• Quinn (9/5): Classic pub feel for the area. - It’s right in town. The parking is in the back. It’s a big space and they have a lot of area of the building. Staff was friendly. It had an old time charm that was lovely. Great town with the castle. We didn’t get breakfast as I didn’t book it apparently.

Location was important and this was perfect, in walking distance but not in the heart of noise of the town. Ample breakfast. MANY up and down steps to our room. A bit difficult with luggage but we coped.

• Hans (9/5): Prima hotel, goede faciliteiten, lekker in de omgeving. - Locatie is precies goed, alles op loopafastand. Het is even zoeken waar je moet zijn de eerste x vanaf de parkeerplaats, maar daarna weet je dat omlopen het snelst is. De ingang van de parkeerplaats is op het eerste gezicht klein (die wordt aangegeven) maar je kunt ook achterom komen en dat is fijner rijden. De bus was nét klein genoem om comfortabel in te rijden.
• vikingsfire (8/5): Wir kommen wieder ! - Die Hotelbar war sehr schön mit guter Live Musik und das Zimmer war ok, wir hatten 2 Betten was besser war, da das Doppelbett sehr klein war , Badezimmer war schön , nur leider Badewanne mit Duschvorhang , es gab einen kostenlosen großen Parkplatz im Freien hinter dem Hotel , Frühstück war sehr gut , Lage mitten in der Stadt

• Rachel (5/5): - I slept well. I went down to breakfast- I had not pre paid as was unsure of my leaving time. When I went to breakfast - it was not a good experience. The man at the desk wanted me to decide my breakfast and pay for it before I even sat down. As s 53 year old woman I told him that in all my years going to hoetels and in many countries- I had never in my life been asked to pick my order before I had even sat down. Especially breakfast when you are barely awake and just want a relaxing meal. He went on to lecture me on amount of guests and how busy they were(I know all about hard work but when I go to a hotel as a guest the workload is not my problem)

• Vadym (7/5): All inclusive ) - Дуже вдала ідея - зупинитися тут під час подорожі. Оптимальна за тутешніми мірками ціна, власна безкоштовна парковка, непоганий паб, до центру - пару хвилин. Ірландський сніданок - чудовий. Іншими словами, відчуття, що все включено: і їжа, і відпочинок. Номер розрахований на трьох чи навіть чотирьох. Тому почувався якось дивно.

I really liked that they gave you a call about a week before just to touch base and find out when you're planning to check in. You can get to pretty much anywhere in Kilkenny on foot from the hotel so it's a great location. The room was a little warm even with the windows open, and then you could hear all the street noise and pub revellers. We always pack earplugs anyway.

• Pal (10/5): - The Kilford Arms is perfectly located, close to every sightseeing, and however on its ground floor is an extensive pub, you didn't hear a thing in the rooms. My room was comfortable, with all amenities, and the staff was great.

• Helen (7/5): Kilkenny is a wonderful place to explore! - Very friendly reception. We loved the location - easy walking distance to everything we wanted to visit - easy parking. Comparative to our other hotels we stayed in on this trip, this was the most expensive and least satisfactory. The rooms were not so comfortable and bathrooms old fashioned. Breakfast was disorganised (staff were friendly and helpful) and the breakfast buffet could do with a rethink.

Although the menu did not specifically include a vegetarian breakfast, we were told we could basically order what we liked. The "single" rooms were actually normal rooms, large and comfortable. The hotel is well located for visiting the city centre, the sights, and shopping. Greater choice of vegetarian/vegan dishes on the dinner menu. The bedrooms were rather warm, with no means of cooling down other than opening windows. This meant that the noises from the street could be heard, and Kilkenny seems to be a very lively (and enjoyable) party city.

• GrandTour65132514344 (10/5): Best steak and pepper sauce! - We had the sirloin steak and the grilled steak, both served with a fresh salad, onions, mushrooms, and honestly the best pepper sauce I’ve ever tasted. The meat was incredibly flavorful and juicy—absolutely cooked to perfection. Even though I ordered my steak well done, it was still unbelievably tender and soft. On top of that, the staff were always smiling and in great humour, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A truly fantastic experience from start to finish!
