- Daniela (10/5): Postcard views and beautiful peaceful accommodation - View!!! Postcard amazing location in an old but renovated 160 yrs old Manor House, nestled in Lavaux region vineyards, our apartment was ample, clean, 3 big rooms including a living room, with direct view to the amazing Lehman lake.
Very friendly staff who let us use the kitchen to cook and gave us a tour to the local wine cellar. Location is great to visit the whole area. Close to supermarkets. Information on Booking was a bit misleading as it seemed that the apartment had a kitchen (which we always book). It ended up not having a kitchen so info should be clearly stated. but we were kindly allowed to use the place’s beautiful and well equipped kitchen with a ln amazing view.
- Pascale (9/5): Wir kommen wieder! - Stilvoll eingerichtet
Traumhafte Lage und Aussicht Sanitäranlagen im Badezimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Wasserhahn, Waschbecken und Badmöbel).
- Corinne (8/5): -

- Kelly (9/5): Beautiful and spacious accommodation - So spacious and amazing views. The small village was lovely but really easy to access other towns such as Vevey Lausanne and Montreaux. I paid for a wine whilst there which was delicious! Very clean and comfy beds. It would have been a bit easier arriving if someone had been there. But we called the hiss and the picked up right away and helped us find our room, so not a big issue and we did come before the main season started.

- Tonya (10/5): - Beautiful location on a vineyard overlooking Lac-Leman/ Lake Geneva. The staff was very helpful and kind. It was the perfect stay for our family of 6. They also had wine from their vineyard for sale which we really enjoyed.

A UNESCA site with comfortable , clean accommodation. The host was very helpful and a fabulous breakfast. Easy to leave your car and a walk through vineyards to a train station that’s connects you up and down the lake of Geneva. We will definitely return.
- Claudia (9/5): -
- thomas (10/5): We will be back....!- - Beautiful traditional winery with inviting top accommodation settled in glorious surrounds with spectacular views over a world heritage area away from the hustle and bustle. For sure the most beautiful wine area in the whole world! Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of life and wonderful local produce (wine tasting, cosy restaurants etc.). Lovely and helpful local staff with a lot of knowledge about the area and history.
- JINKE (10/5): -
- STEPHANE (10/5): A great stay in the heart of Lavaux - Very nice location, beautiful view, great terrace Nothing
- Richard (10/5): Jewel of a domaine, nestled in UNESCO World Heritage vineyards - This is nothing less than where you want to be if you want to get closer to those UNESCO World Heritage vineyards. The house is old, renovated with charm and exactly what you would hope for and where you would hope to be. A charming terrace under the shared vines to sip some of their premier Chasselas. Breakfast was superb. In the evening we took a winding path through the vineyards to St. Saphorin to dine on -what else? - filets de perche. The place is truely a jewel nestled amojgst the vineyards with that million dollar view of lake and French alps.
- fiona (2/5): A very disappointing stay. I would not recommend. - This property was not great. The good points were the bed was comfortable and it wasn’t dirty.
It was a quiet location. I would not however recommend. This property was very disappointing. On arrival we were met by no one. No staff were present the first day at all. We were not warned about this. There was no number to contact. There was a laminated sheet with my name to then try to locate our room.
Our room was not in the main house (with the view of the lake). It was in a converted outhouse. It was very basic. The view was of the main house and trees but if we twisted to an angle you could just see the lake.
The location is very rural. The views of the vineyards was lovely but it was not clear where you could walk.
We tried to walk to a restaurant. The choice was walking on the narrow windy road with no pavement (a car nearly hit my husband) or trying to navigate through the vineyards fearful we were trespassing and with no clear walk down to the lake.
The restaurant was then a campsite cafe which was not yet serving food.
We headed back and drove to the nearest town/village but very little was open. We then tried Vevey (which was very nice with a lovely lakeside walk) and had more success.
Returning to the property there is a difficult sharp and steep turn to navigate. It is not easy. Parking on the front in front of the property is much easier. You do then have several steps to go up so if you have mobility problems or heavy luggage this may be challenging.
Overall we were really disappointed with this property.
It was very unwelcoming (ie no welcome at all). The location though beautiful is not handy. The accommodation was very basic and I felt that this was overpriced for the experience we had.
- Ciprian (10/5): -
- Liesel (8/5): - Breakfast, view and location are excellent.
- Simona (8/5): -
- Brigitta (8/5): Für Durchreise gut geeignete Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage - Tolle Lage eines sehr alten Weinguts, praktische, saubere Wohnung. Für Autofahrer, sehr enge Zufahrtsstrasse.
- Damien (9/5): -
- Fouzi (8/5): -
- Samadi (7/5): -
- Christian (9/5): -
- Xiaowen (10/5): We had a great time, thank you! - The lake facing suite is amazing, spacious and has a great view! Onsite parking is a bonus. Driving up onto the drive way is a little scary for me but manageable with great care. None
- Simon (10/5): -
- Vinay (8/5): A well-preserved property with a nice view of the lake - The location was incredible. The resort was well-preserved and the kitchen was well-stocked.
- Catherine (10/5): Nice, clean, bright, spacious with a well equipped kitchen in a historic building near Vevey. - The upper floor family room suite at the back of the property was well kept, clean, bright, spacious and quiet. There is one long hallway with a bathroom/shower on the far end, then kitchen, separate dining/TV area, bedroom and bedroom. There was a wonderful view to Lac Léman to the south and a very small window with a view of the vineyards to the north. You can walk in the vineyards behind the hotel for fantastic views of Switzerland and France. Several local bottles of wine were placed in the kitchen and fridge and the prices were listed on the board outside the room. There is a terrace in front of the main building and it appears that there are times for wine tasting in the afternoon, but we did not partake. Parking inside the hotel grounds. I would highly recommend parking on the street in front of the hotel (Rte Cantonal Vevey-Forel Lavaux-Chexbres), where there was plenty of space. You can also park inside the hotel grounds, but the turn into the property is very sharp and dangerous if you don't make the turn and have to back up onto the main road. I would not approach the Chem de Burignon access street while driving up the hill from Vevey/Corseaux, but rather approach the turn coming down the hill from Chexbres. Better yet, park in front of the hotel and carry your luggage to the room. FYI, there is no washing machine in the unit, but I assume that you could ask the hotel staff to launder clothes if needed.
- Tomasz (10/5): Czy romantic wineyard - Excellent view of the łąkę and wineyayard. Very tadty and interesting petnat chasselas You need to inform very clearly that you need a breakfast. You can hear the street which is very close.
- Lance (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were really friendly. They took time out of preparing for an event to greet us and make us a reservation at the only restaurant in town which was really nice. The setting is beautiful and the flat was accommodating with everything we needed including a few options of different wines frome their winery. The train station is 15 minute walk through the terraced vineyard and through the town of St. Saphorine this was a beautiful walk. Not recommended with heavy luggage or if you struggle to walk steep hills. Breakfast was a reasonable cost, staff were very gracious and nice, with great views on their terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No complaints!
- Maria (9/5): I was there with a friend and had a wonderful time. - The views are incredible. The place is charming, very clean, the beds are also very comfortable.
- Sheryl (8/5): Wonderful lodging with some caveats - This lodge provides an authentic Swiss wine country experience. The two bedroom apartment has stunning views from every window. It is clean with a well-stocked, if tiny kitchen and great shower. The property is accessed through a narrow drive that requires a sharp hair-pin turn from/into a blind corner - frightening each time!
The apartment is reached by a steep spiral staircase, which we found difficult to ascend with luggage.
One small room serves as a dining area. It has no "living room" and thus no comfortable place to lounge beside in a bed.
- David (8/5): Good value for the money with a comfortable bed. - It would be really pretty once the trees leaf out. The biggest problem we had was making the sharp right turn off the main road. We missed it and got redirected by google onto roads the size of sidewalks with rock walls on one side and cliffs on the other. Impossible to pass a car had we met one. The best way to get to the property was to come from the west, so that turn is a straight shot and not a right U turn when you come from the East. There was no one there when we checked in. It took us a while to figure out where we were staying.
- Steff (8/5): Very good -
- Lulu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Petr (8/5): Very good -
- Alec (9/5): Superb -
- George (10/5): 5 nights are not enough to stay here. - We loved the whole place. The superb location, the superb rooms, very friendly hospitality. We stayed for 5 nights and had 2 bedrooms and a living room for 2 adults and a child. All rooms for very nicely lit with natural light, high ceilings. Nice breakfast was offered, for dinner we bought foodstuff at local supermarkets and had it in our room or on the terrace overlooking the vineyards and Lake Geneva. Wonderful experience. The property also was selling great wine which went nicely with the food. Dishes and microwave were provided for in the room. The village of St.Saphorin is only 10 minutes away on foot walking down having breathtaking views over the region. In the village you have nice restaurants to visit.
- Anand (9/5): Superb - The views from the property are amazing. We had an excellent stay.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Lovely, active and great despite the weather - Beautiful setting in the lovely winyards of Lavaux. Great for walking and enjoying winter. Old wine castle. Spacious practical rooms with a kitchen and different rooms which is great when you have teenagers. Don’t miss the breakfast at the terrace. Not much open to eat in the area on Sundays.
- Wang (10/5): Overall experience is outstanding. - An experienced to stay in a domaine, welcoming staff, Outstanding breakfast, Comfy bed, Cosy bedroom and living room. Nothing
- Paul (7/5): Good - Views were great, and the kitchen had what we needed. The bathroom worked for our small group. Parking was very stressful (tiny roads). The cleaning and drying of dishes before checkout was a hassle.
The fridge was stocked full of drinks, but all of them had to be purchased.
The common area was a kitchen table and one comfy chair and a tv. Just a small couch would have been better.
- Peter (9/5): Very friendly host and beautiful location - Excellent location and spectacular view
- Bernd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (8/5): I favorite stay of our 3 weeks in Switzerland. We spent 6 nights. - We loved the views, seated amid the terraces and overlooking the lake.

My friends were also very happy! Many thanks for the staff! Very nice breakfast on the terrace with the most beautiful view !!!
- Dr (10/5): Exceptional -
- R (4/5): Hospitality of the lowest level possible - The view We were looking forward to this stay, but it turned out to be a big, big disappointment.
No welcome what so ever. Note on the door only, we had to find our way ourselves. No hosts on site. Breakfast booking wasn't communicated to the very kind girl who had to serve it the other morning (embarrasing for both sides, but she picked it up very well). Hospitality of the lowest level possible.
- Yuk (7/5): Friendly staff - The location near the vineyard walking route. The pillows are the most soft one I experienced in my life that we can't sleep well.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Hermann (8/5): Very good -
