Guest Reviews

Friendly and helpful staff! The food is the only thing that should be improved (alongside better heating).

- John (7/5): Great location - Location and staff Breakfast could be better. Room with two beds was very small
- HENRIQUE (10/5): Excelente estadia! - Excelente O café espresso
- Manuel (8/5): -
- Marcela (9/5): Excellent service, knowledgeable, friendly staff - The friendly service and attention to detail. We were welcomed on entrance and the staff were professional Nothing
- Guillermo (10/5): Fantastic stay - Paradisiac location, with view and access to the Nature wonders: Petrohue river and rapids, Todos los Santos lake, Osorno volcano, fantastic trekking, rafting and fishing. Excellent restaurant and bar. Liked all
- James (9/5): A Lodge at the end of the Road. - Staff and everyone at the Lodge were extremely friendly accomodating and helpful. Tomas was a wealth of information. We would use him as a guide if we weren't skilled hikers. The Lodge is like a northern location in the Midwest. Nothing glamorous but a very nice "lodge" atmosphere. Fodo was good, the staff spoke excellent english since my Spanish sucks. My retirement goal is to speak reasonably fluent Spanish within a year upon retirement which is very soon. The buses that arrive and run at the Turis ferry destination. Ntohing that Petrohue can do about this but you should be awars that there are numerous buses that arrive daily and in the heighgt of the summer tourist season it is signifcant. Nothing to deter one from arriving at this location.
- Debra (8/5): Dinner food not great. Nice breakfast. - Location, history and excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Needs an update, especially the bathroom
- Thomas (9/5): Beautiful setting in the national park. Worth paying the premium for the location. - Breakfast and all of the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Selection was limited but worked for us.
- Marja (8/5): great start of a roundtrip Chile/Argentina, beautiful place. - breakfast, location, staff, restaurant, room, just a great place to stay.
- Miriam (9/5): Superb -

- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorraine (8/5): muy bien - The breakfast was very good. The staff very helpful. The pillows were lumpy.
- Easterling (10/5): Beautiful location and caring staff - I loved the location and history of the beautiful boutique hotel. It is literally just below the very impressive Osorno Volcano and right on the lake surrounded by mountains and volcanos. The view and surroundings are just amazing. The weather was excellent during our stay in early December. The staff is not only efficient, but they were very personable and attentive. The dining room has a beautiful view of the lake and all our meals were good-excellent. Our room was large and had a view to the lake. There was also a guide available to help you plan your outdoor activities. Hard to find something I didnt like. Our stay was too short. There was no TV in our room, but you really dont need one since the activities are focused outdoors.
- Dennis (9/5): A beautiful setting, with a pretty beach to walk on, spectacular views and a pleasant place to be. - The location is wonderful, and the staff are very nice. Booking.com indicated a superior room would have a fireplace and a larger sitting area. We paid for that type of room but what we got was one without a fireplace or the larger sitting area. The front desk staff blamed it on booking.com. We felt we overpaid for what we ultimately got. Also, the shower curtain kept falling down.
- Philip (6/5): A lovely and memorable stay! - The Breakfast was terrific! The view/scenery was stunning and the inside of the lodge restaurant, living area very inviting. The museum on the property is a treat and definitely worth exploring. A very caring and professional staff. Shower flow was weak and askew. Had to wait and run water to get it hot between certain hours as advised. WIFi should be strong around the hotel, not just in the room. An iron and ironing board would be a nice addition to have available for people who request them. With some added amenities and upgrades the Lodge should be almost fully booked year round.
- Mirko (10/5): Exceptional - A special place in a beautiful location. We loved it and regretted only to come in Winter, when most activities come to a halt in the Region. But saltos and trekking were splendid.
- Fred (10/5): Great lodge feeling. - The staff did a great job making us feel welcome and meeting our requests. They did not have decaf coffee. Even an instant alternative is nice.
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional -
