little place . Great location! Made it very easy to enjoy the local pubs
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Janet (4/5): Not recommended - Exceptionally small room. Horrible, sagging bed. Unhelpful staff.
- Günther (8/5): -
- Mary (8/5): Nice stay in Killarney - Great location, comfortable, clean. A bit noisy as all floors were wooden.
- Hannah (10/5): Cozy, clean, welcoming! - Check-in process was easy, and this was just the beginning of a fantastic experience! The rooms were both extremely clean and welcoming, and we just loved the charm of the BnB. Breakfast at the hotel was VERY good, and one of the owners answered a lot of my questions regarding nearby hiking and accessibility. I would absolutely return here and have already recommended Copper Kettle to friends who are coming to Ireland next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Oksana (10/5): I will book this accommodation and recommend it to my friends - I liked everything comfortable and beautiful We couldn't close the curtains, we had to cover the windows with pillows. I would advise you to look and repair them
- Sarah (7/5): Lovely place. Perfect for a one night stay. Man in the hotel for check in needs to work on his manner - Location is great. It was exactly what we needed for a one night stay. The man in the hotel for check-in was extremely rude. He was sharp, blunt, unfriendly and unpleasant. I also observed him interact with other guests to whom he was horrible. 4pm check in is also very late.
- Angela (10/5): Home away from home:) - The apartment was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious. I highly recommend staying there.
- Wilfred (8/5): -
- Keane (10/5): -
- Lori (10/5): - Absolutely ADORED our stay! Super convenient, breakfast was exceptional, it is super handy to everything, and it was a lovely clean room. A true joy to stay here!!!
- Regitze (10/5): - Alt!! Fremragende -
- Janell (10/5): - It was convenient and clean. Quaint little B&b.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Most uncomfortable beds ever! You could feel the springs and they “popped” every time you moved. Very small
- Monelle (8/5): Pas d »ascenseur -
- Paul & Claire Grainger (5/5): - Breakfast was very nice, room was warm Not enough leg room for the toilet, had to sit side ways. Bathroom door didn’t lock and we had to ensure it is really shut otherwise it would slowly open.
The room was really only big enough for a couple, not two friends needing to use both beds, as the couple could put their luggage on the 2nd Bed.
As there was room for a couple of vehicles in front of the building am unsure why these can’t be used or reserved -not pleasant having to push your bags along the street in the rain from car park even though it isn’t a huge distance.
It maybe a good idea to indicate that there are a few stairs to carry your bags up to get to your room as some people may struggle with that.
- Hamada (8/5): -
- Pat Marshall and (10/5): - Delightful. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely clean room.
- Mary (9/5): -
- Erica Christina (10/5): - Nice B&B, conveniently located. No parking on site but city parking is just accross the street and prices were very low. Check in is on on-site but at the hotel down the road, very close and convenient. The location was great to walk around to many shops, restaurants and pubs. No fan or AC, so not sure how hot it would get on summer days. We traveled in May and it was perfect.
- Katherine (8/5): - This property is quirky. The decorations were much to be desired. However, with the curtains and lights we were able to make it very dark and quiet leaving it some of the best sleep we had in Ireland. The location is perfect next to plenty of pubs, shopping, and public transiet. The parking was easy. With the activities in the area our vehicle was not in the parking lot during pay times so we got to park for free.
- Kelsey (10/5): -
- John (10/5): - Air conditioning
- Donna Marie (8/5): - The breakfast was fabulous!
- Anne (10/5): -
- Ann-Charlott (6/5): - Läget var bra! Trevlig personal och god frukost.
Sköna sängar. Rummet var väldigt trångt för tre personer.
- Matthias (9/5): -
- Larissa (6/5): - Unfortunately for us, we had issues with the bathroom. And the bed was so small and uncomfortable. It was quaint but we could hear the other guests in their rooms or closet.
- Koncsag (9/5): -
- Amy (10/5): - Easy access to town
- Kelly (7/5): - Very very clean. Uncomfortable bed. Advertised as B&B but no access to common room (apart from hotel). Floors very squeaky.
- Joanne (8/5): -
- Harvey (7/5): -
- Jonathan (3/5): - Location The host wasn't pleasant
- wendy (8/5): -
- Steve (7/5): - Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were really really small.
- Bernard (5/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Central location and friendly staff - Great location and comfortable room! Not a dislike, but parking is seperate to the actual accommodation.
- Kate (10/5): -
- Jack (5/5): -
- Fitzgerald (1/5): -
- Khin Nandar (10/5): Lovely SOLO Urban Hide with Copper Kettle B&B - Room is very nice and calm setting for a solo traveler, I love the Jacuzzi bath in the room, that is very confortable after long walk in National park and unexpected for B&B NA
- Bridget (10/5): - The staff here were so helpful and generous. The property was beautiful, conveniently located in Killarney town, and the breakfast was included and excellent.
- Rebekah (10/5): - Loved everything about this little BnB, it was super cute and cozy! We had breakfast in the dining room of the hotel that is part of the property and the staff there were all as sweet as they could be, and the breakfasts were amazing!! Other than some noisy neighbors the first night it was a perfect stay, and my sister and I felt perfectly safe walking around the neighborhood even at night!! Would highly recommend this BnB to anyone!
- Adam (10/5): Crap - Never answered the door so we left
Awesome They were not there to take our booking
Nothing
- Susan (3/5): Dodgy heating system. Room cold - The decor of the room was nice The mattresses felt about 50 years old.
The heating turns off when room gets warm and you must ring hotel for them to put heating bk ok. Net curtain on bathroom door, so not alot of privacy
- Grimes (8/5): -
- Joan (4/5): - Good location Small room & small bathroom. Had to go to hotel for breakfast
- stacey (8/5): -
- Pat (9/5): -
- Norman (8/5): Pleasant stay and good value. - Room a little cramped Had room with roof windows, no explanation of controls.
