Useful magnifying mirror! Good hot shower. Very good value for money. Very clean. Lovely to have generous number of teabags and fresh milk. Thankyou. Bath towels could do with an update. Our only problem was finding our way back from a meal out as the main road was closed! Dark narrow lanes meant it took an hour to work our way back!!

- David (10/5): Magical, hidden gem, definitely be returning. - Amazing throughout, what a fantastic place, definitely return again soon. Great value for money, staff communication second to none. Loved every minute plus even played golf, fab, fab, fab, AAA+ All good throughout, definitely better than other local accommodation in the area that we have stayed at.

Handy to Ross and Ledbury and not far to other herefordshire towns. Well equipped with everything you need including fresh milk. The lodges are nicely decorated and very smart and clean Nothing to dislike

Set around a quiet courtyard and so much nicer than a typical hotel and noisy corridors. ideal place for a short break and exploring the area. Really nice rural setting but easy to find. Good contact and check in instructions. I will definitely return and recommend.
- Brewis (8/5): Good value - Clean, facilities were good including a fridge. Good sized room and quiet location. We were given a good supply of tea and coffee and a breakfast pack. Good pubs to eat near by although you need a car to stay here. Toilet seat is a poor fit.

- Neil (10/5): Excellent - Room was as described, spacious, comfortable and very clean. Stayed for 3 nights as a base for sight seeing and to attend a show at the "Malvern Showground" about 14 miles away. Received a text on the day explaining parking and keys and we could go straight to our room without any formal booking in. The room was well equipped (included a chiller) with tea/coffee/biscuits and the breakfast bag. It is a nice quiet location. We would highly recommend and stay again,

- Patricia (10/5): A Super Place to Stay - We have stayed here before and it is lovely comfortable accommodation. You receive a breakfast bag each day and the fridge is stocked with milk and water. There are also plenty of teabags, coffee and biscuits provided. You have everything you need for a relaxing stay.

- Percy (4/5): I only stayed one night and wanted to cancel the rest, but it wasn’t allowed — so I ended up losing the money. I think I - The only real positive is the peaceful silence — it’s in the middle of absolutely nowhere, so if you’re looking to completely disconnect, that may appeal to you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re fully equipped with your own transport. Newent Golf is definitely not for travelers without a car. It is located far from Gloucester and very difficult to reach unless you’re driving. Public transport is not an option, and even taxis are really expensive £160 and hard to find in the area.

- Eamon (10/5): A hidden retreat that is well worth a visit! - Rooms were spotless. Host Maggie was very welcoming. Very reasonable pricing for items in golf shop. Nothing! all good.
- Christina (10/5): - I stay here most years for an event I attend nearby. The rooms are good value, clean and have everything I need. It is low hassle, quiet and I sleep well. Breakfast is very basic Fruit, pastry and cereal bar hung on the door the day before but suits me for an early start.
- Linda (7/5): This would have been the perfect place to stay if the window and door were working! - The room was lovely, a good size, lots of storage units (wardrobe, drawers, hanging space etc.) There was a fan in the room which was much appreciated, as the weather was very hot! The bed was comfortable for one person. The tea and coffee making facilities were good. The lock on the front door was very difficult to operate. The window didn't shut securely as the catch was broken. Both of these items need maintenance.

Recommended to relatives to stay when visiting another relative who lives 5 minutes away - It had everyone needed for an overnight stay and I forgot my phone charger plug and a member of staff came to the cabin and gave me one I’d have liked outside seating. I was tired from a long journey and as the sun was shining I’d have liked to sit outside with a drink!

- Kay (10/5): Little gem - We were pleasantly surprised as wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Everything was as promised, room was large, clean, comfortable and warm. Little extras such as magnifying mirror, room spray and to go breakfast. Really would recommend and we would certainly stay again but for longer. Really lovely little gem!

Lovely touches that make such a difference like fresh milk in the fridge, a hair dryer that worked, good lighting and a make up mirror. Had we needed anything, I’m confident Maggie would have sorted it. It was exceptionally clean.
