Andrew (8/5): Killarney centre - Great location, friendly staff and comfortable quiet room on the 4th floor. Quirky hotel, excellent parking (free) and fantastic breakfast. We weren't aware that the hotel didn't offer food other than breakfast, room service or evening meals were not available, however the town centre is very close by offering plenty of choice. Some lovely restaurants nearby but booking is advisable.

Our room was facing a street, and we had all the street lights beaming directly at us at night, had to shut all the curtains and leave only a tiny crack.

Our original room was lovely and spacious but had a couple of small issues so we were upgraded to the Penthouse! Which has made this break even more amazing. Staff all really nice and helpful.

Mark (10/5): Sensational stay - This was my second time staying at brook lodge and both times have been exceptional. I received an extremely warm welcome at reception again this time. And my stay was made even more pleasant as i received an upgrade to the penthouse suite which is an extremely comfortable and spacious room. Very nice bathroom with a great shower and a huge standalone bath. I'll diffinetly will be staying again. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about brook lodge it's superb.

P560KImarym (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet convenient location with very welcoming staff - We booked one night in The Brook Lodge Hotel in Killarney at the last minute and we were so happy with the hotel. It is on a very quiet location just off the main street. It is a lovely boutique hotel with well appointed rooms. We were allocated the garden suite which was spacious with a very comfortable bed. All the staff were so friendy and welcoming. Both receptionists Klinta and Lilu (forgive my spelling) are true ambassadors for the hotel and Breakfast was served by a lovely lady Catherine. Now that we have found this gem of a hotel we definitely recommend it.

Amanda (10/5): Penthouse living, wonderful staff, close to town centre and breakfast was great. - We stayed in the Penthouse and it was gorgeous! Comfortable bed, room was spacious and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was huge and well layers out with a stand alone huge bath. Breakfast was fantastic and staff really looked after you. Literally a short walk from the main shopping centre. The towels provided had been thin and very small, if you are staying in a penthouse we expected large fluffy towels. There was no robes or slippers but that’s just a bonus anyway. If the towels had been large and fluffy I couldn’t fault our stay and in all honesty I’m being extra picky here.

hayley (8/5): Lovely from start to finish. - Very pleasant staff on check in and out and night porter. Very warm bedroom maybe a little too warm but rather that then too cold. Lovely comfy bed and beautiful hot shower. Wud most definitely book here again. I can’t say I didn’t like anything, my partner left the room to go for a pint when I was getting ready to go down town and he stated it wasn’t much of a bar but I can’t say much more then 2nd hand information

ds10194 (10/5): A hotel gem in Killarney - We stayed at the Brook Lodge for three nights in October 2025 and had an excellent experience. The location was perfect - an easy short walk (<5 minutes) to the main streets with shopping and restaurants, and on a very quiet street. It is a small, boutique hotel so it wasn't overrun with large tour groups when we were there. The entrances to Killarney National Park are close. I went for a nice morning run in he park along the riverwalk footpath and up a side footpath alongside cows grazing in a field (separated by a fence). From the hotel we walked through the park and to Ross Castle in 45 minutes, thanks to the advice of Catherine, the amazing breakfast host and server. Catherine is a wealth of local knowledge, so much that we scrapped our plans to go on a Dingle Peninsula bus tour and stayed in Killarney for the day, exploring Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall, and Muckross House and Gardens via foot and the hop-on/hop-off bus. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom seemed like it was recently remodeled. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. One night we thought (incorrectly) that the heater in our room was broken and the front desk attendant kindly offered to bring us a space heater without hesitation, and then called maintenance to help us troubleshoot (it was our fault for not turning the knob up to 5). We got the breakfast-included rate, which was well worth it. In addition to the cold buffet of fruit, cereals, pastries, juices, it included one hot entree from the breakfast menu. I also appreciated that they had almond and soy options for non-dairy milk. Overall, great hotel. Highly recommend!

Mark (10/5): Extremely satisfied - From a very warm welcome at reception to my room been extremely comfortable and spacious. My stay at brook Lodge was exceptional. I found the staff overall very friendly and the hotel was extremely clean and in an excellent location. I will most certainly be staying here again. I have absolutely no negative feedback.

Tim P Martin (8/5): - Clean Room, Comfortable bed, good location. This is a mixed use Hotel and was dissapointed that the fact it is also housing refugees wasn't mentioned at any point when booking. While there is breakfast you will need to head to the nearby town for lunch and dinner.
