someoneelse07 (2/5): unsafe - Not recommended. As we were out, somebody rifled through our luggage, most likely somebody with a room key. Fortunately we had all valuables with us. No reaction from the front desk when approached with this. The room itself is basic, bathroom is small, cleanliness is ok. It is noisy, with noise from the streets and neighbouring rooms.

Carlos (8/5): Bueno para pasar la noche. - El personal muy atento, a dos calles del parque principal, bien para pasar una noche, la luz del aparato del aire acondicionado ilumina la habitación y eso no nos permitió dormir placenteramente esto fue muy molesto, el estacionamiento es la calle pero el lugar es seguro por momentos no había agua caliente por la mañana, pero fuera de esto todo bien.

Jamine (6/5): - We stayed here for one night and loved the location and the staff. Unfortunately the reason we took the superior room was because it had a bathtub, which was not able to be filled as the water pressure was very low and there was not much hot water available. The room was on a very busy corner and the noise from the street was significant until about midnight and again in the morning. The night we stayed the internet was not working so we didn't have a great sleep or experience in the room. The manager was great as were all of the staff and if you took one of the rooms farther away from the main street and behind the wall, I think you might have a good sleep. It was also one of the more expensive places we stayed in the area - Valladolid is a fun town to visit and you can walk to the centre in a few minutes from the hotel.
Max (8/5): - Clean place, but lacks some basics such as hot water (got above cold, but not quite warm), hooks for towels, coat hangers, and black out curtains. Also, street traffic is noisy, not bad for me, but my wife is a light sleeper. She wore ear plugs and eye mask. The staff were friendly.
Rodrigo (6/5): - Room I got ( #1) was not very appealing. Even entrance door was not in good shape. Room was clean, bathroom also clean but looked dated. It has two beds, one in great shape and the other very saggy. Due to room 1 is the first room next to lobby, front door personnel conversations can be hear inside the room, and I had to walk out and give “the look” to the cleaning lady to lower her voice volume and laughs at early am hours.
VeniceCAguy (6/5): Postcards Never Arrived - The hotel was fine for one night. The location was well situated a few blocks from the main square. Besides a few on-site parking spots, there was plenty of free street parking around. My only negative experience was with the stamped postcards which I foolishly left with them to put in the post. Maybe they did post them, but I know that they never did arrive.
J_Borges_01 (8/5): Nice place,but can get better. - The bathroom is quite clean, that my favourite place, nice tv and AC, good facilities in the room, although beds are already old and are not confortables, it hurt my back, WiFi is weak. Nice personal and i liked it but it can get better, focus on detail.
Amanda81301 (10/5): Loved this hotel! Great value! Close to Plaza! - We felt so lucky to find this gem of a hotel! It is just a few blocks from the plaza and lots of great restaurants. It is very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The decor was beautiful, with plants in Mexican pottery everywhere! We loved this place and didn't want to leave! The price was very affordable!
C1873VFsarahm (8/5): Good location, nice facility & people - We spent 2 nights here post-Christmas Dec 2015. The rooms are very clean & the corridor between the ground floor rooms & the wall by the street is a lovely place for an evening drink. Wifi works fine. Location is also good, 2 blocks from the central square, 3 blocks from Cenote Zaci. Prior to arriving, I emailed several times with the reception. I don't speak much Spanish & they don't speak much English, but we managed to communicate. One member of our group needed a ground floor room & that was available as requested by email. The off-street parking is limited (4 spaces) but there was always room for our rental car. Our rooms each had 3 beds, 2 doubles & 1 twin. We had a/c, ceiling fans & hot water. Be careful booking this hotel through a booking agency (we used expedia), I'm not sure the hotel is notified of the reservation in a timely fashion. Best to contact them directly!
653edgarm (8/5): Nice and the price not bad - I stayed there and it was a nice experience. Bathroom was clean, great location (2 blocks away the central park) room comfortable. I have to say that service is not too good (I mean the reception or information) but I used it just to sleep and take a shower so, I highly recommend if you're just looking for a place to rest while visiting Valladolid
733KatyS (8/5): Clean, comfortable, good location - All you need clean and comfort. Perfect location just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. Free wifi fast on third floor. Only down sides are no breakfast included and receptionists don't speak a word of English. The manager was very helpful though. Highly recommend staying here and getting a taxi early to Chichen Itza to avoid the crowds.. They appear in their masses from 11am onwards. Would come again, what a beautiful town.
Lilygontard (6/5): Clean, average, but a little overpriced - We spent two nights at this hotel in December 2013. When we arrived, the woman at the reception didn't speak English and said we had to pay cash for the room. After putting our luggage in the room, we dealt with a man at reception who spoke English, said we could pay with credit card and the rate was cheaper than the price the woman quoted us earlier. Aside from that, our room (no. 6) was clean and huge (two queen-sized beds; one of which was unsleepable because the mattress coils were prominent features). The walls are thin at Hotel Rosalia and if you have one of the rooms near the stairwell.... Well, it's not so quiet, it's not a raging party either. No safe in the room, but air conditioning worked fine and there was hot water for showers. The pictures on Booking.com are a bit misleading... The rooms aren't as glamourous in real life as in digital. The common areas are nice (and photogenic), but this is an average hotel (sheets and towels could use an upgrade for the price) that is a little overpriced. We moved to a more central, cheaper and slightly more upscale hotel (it had a pool) for our third night in Valladolid. Hotel Rosalia is a bit of a walk from the bus station. Warning: the house numbers are not in chronological order on Calle 45, make sure to take 40 or 38 to Calle 45, or you'll find yourself wondering where in the heck Hotel Rosalia is!
