The room was also nice and clean. The bed was very hard and very uncomfortable …. My husband and I both hardly got any sleep…
The refrigerator’s freezer is non existent….

- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Veteranpatriot1972 (9/5): A Lil Home Away From Home - Attendant gave me a late checkout at fair price. I really appreciated that. No comment.
- Deanna (8/5): Very good - The mattress was very lumpy
- Strouse (10/5): Very quaint and peaceful. The owner was SO accommodating and sweet! Such a delight to stay here with such attentive cari - Lighted area outside and very open. Nothing
- Gregory (8/5): - It was a nice quiet place to stay. Ice machine did not work but they helped us at the front desk. Furnishings are a bit dated but fine.
- Kristen (10/5): A nice place to stay, quiet and comfortable. - Friendly staff. We stayed 3 nights. Each day, while we were out, the room was freshened and supplied with clean towels. Quiet and comfortable.
- Jonette (10/5): - So clean and friendly
- Hanks (5/5): Would have been better with a good night's sleep. - Pretty facility and close to my location. Room 121 had a bed as hard as stone. The room was rather small for the price.
- Alejandro (9/5): Superb - Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Away from the busy main road. Flowers were beautiful and I loved the rotating sign. I will be back again.
- Lea (10/5): Outstanding! - Room was updated. Beds comfy. Shower very good! Laundry was great. Ice plentiful. Great location. Lots of flowers around property! Very nice touch. No out door patio area.
- Sherry (3/5): Too expensive with no amenities - No breakfast available Bed was uncomfortable
- Leslie (8/5): - Room was clean and well equipped, but beds were too hard. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- Mary (10/5): Loved this quaint little place. - What a sweet little place and nice little town. The flowers were beautiful and it was immaculate! Such a friendly owner and no complaints at all. The ac fan did make a noise when shutting off.
- Melissa (10/5): - Owners were super helpful and we found a couple local restaurants that had a little bit of a wait but definitely worth it. We knew when we saw so many locals that it would be a great experience.
- Melissa (10/5): - Quaint little town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place - Nice place for short stay
- Jerry (10/5): - Great place, very clean and comfortable.
- Barbara (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (8/5): - I don’t think the floor in our room was mopped.
Not sure why with the long bank of rooms the 4 rooms of guests the hotel had, all guests stayed
All next door to each other
- Cameron (9/5): Superb - Perfect stay for the weekend while visiting Lewis Creek Park. Nothing super fancy just a very comfortable stay in a small town. Would definitely stay here again!
- Ginger (8/5): - Kind front desk clerk and beautiful property! Love fresh coat of paint and cleanliness. Unfortunately our AC struggled to cool the room on a mid 80 day until about 3am. The water pressure in the bathroom only existed if water was turned on extremely hot. Good for a cold day yet not when your room is feeling like a sauna.
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - Clean convenience
- MARCIA (10/5): - We ended up staying here because the motel where we'd been was totally booked and we needed somewhere else to go for one night due to events in Eugene. It turned out to be a great choice. The lady at the desk was friendly and informative, we could park right by our room, and the room was comfortable (most comfortable bed I'd slept on in several weeks of traveling!). It's nothing fancy but it's rather charming and we were happy to stay here. It even had good water pressure! The drive from Springfield to Sweet Home was absolutely GORGEOUS, so that was an added, if not quite related, benefit.
- Rebecca (8/5): - The property is clean, for an older motel. The mattress was awful lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. The place was very clean otherwise. And overpriced at 197.00 a night in a small town for what you got
- Scott (5/5): Passable -
- Terry (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and nice. Friendly staff
- Wimpee (8/5): Very good - no breakfast, but that's ok, the place was very pricy for what it was. But it was the only decent place in such a small town. They had newer building we were in the older part of the building. The neighbor's woke us up early we could hear them doing everything including how upset the man was about what? I do not know. Even though the walls were brick we could hear everything. I wish they had put the 3 different customers far away from each other. We woke them up early the day we left, I'm sure that bothered them next door. Otherwise the place was decent, but too much money. Nearly $400 for 2 nights
- Vicki (10/5): I am always welcomed and I feel at home. - Clean and quiet . Also felt safe due to layout of parking lot and lighting.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Was excellent
- Saboe (8/5): Very good -
- Kasie (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (8/5): Quiet and clean - We were very happy with the Sweet Home Inn. The service was wonderful, very helpful, and the room was exceptionally clean. Bright white towels, sheets, shower curtain. The room was very quiet. My husband noted that when we arrived there were not many cars, but when we got up early to leave the parking lot was full, but we hadn't heard anyone coming and going throughout the night. The room is a bit dated, but it has a nice refrigerator and coffee machine. And, the carpets are fairly new and very clean. We'd definitely stay here again.
- VALERIE (10/5): - Its quiet
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (9/5): Comfortable, clean, met expectations. -
- Rhonda (7/5): Sweet Home Inn - Staff really friendly, perfect location, nice flowers, room was cheery, clean and fairly spacious. Lots of cushy pillows. They provided a continental breakfast but I didn't partake. (Not sure breakfast was listed on the website) It was also quiet; I didn't hear any outside noises or late arrivers. The only negative was the room smell when I first walked in. Not sure if it used to be a "smoking allowed" room; I couldn't say what it smelled like. It just wasn't a " fresh" smelling room. I got used to it, though.
- Carl (8/5): - Could have had smaller bed for our needs.
- Gregory (10/5): - Clean and quiet.
- Roger (5/5): Our stay was very pleasant loved the staff, but the beds were old and in very bad shape.. - The staff is amazing and always clean towels… The beds were horrible stained and very uncomfortable…
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Super clean, well maintained. Bed hard as a rock. Expensive for what you get compared to other places in town.
- Linda (7/5): Good -
- Alexia (8/5): Very good - easy access to everything in town there wasn't anything in particular I "didn't like," it's just an older motel.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - It is a little older but very clean
- Steven (7/5): comfortable - location all good
- Windy (9/5): Superb - Needs a pool
- Gretchen (8/5): - Beautiful room. Great service
- Vitelli (6/5): Pleasant -
- Wymetalek (5/5): Passable - Best place to stay in town....really expensive for the little value. It cost alot for what we got.
- Michellendaisey (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean
- Brett (8/5): Very good -
- TJ (4/5): - Way over priced, only motel in town and they know it $180 for one night. WOW
- Cathleen (10/5): - Spacious rooms, pet-friendly with LVP floors, well-kept premises. Very friendly staff and easy check in and out.
- Antonina (10/5): - Wonderful stay!!! Clean, comfortable, quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff
- Ritchie (10/5): Skip from Scottsdale, Arizona - Clean, and safe with easy access to downtown Sweet Home.
- Vicki (10/5): I am a competitive triathlete and I come each year for a big race along with weekends of training. - Everything. I stay here each time I am in the area. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, the owners/staff are extremely friendly and make me feel welcome. Nothing…. It’s why I keep coming back.
- Heather (5/5): Passable - The power was out in the town of Sweet Home so we had no power in our rooms, including air conditioning when it was 90 degrees outside. I know that is beyond the hotel's control but it would have been nice to be offered a discounted rate since we didn't get what we paid for.
- Connie (9/5): Good - It was to expensive
- Mark (10/5): Very pleasant overnight stay. Friendly front desk person. - Clean, friendly atmosphere. Each room had its own unique decor
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Shaylee (9/5): Superb - The front desk was very kind and helpful and our room was very clean.
- Don (10/5): We had an excellent stay at the Sweet Home Inn. - We did not have breakfast at the motel because we met with friends for breakfast.
- Susan (5/5): Passable -
- Shawn (8/5): Very good - quiet
- Stephanie (8/5): - I arrived early and the staff allowed me to check in. Helpful and kind.
- Laurie (10/5): - Staff was very friendly & the room was very clean. This was the perfect spot to stay as we had a wedding to attend & it was only like 7 miles from the venue.
- John (8/5): - A pleasant place to stay. We didn't stay in the area much, since we were in Eugene during the day for the World Athletics Championships.
- Kathy (8/5): Nice stay at Sweet Home - As I had mentioned in a previous survey, there was no iron & ironing board in our room. This was interesting in the fact that this was the first time that we've ever stayed in a hotel that didn't have these amenities already in the room. However, we did receive them when asked.
Secondly, although the refrigerator was in working condition, it was not cold enough. I turned it up to the highest and the next day our drinks weren't even cold. I'm a Certified Food Manager so I know when the temperature is off. Overall, we had a nice stay.
- Scott (8/5): - A friendly and clean motel with dining options you can walk to.
- Shannon (10/5): Cute place - Cute place. Brick accent wall, comfy beds, and temp control ac
- Constance (10/5): - This was a very nice older property but it was clean, water was hot, fresh towels daily and nice thick towels, and in a quiet neighborhood. Great place to stay
- Penny (6/5): - The Sweet Home Inn is an inviting motel off of the main street. One of only a few places to stay in Sweet Home. For us it was close to family but a place to get away when needed. However, the mattresses are extra firm which doesn't work for everyone. All in all - this motel worked for our last minute needs.
- Dallas (10/5): - Not ever been to Sweet Home, it was very easy to find and I was very impresses how clean the room was. I would stay again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Won't be back - The facility was clean, but the sheets were actually frayed...just disappointed in the detais especially at the high room rate.
- Hattie (6/5): - I had ants in my room and the shower was not clean.
