• Karen (9/5): Made was great, the breakfast had lots of options and a small but yummy menu - I liked the traditional bungalow style and the lovely pool. The gardens were beautiful and staff were super nice. When the air con didn’t work well they replaced it for us with a new one. We felt at home here and welcomed. It’s close to all the shops so you can walk or get a scooter.. There was some construction noise from nearby but it’s everywhere u go now

• Ro (9/5): I had very good time here! - This is unique place right in the heart of Canggu near the beach. Thanks for the stuff, they were really kind to me. The bungalows have amazing and relaxing atmosphere. Great swiming pool, big choice of breakfasts, everything for very reasonable money. Guests are advised to bring headphones or earplugs, as the wooden bungalows are not very soundproofed. Therefore, you will hear excessive noise from motorcycles from the road.

O café da manhã achei pouco, mas se quiser consegue complementar pagando um extra. A partir de determinada hora o resturante do hotel não funciona para alimentação. Os táxis tem dificuldade de chegar no local porque entra em uma ruazinha, e eles não querem entrar normalmente.

• Lisa Marie (8/5): Relaxed verblijf in het drukke Canggu - De locatie is top, in een zijstraat waardoor je niet de drukte van de hoofdstraat merkt. Vanaf hier loop je naar de hoofdstraat en het strand. De bungalows liggen een beetje rondom het zwembad dus dat ziet er wel cute uit. Het personeel is lief en spreken goed Engels. Ontbijt heeft genoeg keuze. In de kamer is een koelkastje en het is leuk dat de badkamer buiten is. Het is een schattig houten hutje maar hierdoor houdt het de koelte van de airco niet goed vast en was het soms alsnog best warm in de kamer. Er zouden ook wat meer bedjes bij het zwembad kunnen, want dat zijn er maar enkele tov hoeveel gasten die er kunnen liggen.

• Roberta (9/5): Super gemütlich!! Wir kommen wieder. - Die Unterkunft ist sehr süß, gepflegt und gemütlich. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist sehr sehr lecker und man hat sehr viel Auswahl. Es war echt super sauber und gepflegt. Aber das Bad in der Villa ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der WC-Bereich war nicht super hygienisch und der Duschbereich war sehr stark verkalkt. Ich würde empfehlen Kalkreiniger zu benutzen und den WC-Bereich etwas aufzuhübchen.

• Maria Louise (9/5): Leuke bungalows - De faciliteiten zijn top, bungalows zitten dicht op elkaar maar voelt toch privé. Het ontbijt heeft ruime keuze en is lekker. Je kunt daarnaast altijd koud drinken vragen. En het is een mooi zwembad. Locatie erg fijn. Er is lunch kaart, maar er was geen middag kok op het moment van ons verblijf. Helaas geen lunch.

The outdoor bathroom was also really nice. The staff was exceptional, Gusti welcomed us when we arrived and he was very very kind to us during our whole stay. The pool area was beautiful and the drinks and snacks that they serve there all day were really good too!

I had this secada chirping on my roof all night for both nights and it was so loud it felt like it was next to my head on the other pillow. It drove me crazy to the point I used wet tissue paper in my ears to block it out. This isn't the hotels fault of course. But, please be aware your bungalow is out in the woods so you hear everything.

Air-conditioning downstairs wasn't as cold as we would have hoped, but if the bungalow was closed up completely for a few hours it was cool to walk into. Room could use a kettle/coffee station. Really minor stuff above, there wasnt anything not to like, it was beautiful.

• richard (8/5): Good location in Canggu , just off the main street - The Bungalows were great had a wonderful Balinese vibe, the staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble , the price was good value for money. Breakfast was included with a few choices. We enjoyed our stay. Bungalow #1 was very noisy in the mornings as it was located next to the breakfast area, and the chairs being moved was annoying. The Bungalows are now 13 years old and are starting to show their age. We would not stay in Canggu again, but that is not the fault of the accommodation.

• Piotr (9/5): - Budżetowe bungalow w dobrej lokalizacji w Changgu, 14 minut wolnym spacerem do plaży przy której uprawialiśmy surfing. W bungalow wszystko co potrzebne - wygodne łóżko, moskitiera, szafa, klima, lodówka, łazienka częściowo pod chmurką, zadaszony taras ze stolikiem i krzesłami. Nie było głośno od ulicy. Obok wygodny basen i leżaki pod parasolami. W cenie smaczne śniadanie do wyboru. Uprzejmy personel. Pomagali z organizacją transportu do kolejnej lokalizacji na ostatnią chwilę oraz elastycznie podeszli do śniadania gdy potrzebowaliśmy wyjść z hotelu o 7 rano (śniadanie od 7, ale dostaliśmy smaczne kanapki na wynos). Obok przy głównej ulicy wszystko co potrzebne - masaże, sklepy, bary i restauracje.

• Theodora Magdalena (9/5): Groene en rustige oase centraal in Canggu - Prachtige locatie, mooie bungalows. Houten huisjes in een oase met heel veel planten en bomen, gegroepeerd om het zwembad. De badkamer, overdekt maar buiten met de planten: apart en een belevenis. Kleinschalig en zeer aardig personeel. Niets dat niet beviel. Je moet er rekening mee houden dat er dieren zijn: vogels, rupsen en gecko’s

Очень удобная кровать. В домике все продумано и удобно. Чисто. Красивая территория. Отличные завтраки, разнообразные. Все вкусно. На территории отеля ресторан с очень хорошими ценами. Люди работающие в отеле очень приветливые. 10 из 10. Чангу шумный город, если вы живёте в близи основных улиц, купите беруши. Отель находится на удалении, но шум с трассы и от клубов все равно отдалённо слышно. В остальном идеальный вариант для разумного бюджета. Рекомендую.

• Iwona (7/5): Good value in Canggu for short stay - We stayed at The Calm Tree Bungalows for 2 nights as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). The location is great — very close to shops and restaurants, so it’s convenient for exploring the area. The pool was lovely with warm water, which we all enjoyed. Breakfast was just okay — nothing special but fine for a short stay. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cleaning service was decent as well. Overall, it’s a good place for a short stay if you value location and friendly service, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer holiday due to the dark interior and limited natural light. The interior of the bungalow was quite dark. There are no real windows, just shutters, so you have to choose between keeping them open (and letting mosquitoes in) or closing them and having very little light. For a couple of nights it was manageable, but for a longer stay it would feel too gloomy. Upstairs had two single beds for the kids, but our girls didn’t feel comfortable sleeping up there because it was so dark, so we all ended up sleeping downstairs. The toilet was okay — nothing to complain about.

The pool is very nice, and it’s better to use it from the first day. The room was good and a little rustic, which was fine for us.
