• Gabrielle (10/5): It has been a pleasure to stay at Grand Budapest Apartments - The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The bed and couch are both comfortable and there is plenty of clean quilts for the bed, towels were replaced during our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked to allow for meal preparation. The manager, Luca, is friendly and helpful and gave us very good recommendations to make our stay more enjoyable, and checked in on us regularly to see if we needed anything and replying. She always followed up when we asked any questions or needed anything. The apartment is close to public transport, shops and restaurants and travel to site seeing was easy to navigate. There is also a secure outdoor area that is great for drying washing. It has been an excellent experience staying at Grand Budapest apartments. No deficits

No privacy, constant scraping of furniture in Nextdoor apartment,towels r to worn to use as rags, blankets were unusable- made of cheap fabric, not recently cleaned. No way to have privacy unless u want to feel trapped in a box.

We received a warm and friendly welcome. The apartment was comfortable and matched the description. The only small downside was the lack of natural light, but it did not affect the quality of our stay. We would definitely recommend this place for a family stay in Budapest.

On nous a livré serviettes de toilette, torchon propres et papier toilette au bout de 2 jours, c'est une délicate attention, très appréciable ! Juste un groupe de jeunes très bruyants sur le même étage un soir et début de nuit, mais heureusement la propriétaire est intervenue très rapidement pour leur demander d'être plus discrets. It’s kinda comfy for 4 people, maybe 5, but anything more than that is rather uncomfortable. The couch is very uncomfortable and the mattress on the loft is also cheap and not good for sleeping

There are 2 bedrooms and one of them have a gallery so it is like 3 bedrooms + living room. The host is super nice and available for every question. We highly recommend.

• Ekaterina (2/5): - Единственный плюс в апартаментах это расположение , до улицы с руин-барамм 5 мин пешком.Ну и полчаса где-то до парламента. К сожалению, впечатления от проживания оказались крайне неприятными. В апартаментах было откровенно грязно: пол не мыли явно давно, в ванной — плесень, розетки чёрные от грязи. В шкафу стояли три вентилятора, так что разместить одежду было негде. Особое “впечатление” произвела посудомоечная машина — при попытке её загрузить отвалилась дверца. Таблетки для неё, к слову, были предусмотрительно оставлены, в отличие от капсул для кофемашины, которая, как назло, работала. В целом создаётся ощущение, что уборка и уход за жильём здесь — понятия теоретические. Очень жаль: фотографии и реальность совпадают только в воображении хозяев.

• Aviv (10/5): Amazing stay for a family of five in the heart of Budapest - Location was perfect, apartment was large, clean with all the appliances we needed (also with a coffee machine!). The landlord was amazing, she gave us a gift for our anniversary and brought us everything we needed (detergent, soap, extra towels). WiFi was excellent and check-in and check were easy. Communication with Luca was super easy and friendly and she even did our restuarants reservations! Amazing! We will definitely come back to stay there and we recommend staying there for everyone! Nothing!!!

• Hlynur (7/5): Inflated reviews - Good: Communication was friendly, attentive and responsive via Whatsapp. The location is in a quiet are, but still only 15 minutes walk downtown or 5 minutes to the metro. The living/dining area and kitchen are spacious and the ceiling is high. Kitchen is quite well equipped and also has a dishwasher (detergent was provided). There's also a washer (washing liquid provided) and a drying rack, which was convenient (. The mattress in the main bedroom was good (we didn't try the others). The couch also. Not good: They specifically asked for a 10/10 review for everything and stressed that anything less would be bad for their business! I felt it was extremely inappropriate attempting to pressure the customer in that way, and explained that I would only give an honest review that would actually benefit fellow travelers. Looking through the reviews I guess this practice of theirs actually works, as most reviews of '24 and '25 are 10/10. However, older reviews reflect the reality much better. The photos are misleading, as they are a mix of several apartments and look better than in reality. The apartment is in need of renovation and maintenance. Furniture don't match in style, there are stains on window curtains. The common area of the building looks like it hasn't been painted in decades. There is only A/C in the living room (works well), but in the bedrooms you have to use a fan (noisy). The pillows are small and of mediocre quality. The lighting is uncomfortably bright ("warm white" bulbs would improve it), although there's only one bedside table and bedside lamp, since the bed space is too narrow for two. There is only one toilet (a problem if 6 -8 persons are staying there) and the extra shower is strangely placed by the bedside in the main bedroom. The window curtains don't cover the whole window so the sunlight shines through the sides. The warm water wears out pretty quickly if the showers are used simultaneously. The bathroom is narrow. Only 2in1 shampoo/soap is provided, no conditioner. No coffee pods were provided nor a single bottle of drinking water (as is usually customary). No kitchen towels.

Parking dla podróżujących własnym autem po drugiej stronie ulicy ( publiczny, w weekendy bez opłat). Blisko centrum, cisza i spokój. Na 7 osób ( dwie rodziny) było wystarczająco miejsca. Polecamy

Fit family of 4 comfortably - Location: Really close to bus and tram options which are around 15 mins away from all the main sites on Buda side (around 45 mins if you wanted to walk too). Also 10 mins walk away from the much visited New York cafe, alongside many known supermarkets and other places to eat. Took an hour by bus and underground train to get straight outside the airport which was fab and included in our BudapestGo travel card. Apartment: Bathroom clean and spacious - note that second shower and sink is inside one of the rooms. Great space in the living room, sofa incredibly comfortable and air con works really well there (air con not in bedrooms, but a fan is provided). Although a slim space, kitchen has everything you need. Smart TV so was able to stream Netflix. Street that the apartment is on looks lovely and the courtyard design kept us nice and cool in 30C heat. Also felt super safe Service: super accommodating from start to finish! Thank you Amanda! Bedroom pillows were quite small/short, not sure if it’s the culture so we didn’t ask for new ones, but not experienced that anywhere else
