Guest Reviews
- Hans (10/5): -
- Lorraine (9/5): It was very nice. We really enjoyed the town of Seaside. Breakfast at Pig 'n Pancake was wonderful - Beds were excellent as was the cleanliness of the unit. The wifi did not work during our stay. The wifi could have worked. We understand the problem was with Spectrum and the band width available.
- Alyxandria (1/5): Utterly disgusting - The only thing good about this place was how close the actual beach was. This place is awful! Dirty dishes, holes in the ceiling, the hot water handle on the bathroom sink was busted, stains on the sheets. It was down right awful!
- Jacky (10/5): - Very clean , bed very comfortable
- Melissa (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Ronnie (5/5): Will be going to saltine next time - Had a refrigerator Bad wifi location no ac small bed noisy neighbors people parking in our spot no key card no breakfast loose toilet tv hard to us
- SARAH (10/5): -
- Jose (10/5): - Very nice upgrades haven't been here for a few years was impressed with the new look No wifi
- Lydia Anne (7/5): -
- Corinne (7/5): It was worth the cost and a great location, but bring your earplugs and white noise - Close to beach and downtown, nice bathroom and kitchenette Walls are very thin, loud people right outside all night
- David (5/5): I would not recommend this stay. I understand the area is popular and it is peak season but the cost - Walking distance to beach and Main Street. There was an odor in the room. Kinda of damp/ sewage smell. The shower leaked all over the floor which led us to believe the water has seeped under the tiles and is damp. There is some mold between the tiles which also indicates dampness. Many other guests have brought the leaking showers to your attention. Not sure why this problem hasn’t been fixed!
- Regan (8/5): -
- Mary M (8/5): - No breakfast. Had kitchenette, made my own.
Walking distance to town and beach Beds were too tall for short people. But comfortable.
- Tracey (5/5): - Close to beach and clean room. Poor water pressure and badly laid out shower and tub. Waste of space and shower so small you cant really shower properly.
- Elba (5/5): Great location - Location. Everything that happened near the facility was heard. The structure of the building needs some upgrades. The floor was rather soft and it was felt throughout the unit.
- Ann (8/5): Other than a mouse being in my room, it was Ok. But because of the mouse, I did not sleep well. - It's a cute little room and close to the beach There was a mouse in my room.
- Asif (1/5): Very bad experience will never recommend to anyone - The location had no working microwave
Bathroom sink was not working ,it wasted 1 hour just for calling any help.
I had the worst experience ever had There is no office at the location, everything was against my expectations what I was told over the phone.after a big hastle I had to find another place as my family had already a big sock.
- Bernhard (9/5): -
- Steve (9/5): Very good - Quick and easy No eggs, sausage or bacon
- Laurel (6/5): - Clean, comfortable and decorated cute. Internet did not work entire stay. Coffee and soap not provided. Noise carried through thin walls.
- Daphne (8/5): Cute room but needs to be double checked that things have properly been cleaned/sanitized. - The room was really cute! The blanket was not clean, it had crumbs on it. I took it off to get it replaced and the underside had some questionable dried white stuff on it, even though I was assured that it was supposed to had been washed after the last guest. The only chair in the room was not clean either, the fabric had dried food or something stuck to it, along with stains. So the only place for my husband or I to sit was on the bed. There should be a small table and 2 metal chairs in the corner rather than a fabric chair, that way guests have a place to sit and enjoy their coffee/meal or just to play some cards.
The wifi was also off the whole time we were there, but thankfully we have great cell phone service and hot spot.
- Nick (4/5): To pretend the room was half price is completely misleading, does anybody check up on the misleading pricing info, I was - Was close to the beach and clean No staff! Lockbox entry, needed to kneel down with a light to pinch the code, tv required you to download a app which didn’t work so no tv
- Burley (1/5): - Dirty, nothing like the photo, cold, especially the bathroom. Took a long time for water to warm up. Not enough silverware for 4 people. 1 loveseat and a small table.
- Maranda (7/5): Our stay was perfect for a couple getting away for the weekend. - Outside and appearance is about a 4/10. Inside the room and location was a 7.5/10. We appreciated how close to was to the beach and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The outside was pretty rundown and parking was extremely tight!
- DeVault (5/5): I didn't find another hotel. - The tub was big and had jets. There was a big toenail on our comforter, something stuck to the TV that looked like someone sneezed on it, the next door neighbors were up until 1am and I could hear everything
- Deborah (10/5): Nice and Comfortable Accommodations - Two separate bedrooms were great for the family. We liked it all!
- Kameia (8/5): Stayed a one night not bad for the price - Clean The toilet was having issues.
- Tammy (2/5): Dirty, uncomfortable, childs playhouse. - Very hard to get ahold of this motel.
Old and dirty. Microwave, fridge, stove , coffee pot did not work. Had to call maintenance morning of check out just have coffee. There is no seating to watch the only tv in living area. One small child size love seat. Floor looked to have old dog piss around the love seat. Shower had black mold .
Nothing had been dusted in a long time.
No A/C ! Don’t waste your money here. Motel 6 is way better!
- Dianna (8/5): - I absolutely loved the jetted tub! THE CALM AND QUIET neighborhood...the nicely decorated house...ill be going back for sure!!
- Kenneth (6/5): -
- Stephan (7/5): -
- Catherine (9/5): This area was convenient for us during our travel & if we pass this 2nd again we would for sure stay here again. - Good location. Close to food & other shops. Beds were really comfortable & it was really clean.
- shaun (8/5): - If breakfast was included
- Ranae (7/5): Pleasant but not sure if I would stay again. They need to have someone on site at least during the check in window. - Clean and close to downtown No manager on site. No ice and no one to ask for anything . We were missing a shower mat so had to use hand towel. No extra of anything and no one to ask on site
- Dawn (9/5): - We would have like to have access to a regular coffee pot as we are morning coffee drinkers. There were K- cups but only 2 regular for our 2 night stay.
- jennifer (2/5): Horrible Traumatic Frightening Disapointing - The stay at the beachside Inn ruined my vacation and sent me home early. I got locked in the room. I couldn’t charge my phone because the outlet wasn’t working. I couldn’t use the TV and there was no instructions. I tried calling for help from the time that I checked in Which wasn’t done properly. Nobody ever called me back. There was no coffee maker that worked properly there was nobody on site. Nobody got back to me ever. I called the police and the police didn’t come. There was a man outside in the courtyard screaming and going through the trash acting crazy. This was a horrible traumatic event. I was scared and I did not sleep because I was afraid the entire time. I’ve opened a ticket withhotel.com to refund my trip..
- Dale (4/5): Costly little friend to visit - Where do i start. Cute and cozy. No bath mat. No closet to hang anything. The best was the friend that came to visit at night.🐁 left bread on the table. Grabbed a piece next morning. 2 corners eaten, with a chewed hole in the plastic bag. Came all 3 nights. Tried to call after hours. No answer. Delt with it. Checked out at the office, again , no answer. Had the evidence in hand. I didn't pay alot of money for 3 nights to have this happen. I'm not one to complain, but this took the bread.😔some compensation should of happened with this but i never heard a reply after reaching out to them, by email
- Jamie (3/5): Extremely disappointed. - We loved the location. It was close to the beach and everything downtown so we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The shower in the room was very nice. Seems like that was where they spent all their upgrade money for the room. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but we were very disappointed with this place. The price was definitely not worth it, and we will not be staying here again or recommending to friends. We noticed within minutes of entering the room that the floors were absolutely filthy. I called to complain and asked if someone could clean them again the following day. I was told they put a message in for housekeeping, but nobody ever came. There was a doorway, but no door or anything separating the two bedroom areas. One of the windows had no screen on it. There was a fan in the room, which was a nice touch as it was a humid weekend. However, the fan was also filthy and covered in dust, which set off my allergies and asthma. The dining chairs were very wobbly and felt like they were going to collapse every time we sat down or moved. The knobs to operate the stove were right at the front of the stove close to the counter edge, which our toddler could reach and operate. We had to remove the knobs during our stay. Also, the room had 2 queen beds, but only 3 dining chairs, and no other seating. The door locked automatically but had no internal lock or any sort of deadbolt/secondary lock, which was incredibly unsafe for our toddler who could just open the door on his own. Parking spots are apparently numbered per room number but need to be repainted. I could nitpick about all the chipped paint and scuff marks on the walls of the room as well, but that's not really a big deal. Just think maintenance or housekeeping needs to pay a little more attention to the small details and maybe change the water they clean the floors with between rooms if they are using a mop and bucket.
- Brian (2/5): - I booked a room at the hotel and got a confirmation email from both hotels.com and the property,
- Hardy (2/5): - Close to the beach Walls are thin, faucet leaked, shower leaked, neighbors were blaring their music
- JENNIFER (6/5): Nice overall, but not the best nights sleep. - The location is decent considering its walkability to the beach. There were multiple lights on items in the room that made it difficult to sleep and walls are extremely thin. The bed was ok. It was quite clean and I really appreciated the lock box so we did not have to take a key with us anywhere. Overall it was a nice space, but sleep was not had by our group.
- Tammy (4/5): - Wasn't anyone on the property. If you have an isssue, youre suppose to contact the sister property, which isn't even close, Says 1 block to beach, more like 5 or 6. No coffee pot, hair dryer didn't work, some one had a dog that barked, not suposse to have animals. Would NOT recommend!
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Great place to stay!
- Arnie (4/5): Not my first choice - Pros: the room was clean. There is a kitchenette. The bathroom is clean. Shower is good. Two separate bedrooms. Very close to the promenade. Very close to the beach. Only a few blocks from the main street where there are lots of restaurants and shops.Cons: although clean had a strong smell of deodorant from the cleaning solutions they use nearly got a headache from it. The Internet is substandard Incredibly slow, which makes it difficult to even read the news. Probably the worst Internet that I’ve experienced in a hotel. The bathroom was clean, but the bathroom sink did not drain, which was a bit gross. The main room had a small loveseat and three kitchen chairs to sit in, so not really comfortable to sit and relax read if it happens to be raining and you need to spend some time inside.
- Shannon (4/5): Needs a good cleaning - We had an ant problem in the bathroom and saw them on the floor. Only there one night so I didn’t complain I wouldn’t go back.
- Larry (8/5): - Entrance door was VERY squeaky. Just a little oil would fix it. Bathroom door was somewhat stuck. Just a little sanding would fix it. In unit #6.
- Larry (10/5): - The entrance door had squeaky hinges and the bathroom door was a bit sticky.
- TK (1/5): Ants - Nothing Ants in the room. Owner said it wasn't a big deal to have ants crawling out of the wall and electric socket, in the bed and in the bathroom.
- Min (7/5): Great location, but with a little hiccups - Location to the beach and clean tooms Lights and TV didn't work from the 2nd night. It was working the first night. Since we were at the Seaside Beach tournament for most of our time, and had friends to visit for dinner. It didn't impact too much. WIFI access was limited to a specific area in the #4 room
- Wells (10/5): -
- Robert (2/5): - Kitchen could have been better stocked, amenities such as coffee, kitchen essentials could have been better stocked. Additional towels and toilet paper would have been nice, grounds needed to be cleaner.
Location was great.
- Clabon (10/5): This property was quiet, close to beach and easy access to get to places in Seaside. The staff that I interacted with we - It was sorta isolated from the other properties… Big comfy bed and room, Large Kitchen with good size Living Room. I had to go get breakfast as I normally stay on properties where there’s a restaurant…
- Valerie (7/5): Seaside getaway - Location, comfy beds, unit was updated a few years ago. The small kitchen was also great . The price was good and we would stay here again. I think the complex needs a regular maintenance person. Although the unit was updated a few years ago it's showing signs of wear and tear. Our unit was missing a screen on one of the windows and a shelf was missing from the small refridge. The exterior could also use some sprucing up. There are weeds growing out of the gutters.
- Linde (5/5): Passable - I liked the location and set up of room I felt it was dirty and needed a deep clean especially bathroom and floors in kitchen, we also had to ask for clean sheets as there weren’t new ones when we arrived, but staff was helpful and apologetic.
- Katerina (4/5): - Would have been nice to know that this property has mice. Woke up to mice in the kitchen area in the middle of the night. There were a bunch of aunts in the kitchen. The floors were so dirty that after just one walk on the floor the socks and the feet were literally dark grey. Felt like the floors never get mopped there. Half the windows were not operative that’s on top of no air conditioner. There are holes under the entry door and on the side of the door, as well as on the floor in the entry doorway. So my guess is that’s where the mice come in from. Still crazy to me that this property rents with the current condition and mice. I never write bad reviews but this is the time where I can’t keep quiet about it. My family’s getaway was ruined and we did not enjoy our stay here. All though the beds were very comfortable. And sheets were clean.
- Regina (8/5): Very good -
- Peterson (8/5): Enjoyed how clean and close everything was. - Location and price. Bathroom fan was extremely loud and shower door let a lot of water run into the bathroom floor. The occupants in room 9 would take up two parking spots. We could hear them talking with tv on.
- Lydia (10/5): - It was a cute little room. Very quiet and cozy
- Edward (8/5): It was pleasant and convenient to town the outside presence dosen't do the place justice. - We had two units a cottage and a one bedroom. The cottage was good sized a well laid out. The unit was clean and a little dated that a lot of people wouldn't like. We thought it was quaint although dated very well kept. Krueg coffee maker was nice but if you were planning to do cooking it lacked most things just a few pots and pans and dishes for no more than a family of four.
- Michelle (10/5): - It was clean and quiet. I liked the jetted bathtub!
- Ruth (8/5): - I loved how quiet it was there. The rooms have been remodeled & updated for a cozy stay.
- Andrew (10/5): - It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. It felt like a little studio apartment. I’d book there again.
- Andres (9/5): Superb -
- Belinda (9/5): Superb - Beds, clean, cute historical 50s vibe The beach air can be hard on appliances
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vicky (10/5): - Great
- Reyna (8/5): Very good -
- Rod (8/5): - inside was really nice
- Mutchler (8/5): Very good - The decor was very nice. Good beds.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Great location!! I found it difficult not to have a place to put my suitcase, especially because I needed to leave all of my clothes in them. Having drawers or a closet would have been really nice.
- Marisol (8/5): - The dr in the bathroom didn't close properly.
The housekeeping could do a better job in cleaning the room it needs a deep cleaning. Not just a wope down.
Overall the kottach is roomy, beds were comfortable. It has everything tou need.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was fine. Just a bit dirty. But you can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors. And the office manager or maintenance guy or something was rude so that didn’t give the best start to the experience. The location is great but I’m very happy I had a deal for the room because I would have been a lot less happy if I had paid full price.
- Karen (6/5): -
- Morrison (7/5): Good - It was a cute little setup with everything needed. The walls are pretty thin—you can almost hear the neighbors’ entire conversation at what seemed like a regular tone.
- Warren (9/5): Superb -
- Brailynn (4/5): - Floor was rotting no toilet paper and the staff was not helpful with check in had to go to a locksmith to get a key to the door so it’s not contactless property
- Patricia (8/5): Very good - cute room. within walking distance to everything
- Carol (9/5): Lovely remodeled cottage room and bath. Very clean. Needs a place to put suitcase and hang clothes. - Very clean. New remodeled bathroom. No place to put suitcases. No place to hang clothes.
- Jimish (7/5): Good - Bed was comfortable and room was modern as indicated by other guest too Room was supposed to have sofa but it did not, did not have dark blinds in the room woke up at 5.30 am as soon as it was sunriseand did not get wifi password for the entire sta
Y
- Teresa (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comfortable Lack of privacy
- Liss (5/5): Passable - The location was good. The parking was so tight. There was no place to put clothes or hang anything, including wet towels. The TV in our room was bad. Normally we wouldn't watch it but there was a day where it poured rain and we were stuck inside. The TV made a loud buzzing noise so it was hard to hear the show. There was somebody's leftover food in our fridge when we arrived. We had to request towels as there were two for three adults for three days, but someone did respond immediately and brought us four more. That was the only time we saw a staff member
- Hylton (8/5): Very good -
- Dan (6/5): Pleasant - The location was good because it was close to the beach. The room wasn't ready at check in time. We had to wait an hour for our room to be ready.
- Klein (9/5): It was nice. - Quiet, close to the water. It was cute and nice. Literally no toilet paper. I didn't know til I checked out that you could call maintenance.
- Alan (6/5): My family's stay at the beach - I liked the price I didn't like the little ants coming in by the front door. And I didn't like the sound on the TV going out
- Marinette (8/5): - Had a jacuzzi tub in the room and really clean inside!
- Brigitte (10/5): - The place was amazing, clean, comfortable, quiet. Only a slight hiccup with checking in.
- Jeff (2/5): - Problems with aunts so we had to leave all our food in the car. Left a message for the owner but he never called back and the staff just wanted to take another message when we called back.
Do yourself a favor and go to a place with a REAL office/office staff and a place where you can keep your food inside.
- Angela (10/5): - Absolutely love our rooms here. So fresh and clean and had such a Peaceful stay tons of extras here in our room. Our sleep was so comfortable and very close to the beach. Definitely our favorite place to m as we beautiful memories a home away from home.
- Kellee (7/5): Good - Just what we needed for the holiday weekend.
- Ordway (8/5): Excellent family rental! - Very clean, very comfortable and great location! So nice to have two bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. So nice to have TV, The heaters worked great. And we loved having a fireplace. Over all we loved it and we will definitely be back. I ordered extra pillows and received a confirmation and they were not in the room. We only had 3 towels for 3 people for 3 days and the sister company was nice enough to send some more over on day 2. As well as shampoo and conditioner. The ballast in bathroom light was making a terrible sound. and Only seating for one in front of fireplace and TV. But we used camping chairs and made it work. No light in one bedroom. Bathroom has no screen so creatures were crawling in.
- Anthony (10/5): - Everything about my stay was great! Except for there were a few ants found in the kitchen area.
- Korie (10/5): - Very cute property. The rooms are definitely nicer than what you expect from exterior.
- Elsbeth (7/5): Simple, convenient, quiet and comfortable accommodations! - The room was basically a little house, very spacious. Had everything needed. Short walk to Convention Center, Broadway St. and the beach. The carpeting had an odd odor (fixed it with some Fabreeze spay). The internet connection to the tv was slow and unstable, made it difficult for streaming (which is the only option).
- Alicia (8/5): Very good -
- Peighton (10/5): this day was really nice and exactly what we needed - it was a very cozy property and felt very at home The parking was kind of tight
- Rosemary (2/5): - I feel that they have poor customer service. They don’t make it easy for people to get into there rooms. The key bob is a pain to get open. The TV has no reference to use it.
- Dana (10/5): - The property was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated. We stayed in the two cottages and they were both lovely had jacuzzi tubs. Excellent location.
- Ivan (4/5): Disappointing - The fact that the stay was 1 block from our work site . Way too many ants all over the unit on the walls countertops ceilings you name it they were all over , we couldn't eat dinner piecefully plus front door has a big gap under the door letting cold air in and probably the ants too , we asked for extra towels and no one delivered.
- Carlson (9/5): Superb -
- Bighair (10/5): Exceptional -
