But the hotel management tried their best to control it via pest control measures. They also highlight this issue upfront. So choose the restaurant where you want to have your breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner wisely.

- Mark Carl (10/5): Best NY holiday - Best way to end 2024 and welcome 2025. Most relaxing vacation and stargazing at night was an awesome experience. Pool in the villa is just nice for everyday dip and aqua aerobics. Great hospitality of the hotel, inviting us for a NY’s eve cocktails at the Wave Dining restaurant. We will be back again.

The in-room pool was a highlight for the children. All staff, from the doorman to restaurant help and buggy drivers, were helpful and friendly.

- 'Arfah (10/5): - What I like : the uniqueness of the property,the view and almost everything about lexus hibiscus is unparalleled. What I don't like is : doors for shower and toilet with no locks and a gap between doors and walls providing no privacy, ironing board keeps moving forward/backwards, the sauna is unnecessary should've made it as a shower room for using the pools. For entertainment it would be a nice addition if a billiards room, arcade station and a bowling place. I would like to give a huge thanks and thumbs up for all the wonderful staff for their friendly and excellent services throughout my stay in hibiscus, for sure I will come back again in the future.

It's super convenient to enjoy at anytime of the day and great isolation from crowd at public pools especially when the pandemic is still ongoing. Room was really comfy. It would be fantastic if the room tv allows guests to plug in USB to our computers or tv box since the channels were lousy and nothing much to watch.

- Callie (6/5): An Overrated Hotel - Ants greeted us at the doorway the moment we stepped into the rooms. Good thing was I brought along a bottle of sanitizer spray and used it immediately. Thank goodness it worked in killing those ants. Everything was closed during our 3D2N stay. Public pools, Japanese restaurant, karaoke, games room, gym... they were all closed. The only outdoor activity was cycling, yet the rental price for a bike was at a whooping RM10 for 30 minutes and during happy hours only. 1 table lamp, safe box and steam room were broken down, vanity counter beside the wash basin outside toilet was heavily stained, and one could see some wear & tear around the private pool area. Honestly, I would have thought that this hotel has been around for more than a decade. That much being said, there are of course some good things about this hotel. Bedding is pretty comfy and air con quite powerful. Breakfast has quite a good spread and delicious. All staff were very friendly and helpful. One word of caution though... try to get a water villa that is near the main lobby. Calling for a buggy takes at least 30 minutes.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Does not live up to 5 star resort standard - Lexis Hibiscus is a 5 star resort but it does not live up to it. We are very disappointed when we did pre check in by email and confirmation by email but when we reach the resort our record is not found and we need to redo the check in again which is not a 5 star service standard. We have requested 2 baby cot but we the front desk ask us to call the house keeping to request. When the baby cot reach it was not sanitize and the staff need to go back to the office to get the sanitizing gun to come back and sanitize again. The room was dirty and we found cookie crumb, skirt, toy, balloon and etc.

- Graham (10/5): Would highly recommend - We loved our stay and our daughter enjoyed her time in the pool. It is a pity most of the facilities were unavailable due to MCO so could not really immerse ourselves in the hotel amenities. The staff were very polite and helpful but due to the present situation the buffet was replaced with a limited a la carts.

- NUR DIANA (8/5): Nice 5 star hotel - I request the room facing sea and privacy. And they give me a very nice room facing ocean. Really happy with that. I feel satisfied and room super clean and super modern. I wish i can stay more longer. Check out too early. Nice hotel and facility as 5 star. Only breakfast need to add more cause not many choice. Its 2 star for breakfast.. Other that, all awesome!

- Nik (10/5): Great for a short family weekend! - It's a great place to relax with the family when you have a private pool overlooking the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, except for breakfast ~ we were not overly whelmed by the options and quality of breakfast!. We also felt a little worried as not everyone was wearing masks, while the hotel was pretty much fully booked, as what we could see with large crowd gatherings at the reception for check-ins. I wish the hotel can instigate stricter rules for people to wear masks at all time when they are in the common area such as the lobby! I dont think even half of the people were wearing masks when we checked in at lobby.

- Santosh Reddy (4/5): 5 star prices with 2-3 star experience - The pricing is 5 star but the experience is 2-3 star. The room by itself is fine but the pool is not private by means. Everything from the check-in onwards feels like you are entering a very busy budget hotel and doesn't get better. There were NO food options during our stay. There was one coffee shop selling 8-10 items. In the night we saw every family carrying food items and in some cases there was a couple carrying bottled water. The room didn't have a kettle or coffee options. No one picked the phone (we tried thrice in different time slots). That should tell you everything. If you are expecting a 5 star getaway with quiet & privacy, stay away.
- Sui Huang (6/5): Disappointed Stay although F&B Staff were Great - We stayed in a Panorama Seaview Villa for 2nights (3rd most expensive room in the resort) and had a bad experience both nights with 2 different rooms. After checking in, our first villa's airconditioning wasn't functioning at all and it was very warm in the afternoon. We called the lighthouse reception and they sent over the maintenance guy. He asked us to switch it off and turn it back on 30mins later. After having complimentary tea, we came back to the villa an hour later and turn the aircond on. To our surprise, it still wasn't functioning well although a tad colder. We called maintenance again and he said that the room requires a few hours to cool down since it was so big. So we left for dinner and upon returning it was bearable although not as cold as we would like. The next day after returning from lunch, the room was so hot. At this time around 3pm we called to have our room changed. After a long wait and 3rd reminder call at 4.30pm, they finally arrive to change our room to a beach view villa (cheaper & smaller) which we agreed but sadly although the aircond was fine, the steam room lights was not working and the steam room heater itself was not working. At this point, we just told ourselves we are checking out tomorrow so just make the best of our stay. For a renowned and luxury resort, I expect much better from Lexis Hibiscus especially for the high price we paid for the room.
- Anuar (4/5): Slow buggy service & roach in hotel room - I was shocked to find a huge cockroach on in can drink next to my bed. Where did it came from? There were also ants on the dresser. The buggy service is so slow. I have 2 relatives on wheelchair and called for the special buggy when we wanted to checkout. We waited almost half hour and decided to just push our luggages and wheelchairs to the lobby. While otw to the lobby, we didn’t even see the buggy coming towards our direction. When we reached the lobby we could see many buggies at the parking area. I was very angry. They weren’t even full house that day.

While the lobby and the rooms are very nice and spacious, hotel is full of groups, families from all kind of classes, means they evidently maintain different rates, making this "5 stars hotel" looks like a 4-stars bungalow. If you're looking for something more exclusive, for for other alternatives in P. Dickson.

- Rajeev (6/5): Avani GoldCoast is better than Lexis Hibiscus - Average experience because of rude front desk staff who would treat you like cattle class in spite of 800-900 RM spent for a night. Only 2 things are good here : 1. Private pool 2. Restaurants and bars For all other factors including money, Avani GoldCoast is a better option. At least you will feel well treated

- Wilfred (10/5): Family stay at Lexis Hibiscus in Dec 2019 - The stays were good though we didn't get to experience the longest slide at the beach. The arcade games need to be maintained as some of the games weren't functioning.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A laid back trip - Building is well maintenance, but 1 of my bedsheet is stain. As it was rainy season, there is limited indoor activities to occupy my 3 days stay. Buffet dinner was average without much seafood even though we are at Port Dickson. On the other hand breakfast spread was better than the dinner. There was a spa and i went for a facial, the facial was value for money and was really good. The e scooter was fun. The yoyo car and segway are not available which was disappointing.

- Karen Tan (8/5): Staycation in Port Dickson - The staycation in overall is good...Nice seaview, friendly staff, the room is clean & comfortable...But the food is average... If you looking to just relax your mind & body, Port Dickson is a nice place to chill...

I think they should provide heated pool in the future. I dont mind to pay more for that. Friendly staff. Anyway overall this hotel very very excellent 5 stars from me
- Syed (6/5): - Hotel condition is old.room blind not working as that would disturb your sleep.staff low quality.reception collect my deposit.but in room dining as me to pay cash.and when i say i want to complaint.then they start calling here and there asking their supervisor.staff knowlegde is for 2 star hotel.
- Catherine (10/5): Parking issue - All is good except for parking . There's no valet and we have to park at the multi storey carpark which was full. It was raining and with two young kids which caused inconvenience. Hope to see improvement in this area.
