Guest Reviews
- ANASTASIOS (10/5): - Excellent price quality hotel, clean good location and very friendly staff. Thank you for everything.
- Shaun (10/5): - The hotel is very clean and well organized. The breakfast is fantastic! The rooms are really nice with complimentary bottles of water as well
As tea and coffee . The area is very interesting as it’s all shops selling car parts , so it has a semi industrial feel to it . It’s close to the subway which is great .
- abdoulaye (6/5): - Pas satisfait
- Celina (10/5): - The staff are all polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast is varied and tasty. Our room was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. An enclosed shower with hot water appreciated. This was an affordable option in Dubai and since the metro was a 4-5 min walk you could easily get anywhere you wanted in Dubai. I highly recommend this hotel.
- TimeTripping (8/5): Rough environment but good budget hotel - Very clean room but otherwise a building that has been long missing an update. Breakfast for an additional cost 30AED.
The room provides a kettle and two bags of complimentary black tea and instant coffee plus two bottles of 0.5 water - provided every day. Minibar. Tv. 2 mini liquids, a body lotion and a bar soap also provided during the whole stay.
A quiet hotel in the evenings.
Ask for an adapter from the front desk if the plug wouldn't support your device.
Deciding by the nearby shops the area seems to be some kind of a vehicle traders mecca. Car parts shops everywhere.
Quite an untidy environment and dirty streets, lots of men sitting outside the many shops but still seemed safe for woman travelling alone. Metro station very close by foot.
Paying by card problematic but I found one just around the corner, 50m. In 10 minutes walking distance many supermarkets and hypermarkets with affordable prices and card payments.
- Rafal (10/5): Worthy - Early check inn possible. Very friendly and helpfull crew in front desk. Close to Deira main points.
- youcef (4/5): Not worthit - Very small room ,carpert smell old you can find much better for the same price
- Zohar (8/5): - In general hotel is in nice location of all amnetties.
- Guy (10/5): Good report quality/Price - Very good service. Very good breakfast. We appreciate to be there.
- behnoodkav (8/5): Respect for travelers, cleanliness is perhaps the most important feature of this hotel. - Although the hotel is a relatively old two-star hotel, it tries to be more than a two-star hotel. The behavior of the staff is very respectful and friendly. Minibar is cleaned and charged every day. The cleaning of the room is excellent.
Access on foot from a parking lot and being in the heart of the car parts and accessories market can be the weaknesses of the hotel. But in terms of location, it is very close to the main market of Dubai and commercial centers.
- Filinda (8/5): - Good location, close to train station
- Amidala_06 (10/5): Recommend - I spent a very nice week at the hotel. The décor may be modest, but clean. Daily room cleaning, replenished water, clean linen. I would like to thank all the hotel staff, all of us and each and every one of them. Everyone was always smiling, kind and very helpful. Thank you for everything, I hope to come back. 🤞🍀
- Darwin (4/5): Not good, would not book again - In my experience, the only good thing about this hotel is the staff. They are incredibly service-minded and nice. Especially the staff opening the doors for you.
The rest was pretty horrible. My room was severely neglected. There were stains on my bed and the room was in an incredibly bad shape. The bathroom trash can had rusted away. It does not cost much to replace a trash can. The Wi-Fi does not work well enough for you to use it, especially for meetings and such. It would go out every 2-3 minutes and become super slow. Every furniture was old and dirty to some extent. The bed’s headboard had faded away graffiti on it!
- 779asherm (2/5): Scam! Stay away! - They try to cancel booking and not charge your card and then try to throw cancellation charges on you. Stay cautious and away from them they are just cheap thugs trying to scam free money.
Don’t book and stay away!!!!!!!!
I also requested but they wanted something else
- NADER (6/5): - It is good hotel and clean but location is not so good and the WiFi is bad (working near the room door only and not working on the bed
- Vincent (8/5): - There were a few baby cockroaches in the room and a random fire alarm that woke me up.
But otherwise it was perfectly upto the standard i expected.
- Freddy Festus (8/5): Sejour à Deira - Super...
Touristes un peu brouillard..
- Carolyn Sue (8/5): - Staff was amazing. Property was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellant. Room was small with no view and the area it was in was cramped. But you get what you pay for. Nice budget hotel.
- Ricardo Mario (10/5): Best em Deira - Excelente hotel em Deira.
Perto do metrô, restaurantes e comércio.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant budget hotel with polite & friendly staff - Great staff, very polite and friendly.
Water could have been a little hotter.
Slight leak from under the sink - no big deal.
No heating or just wasn't very warm.
Area is safe, but is in old town so not much around if you arrive at night. Lots of car part and lighting shops around.
Found a really nice restaurant nearby where we had lovely tasty meals (chicken and rice and daal and rice) for not a lot of money.
Fully recommend this for a short/overnight stay as it is near the airport (£10 taxi ride).
- Ancy (8/5): - The staffs were very helpful
- srmora66 (10/5): I ❤️ this budget 🏨 ! - Loved this budget hotel right from check in to checkout.
Day time front office crew two personnel & night crew guy are efficiently professional in addressing pax needs.
I will visit again with my family & my future requirements of Deira Dubai stays, freezed this property as my prime option
- Helena (10/5): - Stayed here fir 3 nights. Convenient to public transportation. shopping, eating establishments and DXB airport. The buffet breakfast had so many varieties to choose from and definitely a great amenity. Service was prompt and exceptional. I would stay again at this lodging property.
- Fawzi (8/5): - The staff extort tourism fees. I have never seen of such fees in staying other hotels in the area. Obviously it’s money that goes to their pockets. That’s unscrupulous thing to charge customer on their check out.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Mizzir (6/5): - Property was ok for the rate I paid but not the best location. There was nowhere to eat as the whole area was full of Car and Motor parts shops. Very busy with locals and workers.
- Aung (8/5): Value for money - Rooms are small but value for money , near to the metro station . If you're on a move and don't want to spend alot on hotel but still want a decent room then this is for you
- Bachar (8/5): - Stayed there for one day only, good if no need to be in town often, ok for the price, however, a bit from the center.
- Kit Wing (10/5): - It is clean and the staff are both friendly and helpful.
- ABDULWAHAB (8/5): - This place is good, service, clean and supportive staff. It deserves the little extra cost compared to its surroundings.
- LindaL797 (10/5): I definitely recommend this hotel. - I highly recommend this hotel. It is very professionally run, and my room was homey and very clean - I enjoyed going back to it every evening. It is a quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained hotel. .The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was very pleasant. Yes, the surrounding neighborhood specializes in auto parts and is not touristy, but it is busy and felt perfectly safe. The hotel is very close to the subway and the airport.
- Polina (10/5): Excellent value hotel - Wasn’t sure what to expect but this ended up being a great stay. I did a lot of research and this might just be the best budget hotel in the area, quite possibly all of Dubai.
- Staff are very helpful and professional, responded immediately to all our queries. By far the highlight of our stay!
- Surprisingly quiet and good sound isolation, you won’t hear any calls to prayer at 5.30 am as in other hotels
- Daily thorough cleaning
- Walking distance to both green (2min) and red (10min) metro lines
- Close to Al Ghurair shopping mall and Al Rigga road (vibrant and walkable local neighborhood, rare for Dubai)
- Breakfast is often included in the room rate (nothing luxurious, but you can get eggs or omelette fresh to order)
- 24/7 room service
- They offer excursions and airport drop-off
- No deposits as they like to do in other hotels
- You can actually crack the room window open to get some fresh air (which can be impossible to do in many other hotels in Dubai as the windows just don’t open)
The neighborhood can feel a little scratchy to someone who has never been in this part of the world, but we felt completely safe even at night.
We spent a week there and I’d 100% stay again on my next trip.
- Brooke (10/5): Mark Inn Deira - Wonderful experience! Everyone was so nice and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is very close to two different Metro stations and a mall with grocery shopping. I felt safe here as a solo female traveler. I'd definitely stay here again!
- Jeffrey Lawrence (6/5): - Not a great area of town. This is the biggest criticism
- Houcine (2/5): - Very poor service
I don’t recommend it to anyone
- Michael (6/5): - It was clean and the
- Aboobakker (10/5): - Stay was good. Except no tv channels, especially no sports channels.
- geoffrey (10/5): should be 5 star hotel even with no swimming pool - All staff excellent, rooms spotless, 2 minute walk from exit 2 Banyas Square subway station, buy Nol silver 25AED card at airport subway airport with credit card, easy to get to hotel with suitcase on subway(4 stops red line to Union
then one stop green line to Banyas Square)
Banyas Square has only 2 exits..as exit gates exit 2 is left.
Resturant and breakfast service Excellent.. food fantastic" thanks to Muhammad, Adir, Pappa & cooks Rajanand Ghosh(as good as 5 star hotel).. Front Desk was excellent... thanks.Nadeem,Ratu Syam Furqan,Umiar.. also thanks to security for taxi/transport to pier Arshad,Mehfooz & Demesh. Also rooms & hotel was spotlessly clean ..we were party of 12 from Kong Kong..Will only stay here next time we come to Dubai
• we were on a cruise and they even arranged transport for us at minimum charge, same as taxi a taxi ...I think they called it a pickup...4 people and all luggage for 60 AED..
.The only probem I could see for others would be the 2 minuite walk from exit 2 to the hotel...it is a simple walk but a map of the walk on the website would make it easier
(I use Maps me)...also the hotel can arrange the desert safaris at a cheaper cost....I already booked on line but next time will use hotel to book...it is around 40% cheaper.
They have other tours, I am sure cheaper..
Well done to all staff hope to meet you all again in the future...could manager also compliment cleaning staff for
spotless rooms and immediate reaction to our many
requests
- Mario (10/5): Recomendado.
- taquir (8/5): A Small Family Friendly Place - This is a small, clean good services hotel which is purely family oriented with no amenities like SPA or Disco. The food quality is good, the breakfast is good with good choices.
It is located in the whole sale market area of Deira. The markets, Rigga, Nasir Square and other markets and shopping centres like Al Ghurair and others are within half kilometer radius.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, decent rooms. Small breakfast area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the silence and calmness of the hotel. The location is ideal for shopping
- thekhansahb (4/5): Okay place but with caveats - The hotel and its staff are fine, the rooms are very small, to extent that two people can hardly walk around. What I hated about this hotel is their policies on visitors. My brother was visiting us and the staff followed him all the way to the room, kept knocking on the door in a very aggressive manner, making us feel like criminals. Barely survived my first stay - never staying here again, nor would I recommend it to others. There are far better hotels in the area. This hotel’s neighborhood is mostly auto mechanic and spare parts shops, so unless you are in town for that purpose, not worth taking the hassle to walk through that area.
- Jacek (8/5): Warto. Hotel godny polecenia. - Jak na dwie gwiazdki hotel bardzo przyzwoity. Miła i uczynna obsługa. Wygodne pokoje. Cicho.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - good friendly service..not a good location in the backstreets
- SunSeaSkyy (8/5): Good Value and Close to Airport - This hotel is nothing fancy and in a commercial part of town (many car parts shops all around), but it has many good features. It is close to the airport and the metro (subway) stop. The breakfast buffet (25 dirhams) is very nice as is the lunch buffet (35 dirhams). The room was small but everything was functional. The WiFi works fine and the staff very pleasant.
Good value in (very expensive) Dubai.
- JoeS_TravelGuy (8/5): OK Hotel for our 1-night forced Layover, 15 min from airport via Light Rail. - Our Emirates Flight from USA to Sri Lanka entailed a 14-hour Layover in Dubai. So we booked a hotel so we could rest before flying again the next day. We made the big mistake of not knowing Emirates policy that they GIVE passengers FREE hotel if they have layover more than 9 hours and you remember to request more than 48-hours in advance. We forgot to do this. So we needed to find and book a hotel. Would have been nice to have free hotel. the price we paid for our layover hotel was more than any hotel we stayed in in our entire 3 week trip to Sri Lanka. Hotel was away from airport. Room was OK. We took Dubai Light Rail (used credit card) and easy walk to hotel. friendly welcome. It was after 10 pm, but we still go a meal at restaurant, then next morning, back to airport.
- OKS35 (10/5): A price/benefit monster - We stayed one night only for sleeping while coming back from Bali. But I can say I am pleased with the hotel. Location is in the old City. So looks like a poor area. But hotel is so nice. From check in to out personnal was so professional and they helped a lot. Even they saw us very tired and upgraded our room. Room was very spacious comfortable and super clean. I found everything I need. I can highly recommend this hotel those who look for economic hotel but doesn't care about location. BTW hotel is very near to Metro Station
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel room is small. Do not book with breakfast. Area is not safe
- 69aminh (6/5): Very unpleasant - The hotel clean and close to the biusness I had a deal.but my stay was for four night and the stuff hold my passport and ask me about whenever they see me how much my due and if I want to take care of the bill and never experience in hotel world to ask for the due even if I had three night to go, so it's tottlay unprofessional. And the stuff except the door man was not friendly and I'll not stay next time in this hotel which I'll back to my regular hotel landmark.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Recommended for good, comfortable stay at a budget! - Good value for the amount you're paying. Clean and comfortable bedroom. Good location as well! Staff is pleasant.
- Vamoose45 (8/5): Good choice - Good clean reasonably-priced hotel, helpful staff, a few minutes from Baniyas metro station. Smoke smell in room was a bit off-putting. I asked for a non-smoking room but I suspect that all of the rooms have been smoked in at one time or another. Breakfast and lunch buffets were cheap but not great food.
- Richard (8/5): Good people, good breakfast - Stayed here twice in a two week period as my travels wrapped around Dubai. Expedia address shows this property is located on Al Maktoum Hospital Road. WRONG! The hotel is located behind a high rise parking garage on that same road. There are a series of side streets behind said garage. It took me an hour to find the place. Once there, everything was OK. Check in was efficient. Room housed a very comfortable bed flanked by end tables with reading lamps. There was a desk and chair with sufficient lighting. Storage closet contained enough space for clothes as well as an easily programmable safe. There was even a coffee/tea area. AC worked fine. The major issue for me was that hot water NEVER got HOT making for a refreshing(?) shower. The breakfast was a delight as the Indian chef made interesting dishes unknown to my palate. The hotel staff was personable and helpful.
- I8307BRrichardm (8/5): Hard to find - Stayed here twice during a two week period as my travel wrapped around Dubai. Property is hard to find as address is not on Al Maktoum Hospital Road but behind a parking garage where there are a series of side streets cluttered with businesses. Check in was efficient. Room contained a comfortable bed flanked by two end table with reading lamps. There was a desk and chair with sufficient lighting. The clothes closet had more than enough room. Safe was easily programmable. There was even a coffee/tea area. AC worked well. My major issue was that the water never got HOT for a shower. The staff was very helpful at every turn. The breakfast was delightful with many interesting dishes unknown to my palate. I'd probably stay there again.
- PJTripAdv18 (10/5): Underrated - Wasn't sure what to expect given that this hotel was in and amongst cluttered shops and everything was close together. It's hidden away in Old Deira and the location is convenient as it is 5 minutes walk away from the high street, restaurants and the metro station. Public amenities are close by also. The hotel looked presentable and professional both inside and out and staff were always friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the cleaners. The room we stayed in was surprisingly top notch. A relatively big washroom, TV, towels, toiletries, etc. The beds were very comfortable and easy to drift off in. Not much of a view from the window though as it faces another building. The room also has air conditioning which is helpful as sometimes it gets too hot and you may struggle to sleep at night. Breakfast starts at 6:30AM and ends at 10AM if I remember correctly. In terms of lunch there is a buffet and a 24/7 a la carte menu in which you can purchase meals but I would advise asking reception about this because we didn't have lunch or dinner here. Overall the experience at the Mark Inn Hotel was excellent. We were asked if our room was okay about a day or two into the visit which suggests the hotel staff are definitely here to listen and help resolve any problems and take on any feedback. Would stay here again.
- Manoj (10/5): Great hotel, very close to all transport modes - The Mark Hotel Diera, am amazing hotel with incredibly nice staff, from Ramesh at the front desk through to the cleaners! Very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are great, the executive rooms very comfortable and a good size. The choice of breakfast and lunch is varied and covers all tastes.
The hotel is a short ride from the airport and only 2 mins from the Baniyas Square Metro. A 10 minute walk will take you to the Creek where you can get an Abra across to the other side. Would absolutely stay here again.
- manojj434 (10/5): Week in Dubai - The Mark Inn Hotel in Diera, where do I start...A great hotel in a fantastic location in terms of transport links. This hotel has great rooms, we stayed in one of the Executive rooms which was a great size and everything you would need. Ramesh and the team do all that they can to make you feel welcome and very helpful in making sure you don't miss anything of Dubai during your trip. The hotel is 2 mins from Baniyas Square metro station, great bus links and a 10 minute walk from the Abra station(water taxis). Had a amazing time, thank you and hope to see you again soon
- Verified traveler (10/5): - pleasant stay, 5 min walk to metro. convenient. being a male, no hassle to walk around at night
- Verified traveler (6/5): Busy location. But not too shabby - You pay for what you get. And I didn't get any hot water
- Amina (10/5): Warm welcome with on going comfort. - I had a nice time no miss apps
Nice dinner served in the restaurant indoor dinning comfy bed window mini bar easy to use safe and drycleaning services.
- Esther A (6/5): Not that great - Didn't really get I was looking forward to see in an Hotel like Markinn
- robin (10/5): basic Inn clean, comfortable and convenient - Dubai is nothing short of miraculous in its planning and implementation. Mind blowing modern architecture mixed with traditional
- Patrick (8/5): Good hotel for small business man - Except for the location, it is a very good hotel with friendly and well behaved and trained staffs. Excellent house keeping . Breakfast is super! Enjoyed my stay but for the location .
- Halima (10/5): Exceptional Service - Always a great stay at Mark Inn; I usually visit Dubai for business and always opt to stay here because of the location and the quality of service.
The staff is very professional, attentive, and welcoming. Nice budget hotel that is super clean and comfortable - with great access to the Gold Souk.
- EYAD (10/5): highly recomended - for its price and being 2 star hotel i was really pleased with this hotel. reception was fast and friendly and they let me do check in around 12 which is 2 hours before check in time. staff was very helpful and polite. the room had everything you need and i liked the luggage space next to the door where you can neatly put your luggage. Also the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was very nice with shampoo , body wash and even hair comb and hair dryer availabe. the metro station was 2 min away walking and airport terminal 1 metro station was 5 stations away from the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel to stay - I enjoyed my stay at Mark Inn. Very nice food and staff. Room size, specially the bathroom was too small for me. Otherwise, I was ok with it.
- Lourdes (8/5): parking is not free - the room was clean but location was not easy to find. if you rent a car dont stay here = parking is not free
- Emin (8/5): Good value for money for business trip. - Very friendly and professional staff. Close to Bani Yas metro station. Food is delicious. Breakfast choice is very poor.
- yassir (2/5): worse hotel ever, u will regret it, do not go - worse night ever
- naqibullah (10/5): An amazing stay I have ever had - It was an amazing experience in this hotel I have ever had the employees were very frindly and help ful
- Lindot (8/5): Great staff makes all the difference - Hotel room was small but comfy. Near to Baniyas station. Food was excellent and worth the money. Staff was so awesome and accommodating.
- Paolo (6/5): Cost efficient hotel in Deira - The area is the 'old' but lively Banyas Square vicinity, some streets can be a little worrying at night.
The hotel position is not good but the rooms inside are much better. A bit of maintenance should be done (noisy ventilator in bathroom and air conditioning)
- Stanley (10/5): A Delightful Stay in Dubai - This hotel was ideal for my stay. It was conveniently located to the places I needed to visit. Internet service was slow but dependable. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. The bed was somewhat too hard for my taste, but it was always clean. In the middle of my stay, my bank card was eaten up by an ATM machine and so I had no cash. As a result, I was unable to leave last-day tips to the housekeeper, the restaurant waiters, and the doorman. The front desk told me that I could not add this on to my bill. My inability to give gratuities was my greatest regret. Otherwise, my stay at the Mark Inn Hotel was delightful.
- Lorenzo (6/5): Good place for smokers - Everything was really great value for money except that our non-smoking room smelled like smoke when the neighbors smoked (or so we were told by the stars): I did not like that at all. For the rest: staff was friendly, smiling, attentive, helpful. Room was ok with comfy bed and everything in working order (furniture a bit worn out). Great for the price in Dubai.
- Ralf (10/5): Great value rooms in Deira - Nice hotel with spacious rooms. It's in Deira, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Rooms are very well outfitted, good furniture, etc. I would definitely stay there again.
- a alamd (10/5): Great price - Very friendly staff, and very clean,
Food is good
- Elena (10/5): - I have never had such a pleasant experience for the money than here at Mark Inn. To all those people spending hundreds of dollars per night in glitzy Dubai, I say, "come to deira, stay at the mark inn, and experience the REAL Dubai.
I will recommend this hotel to all my friends!
- mashhood (6/5): Very Convenient Hotel - Very convenient for price and location. Metro is a 3-minute walk. Lots of shopping within a 10-minute walk. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was mediocre. Room quite small. No on-site parking - public parking garage right across costs 80 AED/night. Would probably stay here again.
- Hepsibah (8/5): - Clean hotel. The hotel is in a market which is not a very nice area to walk around in at night. Overall we enjoyed the stay because the hotel was clean.
- Hussam (2/5): Very Bad Hotel, Do not stay there - The executive room is very uncomfortable and small and the hotel staff are not very helpful. i highly recommend you don't stay in this hotel. you can get much better quality with the same rate.
- Hugh (6/5): Convenient, clean hotel in Deira. - Good, clean, hotel conveniently located among many small shops in Deira; staff was very friendly and efficient in providing assistance.
- Mariana (8/5): - The area wasn't so good, but the staff was super friendly. Good value for money.
- Verified traveler (10/5): The best hotel in Deira - Great service provided by the friendly staff and check in / out process is extremely fast and efficient... this is the best hotel i ever stayed in Dubai ( In total of 3 )... The room is clean and very comfortable. Only 3-4 mins walk to Metro station. Definitely will recommend this hotel to all my friends...
- Bob (10/5): A quality hotel in Deira - Mark Inn is located on a quiet street in the heart of Deira. It is minutes away from a Metro Station and surrounded by restaurants and shops, and within walking distance to the Gold Souk. The hotel facilities are in excellent condition, and the staffs are friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for a quality hotel to stay close to the Old Dubai, Mark Inn is an excellent choice.
- Anthony (10/5): Convenient and clean cheap hotel. - Stayed here for the week. Good place to stay on the whole. I'd recommend it and would stay again.
