- Carlos (2/5): DO NOT BOOK HERE - This must be the worst experience I've had booking a hotel (which is actually not a hotel but apartments). I was under the impression that this was in the address marked on the map but when I arrived I noticed that the address on the map was an office address and not the actual "hotel". Apparently they have apartments all over the city. I needed a hotel near the train station had booked something supposedly close enough and they ended up giving me something 30 minutes away by car. We agreed to meet someone there to give us the key at a certain time but after over an hour no one showed up and we were standing in the street all this time with our luggage. We called several times and no one answered. Therefore, we were forced to make other hotel arrangements and spend unnecessary additional cost. After 2 hours we got a call back and after explaining what happened we mentioned we had checked in to another hotel since no one showed up or answered our call. We asked for a refund after this terrible experience and they refused to give us our money back. Terrible service!!!!! We also asked Hotels.com to help us with this situation and they did not help us either. This "hotel" kept our full payment even thought we did not stay there and it was their fault. I do not understand why this "hotel" is still available to book in hotels.com after so many other people had similar experiences. Worst experience ever.
- Verified traveler (8/5): COMFORTABLE STUDIO, GREAT LOCATION, humidity smell - Asser, who let me in was very helpful and very accommodating. Fell at home, His girlfriend was also very kind as to lend me her own Iphone electricity adaptor, which was a life saver. The room was very well kept, but the bulbs on a lamp did not work, but was not a problem. Besides from a smell of humidity which I had to get used to, the room was very comfortable and spectacularly located, lots of cafes, gelato parlors, restaurants and bars, lots of fun...Minutes away from restaurant and bar area and on the other direction, the Duomo. I will definitely go again but the humidity and smell has to be fixed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): An apartment not close to city centre. - Arrived at an apartment complex rented by suites low cost Not San Babila suites nor anywhere close to the Piazza San Babila. 20 minutes from city centre. Lot of hidden costs . In front of Porta Ticinese which is an outdoor hangout at night and noisy every night till 3, 4 in the morning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Milan apartment - The apartment I had originally booked was unavailable and lowcostsuite contacted me to offer 2 alternatives. I choose via Copernico in Milan which was just a couple of minutes walk from central station. It was very convenient and a lovely apartment which appeared to be recently renovated, very friendly staff. I would recommend to anybody looking for an apartment in central milan.
- Verified traveler (2/5): STAY AWAY!!!!! - Awful - misleading advert, extremely high charges for cleaning that were not clear on booking. All communication written in Italian when I don't speak Italian. Given wrong address for hotel, made to pay a ridiculous deposit that caused me problems by blocking out most of the funds on my credit card. BE WARNED STAY AWAY. Strange men "checking" me into hotel demanding to write my credit card details down on a piece of paper, something I am fairly sure is illegal.
