- Angeline (8/5): -
- Mark (8/5): -
- Lois (3/5): Pretty much needed a quiet place to sleep. All hotels were booked for the weekend I was there. - It gave me a place to sleep. AC worked Dusty room, spiders and webs in bathroom, rusty chrome fixtures, odor. No soap, no shampoo, no Kleenex.
- Robert (9/5): - Water pressure is amazing, staff is great.
- Steven J (5/5): -
- Devall (7/5): - Staff was wonderful!!! The place was very clean and quiet!!! Check out was 11 am!! But when we left at 8 am!! Our key card stopped working for our room!! Not enough hot water for one 10 minute shower!!!
- Allison (10/5): -
- kelly (7/5): The Relax Inn was fairly priced and adequate in every respect. - It is a very convenient location. It is truly pet friendly meaning they dont charge a huge fee daily for dogs. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Im not squeemish but it was only okay. Some carpet stains. Again not horrible but showing its age
- David (9/5): -

- Victor (7/5): - Simple, clean lodgings with friendly staff. Room was a bit small and stark.
- Kroll (9/5): Good value for the money -
- Melisa (10/5): Wonderful staff! - Wonderful staff. Great parking. Easy walking to dinner. Will stay here again!
- Christina (2/5): - There was thick layers of dust on the head boards. The front door was black with grime. The bedding had cigarette burns and was thread bare. There was a leak coming from somewhere so there were 2 puddles of water on the floor. Strangely the bathroom was almost completely spotless. There was limited parking. I did knowingly reserve a smoking room (because it was all that was available), but it smelled like 3 people chain smoking in there. I expected a cigarette smell, but it was so incredibly strong. The lady behind the counter was very nice.
- Tobin (6/5): - Very cheap, but nice for the price. Perfect place if you just want to sleep for the night
- Bonnand (8/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Robbie (6/5): - It was ok. Problems with the tv and gentleman acted extremely put out. But did fix it. Clean but old and needed some repairs in the bathroom.
- ANH (7/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): - I booked the room for only the night and basically only slept there. The front desk staff was good
- Patrick Anthony (4/5): - There was no lights coming into the room and I got burned when I moved the hot wax night light. The shower didn’t work right the sink was falling off the wall. The carpet was gross.
- Sue (10/5): - The shower was amazing. I have thick red hair and it’s hard to get the shampoo out in most hotel showers. This had a lot of pressure and even had a massaging head Need to upgrade the decor and bedding. Especially the pillows. They were thin and hard as a rock.
- Rachel (10/5): - I stay here while I am in town working.
It is always 🤫 quiet.
It is always clean. And for a room on the lower end of the price range it is very good.
I always feel safe. I am a woman traveling alone and I feel safe and secure.
The husband and wife who manage this property are so kind. And take a lot of pride in thier work.
- Natalie (1/5): -
- Chris (1/5): property manager is passive aggressive, off handed side comments and aggressive with visitors -
- Lorenzo (10/5): -
- Noelle (8/5): Nice quiet motel - They Didn’t have breakfast Snot and hair on shower curtain
- Coffman (5/5): Close the curtains tight - The room was clean-ish, unfortunately I did not interact with the maids who seemed polite even if they were stand offísh. CLINT, The man who checked us in at about 8-9pm
I travel with 2 service dogs. They are very polite they never bark, growl, or bite. The desk clerk Clint just kept harassing us about them. Don't let'm go to the bathroom inside
Ok
Don't let'm lay on the beds
Ok
Don't just let your dog just run around in parking lot.
I never let go of my dogs around cars they could be killed
And several other things I don't let my dogs do anyway.
But when my Sis had to ask for an ice bucket because it does come with the room like other basic amenities for b example a coffeemaker or telephone; I was appalled that the bucket did not have a linear. The best was he was not going to let her use it unless she promised not to let the dogs use it as a watering dish. WHAT?
First I am traveling with 2 small dogs that can't reach to the bot
second I am on my way home after losing ½ my liver to emergency cancer surgery. I don't have the energy for this tomfoolery
Third Dude if you are that worried either get liners or a dish washer.
The best part was CLINT just kept walking by our window like some type of weird pervert stocker
- Emrys (9/5): -
- Denis et Angèle (7/5): - bon séjour
- marcy (8/5): - NO Microwave or coffee pot
- Michael (1/5): Worst stay in my lifetime. - Absolutely nothing. Well for one my booking.com reservation didnt show up in the system so i had to wait an hour outside while the fill-in staff didnt know what to do and got snotty with me. I had to go get up at 4am for work. It was dirty. The bed and pillows are jail quality. Theres zero soap or anything in the bathroom. All in all, worst hotel ive ever been to.
- Dan (5/5): Passable -
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Dharma (8/5): Very good -
- Graves (7/5): Good -
- Joleen (10/5): Relax Inn was RELAXING! - Just a quick Wednesday night getaway to spend a fun evening with friends and it turned out perfect! I was in desperate need of a relaxing trip and that is exactly what I got! Front desk could not have been more accommodating, even help me carry my bag up the stairs to my room as they weren't busy at the moment. Absolutely loved the little table and two dining chairs! Did not use the microwave but appreciated the refrigerator. Did not hear a sound last night the bed was very comfortable and I slept so well. Feeling fresh and rejuvenated this morning headed out for crazy life again!
- Daltongirl (9/5): Superb - Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was basic but comfortable and clean.
- Jessica (8/5): - Clint is very helpful and great to talk with. I enjoyed my stay and had no issues whatsoever. Some things are a bit outdated but that’s not anyone’s fault which is the reason for 4 stars. I’d say upgrading bedding would be great but me and my son still had a very good stay.
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Steve (6/5): A good cost-effective spot for a few days. - Rock bottom rate. Clint was a great host and the hotel was within reasonable distance to my group location. No toiletries provided and a few things in my room were a little dilapidated and/or needing repair.
- Patrick (6/5): - Real far from Eugene. Cost $90 in a cab to get there. Town is nice though
- Petre (7/5): Good -
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christian (6/5): - My clothes smell like cigarettes
- Ross (5/5): Price was good. Soft bed, no microwave and only warm water were the downsides. - Price was good
location and distance to Eugene quite close (~15-20mins) No microwave in rooms even though it was shown in the photos and quoted
"A cable TV and microwave are standard in every simply furnished room at the Relax Inn Cottage Grove. All rooms include air conditioning and are warmly decorated with carpeted floors."
Hot water was warm at best.
Beds very soft
- Pamela (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Shelly (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (6/5): - Cheepa room was cleqn but the carpet needs to replaced. There was only one light in the room
- Gary (5/5): Passable -
- Susanna (6/5): - The motel was clean and comfortable, but there were no extras. No coffee- I had to go to the shop next-door. No soap- we had to buy our own. No ice - the machine wasn't working. The staff was friendly.
- Jan (9/5): Superb - Inexpensive so lacking a few of the things we expect nowadays, coffee maker, abundant electrical outlets, bulk hair products. But hey, it was cheap! And quiet and the mattress was so comfortable! The key stopped working before we left. But it was fixed.
- Tamera (4/5): Disrespect. - Well, it was not the most updated place. It was clean for the most part.
What was bad was the people blasting music at 1:00 in the morning. Yelling stomping around. Then again at 3am mor yelling and slamming doors. More loud music.
- Diana (3/5): MEH - it was a place to sleep night staff was very rude
- S (9/5): Superb -
- Raven (4/5): Disappointing -
- Diana (6/5): - Room itself was clean. Night person was quite rude. Would recommend NOT stay here and DON'T book through a third party as they do not specify they don't allow 3rd paty payment
- Ann (8/5): Overall ok for a night or 2 - Over all a good over nighter hotel. But needs updating
- Barbara (6/5): Pleasant - Nice staff, comfy bed, cleannroom Some noise through walls and floors from neighboring rooms and loud talking people outside after10 pm.
Location is on a busy road, but it gets pretty quiet at night.
- Giselle (8/5): Very good - Quiet location, no frills but clean and the staff were kind. Nice little coffee stand only a block away for breakfast and coffee. It would be nice to have a little more shampoo (there was just one packet offered). My hair is long so I could have used one more.
- Sylvia (5/5): I think I summed it up above! - The host was very pleasant and helpful and the location was perfect. My only complaint is that there was NO soap of any kind. Luckily, I had some bar soap with me but otherwise, I would not have even been able to wash my hands! I'm not a picky person but if a place has no soap, I think that they should give a person a heads up. Others might not be so lucky.
- Robert (8/5): - Convenient for our needs. Easy access to other services. Inexpensive.
- Doreen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jereme (2/5): - Shower didn’t work. Water from sink smelled. Lamp didn’t work next to one bed. Limited parking.
- Ryon (8/5): Very good - Has smoking rooms Neighbors loud throughout the night and another vehicle was parked partially in my parking spot so I could not get in my vehicle my husband had to back out of parking spot completely for me to get in
- Brian (2/5): 1st & last stay - Saving a little money. The room didn't feel sanitary, stains in the carpet, worn out bed the restroom sink looked like it was ready to fall off the wall since all the caulking was peeling off & people stomping around the porch deck all night.
- Robert (6/5): Good value - The value was great, staff pleasant No coffee maker in room
- Agrue (1/5): Bed bugs. - Bed Bugs in the bed. Unsure if alive or not, Bugs. The bug in the photo under the comforter on the blanket and immediately left. I found it within the first 2 minutes of being there and picked up my bags and hit the road.
- Denise (5/5): Only if you need to - I'm torn with giving a review about this motel. The front desk gentleman was very nice. The room itself was not. I'm upset about how much I paid for this room. I'm not sure what to say. But I will not be staying there again.
- Elise (2/5): The place is gross and the staff are unfriendly - Located conveniently on the way in The front desk man is incredibly rude. My boyfriend thinks he has a mental illness but I think he is awful at his job. The pillows are flat, there is no soap or anything for showers. One small wastebasket and you can hear critters running around the ceiling
- Douglas (10/5): - Very nice motel with help full staff. I stay there for one night when going to Eugene for work. Will be back again in March.
- Long (7/5): Good and not good - Cost n location Neighbor yelling fighting at 3am. And then a uniform truck backing in the parking lot next to rooms at 7am with a stupid back up alarm... Give me a break man , common sense of consideration to guests sleeping that early.
- Long (9/5): Great quite relaxing - Quite night no problems.. Nothing everything was good
- Alok (1/5): I will not recommend to stay there - Nothing The guy on the reception was very rude. And rooms are so smelly it’s very hard to stay one night on those rooms.
- Simon (1/5): I would not recommend this motel to anyone we will never be back to this motel - Good location Room looked clean. But the bedding had hair on it and smelt like bad Oder as if the bedding was sleep in and not changed. We got there and no one at office had to keep pushing the bell then was told to come back in a half hour later
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional -
