The owner/manager for 25 yrs (Preeti) knows how to run a unique hotel experience. You can tell she loves he hotel business & the clients. She can make you feel welcome & comfortable even for a short stay. The location is so easy and affordable to drive to and from Lynchburg and Richmond airport.

They have a TV in the room. All you get is what is in the air. Two fussy channels at best. No cable or internet channels. The pillows were like sleeping on labs of slate. terrible . No coffee pots in the room or onsite.

- Evan (8/5): - Check-in was so nice and I think this was the quietest motel I've ever stayed in. Everything was very neat and clean. A/C was wonderful. Beds were the only noticeable oddities. I discovered some time in the middle of the night that the bottom sheet didn't cover the foot of the bed, not because it had come loose but because the bed was made that way with a few inches uncovered by the bottom sheet. But the bed was still comfortable enough.

- Betty (6/5): Small dark and uncomfortable. - We booked last minute and this was the most affordable due to the wine festival. It was ok for a night but not somewhere I would want to stay for a vacation. Beds are full size. Not Queen. And they are the old spring mattresses that bounce up and down. The room was decently clean on the surface but had not been deep cleaned in a while. The remote control was nasty so I cleaned it with Lysol wipes I had brought with me and there was black crusted dirt between the buttons. The shower tub combo was child size and I’m a bigger size person so had to touch the shower curtain while taking a shower. The commode also child size sat almost on the floor and smaller than regular size. Had to stand up to wipe or your hand touched the water in the toilet bowl. TV only had a few channels and those were fuzzy. But we survived for one night and it wasn’t terrible bad over all. We are just accustomed to more updated facilities.

- Debra (8/5): Clean and comfortable but has some issues. - Very clean. Polite staff. Easy check in and check out. Spacious. Comfortable bed. Modernized bathroom. Parking in front of unit. Plenty of lights and plugs. Refrigerator and microwave. Near to restaurants and grocery. Also, I noticed a lot of wineries in the area, if you're into that. A lot of drawers for clothing but no closet. An area to hand things that was located over the desk. There was a (bonus) table that hides under the desk but you could only use the desk chair with it. I guess you could drag the armchair to it if there were 2 people? But that's typical of hotels anyway. The room was clean, safe and comfortable enough for the price. Pillows need upgrade. Right off the highway and my room faced it so noisy starting around 5:30am. Coffee not available in the room but in the office and not available until 8am (although they did offer to make a pot for me but I didn't really have the time to wait). Freezer in refrigerator was full of frost, so lucky I didn't buy that ice cream. Every station on TV is static and picture is skewed (stretched out and distorted). Said there was HBO but I couldn't tell. No info button or guide on remote and I did not find the TV list until the morning (in the nightstand drawer - should be near the TV, IMO) Pressure is weak in shower. One hand towel was badly stained and I would have thought it was dirty if the rest of the room wasn't so clean. They should have thrown it out. I just needed a place to stay overnight on my way through and it was clean, safe, and comfortable enough for the price.

The theme is vintage with murals of mountain scenes in the room - really cute and harkens back to the road travel days of the 60s. There’s an Italian place with kid-friendly meals across the street and a craft brewery that serves BBQ and pizza nearby too.
