My only recommendation would be to make your reservations early as it fills up quickly. It is a very popular destination.

The rooms have been updated and they were very comfortable and spacious. This is a great place to stay while visiting Pike County!

Rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Unable to get rooms next to each other as requested, was told a car drove through the building and some rooms were not available. (Did not know about this until checking in.) No hair dryer or ironing board/irons in rooms nor were they available to use.

The one little suggestion I would have would be to add somewhere to sit other than the bed. But overall you are not going to beat this room for the Price.

I took a shower around 8 in the morning, but ran out of hot water almost immediately. A hotel should provide enough hot water for all guests to enjoy a hot shower in the morning or evening.

Jason (8/5): Quiet Night at the Lodge - This hotel caters to the hunting crowd. So you wont see a great breakfast (at least not during tjenoff season) or fast internet. The layout of the place is open but not cavernous. Its a new constriction so it has a real hygenic quality going on too. The rooms were clean but god help you if you have back issues. The beds were single mattesses on an steel rack. The only thing stiffer than the bed was my back when i got up in the morning. Rates were reasonable and the staff was polite and waved a charge on a cot that wasnt ready. Aside from my titanium bolted parts aching and the wife couldnt play Neverwinter on her Playstation. It was a good stay, would definitely consider staying here again... probably should ask for more pillows next time.

Jess (6/5): - This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at green acres. The first two visits were great. This visit I can’t say the same. The receptionist at the front desk was very rude and unfriendly. I called to tell her I needed to get more towels. She said they will be there sometime today. We needed them right away as we were showering so I went to the front desk. She didn’t come to the counter. She was in the back room. I could hear her talking. I had to leave and call the front desk. I was being patient. Also the breakfast area tables were all dirty and not sanitized. No one else was in there at the time I was there. On a positive note, the housekeeper was very nice and got us some more towels. The rooms were very clean.

Sue (6/5): - I stayed in the old building which needs updating -stains on rug, hole in curtains, etc. The bed is a thin mattress on a metal frame - no box springs- so not very comfortable. There weren’t any hangers in the closet to hang your clothes and no ironing board to iron them. The internet was not good enough for me to use my work computer and the breakfast consisted of packaged pastry.
