• KRZYSZTOF (10/5): just GREAT!!!!!! - Primo: The capital of wine in Italy is Barolo in Piedmont, not Chianti in Tuscany. Secundo: the first agriturismo accomodation in Barolo was introduced by Raffaella in a lovely place - Agriturismo Il Gioco dell'Oca. Tertio: in Agriturismo Il Gioco dell'Oca you can stay in comfortable conditions and feel like in old typical farm, surrounded by lush green garden in which there is plenty of place to sit, read a book, sip some wine or enjoy a bath. Quarto: check-in time is from 12.00 !!! More: The food served for breakfast was extremely tasty with superb home-made cakes baked by Raffaella who additionally takes all efforts to make you feel like at home. The name of this agroturismo - Il Gioco dell'Oca - refers to old XV century italian board game "The Game of the Goose" which resembles circle of life. The figures of geese can be found all over the farm. Just lovely! Staying here for 4 days was perfect time of our life. Absolutely recommend this place!!!

Raffaella is an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and always helpful, making you feel at home from the very first moment. The agriturismo is beautifully decorated with great taste and surrounded by a lovely, well-kept garden. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of delicious local products — the homemade orange marmalade and cakes were simply unforgettable. Great place that we highly recommend!

• Ines (10/5): Posto incantevole e accogliente - Posto davvero incantevole e tenuto benissimo. Giardino stupendo davanti alle camere. Colazione abbondante, quasi tutto preparato in casa e buonissimo. Posizione comodissima, vicino Monforte, Barolo e La Morra. Inoltre e' possibile godere del loro buonissimo apertitivo durante la giornata. Accoglienza davvero perfetta e proprietaria simpaticissima. Se dovessi tornare a visitare quei posti non avrei dubbi su cosa scegliere per pernottare.

Raffaella (la proprietaria) si è dimostrata una persona gentilissima, simpatica e super accogliente, nonché produttrice di uno dei Barolo più buoni che abbiamo assaggiato. Colazione sia dolce che salata veramente ottima e ricca. Una speciale menzione anche all’attenzione e all’accoglienza ricevuta anche dai nostri due cagnoloni. Se torneremo in zona, sicuramente alloggeremo di nuovo qui! Niente

The facility was clean, quiet and very quaint which made for a very relaxing experience. Breakfast was excellent! Cozy dining area with fireplace burning low in the cooler mornings and on warmer mornings there were various beautiful areas to sit outdoors. Location was perfect for exploring the various wine in the Piedmont Region . We will be back!

• Kaori (9/5): - 家族、友人と2泊しました。ホストのraffaellaさんはとれも親切でフレンドリーでした。到着時にリクエストと違う部屋が用意されていましたが、直ぐに正しい部屋を整えてくれました。お部屋は居心地がよく、夕方には食堂のテーブルを使わせてもらい、スーパーマーケットで買ってきた地元の食材で楽しく夕食をとれました。朝食は庭で手作りのケーキやジャム、ヨーグルト、たっぷりのコーヒーを頂き、とても美味しかったです。2日目のディナーはうさぎが食べたいと伝えるとバローロ市内の素敵なピエモンテ料理のレストランを予約してくださいました。ジビエが素晴らしく美味しかったです。出発当日の朝は特別に7時に朝食を用意してくださり、とても助かりました。とても楽しい滞在でした。ありがとうございました。 道路が近く、車の音が少しうるさかったです。

Frukosten var utmärkt. Lite smutsigt i duschen och lite nära till bägarna annars inget att anmärka på. Rekommenderar starkt detta boende till de som ömskar besöka Barolo och La Morra

• Rolf Hans (10/5): Wunderbar, ein Gedicht! - Sehr netter Empfang durch die Hausherrin; da schlug mein Herz gleich schneller! Mir wurde trotz meiner Verspätung im Garten noch ein schmackhafter Imbiss serviert und dazu den hauseigenen Barolo Cannubi 2020, ein Gedicht! Beim Frühstück im Garten wurde ich von einem tollen Team und Raffaella persönlich bedient. Das Zimmer war grosszügig ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen und mich wohl gefühlt!

• Crystal (7/5): Rustic italian country side room... both charming and somewhat lacking in utilities. - Location was fantastic. A quick drive (5 min to La Morra, 10 to Alba, and 15 to Barbaresco). Raffaella was welcoming, so helpful, and was able to make reservations for our dinner. The property was adorable and had so much Italian country side charm. Room is spacious. Breakfast was also great. Unfortunately, the bedding seemed like someone had previously slept in it. There was hair and oil spots that could have been from laundry being mixed in, and that was very disappointing. Raffaella helped us change it immediately. The shower room was stinky. There are unfortunately a lot of mosquitos from their on site rain barrels.

• Orna (9/5): Agriturismo II Gioco Dell Oca is simply magical. - The breakfast was good and varied. The settelment is located in the Truffle mushroom rejion of Italy. The only thing that made me an happy was the too short stay in area.Next time we will arrive for longer stay.

If you want to go to town for dinner, please consider 30 minutes walking or you might have to drive there. Bring your lights if you want to walk/ride at night.

• Giulio (10/5): I came back there knowing the property which I had originally found by chance. - The person of the owner and the property itself combine in a unique hospitality experience, only matched by the warm, freindly reception offered by a bernaise mountain dog called Spritz. I love going back and I coudl not have entertained my guests better if I had had my own home in Barolo. Nothing at all.

Their hospitality made our stay incredibly pleasant and memorable. A special mention goes to Spritz, the adorable dog, who was such a delightful surprise and added an extra charm to our experience. The property itself has a lovely atmosphere, and I only wish we had more time to enjoy it—especially the patio, which looked like the perfect spot to relax. I would absolutely come back just to soak in more of what this place has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and personal touch during their travels!

Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was really good with plenty of options offered. We wished we could stay many more nights and would not hesitate to stay a week in this friendly and cosy hotel.

• Rodney (10/5): A beautiful stay in Barolo - Beautiful Agriturismo establishment run by wonderful Raffaella, who immediately made us welcome upon arrival with tea and a delicious tart. She was so welcoming,enthusiastic, helpful and kind! The room was clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting Barolo, less than 2 kilometres away. The place was more beautiful than the photos I’ve seen of it. I’d love to go back there soon! There was nothing to not like!

I especially admired all the vintage decorations throughout this large and beautifully restored farm home. The hostess was so very nice and a delight to talk with!!! The location was perfect for visiting the main Barolo/Barbaresco vineyards and interesting hill top villages/towns. The breakfasts taken in the garden were delicious offering a good selection of produce.
