Guest Reviews
- Jared (2/5): - Owner refused to acknowledge my cancellation. Very unprofessional
- Nelli (10/5): - The apartment was very nice and clean, we had a great stay.
Communication may be difficult at times but I was able to get a hold of someone eventually and they answered all my questions.
The deposit was done through an etransfer and should be refunded within 24-48hrs, so we will see.
- MikeP (8/5): - At several times the key fob stopped working and although promised by the property owners, new fobs were not delivered. This meant we would have to ask the concierge every time we would want to go up to our unit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is an excellent property. Extraordinary location, amenities, apartment view. All; All was excellent. From my floor I view all Toronto downtown setting. Beautiful. The apartment comfort is like your own place to live. You will find nearby attractions like the CN Tower, Rippleys Aquarius and the City hall walk away distance. I recommended 100%.
- jeffrey (4/5): Beware - check in was poor, communications terrible.
We did not get parking for the first two days as advertised, we paid heavy parking fees across the street.
Veeds then charged us for parking, been calling for weeks with some promise of a refund that still has not been re embused.
- Edward (8/5): Decent stay - Location was great. Condo and amenities were good. Check in process is not the best. The people at the building can do nothing to help you as they tell you to contact your host. We couldn’t check in until after 5 which isn’t fun after a day of travels and when you have evening reservations. Our particular condo was not very well equipped at all. Very basic, not many dishes, no TVs in the bedrooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I did not like the water was shut off the morning of my second night but I realize there is little the property owner can do about it.
- Moises (4/5): - At the last minute they change me to different location which was very far from what I booked at the first time by lying to me that it’s only one block away
2. It was more lower class from the first one I booked and pay. It is very Frustrating and unfair.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Location and Functional Apartment - Blackout curtains would have been appreciated and although i would stay again there was room to improve the cleanliness of the apartment (224) that i stayed in. Overall i was happy with the place and would stay again
- MikeP (10/5): - Property had amazing location downtown close to financial district and entertainment district. I would have liked coffee but there was none to be found.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I’ve stayed with Veeds prior to this stay so that says it all with being a repeat customer. The Veeds properties are fantastic and you are very well looked after with amenities.
My only slight gripe would be toward previous guests and how they threat the property; careless, meaning that some things could do with a fresh coat of paint or slight repairs, that’s nothing at all against Veeds themselves though.
- Clint (10/5): - We loved the modern touch of the entire property, as well as the location of the property related to the areas of our interest.
- Birdwatcher (8/5): - The location is great. Convenient to CN Tower and Rogers Centre. We went to Blue Jays game and the short walk was easy and extremely convenient. If you're looking for the amenities and comfort of a nice hotelwith free parking this is not it. I was provided complete instructions on check in and parking so no complaint with that. This is a very nice rental condo in a large high-rise building among other units that are privately owned. We got the feeling that the owners weren't excited about renters being there. The feeling may have come from the cold personalities of big city dwellers.
- Tim (8/5): - elevators out of control. 1 broken and 1 not working properly. 10-15 min wait
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I thought you were paying for where the apartment was located rather than facilities. I was disappointed with the apartment generally for the price and do not believe that it was value for money.
- Tracy (10/5): - Great location. Located right next to the CN Tower and convenient to public transportation. The apartment was clean and comfortable. After touring the city all day, we loved coming back to spend time at the pool, which was also very clean with a great view of the city. Checking in was a breeze. I would definitely recommend the property and would stay there again.
- Mark (8/5): Clean and Convenient for Downtown Toronto - The room was clean and organized. However, the check in was a bit delayed as the room wasn't ready at 4 pm (checkout time) and the wifi wasn't working.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Was a nice place, minus the fact it could have been cleaned better and there was no TV.
- HELEN (8/5): Great location for a Blue Jays game - Was a wonderful location to catch a Blue Jays game
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was very convenient location for my sporting events....being on 31 Floor was time consuming getting up and down....but many lounges and restaurants very close to access...overall I will be back again
- Manson (10/5): - was very clean and modern. the view and location were fantastic
thank you!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The communication is excellent. We ran into a few minor snafus with parking and a flooded shower, and the hosts always respond within minutes and handle the situation. Make sure you reserve a parking spot in advance if you need one. Great location.
- nancy (8/5): - Great location. Good service.
- Paul (8/5): - Very nice well appointed unit. The key pick up was a bit of a disappointment as I arrived and the room key was held under another name. Fortunately they were reachable by phone and clarified the error.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Great Location although difficult to find and check in as company had no permanent office in the building of the appartment. The 2 bedroom appartment was disappointing as the wardrobe in bedroom 1 was broken and could not be used. Bedroom 2 was located in the living/kitchen area and had 2 glass panels for privacy. Unfortunately 1 glass panel was cracked and held in place with sticky tape, very dangerous, and the other one was off the tracking rail so could not be closed. When we contacted customer support to request a new appartment we were told there were none and the panel would not fall. The final straw in this disaterous stay was when we lost internet access and therefore the use if the television. We contacted customer support on numerouse occassions from public wifi and were told it would be rectified. We did not have internet access for 4 out of our 5 day stay.
When we returned home we contacted customer support with our complaint and were offered a refund on our parking charges which we accepted. To date we have not received this refund which is indicative of the customer support at Veeds Private Suites
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Check in was frustrating and staff were not very willing to help solve a minor issue. We had paid for parking and the fob was not left in our suite. This caused a lot of confusion and delayed meetings due to a much longer check in. Very frustrating. The company did reimburse me for costs incurred.
- Darryl (8/5): - This property was fantastic. We all had such a lovely time here and it truly felt like home.
We're already looking to consider another booking.
My only negative comment would be that at check in after a long day traveling the last thing you want is for arrangements to change which is precisely what happened to me.
- Darlene (8/5): - Overall had a great stay at this suit. Would have been better if we could’ve controlled the temp in the master bedroom. It was automatically set to heat up at night so we woke 3 times each night having to reset the thermostat. Only other complaint is that the curtains were not room darkening so didn’t completely cover windows and let in lots of light at sunrise so was hard to sleep. Plus the curtain rod in master room looked like it was about to fall off the wall. The patio door was next to impossible to open. Otherwise our stay was great. Perfect location where we could walk to so many attractions plus right across the road from Rogers’s. I’d stay here again for sure but I’d want to be assured of proper instructions on how to control the thermostat.
- Manda (10/5): A room with a view - Great apartment with good facilities in an excellent position. We arrived by train and it was close to the station so easy. The room had an excellent view as really high up! Great night views too. It was very hot when we were there but an extra fan had been provided and the air con was good.
We didn’t get to use the pool area as too much to do and not enough time. Looked good though from the top of the CN Tower!
- Paul (6/5): 300 front street west - The apartment was ok. The location was awesome. The setup was good. There were a few issues, that I emailed the veeds support on the first day, but got no reply or action. The floor was dirty ( it didn't look dirty) but there was a lot of dirt from the balcony that was brought into the unit. So much so we had to wear our shoes the entire time. The bathroom door did not close. It was starting to come apart. If it did get closed; it was extremely hard to open. The electrical outlet behind the couch was very loose, so much so I didn't want to plug anything into it, afraid of a fire hazard. ( I was going to tell them about that when they contacted me, but they never did. I only realized after I sent my first email). The TV box kept resetting and then you had to search for the program you were watching. The remote was spotty. The channel selection was very impressive. The WIFI was good, choose the 5G option. The location was great. The pool area was clean, the pool was cold, but the kids were used to swimming in a heated pool.
- Huda (8/5): - The apartment building was amazing in a central location where everything is super close to you! The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the apartment itself was very spacious and lovely! The only thing I would complain about is the house keeping since we had to wait almost 40min for her to finish after 3:30pm Check-In time and then on the last day she came a half an hour earlier. But overall it was great and I really recommend it!
- Kam (6/5): an Air conditioner - The mattress is not firm and we cannot sleep well.
Air-conditioner is not enough cold and stop when the temperature is 22-23 degree.
- Kristina (2/5): This company is awful! - We booked to stay here for 3 nights. On check in we realized we did not receive the room we booked. We tried and tried to get a hold of veeds to rectify the situation..... nothing.
From then we realized the unit ac was broken, tv was not working, unit was not stocked in dishes like stated, and was not clean. Only thing the cleaning person had done from what we could gather was make the beds and sit the toiletries out. (On that note the blow dryer was also broken)
The Floors were so dirty and our frown had instantly taken an allergy attack from the dust.
Again we tried over the course of our stay to contact veeds and Expedia but we were unable to rectify anything. These phone conversations were awful and nearly ruined our trip.
Upon coming home I spoke with Expedia and were very oppologetic and were able to accommodate for us. Veeds has yet to contact me via phone or email.
They are horrible DO NOT book a stay with them.
- david (2/5): Beautiful view/terrible management service - I privately contacted the management company three weeks ago on this particular unit and never received a response. Check-in was 3:30. I walked in and found towels on floor, trash, shoes. Called management. Was told there was confusion who was to clean, but would send someone. They never called me to say it was ready. We checked again at 5:30. Had been cleaned, but the toilet was filthy and shower glass was caked with scum. Called company again. Said they wouldn't charge me clean up fee and would send someone the next day to clean (we cleaned the toilet). I also then told them the Wi-FI wasn't working. Was told they would have to contact the owner, but would leave me instructions. We returned late in the afternoon the next day and no cleaner. I called AGAIN and they said someone would come. I reminded them about no Wi-Fi. A cleaner did eventually come, but the toilet and shower were still not really fully cleaned. I know it isn't a hotel, but this was beyond reasonable. NO TV or computer access the full stay. Uncleaned bathroom. Nobody directly answers the management phone. They call back and the person clearly doesn't fully grasp English. I had to use the Star Bucks Wi-Fi from the lobby just to get any work done. The view was fabulous. The actual apartment was nice. Location perfect. I just wouldn't rent here again. There are other places
- Ashley (10/5): good location - It was good, more of an airbnb then a hotel I'd wager but the place was large and was really close to the CN tower, like a minute away. Also the tour bug route was right next to it so we could catch it quickly to see all over toronto
- Britt (10/5): - I loved this location. Will definitely be staying again for my next visit! Check in and check out was easy and it is centrally located to so much.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location in the city - Overall I was pleased with the flat and the location. Really just the little things which kept it from being a perfect stay like the bedrooms only had blinds and no curtains so it was really bright in the Mornings. The other thing which was annoying was The internet connection was poor and as it had an internet tv that didn’t work well either.
- Jose (10/5): Niagara Falls - Awesome view!
- James (8/5): Business trip - Overall stay was great , it may have just been my unit but it got to almost 30 degrees Celsius in the day with the window and sun coming in . Other than that it was great spacey place that even had a kodi box set up on the tv for movies/tv shows.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Gross, noisy, like a dormitory - I was very disappointed with the lack of services and cleanliness of the room and building overall. I needed to ask a question so called the Veeds hotline a few times but no one answered. The bathroom towels are old. I went to make coffee in the morning to only find old moldy coffee left in the maker. Gross.
Won't recommend it or stay there again.
- Linda (6/5): Great location - Great location, Nice enemities But Response to requests for assistance was slow.( over 24 hours)
and would not have required as much assistance if we had had manuals for several appliances such as the range top and the television.
The quilts on beds were twin and did not really fit the queen beds.
the lighting in the master suite was placed at the end of the counter top which did not give much light.
The dishwasher was new so it was not hooked up so we had to wait until Tuesday for someone to hook it up!
Also there was no plug for the tub and was again awhile before we got it
- Verified traveler (4/5): Falling apart - The condo is falling apart. Door handles falling off, cupboards broken, dishwashers inoperative, plus no staff support.
Walls paper thin: woken every morning to a yapping dog, two units away.
One night up to two a.m. With annoying music.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Steps to CN Tower - Great views. Peace and quiet. Room was everything we needed to feel at home.
- Stephanie (6/5): Bad service - We rocked up at 3.30 to a putrid room which hadnt been cleaned since the last guest. Veeds would not answer emails or calls. Luckily a cleaner rocked up so we went and sat in a cafe another hour to wait. Also wifi had incorrect info so cleaner had to help us. Great location but would not stay again due to the service.
- Vanessa (10/5): - Everything was self explanatory from check in to wifi to parking and the view was amazing!
- Ray (10/5): Hotel by CN tower - Overall I’m very happy the hotel is nice.
We just have some issues at first night with hot water and heater but the other days was fine. The master bedroom bathroom faucet was loose and the dishwasher was not working properly.
Another thing is no parking available at hotel we use a parking lot next door but they charge $50 per day.
Certainly I will come back again but will be preferred at summer time!
- scott (8/5): Great location but lift facilities terrible - The suite itself was good. Clean and generally in good condition aside from the broken dishwasher. Location was spot on and walking distance to most things. The biggest frustration were the lifts. With only 3 lifts servicing this particular level 21 at one stage all 3 we’re out of order. We had to catch the other lifts to level 28 and walk down the first me stairs. No a big issue going down but going up with luggage would have been a nightmare. A resident told us that 1 lift had been out of order for over 6 months. In general it was a 10-15 min wait for the lifts.
- Arash (10/5): - I like This place.only problem was the fob access to hotel.
- Felicity Gay (8/5): Great Base for Doing Things in Downtown Toronto - The apartment was much more spacious than we expected. It was very clean and there was a tremendous view of the city from the patio window. We got to see a fantastic sunset as it faced west. We had a booking in the Entertainment District and the apartment was ideally located for this - together with local bars and restaurants. We would have appreciated better communication with Veeds though. They were a bit slow to answer E-mails and we had to leave a voicemail when we found out that the apartment block security entry fob was not in the room. We would definitely consider staying there again and we have recommended it to our friends who have shown interest.
- richard (10/5): great , super - First class accomodations. I am recommanding it 100%
