• Saleh (6/5): - The hotel’s location is excellent. This was my fourth visit over the past 7 years, and it is clear that the management has changed for the worse. The windows do not provide proper blackout from sunlight. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was poor. I arrived around 9 PM, and after checking into the room, I found hair on the bed sheets. When I requested a replacement, I was told that housekeeping operates only during the daytime and no staff were available at night. The hotel is far below expectations in terms of cleanliness and overall condition. It feels worn out, with no noticeable updates or proper maintenance. Although the hotel is not cheap, it still has all of these negative issues. Despite my emotional attachment to the hotel because of the memories I have there, I will not be returning again.

• Cem (7/5): Für 3 Nächte ganz okay. - Die Lage ist der perfekt. Man kann die Stadt zu Fuss erkundigen und vor dem Hotel ist auch eine Tramstation. Personal leider sehr unfreundlich (die Leute an der Rezeption). Und Zimmer wurde nicht sauber gemacht, obwohl wir erst gegen 17:00 Uhr wieder zurück im Zimmer waren.

Όταν ζητήσαμε να μας το καθαρίσουν μας είπαν ότι το room service δεν ήταν διαθέσιμο εκείνη τη στιγμή και ήρθε ο ρεσεψιονίστ και το πήρε απλά με μία χαρτοπετσέτα. Τελικά μας το καθάρισαν την επόμενη ημέρα.

• Kübra (7/5): Die Lage und die Zimmer sind super. - Die Lage ist echt super, man ist direkt an der Haltestelle Karaköy. Sefa Bey vom Empfang hat uns ein sehr familiäres Gefühl vermittelt. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Toilette, die am Frühstück Saal ist, war komplett dreckig. Wahrscheinlich liegt dort im stehen uriniert und nicht desinfiziert. Habe es auch dem Personal gemeldet.

Vue sur le Bosphore, Ayasofya, Sultanahmet... Personnel à l'écoute. Petit-déjeuner complet avec vue sur le Bosphore depuis le toit terrasse. Chauffage excellent. Et un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel. Axe de passage stratégique au pied du pont de Galata générant beaucoup de bruit. Chambre située au premier étage. Je ne sais pas ce que ça donne sur les étages supérieurs. Je ne suis parvenu à m'endormir correctement qu'au bout de la 5ème nuit sur les 9. Fenêtres à changer pour favoriser l'isolation sonore? Chambre très correcte, qui peut mériter un rafraîchissement.
• Hanife (9/5): Prima verblijf voor de 3 nachten die wij hadden. - De locatie van het hotel was echt heel fijn! Dichtbij de tramhalte van Karakoy en de Tunel tram! Op loopafstand naar vele bezienswaardigheden! Het ontbijt was minder, maar voor de prijs die wij hebben betaald was het een oké. Helaas hoor je wel veel verkeer van buiten, maja wij kwamen op de kamer alleen om te slapen en om snel om te kleden.

• Akhmadkhon (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay! The location is perfect — just a short walk (about 50 meters) from the ferry to Karaköy, which made it super easy to get around the city. We arrived from the airport by metro to Kadıköy and then took the ferry straight here — very convenient! The staff were incredibly kind, always smiling, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Istanbul!
• Lynda (8/5): - The breakfast was good, but they ran out of the cold cuts and wasn’t replenished even though we were there by 9 and they were open till 11:30!! When we asked they said no more. Location was excellent. Tram was across the street. Walking distance to the Spice Bazaar and the ferry terminal. Lots of eateries close by. Bonus was having the money exchange place next door with a decent rate. Had issues with the door and made the first night very unpleasant as it was late and we were tired. The front desk didn’t speak much English so communication was difficult. They did upgrade me the next day and I ended up with a big room with an amazing view of the Bosphorous, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. In the end my stay was pleasant.

• Elisabeth (1/5): Unsafe, filthy, we had to move hotels within hours - Booking.com still hasn’t refunded us. - Absolutely nothing. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I am shocked that Booking.com still lists this property. Unsafe and aggressive staff: On arrival, the porter took our passports and pretended to “forget” to return them. The staff were intimidating and aggressive throughout our stay. I felt unsafe the entire time. Filthy and broken rooms: Hairs in the bed, broken furniture, peeling wallpaper, doors that didn’t close, and a bathroom door that could not shut. The “upgrade” they offered was worse than the first room — dirty, smelled of smoke, and unacceptable. Facilities didn’t work: Wi-Fi didn’t function, the bed was broken, and nothing was properly maintained. Breakfast unacceptable: Old food, stale coffee from a broken machine, served in paper cups. Nothing resembled what was advertised. No management support: No manager was available to resolve issues. Staff were rude and dismissive. The conditions were so bad that after only a few hours we had no choice but to move to another hotel — which more than doubled our travel expenses. Despite raising this with Booking.com, they have still not refunded us or taken accountability, dismissing everything as mere “inconvenience.” This was not inconvenience — it was unsafe, unhygienic, and dishonest. Do not book this hotel. And know that Booking.com will not protect or refund you when things go wrong.

There is a lift we could use to access the room and a walk in shower with a small ledge. As there were a few steps to the breakfast at the roof top resteraunt, the staff allowed me to take food down to my wife. Just the difficult to access the resteraunt for people in a wheel chair.

Рядом находится трамвайная остановка, стоянка прогулочных пароходиков и яхт, множество различных точек питания от ресторанов до маленьких уютных кафешек с вкусной едой и приятными ценами. Сам отель на наш взгляд, является предприятием высокой культуры туристического бизнеса. Здесь все в образцовом порядке от чистоты в помещениях до обслуживания клиентов. Мы проживали в номере люкс на втором этаже. Редко можно встретить номер с шестиметровыми потолками, камином и шикарным видом из окна на Босфор. Кроме того, номер был полностью укомплектован всем необходимым для комфортного пребывания. Все перечислять нет смысла, можно отметить лишь то чего во многих отелях нет . Это отопление, в виде батарей, кофеварка с капсулами кофе, большая душевая кабина, холодильник, большой сейф и много шкафов, для одежды и вещей. Кровать очень комфортная для отдыха с хорошим удобным матрасом и подушками. Хочется отметить завтраки на последнем этаже с красивым видом на город, ассортимент которых был достаточно разнообразным. Служба обслуживания номеров работала четко и качественно. Не понравиться в отеле может только постоянный шум оживленной улицы, который не утихает ни днем, ни ночью, но тут ничего не поделаешь, издержки хорошего расположения отеля.
