- Lucy (10/5): - Great little guest house in a perfect location. Room was cute, small but had everything needed for our 2 night stay. Ana was lovely. Location was absolutely fantastic. Right in the center of the old town, overlooking the main street. Room could be noisy with windows open, but during the night if you pull the shutters completely closed and shut the windows, it was very quiet. Absolutely no complaints, would definitely return.

Host replies to your msgs in a timely manner and will take the time to give suggestions about places to visit, eat, etc. The units face the Main Street of old town but once you close the window, you’ll barely hear any noise. Tap water is drinkable. Cons: The stairs are as described, very narrow. If we had a full size suitcase we wouldn’t’ve been able to go up. I could’ve done without the scent sprayed on the bed. If you’re the coffee and cream type, bring cream and sugar with you. Overall, excellent location and host.
- Hannah (8/5): Dubrovnik is beautiful - The location and host were absolutely amazing. I loved the views of the city from my window and could walk everywhere. Ana gave me plenty of detailed information on check in and how to get transportation when I left. She even messaged me happy birthday when I was there! What an absolute gem. I only took one star off because of the noise level on the street. This is not the hosts issue but it was very noisy at night with people partying until about 3:30-4am every night. Just bring earplugs don’t be like me and forget.
- Eric (6/5): - The communication was terrible for check-in . Figured out how to access the keys for the building on our own due to the lack of communication with staff, which was stressful. The bed had mismatched sheets, pillow cases and bed spread. The flat sheet was threadbare and so thin you could see through it. I will say that it was centrally located and quiet considering the amount of noise surrounding the room.

- Janice (8/5): - Great- location! I felt like Disney’s Belle as I opened up my shutters and looked down upon Dubrovnik’s main thoroughfare- Stradun Street! This location can’t be beat, and Ana, the caretaker, was so attentive to all of my needs! Very clean. Beware- there are four floors for the five apartments. No elevator. Winding stairs (54 to the top, but who is counting?!) So anyone with health problems or a lot of luggage would need assistance. Also, it is difficult to find the location since its entrance is on the alley behind the Main Street. Plus, it is loud at night until after the bars close (thus the earplugs they leave for you!). But despite these concerns, I would stay here again for the amazing price and amazing location!!
- Lisa (10/5): - Amazing small apartment directly in the Old Town. Ana was an amazing host, very nice and informative! The apartment was small but has everything you need, including a small fridge and an electric kettle. Towels and soap/shampoo etc. were also provided. Only downside is that since it's directly on the main street Stradun, it gets very loud at night, but we were provided ear plugs. Still, plenty of restaurants around, as well as shopping. Overall a wonderful stay and if you don't mind the noise, I'd totally recommend staying here ☺️

- Juliane (10/5): Amei e quero voltar! - Pontos fortes: localização excelente (janela virada para a linda Stradun), limpeza, cama confortável, atendimento rápido quando foi necessario, kit de amenidades maravilhoso :-) Pontos de atenção: escada apertada e em espiral, muita atencao se vc precisar carregar mala pesada (risco de acidente); área do chuveiro apertada para quem é grande; algazarra de bares até madrugada (considere usar abafador de ouvido se tem dificuldade para dormir com barulho), quarto ideal para 1 viajante apenas. Eu AMEI a acomodação e espero ficar nela novamente se voltar a Dubrovnik. Obrigada por tudo! :-)
- Roxane (10/5): - Such a great location, but probably gets noisy during the high-tourist season as my window was right on the main street of old town. The room was on the fifth floor. No elevator of course, but it wasn't bad at all. Communication was easy. I'd definitely stay again.

- PAMELA (10/5): - Charming room in the attic with windows front and back (great cross breeze). Clean and well equipped. Only criticism is the hot water does not last (pressure is good, but had to shower in under a few minutes since the hot water ran out). Very convenient location, easy to pop back in to pick up or drop things off in the room, but could get very noisy at night. Knew this going in, so it was not a surprise. Bedding and bed very comfortable.

- Fa-Chyi (8/5): - The place does not give refunds if reserved dates are incorrect. The communication with the management company seems to indicate changing dates is fine. So, make sure the reserved dates are correct. it happened to us and we shuffled our schedule to make it work. Luckily, other places were easy to cancel. Location-wise, this is at the center of the old town. This is the best part of it. We took several restroom breaks back to the room and also took short rests. Location is the best part of this place. The window opens to have a direct view of the main street. The sound insolation was fairly good once the window was closed. Another plus is the small kitchen that allows light cooking to prepare quick breakfasts and reheat leftovers. The room is not too small as many other reviewers indicated. But the bathroom was not particularly clean. There was a clump of dry hair on the bathroom floor when we first walked in. Our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator due to this being inside the wall and cannot be retrofitted with an elevator as regulated by UNESCO. The stairs are narrow. It was fine for us as we had a carry-on bag only but may be an issue if one has full-size luggage. Overall, we liked the place even though we went through the trouble of rearranging our travel plan.
- Melanie (8/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Stradun in der Altstadt, die Lage ist daher super. In den Morgenstunden kann man so die ruhige Albstadt genießen, wenn man früh aufsteht. Allerdings muss man auch damit klar kommen, dass es abends aufgrund der Lage auch recht laut ist. Ohrstöpseln sind daher hilfreich. Alles für den täglichen Bedarf findet man innerhalb weniger Meter und noch dazu eine wunderschöne Hisorische Stadt und das Meer. Die Unterkunft hat keine Rezeption, die Kommunikation hat über WhatsApp bestens funktioniert. Mein Zimmer war sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Genau wie die gesamte Altstadt muss man auch in der Unterkunft mit vielen Stufen rechnen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und würde immer wieder buchen!

Head straight to office! - First ill start off with some advice, if you arrive early go straight to the office, if you book through hotels itll be through an agent, whasappd them twice asking if early booking is available they said no, so i waited 4 hours til book in time got to the office for them to say they were waiting for my arrival an told me i could have booked in a 11 when i said id be arriving!!! Very annoying. Especially seeing as I spent near €100 waiting in a bar/resturant with my bags. But overall a good stay, noisey location but expected when staying on a main high street but the location is the perfect place for your stay in dubrovnik, everything is within a walk. Would stay here again. Thank.

- Rodolfo (8/5): - The staff are nice and accommodating but only one thing I had some frustrations. My luggage was lost in transit to Dubrovnik from Amsterdam... Croatia Airlines found my luggage and communicated to me and the same information relayed to the staff about the pick-up/delivery since I was away on the tour that day. Croatia airlines called the staff 2x but nobody answers nor returned the call. I have to personally pick up my luggage from Dubrovnik airport, wasted 4 hours. Disgusting!
- Mina (8/5): 軽い荷物の方にオススメ - 旧市街のメインストリートに面しているのでとても便利です。チェックインの時ひとつ隣の通りの同じ番地の前でしばらく待ってしまいました。お部屋が4階で見晴らしが良く急な雨でもすぐに戻って待機する事ができますしたが、エレベーターが無いので重いスーツケースを持って狭い螺旋状の階段を降りるのはとても怖かったです。他にドライヤーをコンセントに差したら煙と火が出て使えず、メールで知らせたら翌日留守の間に入れ替えてありました。スーツケースを開けたまま外出していたので少し困惑しました。
- Sarah (8/5): - For a first visit to Dubrovnik Old City this location is ideal: easy to find from Pile Gate where you will enter (no cars in the Old City) it’s a 5 minute walk - and it’s easy to find the office that acts as reception. The staff in that office were friendly and very efficient. Even though we arrived well ahead of official check in time they had just finished readying our room and we got on straight away. We had room 4 which had a separate kitchenette area, shower room and double room with awesome views over Stradun. It had aircon too which was a real plus. Once the windows are shut you do hear some noise but nothing that stopped us sleeping. Plentiful towels inc face towel, very comfy bed, separate lightweight quilts (so no fighting over the quilt in the night lol) plenty of drawers and hanging space, a small table and 2 chairs (if you ever wanted to eat in - kitchen had most things for basic food prep - and a small fridge - no microwave) all made for a very comfy stay. There was also TV with more international channels than I have ever seen. Although warned in the comprehensive welcome book that at peak times there may be a shortage of hot water, we never experienced this. It wasn’t the cheapest but for the Old City represented good value for 2 people in such a top location.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Very small room and shower! Central location. - The Guesthouse is just off the main street in the old town so it's as central as it gets! However, the stairs are quite narrow and it's a 4 storey building so lugging a heavy bag up and down those stairs can be an accident waiting to happen. The room is very small; the shower is so small that it's hard to turn around. Not sure it's good value for money, particularly given the prices charged in summer.

- Pamela (6/5): Excellent location but very very noisy - The location of this apartment is excellent on the main street. However this is also it's downfall, as it is noisy 24 hours a day. Music and revelry goes on until 3 am, then a street cleaning truck starts at 3.30 am for an hour, then the bin emptying starts at 4.30 am with clunking of glass bottles and shifting of wheelie bins. The church bell sounds on the hour every hour all night and then at 7am restaurants start putting out their tables and chairs.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Long weekend in Dubrovnik - As an almost 70 year-old, I found the trudge up to the 4th floor several times a day just a bit much. Although there was a kettle, plate, mug and cutlery, there were no cooking facilities - a microwave or hotplate would have been useful. Other than that, the location was excellent (noise from Stradun notwithstanding), the room comfortable enough and the bathroom clean and well presented.
- Stefanie (4/5): - It was not a good service when I arrived. The reception is not located at the same place where the room is. So, you do have the address of the room but not of the reception and without WIFI it is not easy to find out the correct address. Check out is at 10 oclock AM but the reception opens at 12 oclock. This is not very customer friendly and make no sence. The people at the reception do like to comunicate more via Whatsapp and not life. In the real world often no one is availbe. This is very sad and I am travaling a lot and never had this before.
- Isa (6/5): - Very Basic Room , I would not call this a Hotel, is an apartment with no reception and no fascilities of a Hotel. The room was clean, and it is in a very central location right in the middle of Old Town Dubrovnik. Custumer service is non existence, you have to coordinate with them your arrival time in advance ( which you will never have to do at a Real Hotel ) so I got there and there was a number to call in the door to get the keys, imaginen you arriving with the suitcase and having to figure out in a city you don’t know where to pick up keys, there is very deep and narrow stairs and no one to help you with them, no information about the area, as I said no custumer service. Definitely I much rather pay the extra money and stay in a better place.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean, central guesthouse - Location is absolutely in the centre of Dubrovnik Old Town so very good and room not noisy with windows closed. Room was clean and reasonably well appointed, however 2 coffee sachets and 2 green tea bags for a 4 day 3 night stay at that price is inadequate. Clearly the separate reception arrangements cause confusion - we met 2 parties trying to access the property who did not have the information about where to go to for keys so this should be made clearer. The room, along with most other tourist purchases in Dubrivnik was expensive for what it is but perfectly adequate for a short stay. No accessibility for anyone with mobility difficulties.

There are to much stairs to climb, if you are not in the first floor. Have to get in contact to the number written at the door to get the keys, so if you don’t have meanings to do so, it’s a problem since there’s no clear address to go for.

Yet unit was very quiet with no street noise. The only problem we had were the very shallow and narrow stairs making it somewhat difficult to carry luggage up and down.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location and comfy room with kitchenette - Check-in didn't go smoothly as the instructions were to send a text message upon arrival, and the response was on WhatsApp which I wasn't checking as I wasn't expecting to need to. Once, checked-in service was great, fixed the light bulbs of the reading lamps and cable signal within 12 hours. The kitchenette with the requested kettle and variety of teas were greatly appreciated. The icebox in the fridge was hit and miss (sometimes worked other times defrosted even when secured closed every time). The room was directly above the main pedestrian street in the Old Town, which was convenient for the running race I was attending, but a bit noisy in the evening/night if you wanted fresh air and left the windows open (I ended up closing every night for light blockage as well). Steep, narrow, winding staircase made it difficult with big heavy bag, but I managed it - just be aware. No housekeeping during the stay, which made it feel more like a home than a hotel. The great location and comfy room made my stay in Dubrovnik my favourite during my tour of the Balkans.

- Marc (8/5): Cozy studio apt with great location - This was a nice apartment with an outstanding location. The window literally swings open to overlook the Stradun (main pedestrian road in the city). Exactly in the center of the old city. Anything within the city walls is no more than a 5 minute walk away so it's about as convenient a place as you're going to find. The room itself was very clean. It was a bit smaller than expected but it got the job done. You definitely get some noise from the main street below if you leave the window open, but it's definitely manageable if you close the window. There were not any toiletries at the place (no soap and shampoo for the shower, but there was hand soap for the sink). Overall I would definitely recommend this place.
- Phil (10/5): Excellent apartment in the heart of the old town - Overlooking the main street of Dubrovnik's old town (Stradun), it's hard to see how the location could be beaten. Even though the dorrway opened to a small alley, you are literally steps from everything, as the old town itself is very small. The apartment was clean and tidy, and even though there were no fresh towels or bedding provided during my stay, I was only there for three nights so this really wasn't an issue at all.

Note narrow staircase and no lift - so no good if you're unfit and have lots of baggage. Just a place to sleep for me - did the job. Note: it is common for the reception office to be located in a different building - this is where you check-in. Check-in is no earlier than stated. Nice bathroom, but I seem to remember that there was no holder for the shower head.

- Elsie (8/5): Great location and a great room - Lumin Guesthouse was an amazing place to stay. We really enjoyed it. The only issue we had was when we arrived we had to call to check in. Unfortunately our phones were not working. A friendly passer-by called for us, an the owner came immediately. He was very nice. There isn't very much hot water for showers, so you have to make it a quick one. Overall we really liked it and will use this property again when in the area.

- Brian (8/5): Perfect Location In The Old City - These renovated apartments are in the perfect location in the Old City. My window overlooked the main street, which is the Strada. There are great restaurants and pubs all around. You will get your exercise in, since it is all stairs to all of the rooms. The bathrooms are smartly designed and very nice. There is an Irish and English pub around the corner, which can get very loud during the early parts of the morning (1am to 3am).
- Peter (6/5): - It was almost impossible to find the place. We asked locals to call the number provided and got no answer. Information kiosk said others had same difficulty.We finally asked a shopkeeper across the street and she had the "special number". The host showed up in 5 minutes. Once there, it was small but clean and perfectly located to everything.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Want to leave your bags before departing. Not here - The room was nice, but the AC was weak. It is noisy because the window faces the main street and people party into the night. If you prefer quiet this is not for you. Be sure to be able to SMS or text or you won't be able to check in, as you need to alert the staff that you have arrived and then wait for them to come (not a long wait). The person who let us in was very helpful and gave us ideas of things to do and marked locations on our map. However, when we went to find the "office" on the day we were leaving to leave our bags - let's just say it was not easy to find (and it was up a bunch of stairs). So, if you plan to check out in the morning and leave your bags because you are departing later in the day - skip this place.
- Sandra & Three (10/5): Quant guest house. Perfect location - Stayed for 5 days with friends. Perfect base for exploring the City and surrounding Islands. We particularly enjoyed Lokrum. Plenty of restaurants for all budgets. Enjoyed sampling local wines and beers !!

- Elvin (10/5): Great place to stay - Even during the travel off season, this is an ideal place to stay. Right in the middle of city center. Homeowner met me at the scheduled time at the front door. Room was clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): really nice guesthouse... (for the heavy sleepers) - Really nice guesthouse; clean and centrally located. Unfortunately location is probably too good as there is a constant noise from the street below with street cleaners making a right din at 5-6am almost every morning that we were there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Old Town location - Room was tiny but it was what we expected while staying in the Old Town. Elma was very helpful and took care of minor shower repair very quickly and also made arrangements for a taxi on our last day as we had to leave very early. We had a perfect location with a window to the Stradun which could make it a little loud, but it did not bother us at all.

Verynice and helpful landlady Minus: no lift and room was on 5th floor with spiral staircase. Noise at night from karaoke pub and from music festival in the centre square and street cleaners waking me up at 6am. Also thin walls and I could hear guest on same floor and below floor
- Jimison (8/5): Great location and price - Great location, in the heart of Old Town square. That being said, it can be. Bit noisy, so plan accordingly. Staff was accommodating and helpful, great communication.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable room - Comfortable stay. No brekfast but discount at local cafes. Great location. Emailed day before arrival to check times which was a nice touch.
- HSIN TING (10/5): - Clean. Convenience. Great location. Price acceptable. You cannot expect the service the same as the service of five or six star hotels. However, quite good enough.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fabulous positioned room right on the Stradum. - Room was in a fabulous position right in the Stradum. Very clean and modern interior. Single room was available at a good price abd right at the top of the building with a lovely view from the room. I would definately stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. Well worth the money paid in my opinion. Darko couldn't have been more helpful too in ordering taxis to the airport and leaving the bag there.
- Susanna (6/5): Excellent place for short stay. - We stayed one night in Lumin guest house. The weather was beautifully sunny and hot. So room air-conditioning come very welcomed. The guest house is very well located. The rooms are little on small side, but have everything you need. There was even plates and cutlery in the drawer.

- Jose (8/5): LITTLE CLEAN PLACE WITH LOTS OF BANG FOR BUCK - Very nice basic guest house. Centrally located and easy to find. Darko and his wife were terrific. Although no front desk or staf on site, he was always 10 mintes away. Would stay here again.
- NASTYA (10/5): First class location. - It located at Stradun, easy to find, no need to climb to get back to your room after a long day. The décor of the room was really lovely and although it overlooked the Stradun. Wi-Fi worked very well. The mini fridge was a great asset and meant we could keep food and drinks fresh. There is a little noise- it's on the main street after all, but double glazing effective and no problems sleeping.The manager very helpful and personable. I would definitely stay here again.
- Londoner (6/5): Excellent location! - Good location and lovely room with a city view. The room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities. However there appear to be some work being done to the building, or the adjoining building, which resulted in drilling and hammering starting from 4am each morning. This made it almost impossible to sleep. There are no staff based at the guesthouse, and because we arrived late, we had to wait for about 30 minutes for the owner to come to the guesthouse to check us in. He was very friendly and helpful though.
- Danielle (8/5): Little Gem! - Great little apartment overlooking the main strip of old town Dubrovnik! It's small but superior finishes and very very clean. It's comfortable and so adorable! I will be coming back! Oh! and the views are spectacular of old town! From seeing mountains to castle walls - was amazing!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed for 4 nights in Dubrovnik at Lumin and it was lovely. It was a great location and although it is on the main street, it was very quiet. The place was clean and spacious, I would highly recommend it!

- Omar (10/5): Great place right on the stradun! - Great place right in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik. My window overlooked the Stradun with great views. The windows do a good job of keeping tourist noise if you choose. The apartment was very clean and looked new. Can't imagine a more convenient location. I would definitely stay there again.
