- David (8/5): - Property is very nice, rooms are clean but rather dated. Bathtub was very slippery, wife slipped and would have hit her head on the tub if not for the shower curtain.
- Claire E. (8/5): - The building overall was solid. The gym could be updated from the look which feels like late 80s and 90s. Overall a decent stay , if a bit overpriced for its amenities.

The building and decor is older (dated) so if you’re looking for a more modern stay this wouldn’t be it. They serve coffee and pastries in the morning, free of charge. Overall good experience if I had to stay here again I would.

- Kathleen (4/5): - Our room was not available at check in which was an already late 4:00. We were in town for a wedding and waited until almost 5:00 for our room to be available. The front desk staff was not friendly and I am sure that others were complaining about no check-in but maybe offer an apology or a drink voucher at the very least. Finally, the tub was receiving back-up overflow from who knows where and during the evening of our stay on August 16, water started streaming from the ceiling in the bathroom/vanity area, causing us to exit at 6:45 am.

- Nicole (6/5): - Need to adhere to closing pool when stated on the door. I was awakened at 2am by people being in the pool. Isn't the pool supposed to close at 11pm? Hotel needs a upgrade. Period. Mold in tub.

- Jamie (8/5): - It was a nice place to stay the night. Didn't get to take advantage or explore the options they offered since we only stayed the night after a concert in Cleveland. It was clean and the staff were very friendly.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Our room was ok, I was expecting a microwave in our room. The air conditioner was outdated. I had to clean the balcony chairs myself. They gave me cleaner at the front desk. It should have been cleaned. They couldn't can it because housekeeping went home for the evening. I called down to tell them I was done with the cleaner and they told me to bring it down! For that price, I shouldn't have had to clean or take the cleaner to them. I really liked where our room was I was very quiet.
- Jodi (6/5): - Positives: Quiet and clean. Not sure at what price point actual bedding should be expected. This room was $180 plus tax. Two sheets and a light blanket were the “bedding”. The room was quiet both nights, I was surprised there was no coffee available in the mornings. My only negative is the lack of bedding.
- Daniel (2/5): - Very disappointed. We called the front desk because at 11:30pm a wedding party was blasting music at the pool and jumping in with clothes on. They were rude and said too bad the party has contracted to use the pool. The question remains why did you sell us a room that looks out onto the pool. Secondly the property advertised free breakfast. When I went for breakfast the dining area was for wedding party only. The front desk said again too bad they contracted. Facilities have not been updated in thirty years and mold in the bathtub. Drive a little further away for a better night sleep and less rude hosts.

- Jeremy (10/5): - I stayed in a nice suite room that for some reason was the same price as a regular one, when I booked it. It was nice and quiet, and relaxing. My only issue was I was really hoping to take a bath, but I couldn't get the stopper to actually stay down, and it wouldn't fill the tub, so I had to throw away the bath products I brought with me. I probably could have called about it, but it felt too much like a first world problem to complain about. I just thought I'd warn bath enjoyers. Otherwise it was a clean and comfortable room, In fact I think I might come back and stay again someday. I felt like I was one of probably 3 guests in the whole hotel on Monday night, which to me is as good as it gets.
- Michael (4/5): - The poor experience started when I called to let the hotel know I’d be checking in late. The staff person was abrupt. When I actually checked in the person was ambivalent and unfriendly. The facility does not seem like anything has been updated in over 30 years. It is very dated and worn. There were very few people in the hotel. Reminded me of “The Shining” movie. The rooms were not the cleanest and I did not have any cleaning service the 3 nights I was there. Run don’t walk from this property.

- Lu Ann (6/5): Out of date hotel - The hotel is very outdated and smell of mold in most parts of the hotel. The pillows not good and bathroom, you could hear every flush. Not the best value for a one night stay.
- Kelly (8/5): - For the most part, my stay was good. My suite was large and good. The hotel is a little dated and dark in terms of ambient lighting. Dark rugs and curtains and low level lights. The room next to me on my second night must have been part of a wedding and came back around 11p and talked very loudly and laughed with a couple other people for about four hours. It was disruptive but I chose to deal with it and not call the front desk to complain.

They receptionist told me it was the 3rd party apps fault but I showed her that i paid for 2 nights and that they told me the charge for for incidentals only. They never told me about the extra night I needed to pay for

The air conditioning seemed difficult to manipulate. We were glad to have coffee available...would have been nice to just be able to have breakfast there..but not available. The staff were very kind, nice and helpful. It was very close to our wedding venue site so that was awesome.

It was just purchased so hopefully the new owner will give it a refresh and update. The location and surrounding area are excellent. The hotel is large with a banquet area and game room which were nice to have.

But it looked like it hadn’t been updated since it was built. The lights were dim and some not working properly. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was old food stuck on the walls. Very disappointing to see the place has gone down hill.

Our two full beds were very small. Very minimal toiletries and linens provided. The pool was amazing though, one of the nicest and largest hotel pools and patios we’ve seen. Location is in a good area close to shops and restaurants.

- todd (6/5): - This was a disappointing experience for a Wyndham conference hotel. The meeting rooms are in disrepair and the restaurant/bar has odd hours, closing at 9 pm on a Saturday night. There is an odor in the hallways that is off-putting and the TV channel menu is counter-intuitive to anything I had seen before.

- Timothy (6/5): - They have conference rooms that are the first option on expedia. Those are meeting rooms with no beds!!!. I was advertised a large room then they switched me to a regular size room. Old fixtures but a classic elegant feel. 7/10
- Verified traveler (6/5): Inadequate. - Pool was very nice, staff were professional, beds were clean, but that was about it. It’s an older property that needs a pick me up. Beds were very hard, shower was rough, lots of water damage behind the wall paper, could see mold behind it, tiles cracked, thermostat didn’t work. My 75 year old parents were freezing all night due to it being so cold in the room and being unable to change setting on thermostat. We saw a cockroach in the room when we were packing and heading out. Resulting in all of us having to spray and wash everything we own upon returning home to hopefully ensure we don’t bring anything unwanted home. We talked to front desk about temperature and bug and they apologized and checked us out. It could be a wonderful place but it’s not updated, things are very work. It looks nice, but upon further inspection it’s severely outdated and cheaply fixed. Pictures are deceiving and deceptive. Walmart brand water being sold for $3 while the vending machine sits in disrepair is not acceptable.
- Mary (8/5): No Resturant till late - Room was very cold-the staff changed are room quickly-was disappointed that the restaurant was not open till late-did not have a vehicle-was hoping to eat breakfast/lunch there. Would be a plus to have some sort of dining available-especially for breakfast! Staff was very courteous.

- James (2/5): - Room was extremely outdated. Pure musk smell when we entered as soon as we turned the air on it went away. The bed if you moved you bounced in the air. Pillows were the cheap 4 dollar ones from Walmart. Manager got annoyed when staff repeated my card number like I was supposed to know what their “virtual card” was. Got hit with a fine print $25 dollar deposit making this brutal hotel room $200? No thanks makes the holiday inn look like a 5 star.

- James (6/5): - The woman at the desk when I checked in was nice and the check-in process went smoothly. The hotel rooms are dated - 1980s-ish. Didn't cause issues with my stay, but the place is dated.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We stayed at the Bethram with our infant. The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious and clean. We did have to switch rooms after the first night because we were booked on the same floor with a large event that had a lot of loud kids running around until after midnight. They did switch our rooms after we asked but didn’t help with our baggage. Overall a good place to stay in Aurora.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We picked this because it was the last available option in the area. We paid too much; it's not much of an upgrade over a Motel 6. Checked into the hotel at 1:30 AM after an accident on the highway. Night clerk took a while, and the elevator nearest our room didn't work, so we had to walk our bags and small children down a long hallway. Room had two queens and ... two paper cups for four guests. Lobby coffee could be procured by asking the restaurant staff. Coffee wasn't good. Cleanliness was okay and plenty of parking, but this isn't fancy by any stretch of the imagination.

- Jason (10/5): Would stay again. - Great service, rooms were cleaned and tidy. Halls were nice and comfortable all around. Restaurants need some serious cleaning. Carpets are pretty nasty need vacuumed and extracted clean. Food was good but nothing to shout about. Kathi at the front desk was fantastic and helped with all my needs.

- Katherine (2/5): Disappointed - Incredibly unhelpful front desk couldn’t direct us and our wheelchair bound child to the entrance closest to our room. Our room was not very cleanly-moldy shower curtain and huge stained bedspread. We were excited to enjoy the Bertram Inn because I had always heard it was very nice but I was very disappointed.

Made it a point to tell me it wasn’t included but would honor it. We had friends with us who ended up having to call Wyndham over the breakfast

- Joe (10/5): Overall good stay - The hotel and rooms were very clean and nice. There were a number of things to do in the area. We went to a couple of wineries in the area and had a great time. We included breakfast with our stay and the one staff member did not think that was a thing and was not in a good mood when interacting with us. The other staff were nice. I would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Place was empty. Rooms heavily discounted. No breakfast service. Had the place pretty much to ourselves. Obviously built to house Geauga Lake visitors which shut down years ago. Pluses and minuses.
- Donald (4/5): Stay Away! - This hotel is horrible. I was there on business for several nights. The hotel rooms have not been updated in over 20 years. The door rubbed against the floor when opening, the carpet stained, the wall paper peeling off the walls, a 1970 TV the size of a computer monitor and virtually no usable lighting in the room. Service was only slightly better than the room. Very depressing place. I will NEVER return.
- Jane (4/5): Not the best experience I've ever had at a hotel - First, I found out I paid $30 more because I booked through you guys than if I had called the hotel directly. Second, their wifi was down the entire time I was there. (They offered to move my room, but by then it was late enough that I didn't want to move my 6-year-old and her toys). Third, they gave me a room by an external door, and I had the pleasure of hearing people coming and going all night (I admit I'm a light sleeper, and I realize this is a hotel, but I wish it had been quieter). And then they left body lotion instead of conditioner in the shower (and on the counter). But the staff was wonderful and friendly, and when I complained, they comped me two breakfasts. The room was comfortable and fairly clean.

- N (4/5): - Run down and dated. Rooms were very dark. Toilet running (we fixed ourselves multiple times), light fixture went out in the Hall right above our door and had water dripping from it. When I reported this to the front desk they said something like we called our handyman but he never came. Nothing was done about it during our stay. And when we reminded the front desk at check out and shared the toilet issue too, they barely responded/didn’t seem to care. The pool looked nice though we didn’t use it.

- DYS (8/5): - Nice place--convenient location since I was in town meeting friends at El Camino. The ONLY negative thing was that the trash in the room had not been emptied from the previous guest's stay. Other than that, everything was wonderful!
- Michelle (8/5): - I had a decent stay. Nothing really to complain about other than I put my card on the door knob before 3AM for breakfast and I found out they never took it. I ended up calling for room service and they got my order wrong.
- cfr (8/5): Hotel & Conference Center - We arrived, the check in was quick & easy. The directions to the outside door which was kind of hidden were poor, but we did finally find it. We would not have seen it if it was dark out. The staff was pleasant.
